Monday

At their home, Nick marveled at Phyllis for producing Dr. Taylor's confession letter. Phyll admitted that she wish it wasn't true but Nick assured her of his love. He worried about Ashley but Phyllis noted, "Don't miss a minute with your daughter because of Ashley's sanity." Nick then wanted to visit Faith and Phyllis agreed to go with him.

At the ranch, Sharon was still in shock as she processed the possibility that Faith might be her and Nick's child. "I just keep thinking about what this is going to do to Ashley," Sharon lamented to Victoria. J.T. called, so Victoria left to see Reed. Alone, Sharon flew into a rage over Adam's deception. Cassie appeared and assured her that Faith is Sharon's baby. Still, Sharon was confused and Cassie urged her mom to "go be with her.... You'll feel it in your heart if she's yours." Sharon decided to see Faith right away.

At the Abbott cabin, Victor called the police to search for a missing Adam. Jack blasted Victor for getting Adam out of jail, which led to Ashley being tormented. After Jack left to be with Ashley, an officer reported to Victor that a body was spotted at the bottom of a ravine but a chopper couldn't get to it. Victor and the officer hiked down to the ravine where they found an unconscious Adam. There was still a pulse so while the officer ran back to call for help, Victor administered CPR on his son. "I want you to live," Vic growled. "You've got to pay for all the damage you have done to people."

Ashley refused to believe that Faith isn't hers. Billy warned his sister that Sharon and Nick will want answers. Ashley started to get upset over the enormity of the situation and broke down in tears. Jack showed up and fretted about his sister's emotional state but Ashley insisted that she was fine. Jack and Billy asked Ashley about the night she went into labor and she remembered going into a haze after swallowing pills dispensed by Adam. Sharon, Nick and Phyllis showed up to see Faith and Ashley reluctantly let them in. As Sharon gazed at Faith, Ashley became territorial. She told everyone to leave so she could feed her daughter. When she was alone with Faith, Ashley said, "Mommy and Faith have to leave Genoa City as soon as we can."

J.T. was appalled by Victoria's description of how everybody kidnapped, then terrorized Adam. She reminded the evil Adam perpetrated but J.T. was still peeved that the Newmans were playing "judge and jury." He ranted, "Your father is as amoral as they come, and I hate to think what he could expose Reed to." Victoria left and ran into Billy at Crimson Lights. They both agreed that Sharon and Ashley were in the middle of an emotional upheaval. Meanwhile, J.T. called someone to seek full custody of Reed.

Jack called Victor for an update on Adam and Vic reported that his son was in the hospital but alive. After hanging up, Victor told Adam, who was handcuffed to his hospital bed, that he was "born evil." Heather showed up to arrange for Adam to be booked. Adam blathered that he didn't want to live without Sharon but an unmoved Heather shot back, "You have to live so they can nail your ass to the wall." Meanwhile, Victor was overcome with emotion when he found Faith's toy.

Tuesday

At Crimson Lights, Lauren marveled to Michael at how unselfish Phyllis had been to give Ashley the letter from Dr. Taylor. Kevin then gave them green coffee for St. Patrick's day, but didn't appreciate Michael joking about it. Lauren invited Kevin over so he could get his mind off of Jana. Kevin asked Michael about Cane being deported and was envious that Cane and Lily were willing to fight so hard for their marriage. Kevin then found the package that Daisy had left for Michael — and opened it to see the photos of Lauren kissing Paul. Kevin eyed Lauren and Michael being lovey-dovey, clearly confused about what to do. When Michael went to take a call, Kevin approached Lauren with the pictures and accused her of cheating on his brother. She demanded to know where he got the pictures and insisted that she never slept with Paul. She tried to explain that she wasn't herself that night and didn't even remember what happened until afterward, but Kevin didn't buy it. He planned to show them to Michael. Lauren stated that she's telling the truth and promised that she's not keeping secrets. She begged him to not show the photos to his brother. Kevin revealed that he found the photos in Michael's briefcase. Lauren wondered who did it and realized that someone was trying to make trouble for her and her husband. Lauren planned to tell Michael the truth.

Lily sadly told Neil that Cane was supposed to be leaving for Australia, but Neil urged her to have hope that Michael would be able to stop it from happening. Neil was pleased that Lily was recovering. Daniel asked to speak with her alone and implored her to tell them the truth — that her chemo didn't work. Lily disagreed because she didn't want Cane to make an escape attempt. Lily went to see Cane at Immigration. He was thrilled that she'd beaten her cancer and called her the most amazing woman he's known. Lily began to cry and he assured her that everything would be okay because she'd be there to raise their babies. He also promised that he wouldn't be gone for long and suggested that they go to Paris if they can't live in the United States together. They agreed to keep looking forward, no matter what.

At Jimmy's, Mac eyed glasses of beer, which she'd dyed green, and tried to decide which was the best color. J.T joined her and told her that things with Victoria are bad. He apologized for dumping his problems on her, but Mac didn't mind. He disapproved of the way the Newmans had handled Adam at the Abbott cabin, calling it reckless. Mac urged him to stop fighting with Victoria for Reed's sake. J.T feared that Reed would be seduced by Victor's money and power and didn't want his son anywhere near Newman.

Meanwhile, Billy tried to cheer up Victoria at the coffeehouse. They both became somber as they discussed Ashley and how she was handling the Faith situation. They then talked about Adam and he thanked her for talking him out of killing Adam at the cabin. Later, Billy informed Victoria about Tucker bribing a foreign official. She approved Restless Style outing Tucker after what he did to Katherine. They were interrupted when Michael asked to speak with her; he informed Victoria that J.T intends to sue for full custody of Reed.

Mac visited Cane, interrupting him and Lily. She told them that the babies are healthy. Daniel arrived and asked to see Lily. He again urged her not to lie to Cane, but she argued that she was doing what was best for her husband. Daniel argued that what was best for Cane was hearing the truth about her cancer.... Cane asked Mac to look after Lily for him. Mac promised that he'd be getting constant updates about the babies. He then told her that Lily's cancer is gone, and Mac was thrilled. After, Cane asked to speak with the babies and pressed his face to Mac's belly. He bid them farewell, but assured them that he's coming back and will be there for them when they're born. Later, Michael told Cane that there was nothing he could do to stop him from being deported. Lily was devastated. Daniel still thought that she should tell Cane the truth before he left.

Victoria found J.T at home and reamed him out for trying to get full custody. "Go to hell," she sneered. "You are such a bastard." J.T retorted that she can't see right from wrong anymore, and doesn't want Reed to be raised that way. She resented him constantly throwing her family in her face. J.T disapproved of how they'd handled Adam, but Victoria argued that Adam deserved it. She demanded that J.T leave ASAP. Later, Michael told her that she can't kick out J.T and advised her to stay put if she wants to fight for custody. J.T informed Mac that he's not leaving his home.

At the Abbott mansion, Ash held Faith and assured Jack that she's okay and doesn't need him hovering over her. When he went to take a shower, she grabbed the baby, some bags and hurried out of there. When Jack was finished with his shower, he came downstairs and realized this his sister was gone. He called Billy and Neil for help.... Ashley took Faith to the airport, but their flight was delayed. There, she ran into Tucker, who was returning from New York. He tried to chat her up, but Ashley clearly wasn't paying attention. Tucker asked her if something was wrong and offered to keep her company.... Jack, Billy and Neil made calls. Neil was angry with Jack for allowing her to participate in the Adam incident, but Jack was more concerned with finding her.... At the airport, Ashley told Tucker that she didn't need his company, but he took a seat next to her, anyway. He asked where they were going, but she snapped that it wasn't his business. He asked if she was taking a vacation to get away from everything surrounding Jabot; she agreed that sometimes you need to get away to catch your breath. He was surprised to hear her putting down her family. She explained that her family can be claustrophobic and that she needed to handle some things on her own. She admitted that she hasn't always handled things well in the past. Tucker advised her to ask herself if she's looking for breathing space or is running, adding that he couldn't imagine someone as put-together as Ashley needing to run from anything.... Jack and Billy didn't want to call the Newmans, but Neil wasn't sure how they could look for her without letting everyone know that she's missing. Later, Tucker brought Ashley and Faith home. She assured her brothers that she's fine and just didn't want them hovering over her.

Lily became tearful as she thanked Cane for all he's done for her. She couldn't believe that they were saying good-bye. He tried to be strong and kept saying that it wouldn't be for long. She finally revealed to him that her chemo didn't work and she still has cancer.

Wednesday

Lying in his hospital bed, Adam didn't look up when Victor entered. "Go away and leave me to die," he growled at his father. Instead, Victor dropped papers in his lap. Victor informed him that it was a petition from Sharon for an annulment. "What the hell happened to you? Who are you?" Victor asked as he inspected his son chained to the bed. He left the room as Adam begged to die. Heather walked into Adam's room and was immediately on the defensive when Adam asked for her help. "You know me!" he begged her. "Nobody really knows you," she retorted. "All you are is smoke and mirrors." She informed him that she was not there to help him, but to introduce him to his court appointed psychiatrist. "Adam, you will be working with Dr. Emily Peterson," Heather announced, as "Emily" walked in. She and Adam stared each other down.

Back home, Ashley allowed Jack and Neil to comfort her and Faith. The two men exchanged knowing glances as Ashley doted over "her" baby. Ashley admitted that she felt the need to call Nick and Sharon, but that she didn't know what to say. She maintained that Adam delivered her baby, and that he would have no way of knowing what Dr. Taylor did with Sharon's baby. Ashley began to cry as she allowed herself to think about what might happen if the DNA test showed that Faith was not hers. Victor arrived to check on Ashley, and Jack left. Ashley informed Victor that Nick and Sharon wanted a DNA test. Victor couldn't take his eyes off Faith. The ex-spouses shared stories about the baby. Ashley implored Victor to believe that beautiful Faith was their baby, but Victor had doubts. "I can't lose her ... I can't!" she cried and put her head on Victor's shoulder.

Phyllis and Malcolm shared a plate of French fries at the Club while she vented to him about the problems her marriage could be facing. Malcolm encouraged her to "shape" her own reality. He reassured her that Nick loved her, but Phyllis pointed out that he has two women who are in love with him and two little girls who need him. Malcolm told her that he would always be there for her.

At the tack house, Sharon rambled on to Nick about how perfect it would be to have their little girl back. Nick sighed that they wouldn't know anything for sure until the DNA test came back. He admitted to Sharon that he had had vivid dreams last night about how he would kill Adam if he ever got the chance. Phyllis entered to find her husband and Sharon on the couch. Sharon jumped up and took the opportunity to thank Phyllis for coming forward with the letter from Taylor. "It kills me to think that I tried to stop you from investigating Adam!" she gushed. Phyllis responded that she was glad the truth was finally out. Sharon left, which gave Nick a chance to talk to Phyllis alone. He thanked his wife for being so strong through everything. Sharon came rushing back in with her cell phone ringing. "It's Ashley!" she exclaimed. She answered, and Ashley asked her and Nick to come over. Nick asked Phyllis to join them, but she declined.

At the coffeehouse, Patty freaked out wondering where Jack could be; that maybe he had discovered the truth about Emily. An angry patient approached her asking for help. Patty panicked when the patient sat down and began spilling the details of her problems. Patty's eyes were wild when the woman asked her for a new prescription. A catfight ensued when Patty accused the woman of accosting her on her day off. "I suggest you find a new psychiatrist!" she shrieked as she ran into the coffeehouse.

Katherine and Jill met at the Club. Katherine pulled Jill into a hug upon hearing that Cane's deportation could not be stopped. "Pretty soon I'm going to be all alone," Jill said sadly. Katherine disagreed, and told Jill that she still thought of her as her daughter. "Though there are no ties, that is not what matters," Kay said lovingly. Jill's eyes welled up with tears.

At Immigration, Lily urged Cane to give in to the deportation because the sooner he left, the sooner he could come back to her. "I need you, Cane. I really do," Lily exclaimed desperately. Lily wondered if she had done the right thing in telling him the truth about her cancer. She begged him not to try to escape. She dissolved into tears as Katherine and Jill entered. They begged Lily not to worry. They hugged Cane and cried as he was led away in handcuffs by the authorities. Neil and Malcolm arrived just in time to say goodbye. Cane was surprised they didn't know the truth about Lily's cancer. Lily didn't have time to set them straight before Cane had to leave. On his way out, Cane assured Lily that he would be back in time for the birth of their twins. "I will never let you down ... do you believe me?" he asked. Lily responded with a passionate kiss. Lily watched in agony as her husband was taken away for good. After she walked away, Cane lured the officer back and clubbed him over the head with his handcuffs. When the officer went down, Cane took off running after Lily.

Nick and Sharon arrived at Ashley's, and Victor let them in. Ashley announced that despite her strong feeling that Faith belonged with her, everyone deserved to know the truth. "No matter what the outcome," she sobbed, "I'll respect it." Sharon jumped up to hug Ashley. There wasn't a dry eye in the room as everyone realized the importance of the moment.

Phyllis went to the woods and stared at Faith's plaque. She flashed back to all her memories of Nick waffling between her and Sharon. Angrily, she pried down the plaque. In the car on her way home, her thoughts were intermingled with scenes of Nick and Sharon holding baby Faith. As Nick and Sharon looked at their child, they held hands. The scene flashed to the tack house, where a babysitter cuddled Summer. Suddenly, Phyllis lost control of her car and lights shined through her windshield as she crashed.
