No, it's not a new soap. Within a year, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) has worked with three different actresses in the role of her on-screen daughter, Bridget, on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. "Every person is different, so you have to develop a new relationship with the same character and make it believable, which is kind of a weird thing, but that's what you have to do," Lang explains. Here, she weighs in on this trio of players.

Jennifer Finnigan (2000-2004): Finnigan made quite an impression on fans, was nominated for two Soap Opera Digest Awards and nabbed three consecutive Emmys. Lang says, "I saw her last night on [the sitcom COMMITTED] and she looked great. I love her. She's a great actress and she'll be working for a long time. When she made the decision to leave, I know it was hard because she really loved it here, but it was time for her to go. Jen asked me what she should do and I told her it was now or never. Everything has just fallen into place for her. It was meant to be. I'm so proud of her."

Emily Harrison (2004): After Finnigan's January exit, B&B recast with Harrison that same month. She was seen here and there until July and by November, was officially off the show. "I think she came on too soon after Jennifer left," observes Lang. "They were trying to finish up Bridget's story, so they needed to recast right away. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. We didn't get very much airtime. It's really hard for someone to come in like she had to so soon after a popular actress."

Ashley Jones (2004-present): Jones came on board in December. Lang enthuses, "She's so cute. I think she was a very good choice. I enjoy working with her and I think it shows. We work off of each other really well and we can get the emotion from each other. Ashley has that Bridget quality."
