Reporter's Notebook

Scott Clifton (Dillon)
Scott spilled the beans about Kirsten Storms's [Maxie] GH crush: "It's no secret that she loves Ted King [Alcazar]. He's scared of her now on set." Chimed in Storms, "I can't help it!"

Will we ever see Dillon in drag again? "I think I may have horrified everyone into not ever pursuing that possibility again. I looked like a linebacker. I look more manly as a woman than I do as a man. It was cute and funny for a second, but nobody bought that I was a girl. I think we can learn from our mistakes and move on. It may happen, but I can't imagine why [laughs]."

Corbin Bernsen (Durant)
Bernsen wasn't on the official itinerary, but he was in town to host a screening of his daytime star-studded, directorial debut, Carpool Guy, at Disney's Pleasure Island. "It went great," Bernsen reported. "Daytime fans are just the best. There are a number of fans who've been to all of our screenings so far, which I think is amazing."

Bernsen also reported that they're already talking about his production company's next soap star-laden film, which may be a horror flick. "Please tell the fans we welcome all of their ideas and suggestions," he said. "Have them write us at the Web site." Your wish is granted, Corbin: If you're interested in purchasing your own copy of Carpool Guy, or would like to let Bernsen know what's on your mind, check out www.carpoolguy.com or www.publicmediaworks.com.

Steve Burton (Jason)
Burton was relieved that the train wreck storyline had wrapped: "Being in that dirt for all those days was horrible. And, of course, [the makeup department] would have to try and match it every day and it didn't match. You couldn't recognize anyone except by their eyes. The funniest story [involved] Maurice [ Benard, Sonny]. They dumped this debris that was supposed to go on everybody and it somehow went right down on his head [only]. He didn't like getting dirty [laughs]."

Kirsten Storms (Maxie)
— Steve Fenn/ABC

Kirsten Storms (Maxie)
Storms noted that even though this was her first Super Soap, participating in ABC's Fun In The Sun was a good warm-up.

When asked who's more fun to play, DAYS OF OUR LIVES's Belle or GH's Maxie, Storms replied, "I'm not only saying this because I'm on GENERAL HOSPITAL, but I've always been a huge fan of the show. I enjoy playing Maxie so much more because she's more like me. It was weird because Lindze was the first person I met and when she knocked on my [dressing room] door, I'm like, 'Georgie's at my door!' I love her. She's my sissie."

Storms also reported that she learned a lot from her recent work: "The stalker storyline has made me more aware [of her surroundings] when I'm out. Adrianne [Leon, Brook Lynn] actually did a lot of research on date-rape drugs and came in with all this information and was talking to me about it. There is so much stuff I had no idea about. I think if I get something out of it, others will, too."

Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth)
Would Rebecca like to have her husband, Michael Saucedo (ex-Juan), back on the show? "Yeah," she shared, "for a couple of reasons. My husband loved working there. He absolutely adored it. It's sad that he doesn't get to do it anymore, so to have him there would be magic. I could spend 24 hours a day with him."

Herbst shared her thoughts on GH's new Lulu, Julie Marie Berman: "She's a little spitfire, isn't she? She's just like her character. She's a lot of fun. [Lulu] reminds me a lot of my character eight years ago when I came on the show. I think my character can really relate to her."

Lindze Letherman (Georgie)
Letherman had a unique encounter with AMC's Leven Rambin (Lily): "It was exciting to meet Leven, who I had been talking to through my Web site. She came up to me last night and said, 'When are you going to come up and say hi to me?' I was like, 'Excuse you?' and she said, 'Oh, hello. I'm Leven. We've been talking. Oh, my God, how's your dog?' I knew her so well, but I had never met her before, so it was cool for me to meet someone I've been talking to for such a long time."

Letherman also reported that she has sped up her schoolwork, so she's due to graduate high school by Christmas.
