Monday
River was arrested and taken away. A teenage girl showed up and asked where he went to and the waitress explained that he was led away in handcuffs. Meanwhile, Michael assured Lauren that he could move on with his life after saying goodbye to River. Gloria and Jeff arrived and were happy to hear that River had left town. Michael rankled when Jeffrey dissed River so Jeff left. Michael, Lauren and Gloria were shocked when a breaking-news report revealed River's arrest. "Somebody told the authorities he was here," Michael surmised. After Gloria departed, the teen showed up and blamed Michael for River's arrest. When Michael asked who she is, she answered, "Your sister."
Amber was shocked when everyone knew Liam as Billy, especially his niece Colleen. "Why am I calling you Liam and everyone else is calling you Billy?" Amber demanded to know and Billy explained it was a moniker he switched to now and then to "suit my mood." Lily asked if Billy was moving back to Genoa
City and he said that Jabot in Hong Kong is his home base. Amber began bragging about what a jet setter her boyfriend is. Colleen pulled her uncle aside so they could catch up and Lily warned Amber that Billy is a player. "I definitely don't need relationship advice from you," Amber sniffed. Kevin and Jana finally arrived and Daniel informed them that Liam is Billy. "That guy sucks," grumbled Kev. Meanwhile, Billy showed interested in Lily but
Colleen told him that she was once involved with his brother Cane. Billy was then surprised to hear that Cane is CEO of Jabot. Colleen asked Billy to keep Amber busy. Kevin and Jana warned Amber that Billy isn't a nice person. Daniel was surprised when Billy bought several of his sketches of Amber.
At her ultrasound appointment, Chloe was worried when she learned that the date of conception could be determined. Cane showed up and Chloe wasn't successful in shooing him away. During the exam, Cane was overcome with emotion remembering when he and Lily lost their baby. Cane left the room and the doctor announced that the baby was conceived around June 28th. Chloe told the doctor that her husband "must never know that date." Cane returned and Chloe asked if he felt anything upon seeing his child but Cane didn't answer. Later, a lab tech gave Cane a copy of the ultrasound.
Gloria called Kevin with the news of River's arrest. Lily overheard Kevin tell Jana that "Michael's dad has been arrested." ... Colleen urged Billy to visit Genoa City and help cheer Lily up.... Jeff confirmed for Gloria that he was the one who turned River in then hurled his wife a veiled threat.... A cop informed River that he was never getting out of jail.... Cane stared with wonderment at the picture of the ultrasound. Meanwhile Chloe paid off the lab tech for fudging the date of conception on the ultrasound.... Daniel removed Billy's sold sticker off one of his sketches of Amber.
Tuesday
At the New York gallery, Daniel stood back and admired a sketch of Amber. He flashed back to Billy wanting to purchase it. Colleen joined him and he returned to reality. She suggested that they celebrate his successful exhibit. However, Daniel was worried about Amber dating Billy, stating that he's a player. Colleen noted that Daniel was upset about Billy buying the Amber sketches. He confessed that he still cares for Amber and considers her a friend. Colleen hoped he saw her as more than a friend; Daniel assured her that he did and kissed Coll.
Meanwhile, Billy followed Amber to a nearby bar and gently scolded her for ditching him. She explained that it was claustrophobic in the gallery. He shrugged it off and raised a toast to Amber being the inspiration for Daniel's drawings. He noted that she might become famous and compared her to a famous portrait of a woman. Amber answered that she wants to become famous on her own. Lily interrupted them and asked if they'd seen Colleen, but they hadn't. When Amber stepped away, Billy invited Lily to join them, but she refused, explaining that she and Amber aren't friends. She then gave some dish to Billy, telling him that Amber was once wed to Cane — Billy's brother. Amber returned, but zoned out when she got an image in her head of Colleen and Daniel getting it on in the gallery. Later, Daniel and Colleen joined them, and Amber stared daggers at her rival. She then made a show out of snuggling up to her new beau. Billy suggested they leave and head to his hotel room; Amber agreed and they split. After, they had sex.... Lily got Daniel alone and warned him not to stay with Colleen unless he truly is in love with her.... While they were still in bed, Billy questioned Amber about his brother Cane. She replied that Cane was a decent guy but they broke up because of "mistakes." ... Daniel returned to the gallery alone and continued to stare at the drawing of Amber.
Jill was thrilled when she received word that she was off the hook with the Feds. She went to tell Cane, but Chloe answered the door and said that he wasn't home. Chloe invited her in, but Jill replied that she'd wait in the car. This annoyed Chloe.... At Crimson Lights, Cane showed the ultrasound photo of Chloe's baby to a thrilled Esther and Katherine. Kay slipped up and stated that it was Lily's baby.... Jill gave in and joined Chloe, who filled her in on her OB/GYN visit. Jill was happy to hear that the baby was doing well, but was cold toward her daughter-in-law. Both were relieved when Cane returned home. He showed Jill the ultrasound photo. Jill then asked if she could speak with Cane alone and gave him her news about the Feds. She looked forward to taking control of Chancellor Industries and being partners with Cane.... At home, a worried Esther suggested to Kay that she see a doctor about her mixing up Chloe and Lily's names. Kay laughed it off, but Esther noted that things like this keep happening. Kay became angry and implored her not to tell Jill about what had happened.... Chloe was touched when Cane agreed to rub her hands, which were sore and swollen from the pregnancy.... Jill, Kay and Esther discussed seeing the ultrasound. Kay again referred to it as Lily's baby, but Esther covered for her.
Michael and Lauren were surprised when a teenage girl arrived and informed them that she's River's daughter, Eden. She blamed Michael for River being thrown in jail and demanded that Michael save him. Baldwin instructed Eden to stay with Lauren while he went to the prison, but she wanted to go with him. She then defended her father, saying that he was fighting for what he believed in and the charges were bogus. Meanwhile, in jail, River was questioned about the bomb he'd once set off. River said that he'd never meant to hurt anyone, but the FBI agent noted that it had been an act of terrorism.... After Michael left, Lauren questioned Eden about her life. Eden shared that her mother died 15 years ago, but wasn't eager to bond further. Instead, she asked if she could take a bath.... Michael arrived at the prison and asked River about Eden. He wondered why his father hadn't told him about her; River explained that he didn't want to make his arrival in town even more complicated. River then shared that Eden's mother had been a grad student at the college he'd taught at — and died due to a drug problem. Michael agreed to take Eden in. Later, River's attorney Dick Dentner arrived, explaining that he was also an activist. River was pleased and agreed to use him as his lawyer. Michael looked horrified. When he returned home, Michael referred to the other lawyer as "a pontificating gas bag." Eden joined them and Michael assured her that he'd do what he could to help their father. He then told her that she was to stay with them, but she refused. He explained that he'd promised River he'd look after her. Eden insisted that she could take care of herself, but reluctantly agreed to stay... for River's sake.
Wednesday
Phyllis told Noah that she and Nick have been working very long days to put out Restless Style, but that she was enjoying the process. Meanwhile, Jack called Sharon from Mexico, where he was with Adam. Sharon wondered where he was. He lied that he was in L.A. visiting Ashley. Sharon became concerned when
he said he wasn't sure when he was coming home; she wondered if this had to do with the note she wrote for Nick. He then hung up his cell phone before answering. After at the coffeehouse, Phyllis questioned Sharon about Jack. Sharon was annoyed with her for butting in, but Phyllis stated that she cares about Jack. She then wondered why Jack didn't take Sharon on his trip.... In Mexico, Jack and Adam questioned a local inspector about Victor's activities there. The inspector explained that they never found
Victor's body; Adam revealed that Newman was alive. Jack then asked about the other man who'd been on the fishing boat with Victor. The inspector showed them a photo of the man, but neither Adam nor Jack recognized the person. Jack wanted to keep the photo, but the inspector refused. Adam wisely photographed the picture using his cell phone camera.
Victor sat alone in the gallery and imagined dancing with the late Sabrina. Nick arrived at the office and heard music playing on the lower level. He entered the space and found Victor passed out on the floor. He helped his father into a chair, but Victor wouldn't let him call an ambulance. "I'm empty," Victor whispered as Nick tried to reach out to him. Victor then said that he needed to put some things in order and questioned him about Mexico.
After agreeing to take in Eden, Michael was reeling from the fact that he has a teenaged sister. He was furious with River for not initially telling him about the girl. Lauren tried to keep Michael calm and planned for Eden's future. Soon, River's lawyer Dick Dentner arrived and informed them that everything was "cool" with River, and that if they didn't want to take in Eden, he could see if someone at the ashram would look after her. Michael
wanted her close by. Dick revealed that River was going to be
imprisoned in Michigan. Eden joined them and freaked out when she got the news. Meanwhile, Gloria and Kevin discussed the situation and agreed that everything was a "real mess." Kevin then asked her about her relationship with Jeffrey. Glo replied that Jeffrey is always getting in her face; Kevin suspected that she was hiding something. They were interrupted when Jeff returned home from a golf game. He gleefully mentioned River's arrest. Kevin
became suspicious when Jeff noted that someone turned River in.... Lauren took Eden to Crimson Lights, with Eden arguing with her the entire time. Lauren explained that if Eden really wants to help her father, she'll stay with Lauren and Michael because River knows they'll care for her. Lauren then introduced her to Noah. Noah attempted to be friendly, but Eden called him a loser. "Good luck with the whole psycho bitch from hell act," Noah snapped as he stormed off. After, Eden told Lauren that she'd consider attending school if Michael could get her father out of jail.... Michael visited River in jail. River declared that he didn't want Eden visiting him in prison. Michael also offered to find a better lawyer for him, but River turned him down. Michael returned home, where he and Lauren worried about Eden. Kevin soon arrived and revealed that he believed it was Jeff who'd alerted the FBI about River. Meanwhile, Jeff warned Gloria not to doublecross him.
Noah complained to Sharon and Phyllis about Eden's frosty behavior. The ladies stated that some girls are just immature and it escalated into a name-calling match between the two of them. Noah quickly left while Sharon defended her marriage to Jack. Phyllis wasn't so sure it would last. In Mexico, Jack and Adam continued their quest to get information on Victor. They ran into a little girl who knew where Victor had lived. She brought him
to his home, which was a little shack. Adam found Victor's journal in it. Victor wrote about someone called Tony Amatto.... Phyllis called Ashley and was told that Ash was overseas.... Victor's driver came to take him home, but he wanted to stay in the gallery. "Sabrina, I'm ready for you now," he said aloud. He began to yell for her; Nick heard his cries from upstairs in the Restless Style office. Downstairs, Victor saw the vision of Sabrina appear before him. "I've been waiting for you," he said, but the
Sabrina image told him to go back. "I won't go back," Victor sobbed. "There's nothing left for me without you." Victor then collapsed, just as Nick entered the gallery.
Thursday
In Mexico, Jack and Adam continued their quest to get the goods on Victor. Adam blamed the Newmans for Skye's death and said he wanted to see them suffer. "You may just get that opportunity," Jack replied. Adam was surprised when Jack revealed that he and Hope had been friends. Jack then filled in Adam on his sordid history with Victor and blamed Newman for ruining his one-time marriage to Nikki. Abbott believed that they had enough information to write a story about Victor. Adam suggested they get someone to forge Victor's handwriting so they could tell his story in "his" own words.
After Nick found Victor collapsed in the gallery, Vic was rushed to the hospital. Nick filled in the doctors on his dad's medical history, including the fact that he suffered from epileptic seizures and gave the name of Victor's regular physician. Nick called Nikki to tell her the news. She and Victoria soon arrived at the hospital and Nick told them about how Victor had had the gallery cleared out and stated that he was getting his life in order. They were all concerned for Victor's well being. After, a doctor informed them that Victor collapsed because he hadn't been eating or sleeping and was dehydrated. The doc believed that Victor did this to himself.
A the coffeehouse, Heather wondered to Paul why Newman went south of the border. She explained that she wanted to know the truth for Adam's sake and still suspected that Victor was hiding something. Heather wondered if Paul was protecting Nikki and couldn't understand why he wasn't pursuing the case. Suddenly, Heather suffered a dizzy spell. Paul took her to the hospital, where she was told that she had Epstein-Barr. Heather was alarmed when the doctor explained that she might feel the symptoms for six weeks. Heather was surprised when she saw Nick and learned that Victor was also in the hospital. Before leaving, Paul made Heather promise that she'd relax. Of course, she got out of bed the second he exited her hospital room.
Michael was furious at the idea that Jeffrey turned in River. Lauren
reminded him that Kevin wasn't 100 percent sure that Jeff was responsible, but Michael was certain that Bardwell indeed called the Feds. Meanwhile, Eden freaked out when Michael told her that since he didn't represent River, he couldn't get him out of jail. He explained that he offered to get his dad a better lawyer and River refused. Eden still insisted that Michael do something to get their dad out of prison. After, Michael paid Jeff a visit and asked Jeff if he'd ratted out River, but Jeff denied it. Michael wasn't sure he believed him, even after Gloria jumped to her husband's defense. Jeff gave in and confessed that he'd called the Feds. Michael was furious; Jeff reminded him that River was a fugitive. Glo concluded that Jeff did it because he was jealous over her spending the night with River, even though nothing had happened.... Lauren again tried to bond with Eden, but all the teen wanted to do was see her father. Lauren suggested they wait until Michael came home. Lauren then received a call that River was being moved to
Michigan that night. She and Eden went to the jail, where Eden broke down at the idea of River being taken from her. River tried to make her see the positive side of living with Lauren and Michael.... Gloria apologized to Michael for Jeff's actions. Michael wondered if part of her wanted to get revenge on River for abandoning her, but she denied this. Michael then got a call from Victor in the hospital.... Lauren led Eden away from River; when
they were alone, Lauren implored River to tell Eden the truth, that he's been accused of murder. River insisted that he was innocent. Later, Gloria went to the prison to say farewell and admitted that Jeff was the one who'd turned him in. She was shocked to learn that River had a daughter, and cried over the fact that he'd raised Eden but left Michael.
Victoria and Nikki were in Victor's room when he awakened. Victor again blamed Nikki for Sabrina's death and demanded that they leave the room. They met up with Nick in the waiting area and discussed Victor's situation. Victoria thought Victor should be admitted to the psych ward, but Nikki disagreed. Nick supported both of their opinions and couldn't decide who he sided with.... Heather stopped by Victor's room, but he told her to leave. She refused and demanded to talk with him about the way he was treating Adam. Victor yelled at her to go away. Heather still wouldn't budge and Victor threatened to press charges. Paul ran into Nikki in the hospital and comforted her. He assured her that it wasn't her fault that Sabrina got into the car with David. Paul then found Heather badgering Victor and led her back to her room. Heather continued to insist that Vic was hiding something. Paul again urged her to listen to the doctor and take it easy.... Victoria
spoke with a psychiatrist about examining her father.... Michael visited Victor; he demanded that Michael get him out or else he'll press charges against the hospital.
Friday
At the hospital, Victoria again stated that she believed Victor needed to be
institutionalized. The psychiatrist agreed to examine Victor to see if he
was capable of caring for himself. Nikki still didn't agree with Victoria,
but Vicky wanted what was best for her father. In his hospital room, Victor
told Michael that he won't talk to a doctor. Michael urged him to see if he
was suffering from something serious. Victor refused to be committed
and demanded that Baldwin get him released. After, the
doctor questioned Victor about his recent activities, but Victor called him
condescending. "I want to be left alone," he stated, but the doc refused to
leave. After, the doc told the Newmans that he suspected Victor was
suffering from depression and it could take weeks to find a combination of
medications that worked for him. Victoria didn't think Victor would let them
take care of him in the interim; the doctor agreed to contact the court.
At the jail, Eden broke down as she bid River farewell. Eden pleaded with
the guard to have a few more minutes with her dad, and he agreed. River
reminded her that Lauren and Michael are good people. Michael then got a
call from Lauren, who told him to get right down to the prison.
Phyllis and Sharon talked about Victor. Sharon planned to call Jack; Phyllis
told her that she doesn't think Jack is really in Los Angeles. Phyl then
revealed that she called Forrester and learned that Ashley was in Europe.
After, Sharon made some calls to track down Jack. Later, Noah went to call a
friend, but Sharon stopped him and gave him the news about Victor. Noah was
angry with her for not telling him sooner.... Phyllis went to the hospital.
Nick admitted that he was caught in the middle between what Victoria and
Nikki wanted for Victor. Victoria and Nikki continued to argue over what to
do with him. Phyllis made Nick see that having Victor committed could help
him, which infuriated Nikki. Later, Nick and Victoria paid Victor a visit,
but Vic was less than thrilled to see them. Nick explained that he
understands what it's like to lose someone — in his case Cassie — and he didn't want to see Victor suffer. Victor doubted that medications would help him. Nick urged him to stay in the facility for 72 hours to get some help.
Victoria begged him to do it for her. Victor finally agreed to it. An
orderly named Travis arrived to move him.
Meantime in a Mexican bar, Jack and Adam discussed how to make Victor's
notebook look like a diary. Jack asked if anyone in the bar knew of Tony
Amatto, the man Victor mentioned in his journal. The bartender suddenly
demanded that they leave and threatened to attack them with a broken bottle.
Jack wasn't fazed; he just believed that this proved Victor had something to
hide. They then left Mexico.... Later, Sharon got in touch with Jack and
thought she caught him in his lie. Jack surprised her by actually putting
Ashley on the phone.
Adam arrived at the hospital and was surprised to hear about Victor. Phyllis
urged Nick not to get into any arguments with his brother. Phyllis then told
Nick that she thinks Jack and Sharon are having some marital problems...
Adam told Jack about Victor being in the psych ward. "This story gets better
and better," Jack stated.... Nikki was devastated about Victor. Another
orderly soon arrived to transfer him and the gang realized that Travis
didn't exist and Victor was missing. They realized that Victor tricked them.
