GENERAL HOSPITAL's Sonny: Stabbed In The Back!

1. Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH) — ABC

   I look like a cross between his ex-love Brenda and his dead wife, Lily. I worked my way into his bed and his heart. Then he found out I was an FBI agent.
2. I tried on several occasions to get into Sonny's good graces. When he was finally starting to trust me, I tried to gaslight him into insanity. I did it so I could be there to pick up the pieces, help him get better, and win him over. We are family, after all.
3. I was his trusted bodyguard for years, but that did not spare my life when Sonny found out I was working for Alcazar. He sent Jason to take care of the situation, and I have not been seen since.
4. Until Kate came along, I was his "first true love." We were untouchable; a supercouple. Things went bad when the police talked me into wearing a wire to build evidence against him. I didn't think Sonny would ever forgive me, but we eventually found our way back to each other. He left me at the altar on our wedding day to spare my life.

5. Benard with Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda). — ABC

   My gambling addiction caused me to abandon Sonny and his mother when he was just a little boy. I did not know I was leaving them in the hands of an abuser. I came back into his life after he was an adult. He told me I was dead to him and he would never forgive me for being a coward. Things slowly got better between us over the years, but he will never truly forgive me.
6. I was a trusted member of Sonny's organization. I hated the way he treated Lily and kept chasing after Brenda, so one day I snapped. I began working with Rivera to bring Sonny and Brenda down. I trapped him and Brenda in some tunnels, but I was the one who died there.
7. Sonny trusted me as his attorney and friend, until a one-night stand changed everything. Sonny went back to Carly, and I had his daughter. When he learned the truth, he sued me for custody.
8. After a car accident left me brain-damaged, I went to work for Sonny as his enforcer and right-hand man. I have risked my life and taken bullets for him on many occasions. I agreed to take over the business if he surrendered his paternal rights to his children.
9. I am the sister Sonny never knew existed, thanks to our estranged father. We never really bonded, because Sonny could not control me, and I fell in love with his enforcer after marrying his enemy. Sonny sent Jason to kill Alcazar, but I saved Alcazar by knocking Jason out. Sonny barely acknowledged me after that — until I died.

10. Benard with Steve Burton (Jason, GH). — ABC

    I have been the cause of him being arrested, and even tried to turn him in to the feds myself. I kept the knowledge of his daughter a secret, and yet he still married me four times. He can't stay away from me, and I cannot avoid him. Sonny and I will always be connected.
11. BONUS:
    We bonded over the loss of Stone, someone so dear to us both. I would never betray Sonny, because he saw me through some of the worst times in my life, but Sonny did not see it that way when I told the truth about Michael's paternity, thus hurting Jason. I left for Paris, and it took years for us to reconcile.
