Young and Restless Recaps

Y&R Week of October 25, 2010

Monday

Jack was furious with Phyllis for putting out a scathing story on Diane in Restless Style. However, Phyllis didn't have any regrets for running the story. Jack called her selfish and self-absorbed, but Phyllis wasn't fazed and was certain that Diane had an agenda. "She is using your son again," Phyllis warned. "Now she knows not to mess with us." Jack explained that he didn't want Diane to get in the middle of his and Phyllis's blossoming relationship, but Phyllis stood by her actions. Their argument led to them kissing; Jack then cleared off her office desk with one swoop of his arm and they did it right there at Restless Style. Meanwhile, Diane defended herself to Tucker, but couldn't say that Phyllis had actually lied about her. "I'm no longer that woman described in the article," she insisted, but Tucker accused her of having lied about her work experience. "I don't trust you," he told her. Diane was hurt and angry and threatened to tell Ashley about their tryst. However, Tucker was sure that Ashley would believe him over Diane. Later, Phyllis and Jack basked in the afterglow of their steamy encounter, but were interrupted by a furious Diane. "You disgust me — both of you!" she spat, grabbing a tissue box and tossing it at them. She called Phyllis a liar, but Phyllis defended her story and called her rival a bad mother. The ladies lunged for each other, but Jack got in the middle and prevented a catfight from ensuing. Diane informed Jack that she lost her job. He offered to help her get a new job, but Diane replied that she and Kyle were out of his life, and blamed Phyllis for her decision. Jack was devastated, but Phyllis urged him to wait until Kyle started missing him and Diane felt obliged to bring him to Jack. After, Diane told Kyle that she'd decided not to work for Tucker, but would find something better. Alone, Diane wondered how much worse her life could get.

At Crimson Lights, Daniel left a message for Abby saying that he's been thinking about her. Meantime, Vance told Abby and Victoria that they had to meet with a mediator. Victoria stated that they want Beauty Of Nature. Abby didn't think it was a good idea, but Victoria urged her to look at the bigger picture. Abby wanted to start her own company, but Victoria pointed out that Beauty Of Nature is worth a lot. Vance agreed with Victoria that this was the best move. Abby reluctantly signed on to their plan. Later, Abby met up with Daniel at Gloworm and confided that she wasn't sure that she could trust her sister.... Victoria went to see Tucker and revealed that she's about to be in control of Beauty Of Nature — and suggested a merger. Tucker was intrigued, especially when she said that the deal would involve her being CEO. "Bring me Beauty Of Nature and then we'll see," he answered.

Victor called Nick and informed him that the wedding has been postponed and that Nikki is now in rehab. Nick hurried to meet up with him. Meggie called Victor to see how Nikki was doing and he revealed that Nikki is now getting help. Meggie pretended to be pleased with this. After, Deacon lamented to Meggie that their scheme was now in trouble. A calm Meggie assured him that they were now up to Phase Two of their plan.... A shaken Nikki sat quietly on her bed in Solidarity House. Victor went to see her and she sadly whispered, "You must hate me." "I don't hate you," he said gently and asked how she began drinking again. She admitted that most of what had happened with Deacon was a blur, but that she fell off the wagon about a month before. She regretted having lied to him about it. "I believe in you," he told her. "You've got to believe in yourself." Later, Nick arrived and Victor noted that they needed to be supportive of her. Meggie also came to visit and asked Victor to give Nikki her best. A tearful Nikki met with Nick and was embarrassed to have him see her like that. He asked what caused her to drink and she didn't know why she'd been craving alcohol. She then admitted that she'd turned to Deacon for help. Nick was shocked and disgusted. Nikki still couldn't believe that Victor was supporting her. Nick held her as she broke down. Victor entered her room and embraced her. She felt badly that they weren't getting married, but Victor believed that they were both where they were supposed to be. He promised to be with her every step of the way.... Victoria ran into Nick in the coffeehouse, but Nick didn't tell her that Nikki was in rehab.... Meggie stopped by Deacon's place and he told her that their deal was over. Meggie instructed him to shut up and listen so that he could get the money needed to see his son. She then ordered him to check into rehab with Nikki, so that he can sneak booze in for her. Deacon didn't want to do this, but Meggie was certain that this was the only way that they could break up Victor and Nikki. He relented and agreed to do his part.

Tuesday

Nick went to the Solidarity House to see Nikki. Nick spoke with his father on the phone and admitted that he wasn't comfortable keeping Nikki's situation from Victoria, but Victor promised to tell her the news. Meggie gave Victor some coffee and promised that she'd look after the ranch while he was at his hearing. She pretended to be concerned about Nikki's well-being.... Deacon checked into the Solidarity House. Nick warned him to stay away with Nikki, but Deacon insisted that he just wanted to get better. Nikki emerged from her room and was shocked to see Sharpe there. He insisted that him being there was just a coincidence.

Abby and Victoria went with Vance to their hearing, while Victor arrived with Michael. Victoria told Vance that while Abby isn't thrilled with going after Beauty Of Nature, she's on board. Victor wanted a moment alone with his daughter and took Victoria outside. He informed her that Nikki is in rehab. Victoria was understandably upset by the news. Victor implored her to drop the suit. Victoria was angry with him for not telling her sooner and believed that he'd told her at that moment to rattle her. She angrily returned to the mediation room and urged Abby to stay strong. Later, Vance asked for the $3 billion. Victoria backed Vance; so did Abby, but she hesitated for a moment before doing so. Victor gave them his final offer and urged them to come to their senses. Abby gasped when she read the huge number and asked to take a five minute break. However, Victoria stated that this wasn't about money.

At Sharon's place, Noah sang to Faith. Sharon arrived and he promised that he'd figure out a game plan for his life soon. After, Noah played his latest song for Devon. Devon was impressed, but suggested that he play the tune with a little more edge. Noah obliged and Devon stated that they needed to lay down some tracks. Noah agreed to think about it. Sharon listened from inside and smiled proudly. Nick stopped by and found Sharon hanging up Halloween decorations. She grinned and went on about how proud she was of Noah, and how she loved having both of their kids at home. "Everything's falling into place," she smiled. Noah later told his parents about Devon's offer. Nick suggested that Noah live in the tack house and Sharon added that Nick could move into her guest room. Noah turned them down, explaining that he wanted to live near his friends downtown. Nick thought it was too soon to move in with Sharon, but agreed to stay for lunch.

Ashley confided to Tucker about how unpredictable Abby was acting and felt badly that Abby had accused him of cheating with Diane. Later, Abby called Ashley and told her that Victor had raised the offer. She wasn't sure what to do, but Ashley reminded her that it was Abby's fight and not Victoria's. Victoria found her sister in the courthouse hallway and asked if she was going to accept the money, then told Abby about Nikki being in rehab, and how Victor used the news as a weapon to get his way. Victoria warned that their father was trying to divide and conquer them. "Don't let Dad split us up now," she urged. Victor was confident that Abby would accept his offer. Michael asked Vance for proof that Victor had misused Abby's trust fund money. Abby and Victoria returned and turned down the money. "I'm so sorry, Dad," Abby whispered, struggling not to cry.

Jack stopped by the ranch to see Nikki and Meggie informed him that she was in rehab. He poured himself a drink and noted that Meggie has made herself at home. Meggie explained that she was just trying to make life easier for Victor. Jack didn't question her any further and left. After, Meggie straightened out some knickknacks and chuckled to herself.... In rehab, Nikki thought back to finding herself in bed with Deacon and asked what he was really doing there. Deacon sadly said that he needed to turn his life around and thought that things would be easier for both of them if they had a friend to lean on. "You're not my friend; you never were," Nikki spat. "We were drinking buddies." She didn't want to be distracted by him. He agreed to leave her alone, but said that he's there if she needs him.... Meggie relaxed with a glass of wine and was pleased to get a text from Deacon saying, "I'm in."... Jack told Ashley and Tucker that Nikki is in rehab. Ashley wondered why every woman Victor loves ends up in a horrible tragedy. "You actually want an answer to that question?" Jack cracked. Ash stepped away and Tucker told her about Abby's drama. Jack feared that they'd lose their bid for Beauty Of Nature.

At the hearing, Vance gave Victor a counter offer: his daughters would drop their suit in exchange for Beauty Of Nature. "How dare you," Victor growled at Victoria.

Wednesday

At Gloworm, Nick and Sharon informed Noah that Nikki has been drinking again and is in rehab. They spied Adam and Skye and Noah became furious. Nick assured his son that Adam would stay away from Sharon, but Noah didn't believe it. Sharon tried to change the conversation and offered to help Noah find a place, but Noah turned them down. Nick asked what type of job his son wanted and Noah replied that he wants to be a musician. Sharon noted that musicians don't make a lot of money, but Noah was confident that he would succeed.... Adam told Skye that he's not interested in her or the Newman Fund. "What you want has a big sign that says 'Unavailable,'" Skye snarked, eyeing Sharon. "She'll never be yours." Noah continue to give Adam the stink eye, but Nick asked him to stay away from his uncle. Sharon revealed that Adam saved Faith's life in the storm and reminded Noah that Adam had saved his life, as well. Noah was still angry with him for stealing Faith and couldn't understand why his mom was so forgiving. Sharon flashed back to when Adam had assured her that he'd leave her and her family alone. Nick didn't really believe that Adam would stay away from her, but Sharon thought that his word was good. Noah was ready to take down Adam if he came near Sharon, but Nick implored him not to deal with Adam. Noah got up and left. Nick agreed with their son that Sharon wasn't Adam's caretaker . Sharon asked him to drop it.... At the G.C.A.C., Adam called the bank to make a cash withdrawal of $100,000. Skye returned to their suite and found Adam leaving with a packed bag. He stated that he was taking a "permanent vacation" from her. Skye was certain that he'd be back. "You don't know me anymore," he replied. Skye then found his crumpled his withdrawal statement on the floor and stared at it in disbelief. After, Skye ran into Sharon and told her that Adam stole money from their hedge fund and was about to leave town. She asked Sharon to get Adam to stay in town or else he'd go to jail.

At Crimson Lights, Chloe and Kevin discussed Halloween and an upcoming party. She encouraged him to dress up and invite Allison, but he admitted that he's not into Allison. "She plays the tuba; she's not my type," he sighed. His phone rang and he went to leave; Chloe demanded to know where he was going, but he just joked that he had a secret plot to take over the world. After, Chloe followed him as he brought a bag to Jimmy's. She sat at the bar and watched, confused, as Kevin met with Hogan. Hogan gripped his hand hard as he reminded Kevin that he owed him money. Kevin winced in pain, but from Chloe's perspective, they were tenderly holding hands. Hogan instructed Kevin to tell Jeffrey that he owed him 10 grand — or else. He then left and Kevin exited. "Oh my God, Kevin's gay!" Chloe exclaimed aloud.

At the hearing, Victor called his daughters' proposal to get Beauty Of Nature "outrageous." Victoria reminded him that she was the one who turned BoN into a success, but Victor refused to let her get her hands on it. Michael stated that his client couldn't accept the offer. Vance asked for access to Newman's books to see what Victor has been spending the company's money on. Michael refused, but the judge agreed to consider Vance's request. Vance and the ladies stepped out and Michael urged Victor to make a counter offer. "Otherwise you will end up in court," he warned, noting that it would cost him a lot in legal fees. Victor still didn't want to make an offer. "Think about what this is doing to your family, to Nikki," Michael pointed out, but Victor insisted that her relapse had nothing to do with him. He was furious with Victoria for being so spiteful. In the hallway, Abby feared what would happen if they lost, but Vance was certain that they'd get a "nice chunk of change." Victoria reminded Abby that they were doing this to get Victor to finally treat them with respect. Abby asked Vance what would happen if they got access to Victor's books and he replied that they'd find out what secrets he's been keeping. He had a feeling that they'd win big. Abby was afraid that Victor would never forgive them and that they'd push them too far. Later, they returned to the hearing and the judge agreed to let Victor's books be examined. Victor stood up and stormed out without saying a word. "It was not supposed to go down this way!" Abby told her sister and accused Victoria into turning it into her own personal battle with their father. Michael approached Victoria and said that he was sorry about the lawsuit and Nikki. He believed that the feud was putting a lot of pressure on the family. She asked if Michael was blaming her and he implored her to back down. Victoria refused and accused him of trying to use Nikki's relapse to manipulate her. Later, Michael and Victor met at Newman to discuss the case. Victor didn't want to have his books looked at and Michael promised to find a judge who would overturn the ruling. However, the forensic accountants arrived just then.

Noah went to Crimson Lights, where he ran into Jana. She was relieved that Kevin wasn't there, noting that he's always too polite with her and was happy to see a friendly face. Noah was also happy to see her. She asked if he was going to Victoria and Billy's Halloween party and he suggested that they meet there. Later, Abby joined Noah and filled him in on the hearing. "I made a huge mistake," she sighed, noting that she doesn't even care about BoN. Noah encouraged her to be true to herself and wondered if the trust fund would really give her her freedom.... Victoria went to Solidarity House to see Nikki. However, she was told that she's not permitted to visit. Nick arrived and Victoria believed that her father was punishing her. Nick admitted that he'd known about Nikki being in rehab for a while. Victoria was furious with her brother. "You and Dad can both go to hell," she spat. At Newman, Victor refused to let the accountants see his books.

Sharon found Adam at the bus station and called out to him.

Thursday

Sharon found Adam at the bus station and asked him not to leave. She warned that Skye said that if he left town, he'd be thrown in jail. Adam didn't think that he belonged in Genoa City and insisted that the money he'd taken was his. He also noted that he and Skye don't want the same things. Adam added that he planned to see Hightower's kid, Justin, and give him the money. "I've made a disaster of my life; this is one thing I can do right," he explained. Sharon was impressed. He acknowledged that he and Sharon would never have a relationship again and was ready to leave her alone. "What you and Nicholas have is so simple," he said. "You couldn't be more wrong," she told him.

Daniel and Abby made plans for the Halloween party. She hoped that it would get her mind off of the hearing. Billy met up with Abby at Crimson Lights and explained that he was picking up Delia and Reed at the coffeehouse.

Victoria and Nick returned to her home after going to Nikki's rehab. Victoria was furious with Victor for barring her from seeing her mother and with Nick for not telling her about Nikki's relapse. Victoria was certain that their dad wanted to ambush her and was annoyed when Nick defended Victor. Nick was surprised when she revealed that she'd asked for Beauty Of Nature and understood why Victor was so upset with her.

At the coffeehouse, Heather asked patrons to vote for her for District Attorney. Lauren entered with Fen and Heather asked how Lauren and Michael were spending Halloween. Lauren said that they were going to Billy and Victoria's party, but Heather wasn't going to attend with it being so close to the election. After, Lauren asked Billy if Jill was really coming to his party. Billy confirmed it and hoped they wouldn't get into a brawl. Jana and Liza entered with the kids. When Jana began to talk to Fen about Kevin, Lauren sent her son away. Jana tried to explain herself to Lauren and asked for a second chance. "I don't think I can give it to you," Lauren said. Later, Liza thanked Jana for doing such a good job and Jana shared that Halloween is her favorite holiday. Lauren suggested that she and Jana talk more at the party, and Jana was pleased.

Abby teased Billy about being "domesticated" and planned to never settle down. Billy asked her about Daniel and she explained that she and Daniel were just "hanging" and not dating. Billy had a feeling that she'd change her mind if she met the right man.... Daniel got the papers saying that he and Amber are officially divorced. Later, Amber went to Daniel's loft and he showed her his Van Gogh costume. She said that she was dressing as Lady Gaga. He showed her his divorce papers, but thought it was nice to be single and not have to worry about anyone else. Abby changed into her Gaga costume and told Daniel about her convo with Billy. Daniel was glad that she wasn't trying to pressure him into a commitment, but insisted that he's not using her.

Billy brought Reed home. Victoria and Nick were happy to see the little boy in his costume. Victoria told Billy about her bad day. Billy couldn't believe that Victor refused to let her see her mother. Billy wanted to talk to him, but Victoria asked him not to. He then planned to cancel the party, but she was eager to celebrate and shared that she'd gotten them Jim and Margaret costumes from FATHER KNOWS BEST. Meanwhile, Billy had gotten them Hef and a Bunny costume. "Hell, no," Victoria told him. They flipped for it — and Hef and the Bunny won.

Sharon ran into Nick at the coffeehouse. He asked why she seemed down and she simply said that it had been a long day. She thought back to last year's Halloween, which she'd celebrated with Adam. Meanwhile, Adam ripped up his bus ticket.

At Newman, Victor refused to let the accountants go over his books. After they left, Michael reminded Victor that Vance had a court order and could put Victor in prison. Victor was confident that he wouldn't go to jail because people owed him favors. "It's time to collect," he growled. Heather came to see him and said that she thinks she has a good shot at winning the election. Victor reminded her that he'd financed her campaign and asked her to keep him from having to show his books. Heather refused and he threatened to pull the plug on her campaign. Michael advised her not to say no to Victor Newman. Later, Michael called Victor's banker in case they needed cash to post his bond. Victor implored him to come up with a plan to keep him out of jail. Nick joined them and asked why Victor banned Victoria from seeing Nikki. Victor believed that Nikki had enough to deal with.... The police arrived at Newman and were about to arrest him, but Heather entered and demanded that they stop. "That was a very wise decision," Victor told her. "Let's just hope it doesn't come back to bite me," she answered.

Lauren went to Jimmy's for the party. Outside, lurked a woman in a nun's habit — it was Daisy!

Friday

At Billy and Victoria's Halloween party at Jimmy's, Michael caught his wife
looking over at Jana. Lauren revealed that Jana wanted to be friends again. "I think I can handle that," Lauren allowed but Michael advised against it. Later, Jana asked Lauren if they could talk about mending their friendship but Lauren said that she didn't think they could ever be close again. Oops. Daisy lurked nearby in a nun's habit.

J.T. was thrilled when Mac brought Reed for a visit. J.T. revealed that he
got a letter of acceptance for the police academy and can start in a month. Mac admitted she wasn't happy about his career choice and explained how she received an offer to work for a nonprofit organization in Washington D.C. that she felt would be good for both of them. J.T. still wanted to join the police force so Mac reluctantly supported his decision.

As Sharon and Nick handed out candy to trick-or-treaters, Adam, in a demon mask, hovered nearby. He approached the door and debated whether or not to knock. Instead he left her gloves on the front stoop and walked away. Nick had to make a run for more candy and as he left, found Sharon's gloves. She was shocked and after Nick was gone, she went outside and looked for Adam but didn't see anyone. She then called Adam and when he answered, she said, "You stayed." He admitted he didn't leave town because of her advice not to run.

Kevin was surprised when Chloe (flashbacking on the seemingly cozy encounter she witnessed between him and Hogan) summed up their relationship as "Will and Grace." Chloe later asked Rafe to aim his gaydar at Kevin and tell her if he's gay. Chloe spotted Hogan approach Kevin but couldn't hear that Kev was actually being threatened if Jeff didn't come with the missing 10 Gs. After Hogan walked away, Rage walked up with Chloe and announced that she had a question. "Are you having a fling with a guy?" Chloe asked and he insisted he isn't gay. Kevin then advised Chloe to forget that she saw him associating with Hogan, which only made her more curious.

Billy got the crowd's attention and shared how someone was murdered in the bar 80 years ago on Halloween and that his ghost comes back every year for revenge. As the lights ominously flashed, Lauren spotted Daisy and screamed. Lauren wailed that she saw Daisy so every ne started searching for her. Daisy couldn't be found and Lauren wondered if she hallucinated.

Daniel told Abby that he wanted them to date exclusively.... Chloe saw Hogan getting rough with Kevin and threatened to call the police. Hogan said he would be in touch and left. Kevin admitted that he was delivering gambling money to Hogan and was thousands short... J.T.'s doctor said he couldn't be a cop because he sustained heart damage from the electrical current and he can't do any strenuous work.... Adam informed the G.C.A.C. that he was checking out.... While going over the photos she took of the Halloween party, Phyllis found a picture Daisy. "She's back," Phyllis declared to Lauren.... Abby and Daniel came into his apartment and found a pregnant Daisy waiting. "Hi, Daddy," she greeted.
