BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL Interview

How I Spent my Holidays

— By Deanna Barnert

The cast of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL reveals what kept them busy over their holiday hiatus, from top-secret Vegas weddings to 50-mile horse races.

KATHERINE KELLY LANG (Brooke):
"It was totally booked up. It went by so fast! I went skiing in Utah, I went skiing in Mammoth over New Year's and I did a 50-mile horse race in Death Valley. I had so much to do all the time, especially with Christmas and training my horse. I train him all the time, but I really had to ride him a lot in December. Now I need a vacation from my time off!"

ADRIENNE FRANTZ (Amber):
"I worked on my demo with my cousin. We created a band together called Anomaly. We're going to do an album of rock chick music. I used to have a band and I missed it. One day I started writing again and I wrote tons of new material. It's awesome."

BRIAN GASKILL (Oscar):
"I got married (to Tonya Watts) and spent three days in Vegas. A lot of Oscar was based on my own feelings about Vegas. I'm not into gambling, but I like the showmanship of Vegas. I won't say where we stayed, but I wasn't that happy at our hotel. There was sort of a negative energy there that was putting a damper on a beautiful situation. We got out of Vegas and got home to have a beautiful Christmas together with her three Pomeranians. Then we went back East. My parents had a 25th anniversary party and then we spent a week in New York City. Her mother and sister came up to visit and it was the first time I'd ever met her mother. I still haven't met her father."

EMILY HARRISON (Bridget):
"I wanted to go Christmas shopping, but since there's all this flu going around, I didn't want to take the baby (Jack) shopping, so (boyfriend and Jack's father) Michael and I had to switch off. I let him go out and I swear he was gone for 12 hours. I kept calling him, 'What's going on! You've got to come back. I have to go Christmas shopping.' Three days in a row, he was gone for so long and I was getting pissed, thinking he was totally selfish. Well, he was actually diamond shopping for me! He proposed and gave me a beautiful ring. He picked out the perfect diamond. That's what he was doing the whole time, so I felt like an ass."

JACK WAGNER (Nick):
"I spent vacation a little in town and a little in Florida for the beach, golf and family stuff. The vacation [was] pretty family focused."
