Monday
Nick went to see Sharon in her GCAC suite and began kissing her. She pulled away and he apologized. After he left, Sharon called someone, asking if he could come over. After, Nick and Phyllis discussed Ashley's pregnancy. Nick found it hard to believe that just a few months ago, Victor didn't even want anything to do with his family. Nick then confessed to going to see Sharon. Phyllis wondered if he really meant it when he said "No more" regarding his ex-wife. Nick kissed Phyllis passionately and they fell into the shower together.... Jack came to see Sharon and she admitted that something was wrong with her. He asked if Nick was playing a game with her, but she said that he wasn't. Jack urged her to not be so hard on herself.
Billy was at Crimson Lights with Chloe. Chloe reminded him that he now has a daughter to be responsible for, and if he wanted to be in Cordelia's life, it was an all or nothing deal. Soon, Jill ran into them and was pleased to see them there with Delia.
The bomb exploded by the hotel where Katherine and Esther were being held prisoner. A tearful Esther searched among the remains for Kay, Amber and Gloria and found them all unconscious.... Jana, Michael and Daniel feared that Amber and Kevin were in over their heads in their search for Kay.... Esther called Jill and filled her in on the explosion. Jill was alarmed and headed toward the hospital, where Kay was being taken. At the site, Gloria and Amber came to and were okay. They watched in horror with Esther as Kay was put into an ambulance. At the hospital, Amber and Esther urged a still unconscious Kay to pull through. Meanwhile, a mildly injured Gloria called a media contact and offered to give an interview about how she was involved in an explosion and helped save Kay's life. Soon, Jill arrived and Esther told her that Katherine was alive.... Amber got in touch with Daniel, who informed her that he still hadn't heard from Kevin.... The media soon arrived at the hospital and a "humble" Gloria took credit for saving Kay. She also informed the reporters that Kay was alive and that La Chancellor is her "best friend." Meanwhile, Esther screamed hysterically at Jill when Jill was still dubious about Kay's identity. Jill thanked Amber for her willingness to save Kay's life, regardless of who the woman is. Daniel, Michael and Jana realized that they had no idea where Kevin was. Jana and Gloria panicked. Michael and Daniel went to see if they could get any information. Jana reamed out Amber for getting Kevin involved in the whole Mrs. Chancellor mess.
Jack and Sharon began to make love, but Sharon called out Nick's name. She apologized; Jack was very understanding... Nick and Phyllis enjoyed their "shower" together. Later, Sharon went to call Jack to tell him that he left his jacket with her, but dialed Nick instead. Phyllis answered and gleefully told her rival how amazing Nick had been that evening.
Clint took Kevin out of the trunk of his car and stuck him in the back seat with Annie and Roger. A drugged Kevin laughed and behaved like a little kid. Annie was concerned about taking a hostage across state lines.
Kay awakened in the hospital and introduced herself to the doctor as Katherine Chancellor — but didn't remember the explosion.... Michael and Daniel met up with Detective Wallace at the explosion site and asked if Kevin had been seen. Wallace hadn't seen him.... The doctor informed the gang that Kay was awake and was insisting that she was Katherine. Amber and Esther stated that the woman is indeed Kay.... Chloe and Billy arrived at the hospital, when they got the news about Esther. Chloe vowed to "shred" Cane when it came to fighting for custody of Delia. Esther was pleased when they informed her that they're getting married and raising their child together... The doctor told Kay that other than her having a mild concussion, nothing was wrong with her. She was then visited by Murphy, Pearl and Joe. "Do I know you?" she asked them.
Michael and Daniel returned from the explosion site and told Gloria and Jana that they were pretty sure that Kevin wasn't killed. Michael tried to reassure them that Kevin is a survivor. Later, Wallace showed them that photo of Kevin with the bomb.... Clint wanted to put Kevin back in the trunk, but Kevin begged him not to. Clint and Roger picked him up and stuffed him in, with Kevin screaming the entire time.
Tuesday
Nikki went to Nick and Phyllis's to watch Summer for them. She told them that she knows about Ashley being pregnant with Victor's child. Nick and Phyllis worried that Nikki was upset, but Nikki insisted that she wished Ashey and Victor well. Meanwhile, Victor and Ashley kissed and celebrated their happy news, calling the conception a "miracle." Ashley feared that something might happen with the baby, but an optimistic Victor looked forward to becoming a family. He asked Ashley to marry him. Later, Ashley
noticed that a knickknack was missing and asked the housekeeper,
Estella, if she'd seen it. She hadn't. Estella thought Ash was accusing her of stealing it, but Ashley insisted that she wasn't. Estella overheard Victor repeat his proposal and was surprised. Ashley told Victor that she wanted to talk about it later and just concentrate on being healthy. Victor understood.... Nikki flashed back to when Nick was born. In the present, she stroked Zapato and cried at all she'd lost.
Jill and Jack had coffee together at Crimson Lights. Jill spoke with Cane on the phone and told him that she still didn't believe the woman at the hospital was Katherine. After, Jack questioned her about why she didn't believe Kay was Kay and hinted that maybe Jill's relieved to have her mother out of her life. Jill was furious and stormed away.
At the hospital, Kay didn't recognize Murphy, Pearl or Joe. She asked Murphy to help her remember how she ended up in the hospital. Murphy filled her in on some of the happenings at the diner, but nothing rang a bell. However, she did remember who Phillip was when Murphy mentioned her late husband's name. After, Esther and Amber came to visit her and she knew who they were. Kay didn't understand why Jill wasn't there and asked if they
could tell her who Murphy is. Kay realized that she'd blanked out the past few months and demanded to know what had happened during that time. Amber explained that everyone thinks Kay's dead. Kay was hurt that Jill didn't think she was alive.
In the hospital lobby, Gloria was horrified when Detective Wallace showed her a photo of Kevin holding a bomb at the hotel. Esther vaguely recalled Kevin being outside the hotel with Clint. Billy told Wallace that Kevin is a psycho and demanded that the cop find Kevin before he hurt anyone else. Michael was angry with Billy for making that accusation against his brother. Chloe and Billy argued over Kevin's culpability; Chloe thought they should
get more facts first.
Billy went to see Kay and she recognized him -- but thought he'd just returned from Hong Kong. Billy was shocked upon realizing that Kay was alive and embraced her. Cane joined them and Kay was thrilled to see him.... In the lobby, Chloe and Lily traded barbs about Billy and Cane.... Cane quizzed Kay about things she'd done recently, but had no memory of them. Amber noted that he was asking her about things that were too recent. Kay was frustrated
that she couldn't recall her life.... Pearl and Joe encouraged Murphy to visit with Kay again.... Billy and Cane argued over whether the woman in the hospital was Kay. Cane offered to pay off the woman if she'd leave them alone. Kay was devastated. Billy followed Cane into the lobby and stated that the woman was indeed Kay. Cane thought she was a fake.... Kay asked her visitors to let her be by herself so she could think.
Phyllis and Jack ran into each other at the coffeehouse. She told Jack that things were good in her marriage. Jack was dubious. Nick then joined them and he and Phyllis informed Jack of Ashley's pregnancy. Later, Nick and Jack argued over Sharon; Jack demanded that Nick leave Sharon alone. Nick and Phyllis decided that this was a good time to leave.
At Crimson Lights, Daniel reasoned that Kevin had been set up in the photo. Jana feared that her husband would be locked up, but Gloria was confident that Michael could get him out of it. Jana accused Gloria for getting Kevin into this mess. Michael tried to keep Jana calm, to no avail. Wallace interrupted their argument and presented them with a search warrant for the coffeehouse. He then told them that Kevin was a prime suspect in the explosion.
Estella went to see Nikki and complained that Ashley accused her of stealing. Nikki urged her to give Ashley a chance. Estella then told Nikki that Victor proposed to Ashley.... Jack confided in Billy that he was concerned about Ashley carrying a "Baby Moustache." Billy informed him that Kay was definitely alive.... Cane returned home and told Jill that the woman in the hospital was indeed a fake.... In the diner, a sad Murphy realized that his friendship with Kay was over.... Amber and Esther wanted to take Kay home to the Chancellor Estate, but Kay didn't feel like it was her home anymore.
Wednesday
Heather showed up at jail and asked Adam how his eyes are doing. He became
defensive and claimed his sight was fine. Heather tested him by asking him
to pick up a pen next to his magazine. When Adam groped for it, Heather
pointed out that there was no pen and he obviously couldn't see that. He
became upset and anxiously whispered, "Shut up! Do you know what they do if
they sense a weakness in here? I'm already Victor Newman's brat. They think
I'm some spoiled rich kid." Heather offered to help Adam but he refused,
saying he could get killed.
At the ranch, Victor wanted Nick to go to an important business meeting in
China. Father and son then had a heart-to-heart about the losses in their
lives as well as Ashley's pregnancy. Nick was impressed to see how happy his
dad is. Heather showed up and revealed Adam's vision problems but Victor
slammed the door on her. Heather later approached Nick, who had little
sympathy for his brother.
Billy told his mother that he believed Kay is really Kay. "What I do know
for a fact is that my grandmother is in a hospital bed," Billy affirmed.
"I'll stake my life on it." Jill pointed out that the DNA tests proved
otherwise but Billy held firm to his belief and insisted that Kay needed
them. Billy convinced Jill to go to the hospital and see Kay.
Amber spent the night in Kay's hospital room and the patient was still
frustrated that she couldn't remember the last few months. Kay feared the
onset of Alzheimer's, but Amber reassured that tests already ruled that out.
A psychiatrist named Dr. Braun showed up to evaluate Kay. Amber became
protective and suggested that Kay's dental records be checked. Dr. Braun
then learned that Kay's dentist had retired and his records were sent to a
warehouse. However, it was unlikely that the records of dead patients were
kept. Upon realizing that she would be held for further mental tests, Kay
wanted to be released and declared that she is Marge and not Katherine
Chancellor. Oops. Billy and Jill arrived just in time to hear that.
Colleen and Gina saw the photo of Kevin with the bomb in the newspaper. A TV
news reporter approached Gina for an interview about her ex-husband Clint
and Kevin. On live TV, Gina spat that her ex is a psychopath and that "Kevin
Fisher and Clint Radison are two of a kind." When the burning of Gina's
restaurant was brought up (that Kevin was responsible for), the reported
drew Colleen into the interview and she tried to explain that Kevin is a
different person now but it still came out wrong.
Michael, Gloria and Jana were distressed to learn that the photo of Kevin
with the bomb wasn't a fake. They deduced that Clint kidnapped Kevin and
worried what would happen to him. Gil showed up and said they found Kay's
purse in Kevin's apartment and that he had been searching the Internet to
learn how to hot wire cars. "I have enough to get a warrant for Kevin's
arrest," Gil announced.
Clint, Annie and Roger entered a cabin and locked Kevin in a closet, where
he freaked out. Roger and Annie were upset to learn they were wanted for
Kidnapping, but Clint explained that they can frame Kevin for their misdeeds.
While Clint was in the other room, Roger and Annie took off, leaving Kevin
behind.
Jana blasted Gina and Colleen for what she said about Kevin on TV but Gina
was not sorry. "I want to see Kevin locked up as much for your sake as
anyone else," said Gina.... Michael was at upset that Gloria was conducting
a TV interview and called Kevin "fragile." Michael realized that Gloria
wasn't totally convinced that Kevin is innocent... Clint saw Gloria's
interview and learned about Kevin's abuse at the hands of his father....
Victor showed up at jail to see Adam.
Thursday
Victor paid Adam a visit at the prison. Adam wasn't pleased to have his father there and believed Victor came to gloat. "You don't know nearly as much as you think you know," Victor warned. He explained that he'd promised Hope he'd watch out for Adam. "Great job," Adam snapped. Victor questioned Adam about his failing eyesight, but Adam insisted that his eyes are fine. Victor was glad to hear that and left.
Clint locked Kevin in a closet. As an out-of-it Kevin pleaded to be
released, Clint pretended to be Kevin's father. He opened the closet door and offered Kevin food and water, only if Kevin did as "Daddy" said. Kevin asked for his mother. Clint hit him and closed the door, calling Kevin a "bad boy." He warned Kevin not to "make a mess" in there. Kevin began to imagine that he was 7 years old and was hearing Gloria and Tom argue about him. From the closet, Kevin yelled at "Tom" to leave Gloria alone. Clint
told Kevin to shut up. "Mom, get me out of here," Kevin cried, as he imagined Tom hitting Gloria. "Mom, don't leave me. Stay with me." He panicked when he could no longer "hear" her. "Why won't you answer me?" Kevin yelled to her, then asked for his dad. Clint opened the door and promised to let Kevin out if he was good.
At Newman Enterprises, Neil asked Karen to join him for dinner so they could discuss his kiss with Tyra. Karen replied that it wasn't going to be easy to get past it. Neil swore that nothing happened beyond a kiss. Karen explained that she was uncomfortable having Tyra work for Neil and asked him to fire
Tyra from Indigo. Neil argued that this was about Karen being afraid to let Tyra be a part in Ana's life. Karen insisted that that wasn't the case and couldn't understand why he wanted to protect Tyra. Neil assured her that his marriage to Karen was important. Victor interrupted and asked to speak with Neil. Tyra then arrived, looking for Neil.... Neil apologized to Victor for bringing his personal business to the workplace. Victor understood, then revealed that Ashley's pregnant. He admitted that it could be a complicated pregnancy and asked if Neil could be there for him at work when needed. Neil replied that he and Karen are in the middle of adopting Ana, so he, too had things going on in his personal life. Victor was happy for him.... In the conference room, Karen reamed out Tyra for trying to break up their marriage. Tyra took the blame for the kiss and apologized. Karen wouldn't hear it and demanded that Tyra stay away from her husband. Later, Neil
assured Karen that she's his priority and agreed to fire Tyra. A grateful Karen embraced him.
Jill ran into Nikki at Crimson Lights. Nikki asked how Esther was; Jill replied that Esther was okay. She also told Nikki that "Katherine" confessed to being Marge. Just then, a delivery arrived for Nikki: Kay's emerald ring. Nikki explained to Jill that she saw it in an auction catalogue and asked Victor to get it for her so it wouldn't be sold. Nikki apologized to Jill for accusing her of keeping it from her. Jill didn't want to discuss it and left.
Kay thanked Amber for being such a loyal friend. Amber was confident that Kay would get her life back. Kay vowed to prove that she's Katherine Chancellor. Amber then got a call from Daniel, who complained that Amber was obsessed with Kay. Amber was also concerned about Kevin. Later, Jill and Kay ran into each other at the GCAC and Jill again called Kay a fraud. She
threatened to call the cops again, but Kay insisted that she didn't do
anything wrong. She couldn't believe that her own daughter didn't believe her. "Stay the hell away from me!" Jill warned.
Nikki went to Newman to thank Victor for helping her get the ring. She also congratulated him on Ashley's pregnancy, but he wasn't eager to talk about that with his ex.... Victor wrote Adam a heartfelt letter, assuring that Adam is indeed his son and always will be. He then returned to the jail to personally deliver the letter to Adam. When Adam was unable to read it because of his eyesight, Victor offered to help him. "What are we going to do?" Adam asked. "We'll figure it out," Victor promised.
Daniel and Amber met up at the coffeehouse. He felt betrayed because she hadn't been straight with him about going after Clint. He also called her reckless. Amber wasn't sorry for going after Mrs. C, but agreed that she should've listened to Gina about Clint being a monster. Daniel also wanted to find Kevin, but didn't want Amber doing it on her own. After, Amber saw Jill there and tried to convince her that Kay is herself. Jill didn't want to hear it. Amber became hysterical over the idea of not being able to help out Kay and Kevin.
Kay ran into Nikki at the GCAC and pleaded with Nikki to hear her out. Kay urged Nikki to really look at her and she'd see Kay; Nikki still wouldn't believe her and begged "Marge" to stop playing this game. Katherine recognized the ring Nikki was wearing and insisted that she isn't dead.
Kevin promised Clint he'd be good, so Clint — still pretending to be Kevin's father — let him out of the closet. Clint suggested that they have some "fun" and showed him a chipmunk mask. Clint promised Kevin a "reward" if Kevin did as he was told. Later, a brainwashed Kevin went to a check-cashing place wearing the mask and robbed the teller at gunpoint.
Friday
At the GCAC, Katherine struggled to convince Nikki that she's
Katherine Chancellor, to no avail. Nikki demanded that she stay away from her. Kay replied that Nikki is still her best friend, but Nikki wouldn't hear it. After, Victoria tried to comfort a devastated Nikki, who felt as if she'd lost Kay all over again. They then discussed Ashley's pregnancy and Victoria found it hard to believe that Nikki wasn't more upset about it. Nikki reasoned that Victoria was the one who was having problems with the news. Vicky admitted that she's finding it hard to believe her father had gotten over Sabrina so quickly, and couldn't understand what Victor was searching for. Nikki urged her not to waste her time trying to figure him out and added that she wishes Victor well.
Kevin, wearing a chipmunk mask, held a gun to the clerk at a check-cashing place and robbed the joint. Kevin returned to a pleased Clint. Clint had big plans for him and warned Kevin that he'd lock him up again if Kevin refused to do it. Kevin threatened to hurt Clint if he kept being mean to him. He got up in Clint's face and Clint shoved him away. Kevin apologized to his "dad" and Clint forgave him.
At Crimson Lights, Amber continued her quest to get Kay's life back for her, but Daniel still wasn't sure he believed Kay's identity. He made Amber promise not to do anything dangerous. They believed that Clint set up that photo to make it look like Kevin planted the bomb. After, Kay joined them and lamented that people are still not believing her. Daniel asked if she had any idea where Kevin was, but Kay couldn't remember. Jana was frantic about Kevin's disappearance. Daniel had a strong feeling that Kevin
is alive. Jana thanked him for making her feel slightly hopeful. Daniel then got an e-mail about a robber who wore a chipmunk mask. Jana looked carefully at the robber in the photo and noticed that the chipmunk had a scarf like the one that Amber made Kevin. She and Daniel laughed off the idea of Kevin being a robber.
Neil was all set to fire Tyra from Indigo. Tyra assured him that she wasn't trying to break up Neil and Karen's marriage. He then let Tyra go.... Devon suspected that Neil and Karen were having problems; she confirmed it, but assured him that they were working through them. Devon reminded her how much Neil loves her.... Tyra called Neil her "knight in shining armor." Both took
the blame for the kiss. She understood that he was loyal to Karen. Later, she asked if Karen and Neil were still planning to adopt Ana; Neil said they were. Tyra was glad Ana would be living with people who love her; Neil promised that Tyra would still be in Ana's life.... At the office, Victoria also asked Karen if she and Neil are having problems. Victoria opined that Neil's a good man, but not a saint.... Tyra was all set to leave the club. Neil approached her and kissed her again! They then began undressing each other. Devon walked in as they were getting into it and left, unnoticed.
Amber took Kay to the diner to see Pearl, Murphy and Joe. They were thrilled to see her, especially Murphy. Kay hoped she'd remember some of the past few months by being in the diner. She thanked Murphy for being so kind to her while she was living in his trailer with him and promised that he'd be taken care of for the rest of his life. Murphy didn't want her money; he was just glad to have the pleasure of knowing her.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor told Ashley that Adam was having problems with his eyesight ... but he was suspicious that Adam was trying to trick him. Ashley thought that would be extreme, even for Adam, and suggested that Victor do what he promised and treat Adam like a son. After, Victor returned to the prison to talk with Adam. Adam realized that Victor thought he was faking his eyesight problems and asked Victor to leave him alone. Victor had an opthamologist examine him and learned that Adam was having symptoms that were similar to the condition that made Hope blind. Adam was devastated and wasn't sure how he was going to survive in prison.... Nikki and Ashley ran into each other at Newman. Ash was shocked when Nikki embraced her and congratulated her about her pregnancy.... Later, Victor got a call that Adam had been badly beaten.
Amber took a look at the robber's scarf in the online feed and confirmed that it was indeed the one she'd made for Kevin. She, Jana and Daniel realized that Kevin was the robber.
Kay recalled a conversation she and Nikki had had after Victor went to to Mexico. Nikki was finally convinced of Kay's identity.
