Soap Opera Digest: When did your working relationship carry over into hanging out?
Ricky Paull Goldin: I think it came out of having so much dialogue that we'd have to run lines at lunch, running to the deli.
Chrishell Stause: The lunch runs, yes! What he does at a deli is the funniest thing I've ever seen. This is probably when I knew I really loved him. He orders all kinds of food. I think he might be afraid that we'll need to go into a bomb shelter and that he might not have everything he would need in that situation [Goldin laughs]. So he goes to the check-out counter with all this stuff and he starts looking around like, "What else do I need?" The bill at the deli for lunch ends up being like $55, we're carrying two bags apiece back to the studio, we came back and we were eating Twix and Butterfingers and I was in love, what can I say?
Goldin: You know, sometimes you want the lunch special, but instead of the beans and rice, you want the fries ... and you want just a little taste of something else ...
Stause: He got his own buffet going.
Goldin: This is not L.A. where we've got the fancy commissary! We're roughing it here in New York City!
Digest: Do you guys hang out at work before you're called to set?
Stause: We always find time to sit by the windows and talk about our scenes. I haven't always done that. Some people, when they run lines, it's strictly running lines, but with Ricky, it's not just that; it's figuring out the scenes.
Goldin: I watch her body language when we're running something. I see if there's something that she needs. Just like in a relationship, she wants to say something and she's not getting to say it. Sometimes it's in the script and it's not coming out. Then you go, "What do you want to make happen here?" But I also close her eyes a lot when we run lines, so that I can really hear her.
Stause: Really, he's just asleep.
Goldin: That has happened! I can't stand working first thing in the morning.

I love Jake and Amanda! The are the hottest couple on AMC! I was so happy to hear that she was not leaving the show. I was so upset to see Greenlee go and this would have taken me over the top with AMC.
I LOVE Amanda and Jake as a couple!!! I was very unhappy when Greenlea was killed.
Now I know why there's this chemistry between Jake and Amanda... I'm sorry, but I get a little tired of it all being about Kendall. Makes me think that the powers that be will change the name to All My Kendall or All The Storylines are All About Kendall... Ok, we know that no one really killed Stuart. Kendall dropped the gun and the gun accidentally went off. It did that a few weeks ago when Annie dropped the gun. How come nobody noticed that?
i love jake and amanda together.i can't see anybody else being with them. he is so sensative to her needs and wants and she really appriciates him for everything he does for her. she is beautiful and he is a major hunk. never let either one of them leave. i once thought kendell and zach were the best but after see amanda and jake that's the top. don't let them ever slip through your fingers.
I have a feeling Greenlee is coming back and this will save Jake & Amanda from David. David has Greenlee hidden and it will come out and that will be that for Sir. David and happy times again for Jake & Amanda, yeah one for the good guys.
Chrishell Stause has shined alone for so long, and I've been waiting and waiting for her to have a romantic match on the show. I'm glad Amanda is happy now!
i just wish david h.would get off their back (amanda /jake).true,they did keep his son from him=but david has done evil/nasty things to people in p.v.he has a `right` to be angry-realize what he has done to other people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please give Kendall something else to say besides whinning to Zach about the readhead. This line is getting a little old. Almost want to turn it off when I see her with a scene. Seh needs to go back into a coma. Yawn, boring
I also like Jake and Amanda together. I do feel bad for David, so I wish he would find someone and just be willing to have joint custody with Amanda. Enough already with Kendell and Zach. I will be curious to see how both are written off the show since neither are making the move to California
I am curious what anyone was thinking or not thinking by putting Ryan and Erica together. Gross! Also Annie and Adam. Disgusting! I can only hope for change in both of these situations. I am kinda tired of the whole Kendall and Zach drama as well, but very sad that he is leaving the show. He is one of the sexiest men on TV!!
i wish someone would get david out. i hate kendall leaving the show and zach they r good 2gether, i love jake and amanda will stay 2gether,that david alway's had 2 have his way. how r they going 2 write joe off the show? kill david off. the show done really good w/out him!!!!!!! please keep jake and amanda 2gether please tell david were 2 go. y is zach leaving the show his real wife on one live 2 live as marty. she is w/todd. so please keep amanda and jake 2gehter and put david in the road!!!!!!!!!!! We all know that Annie killed Stuart and have made her daughter keep the secret! So why all of sudden is Adam being blamed. And this so called marriage (to deseparte Annie I might add) is just sick - I just turn off the show. Mature Kendall!!! She constantly make stupid and irresponsible decisions. How in the world do you go from adultery to making you spouse take you back and never apoligize or admit that you were wrong. Please! Erica and Ryan; Adam and Annie!! Why don't Amanda stand up to David and take him to court for full custody. I'm sure she will win, considering that cold heart of his and all the wrong doing that he has and no one will challenge him.
I think you should bring Janet from another planet back(Amanda's mother) to get rid of David. She's probably the only one that would do the job.
