Amber and Jill were at the GCAC answering a reporter's questions about how Amber saved Jill's life during the fire. During the interview, the reporter
recognized Amber from EXTREME CATWALK, and decided that her saving Jill was
an even bigger story since she was Jill's daughter-in-law. Jill thanked
Amber for saving her life, and Amber hinted to Jill that perhaps she could
remind Cane she wasn't such a bad person.

Back at the Chancellor mansion, Jill told Cane that Amber was the one who
saved her. Cane couldn't believe it. Jill wondered if she should get Amber a
present, but her mind kept wandering because she was still thinking about
Ji Min. Cane offered to stay home with her, but Jill insisted that he
go to Lily's party.

At Indigo, Adrian and Colleen were flirting and decorating for the big
divorce party. Devon showed up with his date, Roxanne, and shortly after
Lily arrived and chatted with Colleen. While in conversation, she thought
she saw Daniel in the room, but realized her mind was playing tricks on her. To keep her mind from wondering too much, Lily went to meet Devon's date. After giving her the seal of approval, she and Devon headed over to laugh and dance with Neil and Karen on the dance floor. The smiles only lasted for a few minutes, however, before Lily was back at the bar drinking cranberry juice and
having flashbacks to the day she and Daniel signed the divorce papers.
Colleen quickly trotted over and tried to encourage her to mingle with some
of the cute guys, and before Lily could say no, Cane walked into the club
and the two exchanged smiles. "I think we're the hottest divorcees in the
place," Cane flirted, adding that what didn't kill them would make them
stronger. Lily agreed, and the two toasted to moving on.

Meanwhile, at the coffee shop, Paul overheard J.T. talking to Victoria on
the phone. Paul asked J.T. if Victoria was still living with him, along with
a myriad of other questions. J.T. wondered why Paul had so many questions
about his relationship with Victoria, and Paul suggested that there could be
potential problems down the line since Victoria had Newman money and J.T.
didn't — not to mention that J.T. might not be the father of Victoria's baby. J.T. said he would love the child as if it were his own even if it wasn't,
but Paul warned J.T. that it wouldn't be that easy. J.T. became slightly
defensive and asked Paul if he was working for Victor and trying to get info about he and Victoria's relationship. Paul said that wasn't the case, and ultimately suggested that J.T. slow down so he wouldn't get hurt. Later, Paul went to Indigo with Maggie. The two of them ran into Heather,
who was looking for Cane since he'd invited her. Soon after, J.T. showed up
to the party with Victoria. Paul asked him why he was there when he was
supposed to be working. J.T. told him that nothing was going on, so he
decided to leave. Paul immediately became angry and accused J.T. of being
irresponsible. J.T. was offended, adding he was tired of being Paul's "errand boy" and doing all of the work while Paul took all the credit. When Paul said plenty of guys would be happy to take
J.T.'s place, J.T. sniped that he was sick of never getting a break. Victoria and Maggie tried to calm them down, but before their tempers settled, Paul fired J.T. and J.T. walked out with Victoria following him.

Amber, Kevin and Daniel sat at the apartment while Kevin repeatedly tried to contact Jana at the hospital. When Kevin switched the subject to Lily's
party, Daniel was surprised that Kevin would consider going somewhere to
celebrate the divorce. Kevin explained that Colleen had invited him, and
that he couldn't say no. Amber suggested she and Daniel crash the party, but
Daniel declined, saying it was a bad idea. After a lot of pleading, Amber
convinced Daniel to tag along. As soon as they arrived to crash the bash,
they caught Lily and Cane in a steamy kiss.

Tuesday

While Colleen and Adrian chatted and made out by the bar at Lily's party,
Colleen spotted Daniel and Amber. She walked over to them, asked why they
were there, then demanded that they leave. Amber noted that Indigo was a
public place and that she and Daniel didn't have to leave. Colleen
threatened to get Neil if they didn't.
A few feet away, Lily and Cane were left breathless after their hot kiss.
Lily hopped up from their table to get some air and grabbed Colleen to tell
her the scoop. Once alone, Lily dished that she and Cane had kissed and that
it was "forgot-my-name" good. However, Lily claimed that Cane wasn't her type, and that the kiss was probably just a one-time thing. "No biggie. No harm, no
foul," she reasoned. After she finished gushing about the kiss, Colleen told her that Daniel and Amber had crashed the party. Lily freaked out and asked Colleen if Daniel and Amber had seen the kiss, but Colleen wasn't sure.

Meanwhile, Neil and Karen sat and joked at the bar. They eventually migrated
to a cozy corner outside of the club and chatted underneath the stars while
Neil pointed out a few of his favorite constellations. Just as they were
about to kiss, another couple came outside and wrecked the moment. After
snapping back to reality, Karen decided to call it a night, and she and Neil
said an awkward goodbye.

At the Newman offices, Devon and Roxanne sat in his office while Devon made
an important business call. Once the call was over, the two hung out for a
while before Roxanne headed back to the party. Later, Neil showed up and
asked Devon why he'd left his date. Devon told him he had to handle some
business and asked Neil why he'd left Karen. Neil said that Karen wasn't his
date, but Devon told him that it was okay if he liked her. Neil could tell
what Devon was thinking, and told him that it was okay to say it — "She's not Dru." Devon agreed, and they both headed back to the party. Once there, Neil realized that Karen hadn't left, and they shared the kiss that they'd missed earlier.

Back at the party, Lily told Colleen that she wasn't feeling well, and that
she thought something might have been in her drink. Before they could figure
out what happened, Neil came over and noticed that Lily looked strange. Neil
asked Lily if she'd been drinking, and Lily claimed that she had mistakenly
grabbed the wrong glass. Neil was concerned, but Lily promised that she
hadn't been drinking and wouldn't because she knew from his experience how
serious drinking could get.

Daniel eventually made his way over to Lily while she was by the bar. "Ever wish we could call a do-over?" he asked. Lily admitted that she did, but that she knew they couldn't. Daniel tried to reminisce on their prom night and wedding day, and even though Lily humored him, she reminded him that all of the good memories were in the past and that things were different now. After chatting with Daniel, Lily told Colleen that she realized how wrong it was to throw a party to celebrate the divorce.

Once Cane found his way back inside, he sat down at the piano to play a few
notes. Amber walked over to him and asked if he'd heard about how she saved
his mom. Cane acted unaffected, so Amber changed the subject saying she didn't mean to crash the party and that she was just hanging out with Daniel. She threw in that Daniel was miserable after seeing he and Lily's kiss. Cane grew annoyed and asked Amber what she wanted. When she said another chance, Cane responded with, "We're over. We're finished. I don't want you. I don't even like you."

Amber ended the night in a pity party with Daniel and Kevin. The three
discussed how great it would be if the missing money was found before their
meeting with Heather. Just as they'd shrugged the idea off as a fantasy,
Heather walked over to their table and told them that the missing money had
burned in a fire — serving as proof that they weren't holding on to it.

Wednesday

Jill was furious when she read a newspaper article saying that Ji Min was harboring the stolen money. Cane tried to calm her down, and Katherine told Jill that, despite her personal feelings about Ji Min, Kay believed that he had really loved Jill. Cane suggested that they take a walk to get some fresh air, but Jill said that she wanted to be alone. When she returned, Jill asked
Katherine if she was a fool for believing Ji Min. "He's gone," Jill lamented, "and I don't even know who he was."

At the Abbott mansion, Jack checked an Internet poll saying 50 percent of
the community believed that the tape of he and Ji Min was fabricated, and 50
percent believed it was authentic. Jack told Sharon that he needed better
odds since the Senate Ethics Committee was breathing down his neck. Sharon
said that she understood why he did what he did, but that he should come
clean since the truth was out. As calls from the press continued to come in,
Jack continued to lie about the scandal. He saw the pain in Sharon's eyes
and apologized to her. "I just wish you didn't make lying look so easy," she
replied.

While Michael strategized with Amber, Kevin and Daniel about their legal
troubles, Nick enjoyed a surprise call from Phyllis. Once off the phone Nick
told Michael that the most important thing to Phyllis was focusing on
Daniel's case. Michael suggested that they band together to get the corrupt
federal agent who kidnapped Cane and had Amber put away. Michael said that he
could make a deal to get immunity for Daniel, Amber and Kevin if Cane came
forward to testify as well. When Cane arrived and Michael explained his
plans, Cane didn't believe that he should do anything to help them get off
without punishment. Michael and Nick finally persuaded him to put his
personal feelings aside, and Cane agreed to testify.

At Crimson Lights, Nick approached Heather, asking if she could help him
regain his right to visit Phyllis in jail. Heather remained cold and told
Nick that he must have done something worthy of losing his visitation
rights. Nick offered to put in a good word for her with the new DA, and
Heather accused him of trying to bribe her. When Daniel joined the
conversation he was aggravated and emotional. "How does a servant of the
people have no compassion?" he asked. When Heather walked away, Nick told
Daniel to let it go and suggested that he go see Phyllis.

When Daniel showed up at the prison, Phyllis was overjoyed to see him. When
she asked him how he was doing, Daniel told her that they'd worked out a
deal and that he wouldn't be doing jail time. When she heard the news, she
was brought to tears. When Phyllis asked about Nick, Daniel said that Nick
was miserable without her and that he hated not being able to visit her. He
also told her that Nick still planned on visiting her somehow.

Later, while Heather was looking over paperwork at the GCAC, Michael
approached her and told her that he wanted to make a deal. When he said that
the deal involved immunity for Amber, Kevin and Daniel, Heather told him
that their conversation was over. Michael quickly informed her that the US
Attorney's office was very interested in hearing his clients' testimonies.
Heather accused him of trying to strong-arm her, but Michael called the
US Attorney's office anyway.

When Michael returned home he told Gloria and Kevin that Heather agreed to
two years of probation and 90 hours of community service. To celebrate, they
had champagne and caviar. Before they could take a few sips, Gloria began
scheming about ways to release the video footage of Jack and Ji Min. Michael
reminded her that Kevin's breaking into the Jabot system to get the footage
was already a felony. He yelled at Gloria and Kevin, saying that he wanted one day where he didn't have to worry about getting them out of trouble. Later, Gloria and Kevin watched the footage and Gloria said there had
to be a way to anonymously release it. Kevin tried to tell her it was a bad idea, but Gloria wasn't ready to let it go. "Let the public see what they've been missing," she insisted. "They deserve to know who the real Jack Abbott is."

Thursday

When Jack found out that Phyllis could have visitors, Sharon told him that
it was fine if he wanted to go see her. Jack said that he needed to go talk
some things out with her about his scandal. Sharon said she understood,
since she and Jack had already done all the talking they could do about his lying to the public. Before Jack left the house, Sharon told him she loved him, then she left to meet Brad for dinner.

When Jack got to the jail, he told Phyllis how great she looked. "How are
you doing, really?" he asked once they stopped joking around. "I'm
miserable," she said. Jack told her that he was fine, but Phyllis called him
a liar. She told him that she'd heard about Jabot on the news. Jack tried to
explain why he did what he did, but Phyllis said that he didn't need to
explain. Jack told her that Sharon thought he should publicly admit what
he'd done wrong. Phyllis said that she agreed with Sharon, and that no
prosecutor would want to put him away for coming clean. Jack said that he
didn't want to confess because he knew that Victor was behind the whole
scandal, and he didn't want to give him the satisfaction.

Later, Victor went to visit Phyllis, and she was surprised to see him. He
asked if she needed anything. Phyllis said she was fine, but could use a
bubble bath and an early release. Victor said he knew she had applied for
the early release program and had been rejected. He said that he could get
the decision turned around if she agreed to testify against Jack. Phyllis
said that she couldn't betray a friend, but Victor told her he was sure
she'd think about it.

When Sharon met Brad for dinner, Brad told her that he'd seen her on TV.
Sharon asked how she did, and Brad told her she was doing a good job of
playing the supportive wife role. Sharon said she wasn't acting, and that
she was a supportive wife. Brad said that he thought Sharon was afraid to be
alone with him because their connection was stronger than any she'd ever
experienced. Sharon told him that he was making her uncomfortable, and that
if he didn't stop she was going to leave. Brad said that he understood why
she would be afraid, because real love was a scary thing. Sharon told him
that she needed him to stick to their agreement and be a friend, especially
since she was going through such a rough time. Brad said he couldn't stand
by and watch Jack hurt her, and he didn't want to just be her friend. "We're the couple," he said. "You and I are the real couple. Not you and Nick. Not you and Jack." When Sharon returned home, Jack told her that he planned to come clean, and they celebrated by making love.

Meanwhile, Gloria barged into Kevin's apartment saying how excited she was
that he wasn't going to jail, and that Jack was being crucified in the media
and in the eyes of the public. She told Kevin that they wouldn't have to
worry about getting the videotape out because they wouldn't need to. Gloria
said that the only reason that she wasn't completely happy with Jack's
impending demise was because she'd always thought Sharon was such a nice
girl. She said she was offended that, during a press conference, Jack said
he put family first. She reminded Kevin how poorly Jack treated her during
her marriage to John and after his death. Once Gloria and Kevin were at dinner, Gloria spotted Sharon and began to think about her again. She said she knew Sharon was a good person, but she was still just a person who was married to Jack. After having a series of flashbacks of Jack yelling at her and kicking her out of the Abbott mansion, Gloria had a change of heart and thought that, perhaps, she should figure out a way to release the tape after all. When Kevin left the table, Gloria called Victor and suggested that they meet to discuss facilitating Jack's downfall.

Friday

Sharon and Jack awoke from a night of passionate lovemaking. Later, they
went downstairs to have breakfast with Noah. While they were eating, Nick
stopped by and asked Sharon if Noah could skip school to go with him to see
Phyllis. Sharon agreed, but suggested that she go with them.

At the prison, when the warden asked Nick to go wait in the lobby, Noah begged Nick to obey him so he wouldn't get thrown into the slammer too. Nick became furious that the warden had scared Noah, and he refused to leave until he told Noah what was going on. When Noah saw Phyllis, he didn't think he could hug her, but Phyllis told him it was okay. The warden finally allowed Nick to see Phyllis after he told him how he'd lost his memory, and that he and Phyllis had only reconnected the night before she went to prison. When Nick and Phyllis saw each other, they
embraced, and Sharon walked out of the room. After they hugged, Phyllis told
Nick that Victor had come to see her and told her he could get her into
the work release program. When she told Nick that Victor's one condition was her
testifying against Jack, Nick told her that if Victor could get her out,
he'd have to do it regardless of her testifying against Jack or not.

Meanwhile, Gloria was disappointed to see that Jack's scandal was no longer
on the front page of the newspapers. Kevin assured her that Jack would be
brought down through the Senate investigation, but Gloria said she couldn't wait that long. "This is our chance to pay him back for everything he's done to us," she railed. Kevin agreed to give her the footage, but only if his name was never attached to her plot for Jack's destruction. Gloria then called Victor for a meeting. When Michael walked in, he heard Gloria saying goodbye to Victor, and he instantly knew what Gloria was planning to do. Michael urged her not to do it, especially since she and Kevin both had a history of legal trouble. Kevin told Michael there was no way that the DVD could be traced back to them, and Michael reminded them that what he did to get that footage was a felony. "This insanity is going to stop now," he vowed.

At the Newman offices, Brad came to see Victor to apologize for causing his
family so much grief over the years. Victor told him that words were cheap. Brad claimed that he had changed, but Victor told him he had to prove his metamorphosis was real before he changed his mind about him.

After seeing Victor, Brad went to see Colleen at work. He apologized to her
as well. He told her it was the first time he would be able to celebrate the upcoming Yom Kippur without being in danger, and he asked her if she would go to the synagogue with him. Colleen told him that she didn't think he would ever change, and that he shouldn't try to make things right with her just because it was a religious holiday. She told Brad he had to let her make her own decisions, and that even though she was still angry with him, she would accompany him to the synagogue.

Back at Victor's office, Gloria met with him about the evidence she had to
nail Jack. She told Victor that whatever happened, Michael and Kevin were
not involved. After she left, Victor started to watch the DVD, but he was
interrupted when Nick walked in and demanded that he pull whatever strings
he had to get Phyllis out of prison as soon as possible.

When Gloria returned home, she sat down with Kevin while he cleaned out the
hard drive on his computer. When Michael got home, he asked Kevin what he
was doing. Kevin tried to hide it, but Michael saw enough to figure it out. He
asked Kevin if Gloria had actually gone through with it, and when Kevin said
that she had, Michael asked why he didn't stop her. "I'm really, really
sorry," Kevin responded. Michael then poured water all over Kevin's lap.
"I'm really, really, really sorry," said a sarcastic Michael.
