Alexis Davis may have served as Port Charles' district attorney, but she has plenty of experience on the other side of the law. In her latest close encounters of the legal kind, Alexis was accused of killing the mayor's mistress and forcing Claudia's car off the road, resulting in a miscarriage. Well, Andrea was exposed as Brianna Hughes' true killer, and Alexis was sentenced to community service for "causing" Claudia's accident — a crime we know she didn't commit. Alexis survived this brush with the law relatively unscathed, but if these highlights from her rap sheet are any indication, it won't be her last legal scrape.

Alexis helped Luke plot to kill Helena, but the Cassadine matriarch avoided a booby-trapped parapet when Katherine Bell tumbled to her apparent death instead.

Pregnant with Sonny's child, Alexis went into premature labor in the park while confronting Luis Alcazar, who refused to help her. As if that weren't enough, Alexis also blamed him for the death of her sister, Kristina, in a warehouse explosion meant for Sonny. Alexis pushed Alcazar to his death off his penthouse balcony. She pleaded insanity, citing dissociative identity disorder (DID), and was later found not guilty by reason of mental defect. Ned was given custody of the daughter she named Kristina, so Alexis disguised herself as a man and got hired as the Quartermaine butler, Dobson, in order to keep tabs on the child.

Alexis broke into Ric's apartment and stole documents that would have incriminated Sonny.

Sonny had legal custody of Kristina when Alexis spirited the child away to London. Sonny had a warrant waiting for her when she returned.

Alexis was diagnosed with lung cancer; to cope with the pain, she obtained medical marijuana. When Ric discovered that she was smoking, he brought her up on charges, hoping to get custody of their daughter, Molly.

On her way to win the "Litigator of the Year" award with Diane, their car broke down, forcing the women to break into a nearby bar for food and water.
