Please do not cancel Y&R. It is bad enough we are losing Guiding Light. Keep canceling our soaps and we won't have to watch CBS at all. I am 73 and have always watched CBS. I don't want to change stations now. I am not interested in any other soaps or any new one. This is not fair to your loyal viewers. It is bad enough when you preempt our soapss for sports events but to cancel them altogether is outrageous.Shouldn't the viewers have a vote or a say before something this drastic is done? Perhaps we need someone else to make these decisions. What else can I say. I think your heas of CBS need to rethink their decisions. The soaps are for the viewers. We don't care what anyone else thinks. If one more soap is canceled on CBS, I for one will stop watching that station altogether. My opionion is canceling the Young & the Restless SUCKS.IT SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot think of any thing better to say about the whole thing. Except maybe to say your decision stinks. CBS people need new job

I agree with Beverly Mowerty, above. CBS used to cater to the 'mature' audience (you guess, because we have good judgement?). I certainly hope you don't intend to put on more of those 'judge' shows or things like 'wendy wilson'. I will definite spend more time watching cable than CBS. It's bad enough with so many 'realty' shows---I realize they are Cheaper to produce/show. Where I live, we get the 'soaps during the hours when young people are in school, so I would hope you aren't aiming for that demographics!!!!! Please, PLEASE reconsider about GUILDING LIGHT.
