Monday
Victor met with a psychiatrist about Ashley, as Adam watched on his computer. The shrink asked if he thought Ashley was a danger to herself or others. Victor answered no, but he was worried about her pregnancy. Victor asked the doctor to observe Ash and render a decision about whether or not she needed to be committed.
Adam visited Ashley to check in on her. Ashley said she was glad to be home. Ashley then mentioned the Sabrina scrapbook incident in her hospital room. Ash was convinced Estella was responsible. Adam said he believed her and Ashley thanked him for being a friend.
At Crimson Lights, Jana told Kevin he needs to get past his criminal activities and forgive himself.
At his apartment, Daniel recalled his encounter with the fed who told him to keep his distance from Kevin. Just then, he got a call asking where the latest painting was. Daniel said if he wants a perfect copy, it takes time. The caller demanded that Daniel finish by tomorrow noon, then made a threat against Amber.
Jack assured Phyllis that he and Sharon would be raising Sharon's baby, no matter who the father is. Phyllis asked Jack to keep Sharon away from Nick. Meanwhile, Nick told Sharon that he wants her back. Sharon said no. Nick said they were meant to be together but Sharon stated she should be with Jack. Nick pointed out that Sharon doesn't love Jack the way she loves him. Just then, Phyllis entered. Sharon told Phyllis that she and Jack have reconciled and she and Nick need to keep their distance. Sharon assured Phyllis nothing was going on between her and Nick, then she left.
Olivia found Jack and informed him about Ashley's condition. They arrived at the ranch just as the shrink was leaving. Jack was upset that Victor and Olivia were bringing in a shrink for Ashley. Victor advised Jack to come back tomorrow but he said no way. Just then, Ashley came out to see her brother. Jack wanted his sister to come home with him and leave Victor's "haunted house." Victor and Jack started to spar but Ashley asked them to calm down. Ashley went to her room, where Olivia followed and apologized for her concern, but stated it was out of love. Jack and Victor went back to sparring, while an amused Adam watched. Victor told Jack to leave. Olivia interrupted and left with Jack.
Amber and Daniel went to the coffeehouse, where Amber told Jana that she'd help cheer Kevin up. Once alone, Jana confronted Daniel on his forgery. Daniel insisted that he was working with the feds to lure out the real forgers. Jana said she had a bad feeling about the whole thing.
Kevin showed Amber a Web site about their criminal misdeeds. Amber said there must be something positive about them on the Web somewhere. Kevin refused to believe it. Kevin apologized to Amber for forcing her into his criminal activity. She said she'd do it again if it meant getting him back. Amber got on the computer and found a positive Web site about Kevin. Amber read a sympathetic post aloud. Kevin was shocked and visibly moved. Kevin gave her a cappuccino in thanks. They returned to Daniel and Jana, and Kevin showed Jana posts from the site. Just then, Kevin realized that Amber was responsible for the Web site. Kevin was appreciative of her efforts.
Ashley took a walk on the grounds with Zapato. She enjoyed the night air, then had a vision of Sabrina. Ashley asked why Sabrina was tormenting her. Sabrina assured her that she and her baby are at peace, and stated that Ashley is giving Victor the baby she couldn't. Just then, Ashley woke up, safe in her bed.
Daniel and Amber returned home to find their place ransacked. Amber thought it was one of the creeps from the Internet but Daniel thought it might be someone from the forgery ring.
Ashley woke up in a good mood and embraced Victor, who was pleased to see her smiling again. Adam watched and was angered that his plan was faltering.
Sharon returned home to Jack and told him that she loved him. Meanwhile, Phyllis asked Nick what he really wants.
Tuesday
Amber showed Detective Wallace the state of her apartment. Daniel came home and reprimanded Amber for getting the police involved. Amber said she was fearful. Wallace suggested they put a new lock on their door. Amber was upset with Daniel as it appeared he didn't care that someone ransacked their home.
Kevin wondered how his mother and Jeffrey were able to pay for the penthouse. "I'm taking care of it," Jeff admitted. Kevin said Gloria could work at the coffee house if she needed some extra money. Gloria made it clear that she and Jeffrey had a secret plan.
Jana was horrified to realize Daniel was involved with art forgery. Jana was in her own little world (thinking of Daniel) when Kevin tried to engage her in conversation. "Are you pregnant?" he asked his bride. Jana laughed and explained that she had a feeling "that something really terrible is going to happen." Kevin tried to assure her that everything was really
fine.
Jana begged Daniel to tell Amber the truth but he refused. Jana tried to convince him that if Amber ever had a clue that he might be hiding something from her, there would be hell to pay. Howard Aucker, Dept. of Justice, knocked on Daniel's door.
Nikki invited Mary Jane to join her and Paul for dinner. Mary Jane declined. Once alone with his fiancée, Paul admitted that he was investigating Mary Jane. Nikki felt she was harmless but Paul confided he got this strange vibe that he thought he had met her before. Paul added that he can't find proof that a person named Mary Jane Benson even exists. Nikki said that was impossible because she had impeccable references. Nikki did admit that she didn't actually check the references, however. Paul asked Nikki to help him investigate her.
Jill had a run-in with Victor. She offered him payback, specifically to Katherine because she had stolen Neil Winters from him. Victor had no interest in getting involved in any of the Jill-Katherine battles. He warned Jill to stay away from Ashley and his family. Victor admitted that Ashley was currently in the hospital and was having some problems with her pregnancy. Jill was sorry to hear that. Jill continued to blame Victor, however, for her current financial woes. On her way out, Jill ran into Gloria and Jeff, and the three bickered, so Victor wouldn’t suspect they were allies. Victor told them all to leave.
Jill, Jeff and Gloria chatted about getting dirt on Newman. "Victor's closet is so full of skeletons, there's no room for clothing," Jeff quipped. Gloria wondered who Victor might be housing in the Athletic club. Jill and Gloria were delighted to learn that it was Mary Jane Benson in the suite. Jill, Gloria and Jeffrey toasted to the downfall of Victor Newman.
Victor got a call from Mary Jane begging him to see her right away. Victor agreed. Mary Jane made small talk with Nikki and Paul at the GCAC, then claimed she had a headache and had to lie down. Nikki received a fax of Mary Jane's references and realized they had not been checked by anyone. "She does seem rather eccentric," Nikki admitted. Victor congratulated Paul and Nikki on their engagement. Nikki was gracious, then added she was sorry to hear that Victor had fired Estella. He explained there was a lot of tension between Ashley and Estella. Victor left. Paul reminded Nikki they can't talk about work or exes. "What's left?" laughed Nikki. Paul got a call and brought Nikki over for a surprise: Father Todd, Paul's brother, who welcomed Nikki to "our crazy family." Sadly, because Nikki was divorced, Todd couldn't
perform the ceremony. Paul was looking forward to his whole family being together.
Mary Jane told her cat that Victor would help her get rid of Sharon and then Jack would go back to her. Victor showed up and thanked Mary Jane for all her time and effort, but pointed out that the plan didn't work. Mary Jane insisted it would work. "You just have to give it time," she urged. "You give me a new face, a new persona. Now you're dumping me?" Victor wanted to pay her off but she just wanted another month. "You brought me here to ruin Jack Abbott," Mary Jane said, "and now you're are concerned with his ex-wife?" Victor was sad to have to admit that Jack would be
helping Sharon and encouraged Mary Jane to start a new life, without Jack Abbott. "This is the end of a chapter," Victor said firmly. "Now get out of town."
Wednesday
Cane jokingly told Lily that she couldn't taste the cheesecake until her family was there to watch her blow out the candles. (It was Lily's birthday.)
Billy had flowers for Mac to celebrate her recent engagement. Mac reminded Billy he could fight for Chloe and the baby. Cane had lots of presents for his bride; Lily just had one — a calendar with hearts on the dates that were the best time to make a baby. Neil was happy to see Lily so happy. Nina wanted a moment with Cane. She brought up Violet, the woman who had raised Cane, but he quickly changed the subject and said he wanted to unwrap some more presents with Lily. Lily let Nina know that Cane likes to keep his past where it is.
Chloe refused to move back in with Billy. Billy admitted he was a "self-indulgent screw-up." Chloe wouldn't accept that. Billy didn't want to walk away from Delia. Chloe begged him to remember what they have in common. "I wish you would just focus on what we have rather than going after some girl who doesn't want you anymore," she said. Chloe then made the mistake of comparing Billy to Cane. She added that Cane had tried to reach out to Billy. Billy wanted about a tenth of the attention that Jill pays to Cane. Chloe added that Jill pays attention to Cane because Cane pays attention to her. Chloe admitted that she does feel awful about what she did to Cane and Lily and vowed to never let Delia be ashamed of her. Chloe begged Billy to let go of Mac, "then I can make this work, okay? You, me and Delia," she said. Billy admitted he missed Delia and Chloe but before they reconciled he would have to tell Chloe something. "Sharon's pregnant and it could be mine," Billy blurted out.
Amber was determined to clear her and Kevin's name and was ready to go public to do it. She placed a call to Tommy Lasorda's show, which backfired when Amber didn't have any baseball questions ready. Tommy knew all about the Silver chipmunk. Tommy also knew that the governor of Wisconsin had pardoned them. When he opened the phone lines, there were 14 calls against the chipmunk. Kevin admitted he was insane.
Daniel was confused because the Howard Aucker at his door wasn't the same Aucker who had come to his art show. "He bought all of all my sketches," Daniel explained, "and said he was from the Department of Justice." However clearly it wasn't the same man. Daniel agreed to sketch the guy for the real Aucker and they would try to find the fake one. Jana reminded Daniel that he was exploited as an artist. Jana didn't think he should try to track down the painting. In fact, Jana just wanted Daniel to leave the whole thing alone. "There no reason for them to come after you or Amber," she said, and agreed to keep Daniel's secret. Daniel tuned in to listen to Kevin and Amber on the radio. They heard Kevin open up about what really happened. Tommy didn't think Kevin sounded crazy at all. After the interview ended, Daniel and Jana came over. "Who would think that talking things out with Tommy Lasorda would help? But it did," Kevin told his wife. Amber hoped that the radio show would put an end to all the hate mail and apartment trashing.
A man said "that Romalotti kid, he's got no idea what he's gotten himself into."
Thursday
Billy confessed his affair with Sharon to Chloe, who was understandably hurt and mad. "You told me you weren't gonna be faithful," she raged. "I guess you just had to prove it." Billy insisted he was ready to be a husband and father but Chloe stipulated she will only stay married if they get their own home.
Nick came up to the main house at the ranch to talk to Victor but ran into Adam instead. Nick was immediately abrasive to his brother and Adam pointed out that at least Victor was giving him a second chance. "I'm glad to see Dad so happy, but just because he's mellow doesn't mean he's forgotten you
tried to frame him for murder," Nick pointed out.
When Victor encountered Nikki at the G.C.A.C., he apologized for the way he treated her after Sabrina died. Nikki genuinely expressed her gratitude that Ashley was able to save him. "If you hadn't returned to Genoa city... I
think it would have killed me," Nikki sniffled. The exes hugged and she walked away.
While Adam eavesdropped, Ashley bristled at Olivia's hint about seeing a psychiatrist. Ashley was confident that she wouldn't be stressed out anymore because she had a dream that "Sabrina came to me and told me that she was at peace knowing that Victor was loved." When Liv didn't seem moved by this account, Ashley asked her friend to leave. After Liv departed, Ashley decided to take a walk on the grounds.
At G.C.A.C., Mary Jane spied Jack canoodling with Sharon and stalked away. After their dinner, Jack asked Sharon to marry him again. Citing three potential dads for her baby, Sharon answered, "I don't think that now is the time to be making long-term plans." Jack received an important business call so Sharon said she would get home on her own.
After visiting Victoria's house, Nikki saw Ashley talking to Sabrina's statue. "It makes me feel better believing that somehow you're watching over me and my baby," Ashley said as Nikki looked on with concern.
Mary Jane groused to Phyllis about how Sharon ruined her budding romance with Jack. Phyllis advised her to walk away because Sharon is pregnant and Jack is determined to raise the child even if it isn't his. "I hate that woman," muttered MJ and Phyllis added that she wished "the earth would open up and it would just suck" Sharon in. Phyllis then became a little unnerved when MJ joked that they could kill Sharon.
At the ranch, Adam listened in as Victor told Nick that he wanted his son to go on a business trip to New York that very night. Nick admitted the timing was bad because he and Phyllis were having problems. Nick then confirmed that Sharon is pregnant but Victor advised him to save his marriage. After Nick left, Victor found Ashley at the statue and announced that he had to go out of town on business
As Billy ordered a drink at the G.C.A.C., he saw Jack and apologized again for sleeping with Sharon. Billy also mentioned that he confessed to Chloe and will be looking for a new place for them to move into. Jack pushed Billy to get his own place first and prove that he can be a responsible family man.
Nikki told Nick that she saw Ashley talking to Sabrina's statue. "Something's not right," Nikki worried. Nick mentioned that Victor was going out of town so he'll try to keep an eye on Ashley. Nick went home where Phyllis waited for him. "You said earlier that you'd figured out whether or not you want to stay married to me," she reminded. "What's your decision?"
Sharon came home to find Chloe packing up. Chloe announced that Billy confessed everything. Sharon apologized then slipped that she and Billy had sex on his wedding day. Chloe was rightfully peeved and stormed out. Close up on Sharon's troubled face.
Friday
As a major thunderstorm moved over Genoa City, Jack went to the ranch to check on Ashley. Upstairs, Ashley was having a nightmare about Sabrina and woke up screaming. Jack rushed to his sister's side. Ashley shuddered that she dreamed that a veiled Sabrina "wanted to hurt me and the baby." Ashley also recalled that Sabrina was wearing the purple dress that Ashley was mysteriously given. Adam listened outside the door as Jack consoled his freaked-out sister but when she found out that Olivia dispatched him, Ashley
demanded that he leave. Jack wanted to take Ashley home but she refused, then an "emergency" call came that compelled Jack to leave. Before departing, Jack grabbed Adam and warned that he's responsible for Ashley's welfare.
Gloria had second thoughts about blackmailing the great Victor Newman but Jeffrey assured their get-rich-quick scheme will work. Jeff revealed that he has a private investigator tailing Mary Jane. He got a phone call that Vic
took off on a business trip and MJ was alone at the club. Glo and Jeff rushed over there. At the G.C.A.C., Mary Jane blasted Sharon for ruining people's lives. "I don't think that you and I have anything else to say to each other," Sharon huffed but when she tried to leave, MJ grabbed her. Sharon threatened to call security. Paul and Nikki intervened but MJ
blabbed, "What is this spell that you cast over men that Jack is willing to throw away his whole future to take care of a baby that probably isn't even his?" MJ stalked away, leaving Nikki shocked to hear that Sharon is pregnant.
Nick told a brokenhearted Phyllis that their marriage "isn't working anymore." Nick pointed out that they need to discuss "living and monetary arrangements" but Phyllis wanted to leave that to their lawyers. He tried to claim that Sharon isn't the reason for leaving but Phyllis forced him to finally admit that "this is about Sharon, whether I want to admit it or
not." As Phyllis reeled, Nick explained how she helped him get through the pain of losing Cassie. Phyl ordered her husband to leave.
Nikki was suspicious when Gloria approached and expressed concern about Ashley. Nikki then observed Jeff at the bar trying to flirt with an uninterested Mary Jane. Nikki surmised that Glo was trying to exact revenge on Ashley but Mrs. Bardwell objected to such a charge.
Paul checked on Mary Jane at her room, where she explained that women who string men along rile her. Paul remarked, "There is something inside of me that is telling me I should care." Jeffrey spied Paul leaving MJ's room, then Jeff rushed back to Gloria and reported that Williams is sleeping with Victor's mistress.
Phyllis summoned Jack and told him that Nick left her. She predicted to Jack that Sharon and Nick will soon "be ripping each other's clothes off." Bitter Phyllis and a shell shocked Jack started drinking. They stewed about their ruined relationships, then began to kiss passionately. As Jack and
Phyllis ripped each other's clothes off, Mary Jane watched from the window and was obviously enraged.
Sharon decided to stay at the G.C.A.C. and encountered Nick checking into his room. He invited her in, and Mary Jane saw Sharon go into Nick's room. Inside, Nick announced that he is in love with Sharon. She didn't believe him at first but Nick insisted he wanted to be with "the love of my life." He kissed a confused Sharon and she melted. They hit the sheets.
Adam dismissed the housekeeper for the rest of the night.... Concerned about Ashley, Nikki headed to the ranch.... A jittery Ashley wandered out in the hallway and encountered what appeared to be a shrouded Sabrina. Ashley grabbed the veil to see Adam, then tumbled down the stairs. Adam was aghast; Nikki started knocking on the front door.
