1992: Thorne comes home to find his apartment transformed into a winter wonderland and his virginal girlfriend, Karen, wearing a sexy Santa suit. After they dance thisclose, Karen offers herself and they retire to the bedroom so that Thorne can unwrap his gift.

1995: The Forresters gather for Christmas at Eric and Stephanie's house, where Ridge gives Brooke a ruby heart necklace for their upcoming nuptials. Stephanie notices that Macy is troubled over her mom and brother spending the holidays alone. Steph slips out and shows up at Sally's place to extend a personal invitation. Shortly after Stephanie returns home, Macy is elated when Sally and C.J. arrive and Eric invites them to sit down at the Forrester table for Christmas dinner.

1996: The Spectra gang are invited once again to share the holidays with the Forresters. Stephanie offers this toast: "Christmas always reminds me that we ought to share our bounty with others. The miracle of Christmas is the gifts we give each other: love, joy, and hope. May God bless each and every one of us." However, Macy is upset when hubby Thorne is a no-show. That's because he drove over to Claudia's (the beautiful new Forrester employee) humble home to personally deliver the bonus check she left behind at work. When Thorne is stranded, thanks to a dead car battery, he agrees to share Christmas dinner with Claudia and her family. Macy is not amused. What does she think of Claudia? Ho, ho, ho!

1997: Stephanie is anything but full of holiday cheer for the family's annual get-together because her children are paired up all wrong this year. Ridge is engaged to Brooke, but he doesn't know Taylor is carrying his child because she's pretending that a lovesick Thorne is the daddy. Just as Taylor is about to blab the truth to Ridge, Brooke announces she is pregnant.
