BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL Interviews
Adrienne Frantz's CATastrophe— By Deanna Barnert THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL's Adrienne Frantz (Amber) has a bone to pick with Bob "THE PRICE IS RIGHT" Barker, her neighbor at CBS Television City. She followed his famous advice with her pets and boy did it cost her! "That's a really funny story," promises Frantz, whose brood at home includes chocolate Labs Lucy and Ethel and feline divas Eva La Rue and Cuddles Patricia, all of whom are happily neutered. Then came her newest rescue, Puck. "I found him laying in the middle of the street on this bridge by my house," Frantz recalls. "I walked over and was like, 'Are you planning on moving?' He rolled over for me to pet his belly." Though friendly, the young cat was clearly not doing well, so after posting "Found" sighs around town, Frantz took him to the vet. "He actually had phlebitis. He almost died," she shudders. "He'd been on his own for a year and half and no one called to claim him, so I got him neutered right away and didn't think anything of it." Now, she can't stop thinking about it. It ends up her stray cat is actually a purebred Savannah. "They start out at $6000 and go to $47,000 — for one cat," Frantz cries. "Their markings are what make them more expensive and he's the one that would be the most! I could have made a fortune. I had a stud and I snipped him!"
