Gatschet has been dating her boyfriend Jason for eight years, with just one minor problem — he lives in her hometown of Philadelphia, while she now resides in New York.

"We've been really lucky [to stay together]. We're not the same people. We're very different," explains Gatschet, who adds that, nevertheless, the couple has grown together rather than apart.

Still, a long-distance relationship has its challenges. "The hardest thing is that we have to do a lot of back and forth traveling," she admits. "We have been seeing each other on weekends and even though it's only a two hour trip, schlepping back and forth can get tiring, especially since we both work.

"The rest of the week having to just talk to each other on the phone, I always wish that he were there or I were here so that we could just see each other whenever we want to and it's hard not to be able to," she explains.

But there's a happy ending in store for this pair. "We won't have to do that for much longer, so there's light at the end of the tunnel. He's going to be making the move to New York within a few months. I'm very excited," she grins.
