Monday
Daniel called Phyllis from Crimson Lights to let her know his divorce papers from Amber came today. Abby invited Daniel for a swim at the ranch. Daniel said he was going there anyway to see Phyllis. Daniel admitted to Phyllis he'd been hoping Amber might come home until the papers arrived. He couldn't believe he had two failed marriages behind him. "Let's not start counting up failed relationships," quipped Phyllis, urging him to move on. Daniel removed his wedding ring and agreed to get back to the dating scene.
Tucker and Ashley were pleased to hear Victoria went to Tokyo to meet with Mitzikoshi. "They took the bait," smiled Ash. Tucker said he is going to Tokyo to uncover Victor's hold on the market. He invited Ashley to come with him. Abby approached, and convinced her mom to go. "Bring me back something sparkly," demanded the Naked Heiress. Stay out of trouble, retorted mom.
In Tokyo, Billy asked Vicky if they could share a room since hers was nicer. No. Billy fell to the bed claiming back pain. Vicky went to help him and he grabbed her. Post-romp, they drank tea in matching kimonos and agreed not to talk business. Vicky took a shower while Billy snooped. He found a present with an expensive antique gun inside. Vicky got ready for her meeting as Billy begged to go with her. They headed out and ran smack into Tucker and Ashley in the hall.
Jack asked Meggie if Victor was in danger. Shaw approached and offered to get rid of Jack if he was bothering her. Jack bought the hooligans a drink. Meggie told Shaw that Jack was her date and made them leave.
Adam answered the phone in Brazil and was stunned to find it was Sharon calling. Adam said he will always love her and asked if Sharon feels the same. Nick picked up the extension and started recording the call. Sharon said she can't get past what Adam did to Faith. Adam declared the call a mistake and hung up. Nick played the tape back and hoped it would be enough to clear him. While Sharon tended to Faith, Nick fretted to Phyllis that he could tell by Sharon's face that she still has feelings for Adam. Phyllis pointed out that they just confirmed Adam is alive, but all Nick cares about is that Sharon might still care for him. In Brazil, Adam cursed himself for answering the phone. Skye removed the phone battery and promised it would be okay. Sharon called the number again later and found it was out of order.
Victor's boat filled with water as he yelled "May Day!" into the ship's phone. Sparks flew out of the phone, electrocuting Victor. He sunk to the floor. Jack arrived and rammed the door in. "How did you get here?" marveled The Mustache. Jack carried Victor back to Meggie's bar and updated him on Adam and Skye being in Brazil. Victor said he is going to Brazil. Jack said he was, too.
Daniel met Abby at the pool. They flirted and he asked her why she wants to be famous. Abby explained she just wanted to be noticed and feel special. "Who isn't paying attention to you?" he asked. Daniel pulled Abby into the pool, calling her sexy. They kissed and removed their bathing suits. After having sex, Daniel snoozed by the pool. Abby checked a hidden video camera and confirmed that it was all on tape, then called Kent and told him to leak it.
Tuesday
Nikki told Phyllis that Jack and Victor were on their way to Brazil. Phyllis responded that Nick is worried Sharon still has feelings for Adam. They took a walk around the ranch and stumbled onto Abby and Daniel sleeping poolside after their sex romp. "Good morning," said Phyllis. "Does your mother know where you are?" asked Nikki. Phyllis yelled at Daniel for doing the "breast stroke" with Victor's daughter. Abby asked Nikki not to tell Victor she spent the night with Daniel, and for Nikki's help getting her trust fund. Nikki advised Abby to develop a project that utilizes her talent, not her family money. Phyllis complained to Nikki that Abby is the kind of girl who likes to wrap men around her finger. "That reminds me of someone," smirked Nikki.
Tucker, Ashley, Billy and Victoria marveled at the odds of them all being at the same hotel in Tokyo. Victoria wondered why the Jabot duo was there since most of their business is done in Hong Kong. Tucker said he and Ashley are there to change that. Tucker questioned Beauty of Nature's exclusive deal in Japan. Victoria left for her meeting, carrying the giant box with the antique gun from Victor. Tucker noted that the man Vicky met was not Mitzikoshi. Vicky met with Yonoshi who told her to tell Victor their arrangement would continue as planned. On his way out, Ashley purposely bumped into Yonoshi, then flirted in Japanese that she would forgive him if he bought her a drink. Tucker approached and made nice, privately calling Ashley "Mata Hari." Ashley and Tucker figured out that Yonoshi was the Minister of Zoning — why was Vicky meeting with him? They shared their theory with Billy that the Newmans are up to no good and asked him if he has seen anything suspicious. Billy flashed back to finding the gun and lied that he hadn't. They asked him to snoop. Billy excused himself to go sing karaoke with Vicky.
Jill's mother Liz collapsed on the plane to Genoa City and was taken to Memorial Hospital. Snapper Foster ordered a series of tests for his mother at the hospital and urged her to rest. He left to check on the results as Jill and Katherine arrived. Jill and Liz traded comments about Esther but then Liz had a coughing fit. Where is that damn doctor? yelled Jill. In walked Snapper. "I'll be damned," marveled Katherine. Snapper tended to Liz and explained to Jill their mom has pneumonia, maybe worse - her cancer may have returned. Jill cried to Katherine that she regrets being so mean to her mom after she found out she was adopted. Katherine admonished Jill for being so self-absorbed and ordered her to be a good daughter to Liz now. Jill told Snapper she has to tell him something about Jill that only she knows.
Abby met Daniel at Crimson Lights and offered to pose nude for him some time. "It's going to be a hot summer," smiled Daniel. "You have no idea," purred Abby. Kent arrived and showed Abby his handiwork of her sex video on the web. On his way out, Daniel overheard some girls giggling about the Naked Heiress's latest video of sex in a pool.
Wednesday
Katherine chastised Jill at the hospital for worrying about herself while her mom is so sick. "What would I do if I didn't have you to remind me what a selfish bitch I am?" snarked Jill. Liz confided a secret to Snapper about Jill. Snapper responded that he can't look his sister in the face without telling her — Jill has a right to know who her real parents are. Liz questioned Jill about "this rumor she is doing nails again" and they laughed. Kay suspected Snapper knows something about Jill's biological family. Jill sat by Liz's bedside and apologized for discarding the mother who raised her. Flowers arrived from Liz's son Greg. A nurse came in with medication for Liz, but it was wrong. Snapper upbraided her for almost killing his mother. Liz thanked Katherine for calming Jill down. Snapper took a biopsy to see why Liz's kidneys are failing. "If I don't make it…" said Liz to Kay. "Don't!" cried Katherine.
Michael reviewed the facts of Nick's case with Nick, Sharon and Phyllis. Phyllis was subpoenaed to testify in Nick's trial. Michael was pleased — Phyllis could prove that Adam set the whole thing up by describing that she saw Hightower dressed as Adam at the ball. Michael didn't want Nick to take the stand. Nick argued, to no avail. Phyllis and Michael walked through the athletic club, going over the events from that night. Phyllis cut it short to go home, because "Sharon is alone with my husband." Deal with it, advised Michael — like Michael is dealing with Phyllis evicting his mother from her apartment. Yeah, Phyllis should have told Michael about that… Back home, Nick asked Sharon how she could possibly still care about Adam. Sharon denied it. Nick said he knows Sharon still loves Adam because when she loves, she loves with her whole heart. Sharon admitted that she could never love anyone the way she loved Nick. They reached for each other as Phyllis spied through the window. "Still think I should just deal with it?" Phyllis fretted to Michael.
Skye got all dolled up in Brazil to play poker. Adam fretted they were running out of money, but Skye assured him she would win — nothing can stop them now. Victor and Jack walked into the hotel sporting tuxedos. Victor explained that Skye earned her way through Harvard playing poker, and this hotel is famous for its high-rolling poker games. Victor showed the manager Skye's picture, but the manager got nervous and said his clients demand discretion and he could not ID her. "She's here," pronounced Victor. Skye bought her way into a game for half a million, flirted with a chump, and won $5 million on one hand. Victor and Jack overheard the chump complaining that some woman cheated him at cards and showed him Skye's picture. Yup, that's her. The chump revealed that Skye is staying at the Escondido.
Adam surfed the net looking for a fishing village to hide in while daydreaming about Sharon still loving him. Skye came home excited about her score. Adam didn't act happy, so Skye made fun of him for still caring about Sharon. Maybe it's time they split the money and went their separate ways, Adam spit.
Victor and Jack burst into Skye and Adam's hotel room, but it was empty. Jack spied the page of fishing villages Adam was looking at, which gave Victor an idea: "I will lure them into a trap."
Thursday
In Brazil, Victor purposely lost money in a high-stakes poker game to attract Skye's attention. Adam urged Skye to leave Brazil with him, but she was more interested in another big score than in his "little Podunk fishing village." Skye and Adam returned to the hotel, but were stopped by the manager because he got complaints that Skye was cheating at cards. The manager was also not crazy about the two men who showed up asking questions about them. "What two men?" asked a nervous Adam. Jack joined Victor in the poker game, admitting he hasn't played "Hold-Em" in a while. Skye got a text about a big game going on. Jack and Victor "lost" a ton of cash to Mr. Wong, although both had better hands than he did. Mr. Wong showed the briefcase of money to Skye, saying he has found a new mark. Turns out Victor had placed a tiny camera in the briefcase, so Jack and Victor watched Skye take the bait. Jack stepped out to call Michael with the news, narrowly missing Adam. Adam relayed the news to Skye that Jack was there, but she still refused to leave before she lines up one more big game. Jack decided to go home and support Nick at his trial tomorrow, while Victor stayed in Brazil to catch Adam and Skye.
Ashley and Tucker flirted over drinks in Japan and talked about how their mothers have disappointed them. Tucker wanted Chancellor and Jabot to be bigger and better than ever because he owns them now. Ash remarked that he sounds just like Katherine. Tucker asked how Ashley could have ever gotten "mixed up" with Victor Newman and they discussed Faith. Ash said all her loss has made her stronger. Tucker told Ashley he has never seen her look more beautiful, which made her nervous so she went to bed. Tucker went to his room but Ashley knocked on his door. They had sex.
Jill and Katherine fretted about Liz's health as Snapper went to get Liz's test results. Greg (Jill and Snapper's brother) showed up at the hospital. Snapper informed the family Liz has advanced Wegener's Disease and is at risk for renal failure. Snapper revealed to Katherine that his mother laid a "monumental secret" on him and he is having trouble looking Jill in the eye as a result. Jill yelled at Greg and Snapper for not being there for her when they thought Katherine was dead, found out Cane was not her son, etc. Greg retorted that it's a two-way street - let's pull together for mom. Jill whined about how she will be all alone when Liz dies. "That's enough!" admonished Kay. "Get in there and be with your mother!" "It's so much easier to get mad than say goodbye," sobbed Jill. They all held hands at Liz's bedside.
Friday
Jack updated Nick, Phyllis, Sharon and Michael that they found Skye and Adam in Brazil. Nick's trial started. DA Pomerantz opened with how the state would prove wealthy Nick Newman killed a man he thought was his brother with an expensive pen to the chest. Michael countered that Mr. Newman was framed, and being rich is not a crime. Victor called Sharon and asked her to come to Brazil to smoke out Adam. "Do it for Nicholas," he urged. Sharon told Jack of Victor's request. "No way in hell!" responded Jack. Sharon argued that she is the perfect person for the job and left the trial to "go see Faith." The DA entered the pen and other incriminating items into evidence, and implied that Nick bought his way out of prison with the Newman millions. "Objection!" yelled Michael, arguing that posting bail is not a crime. They recessed. Jack informed Nick and Phyllis that Victor asked Sharon to come to Brazil, but he talked her out of it. After leaving numerous messages for Sharon, however, Jack realized she went.
In a remote village, Adam called out Sharon's name in his sleep, which did not amuse Skye. Skye said they have to go back to Sao Paolo for one more score. Once she wins the millions, no one can touch them — not even Victor. Skye taunted Adam about "running slow motion on the beach" with Sharon. Adam insisted he is over Sharon and proved it by having sex with Skye. Mr. Wong called to let Skye know the poker game is set for tomorrow.
In Brazil, Victor got a briefcase full of money delivered to him. He found another poker game and purposely lost more money. Mr. Wong said there will be a big game soon, but Victor will need millions. Bring it, said Victor. A letter arrived that said "Burn after reading." Victor read it and burned it. There was a knock on the door. Victor opened the door to Sharon and embraced her.
Jill, Snapper, Greg and Katherine gathered around Liz's bedside as she slipped away. Snapper counseled that no one is ever ready to say goodbye to a loved one. The Foster kids reminisced about their childhoods. Jill apologized to Snapper and Greg for being so hard on them earlier. Liz apologized to Katherine for telling her and Jill they were mother and daughter, and asked Katherine to watch out for Jill. Snapper was about to tell Jill a secret when Katherine announced, "It's time." Liz told her kids she loves them and has had a good life. "Don't feel sad about my passing," she whispered. Liz died. Katherine invited the grieving Fosters back to her house. Jil asked Snapper what he wanted to tell her. Snapper told Jill she had a right to know who she is, and they had private conversation. Later, Jill turned up on Lauren's doorstep with a pained look on her face. "Are you okay?" asked a bewildered Lauren.
