Jamaica-born Evan Parke was raised in Brooklyn, NY and then on Long Island, NY. He didn't originally intend to become an actor, but took some drama class during his senior year at Cornell University and fell in love with the craft. After graduating, Parke took on various non-acting jobs; he then attended the Yale School Of Drama, where he received his Master's Degree in theater. Parke returned to New York City, where he landed small roles on AMC and ATWT, and did theater. In 1999, he appeared in the critically-acclaimed Cider House Rules.
Over the next decade, the actor landed roles on many TV series, including ALIAS, FASTLANE and MEDIUM; he was also in films, such as King Kong and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, where he worked with Robert Downey, Jr. and Val Kilmer.
In 2011, Parke joined Y&R as District Attorney Spencer Walsh and has been a big part of the story involving the take-down of Owen Pomerantz and the dirty cops.
