Palm Springs, Calif. (August 12, 2014) — Singer, recording artist and two time Emmy-nominated actress Bobbie Eakes brings her vocal talents to the Purple Room Restaurant and Stage for a Special Labor Day Weekend Show on Sunday, August 31 at 7:00pm.
As a singer and recording artist, her recent smooth jazz CD debuted at number 21 on the Smooth Jazz charts. She also has had two double platinum CDs in Europe. With talents spanning multiple musical genres, she recorded a duet, Loving This Way, with Sony Nashville’s top country artist Collin Raye. She toured the country with Collin and performed with him in venues such as The Greek in Los Angeles and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, which were special highlights of her career. While in Nashville, Bobbie also worked for Great American Country Network as host of the network’s Top 20 Country Countdown.
Now a resident of Palm Springs, Bobbie said, “I am thrilled to bring my music to the Purple Room Restaurant and Stage, one of the best places to see live entertainment in the Palm Springs area.”
