Terri Colombino's Favorite Storylines

— By Tonya Lensch

1. "I loved Simon and Katie falling in love, once she stopped scheming and pretending she was pregnant and all of that. [The show] didn't plan on their romance; it just happened out of blue, and I like that."

2. "Mark (Collier, Mike) and I were just talking about Mike and Katie in Australia and being trapped in the coffin. That was fun! Discovering that relationship was cool, too. I love stories where relationships are building. Once you're together, it's not there anymore. Plus, it was great for me to play that loss and anger of losing Simon."

3. "I loved the liver storyline with Margo. I wish it had been a little longer and more in-depth, because I appreciated the social issue of that story, which I don't get to do a lot with my character. And I love working with Ellen (Dolan, Margo). I love that Katie has her as a family member to bounce things off of, since Katie doesn't really have a best girlfriend."

4. "The Endicott Awards, when Katie got busted, was a highlight. It was so embarrassing and humiliating, and that stuff is always fun to play. I miss playing Katie as a vixen. Brian Gaskill (BJ/Byron) was just saying, 'I don't feel as bad playing this creepy character because, supposedly, you weren't the ingenue they're trying to portray you as now. You were bad for a while, too.' It reminded me of who Katie was, and it's changed how I'm playing this story now. She would know how to play BJ; she's not going to play a weakling. Katie has it in her. It doesn't just go away."

5. "When I was on the island with Trent (Dawson, Henry), finding comedy...through Henry [for Katie] — and through Trent for me. Sometimes we have to do the wackiest stuff, and you think the audience is going to go: What the...? But they loved it, because we loved doing it. Cooley was there, I was skinny-dipping, having my clothes stolen. That was fun."
