1993: Viewers were introduced to Erica heretofore unknown daughter when the girl showed up on her mother's doorstep in the rain, claiming to be a runaway and a huge fan of La Kane's. Erica gave her a job, not knowing that Kendall was the product of an adolescent Erica's rape by matinee idol Richard Fields. (Kendall had been adopted by the Harts and raised in Florida.) When Kendall blurted out the truth, Erica invited her to move into Wildwind with her and her husband, Dimitri.

1994: Kendall became fixated on winning Dimitri's affections and told Erica that he raped her. In a post-traumatic state, Erica stabbed her hubby.
Kendall lied under oath during Erica's trial, stating that she had never accused him of attacking her. When the truth came out, Kendall did time for perjury. While she was incarcerated, she got engaged to Anton (Dimitri's ward), but he dumped her when he discovered her alliance with Del, who was writing a scathing tell-all biography on Erica. After Anton learned that he was actually Dimitri's son, he married Kendall. But the union was merely intended to torture their respective parents, and they ended up splitting. Also, Kendall came to see her father's true colors when he tried to force himself on her sister, Bianca.
