Harlan Billy Lewis III (a.k.a. Little Bill) was born to Vanessa Chamberlain and Billy Lewis on Christmas day.

Billy and Vanessa divorced; Vanessa took Bill to visit Billy in Venezuela where they reunited.

Now about 9 years old, Bill returned to Springfield with his parents.

Upset by his parents' dissolving relationship caused by Billy's affair with Nadine, young Bill rebelled, stole his grandfather's Bentley and crashed it during a drunken bender.

Just Friends: Bill (then-Bryan Buffington) always had unrequited feelings for his childhood pal Michelle (then-Rachel Miner). — CRAIG BLANKENHORN

Now 12, Bill discovered Tangie's stolen $25,000 buried on the beach and used some of it to purchase expensive perfume for childhood crush Michelle; Bill followed Tangie to the lighthouse, which was set on fire by a mobster named Ray who wanted his stolen cash back. Josh saved the duo from the blaze.

Accidentally started the second fire on Fifth Street that left several Springfielders homeless.

Refused to live with new stepdad Matt and moved in to the boardinghouse after Vanessa "died" in a car accident.

Romance Gone Wrong: Pilar Santos's (Paula Garces) mobster family ties proved to be troublesome for love struck Bill (then-Ryan Brown). — LORENZO BEVILAQUA

Bill graduated from high school, had a fling with Pilar Santos and was later hired at SanCorp by mobster maven Carmen to work on the company's software programs.

Busted: Bill (Brown) landed himself in jail for unwittingly stealing info from Spaulding. — WALTER THOMPSON

Arrested for hacking into a Spaulding Enterprises computer and sent to prison; was released after accepting a plea bargain vowing to stay out of computer business for five years.

Vanessa departed Springfield after recovering from a brain tumor, leaving all her business assets and real estate to Bill. He partied and traveled, eventually leaving town to be with Pilar in Europe.

After some globe-trotting, during which he shared a romance and married Lorelei Hills/Beth, Bill returned to Springfield for Reva and Josh's wedding and decided to stay.

Saved Michelle from being killed by Carmen and began dating her while she was estranged from Danny; agreed to help build Towers.

Named President of Lewis Construction; became engaged to the troubled Eden August, who had an affair with Tony and left him; started drinking, forced out of Lewis Construction and befriended Olivia.

Offered to help rig the jury in Harley's murder trial for killing Phillip; married Liv to prevent her from being deported back to San Cristobel and adopted Emma. They later divorced (thanks to her role in helping Billy fall off the wagon) and Bill returned to Venezuela alone.
