Y&R Week of January 3, 2011

Monday

Billy tried to cheer up a depressed Victoria with watching an old movie but it didn't do the trick. She finally revealed that her doctor confirmed it
would almost be impossible for her to have another baby. Billy became upset
that his wife would investigate her reproductive chances without him. She
wanted to be alone and stormed out. Victoria later returned and apologized
for leaving. She admitted her devastation and Billy drew his wife into a
comforting hug. He assured that everything would work out "fine."

Kevin and Chloe told the police that they believe Jana's story that she was
overpowered by Daisy. After, Kev and Chloe decided they would take their
time in deciding how their romance should proceed. Jana interrupted them
when she asked that Kevin accompany her to the hospital to be checked out.
Chloe urged her boyfriend to go while she went home to change.

Lauren freaked when she received a text that Daisy had escaped. Michael
called Daniel and confirmed it was true. Lauren wanted to go to the hospital
immediately. Meanwhile, Daniel received word that the police were honing in
on Daisy's ankle monitor. Phyllis begged her son not let his child go into
adoption but he insisted that it was the best thing for the baby. Daniel
decided to search for Daisy and headed out. Lauren and Michael showed up and
she blasted Phyllis for the "hell you unleashed." Jana was wheeled in and
her injury only riled up Lauren even further. The ladies got in a shouting
match, with Jack and Michael trying to mediate. Daniel called with the news
that Daisy's ankle monitor was found, but she was nowhere in sight. Lauren
declared that any havoc Daisy causes will be on Phyllis's head. Michael
suggested to his wife that they go home but she wanted to stay in order to watch
Daisy being brought in.

Daisy was making a hasty getaway to Canada when she was forced to pull over
as her contractions intensified. Daniel found her in full labor but didn't
have cell phone service and couldn't make any calls. He wanted to drive
Daisy back to the office but she said it was too late.
As she was bearing down, Daisy proposed they raise their kid together but
Daniel affirmed their child was being adopted out.

Jana was diagnosed with a concussion and released. Kevin said she could come
back to his place. A police detective asked why Jana changed her testimony
against Daisy and Kevin explained his ex did it so that he would get custody
of Daisy's baby. Jana added that Daisy had threatened her and Lauren
believed her. Jack and Michael decided to search for Daisy and left.

Kevin took Jana home, then, while she was in the bathroom, he called Chloe
and thanked her for being so understanding concerning Jana. She emerged from
the bathroom in time to overhear Kev tell Chloe that he wanted to be with
her.... Jack and Michael showed Daisy's photo around the airport with no
results.... Phyllis left a message on her son's voice mail that she
supports his decision to give up his child.... Daniel was amazed as he held
his newborn daughter. While he was distracted, Daisy picked up a flashlight
and struck him.

Tuesday

At Crimson Lights, Gloria informed Jill of Daisy's escape. Meanwhile, Abby went to the hospital, but Phyllis, who was waiting for news about an injured Jana, told her that there was no news about Daniel or Daisy.... Michael and Jack searched for Daisy and Daniel outdoors. An unconscious and bleeding Daniel was on the ground in a lot.... Gloria, Jill and Lauren went to the hospital.

Leslie and Sharon met with Adam at the jail and told him that Sharon might be charged with interfering in the investigation. Adam was upset and reminded Sharon that she's not responsible for what happened to Skye.... Nick went to Newman Enterprises and asked Victor why he'd left town. Victor lied that he wanted to get away during the holidays and had gone skiing. Nick implored his father to tell the family when he leaves. Nick then called Phyllis and she told him about Daisy's escape. She was worried about Daniel.

Jack and Michael found Daniel and were relieved to feel a pulse. Michael tried to stop Daniel's head from bleeding while Jack placed a coat over him and promised to get him to a hospital.... Nick went to the hospital to check on Phyllis. Lauren then got a call from Michael about Daniel, but they were disconnected. Gloria assured Lauren that the police would find Daisy and her baby..... Daisy brought her crying baby to a church and placed her on the ground. She then hurried out, leaving the baby behind..... Daniel was wheeled into the hospital on a gurney. The doctor reported that he had a head injury. Everyone, especially Phyllis, was horrified to see him in such bad shape. The doctor informed her that in addition to the head injury, Daniel was suffering from hypothermia. Nick and Jack did their best to comfort her. Jack and Michael believed that Daniel found Daisy and had been attacked by her. Jill tried to keep a freaked out Lauren calm. Nick was sure that Daisy would be found; Phyllis vowed to "rip [Daisy] apart" if Daniel didn't make it.

At home, Cane fretted about getting all of his and Blake's work done. Sofia called and Cane assured her that Blake was doing his share of the work and would have his project completed. She asked why Blake wasn't answering his calls and demanded that Cane tell Blake to stay on track. At Crimson Lights, Colin chatted with Lily and shared that he'd been spending a lot of time with Jill. Blake looked on uncomfortably. Colin then gave Lily ideas for a trip to Australia and asked to see pictures of her twins. Cane called Blake and filled him in on the work he'd done on their project. Blake told him that if he didn't do a good job, Cane would have a problem on his hands. Later, Neil and Sofia went over "Blake's" reports and were dissatisfied with them. Sofia called Cane and asked to see him. After Lily stepped away, Colin told Blake that he was determined to see his grandchildren. When she returned, Colin invited himself over, but she asked if he could visit another time.... Cane arrived at Tucker's, where Neil and Sofia complained to him about "Blake's" work. Neil tried to call Blake, but couldn't get him, while Cane defended Blake. However, Neil demanded that Cane tell Blake that he's fired.... Colin later ran into Jill at the coffeehouse. She smiled when she saw him.

Sharon visited Victor at work and implored him to tell the truth about Skye's demise. She didn't think that he could let his own son go to jail for a crime he hadn't committed. Victor reminded her how evil Adam is, and how he stole Sharon's baby. He declared that she was sacrificing herself and her family for Adam. Sharon shared how awful it had been to watch Skye. She feared that more people would become collateral damage unless Victor made things right. He refused to help her prove Adam's innocence and urged her to come to her senses.... Leslie warned Adam that his situation hasn't gotten any better — and that the D.A was determined to get Adam that maximum sentence.... Nick returned to Newman and found Sharon in Victor's office. He informed her that he's filing for full custody of Faith.

Phyllis, Abby and Jack sat with Daniel, who was still unconscious. Abby pleaded with him to wake up.... Jack was sure that Daniel would be okay, but Phyllis feared that she'd lose him. She wondered where the baby was.... A scruffy-looking man came upon the infant in the church.... Michael received a photo of a still-pregnant Daisy on the run. The cops believed that she'd crossed the border.

Wednesday

Tucker and Ashley hit the sheets at his place, then reveled in the afterglow. She giggled as she admired her engagement ring and admitted that it still seems surreal that they’re getting married. He suggested that they start planning the wedding. She asked him what kind of wedding he wants and liked the idea of having a destination wedding in Morocco. He replied that he’d leave the planning up to her. She asked if he thought that planning a wedding was “woman’s work.” He denied it and explained that he just wants her to have it exactly how she wants it. She declared her love for him and agreed that it should be about the marriage.

Nina and Heather teased Paul as he tried to put together furniture for his daughter. Heather thanked Nina for giving her a scarf for Christmas; Nina, in turn, thanked Heather for bringing Ronan over on Christmas. Nina understood that it would take time to build a relationship with Ronan and Heather’s face clouded. There was then a knock on the door; Heather was served with papers in the case against Pomerantz and his crew.... At the station, Ronan was determined to get the maximum sentence for Pomerantz and his men. After, he got a call from his doctor, who wanted Ronan to go over documents with him. The medic warned that Ronan’s condition wasn’t looking good.

Jill and Colin met up at Crimson Lights. Katherine arrived and Jill introduced them. Colin recalled hearing Kay speak once in Australia. He then went on about how important family is and Kay eyed him suspiciously. She then asked what brought him to town and he replied that he was there to investigate a start-up company. She asked about his family and he shared that he had kin in the United States. When he took a call and stepped away, Kay warned Jill to be careful around him. Jill wondered why Kay didn’t like him; Kay explained that she had a bad feeling about Colin. Colin returned and Jill asked Kay to leave. Kay was cordial as she told him that she was looking forward to getting to know him a lot better. After, Colin found a glove, which he determined to be Lily’s.

Nina helped Paul put Heather’s gift together. He noted that she hadn’t mentioned Chance in a while and she confided that it was tough having to pretend that her son is dead. She thanked Paul for his support and noted that Ronan being in her life helped, too.... Ronan spoke on the phone with his doctor. Heather arrived at the courthouse and he hung up. She asked why he hadn’t given her a heads up about the trial and he explained that he’d just found out about it himself. Later, Ronan tried to help her go over her testimony, but she was resistant. He warned that the defense team would try to twist her words; she dreaded going through it. When Ronan’s colleague mentioned a “mystery witness,” Ronan denied knowing anything about it. Later, she became emotional as she thought about Chance. She then read over Ronan’s papers that he’d left behind and realized how dire his health situation was. When he returned to get his papers, she asked why he lied about not having family members who could be donors. He just wanted to concentrate on the case, but Heather urged him to tell Nina the truth.

At the office, Sofia and Neil blasted “Blake’s” work to Cane. Cane pleaded with them to give Blake another chance. Neil asked if Blake had a drinking problem and wondered why they couldn’t reach him. He feared that Cane wouldn’t be able to clean up his mess; Sofia offered to speak with Cane. After, she spoke with Cane alone and sensed that he was keeping something from her.... Lily spoke with a friend on the phone and gushed about how great her and Cane’s life is.... Sofia asked if Cane is covering for Blake because he’s an old friend and Cane denied it. He begged her to not tell Tucker about the lousy report and admitted that it could put his family in jeopardy. He then revealed that he’s being blackmailed. Sofia was angry with him for keeping this from her, but Cane wanted to protect his family. Sofia implored him to tell Lily the truth. Cane was sure that he could handle things.... Jill and Colin paid Lily a visit, but she said that the glove found wasn’t hers. Colin asked to meet her kids, but Lily said that they were napping. Jill beamed with pride over her family and was glad that Cane and Lily were finally getting to be happy. When he stepped away, Jill confided how much she liked Colin. Lily was happy for her.... Kay asked Paul to run a background check on Colin.

Ashley and Tucker went to the coffeehouse and informed Kay that they’re engaged. She was thrilled to have Ash join the family. Neil arrived and congratulated them, then admitted to Tucker that there was a snag in the project. Later, Ashley sat with Kay and they discussed wedding plans. Kay offered to let them have it at the Chancellor Estate and looked forward to growing closer to Ash. They wished that John could be there with them.... Cane begged Sofia to keep his secret. She was furious and refused to get involved in his mess. Still, she agreed to think about what she was going to do.... Paul made some calls to Australia.... Lily invited Colin and Jill to dinner in the near future. As they were about leave, the babies began crying and Lily went to get them. Colin smiled.... Later, Sofia interrupted a meeting between Neil, Cane and Tucker and lied that Blake has had the flu. She then presented a complete report..... Colin was thrilled to meet the babies; Lily let him hold his grandson.... Paul learned that Colin has been recently released from prison.

Thursday

Kevin cared for Jana at his place. Chloe called from Crimson Lights to check in; he asked how Daniel was doing and she replied that he was still unconscious. Kevin and Chloe were grateful that they'd finally admitted their feelings for one another, amidst all of the chaos. After, Jana awoke and complained of having a bad headache. She asked if she'd had too much champagne at dinner and apologized for fighting with him the night before. Kevin realized that something wasn't right with her.... Esther joined Chloe for coffee and wondered what would happen to Daisy's child. They hoped that Jana, Daniel and the baby would be okay. Chloe then shared that she and Kevin are now dating and Esther was thrilled.... Kevin asked Jana what she remembered about the night and she "recalled" that he'd taken her to the G.C.A.C. She then stated that there was a connection between Daisy and Ryder. Kevin asked what day she thought it was and she replied, "February 19, 2010." He insisted that she see a doctor.

At the jail, Adam spoke with Leslie and Sharon and was sure that they could find a way to prove that Skye had been in Hawaii. Leslie promised to keep him posted on what was going to happen with his case. He promised Sharon that they'd get through it somehow. She told him about Nick threatening to sue her for full custody of Faith. Adam was horrified. So was Sharon, who feared that she could lose her daughter. Adam thought that getting evidence from Victor was their best bet, but she shared that Victor had denied knowing anything.... Meanwhile, Nikki supported Nick's decision, given Sharon's recent behavior. Victor ran into Nikki at Newman Enterprises and they shared some small talk about Christmas. She shared that she was staying with Katherine and he thought that it was a good idea. They then looked at some holiday photos together and he felt badly that his children were vilifying him again. She asked if she could come by the ranch every so often to take care of some things and he agreed. She stated that the ranch was special to her, clearly indicating that she was really talking about her feelings for Victor. He eyed the family photo longingly.

Phyllis and Jack sat with a comatose Daniel at the hospital. She blamed herself for her son's condition since she'd been the one to get Daisy released. Soon, Nick arrived to check in on Phyllis and Daniel. Phyllis feared that her son would die and shared that she was thinking of Cassie. She then spoke to Daniel and regretted that their last conversation hadn't been so great. "What if he doesn't wake up?" she cried. Nick encouraged her to stay positive. Phyllis thanked her ex for being there. Nick held her as she sobbed.

Kevin spoke with a doctor at the hospital. The doc noted that she's suffered a lot of brain damage and agreed to examine her. Jana still believed that she was just suffering from a hangover, but agreed to get tests done. Kevin promised to wait for her in the lobby. He called Chloe and filled her in on what was happening with his ex. Chloe hurried to meet him and wondered if Jana's amnesia was for real. The doctor then called them in to discuss her test results; Jana was surprised to see Chloe. Chloe ran into Nick and Phyllis and said that his friends are praying for him.... The doctor told Jana the correct date and believed that her problems were psychological. He advised that Kevin "humor" her and pretend that he and Jana are still married. Kevin felt obligated to help her and was sure that he and Chloe could handle it.... Alone, Jana revealed that she was faking her amnesia and was grateful to have her husband back.

Jack went to the coffeehouse to order lunch. Sharon ran into him and asked about Daniel. She then insisted that her story about Skye was the truth. "Why do you care what I think?" he asked. She explained that she needed to prove that Adam hadn't murdered Skye if she wanted to keep her daughter. Jack listened as she recounted how she'd watched Skye die. She wished that one person would believe her and added that Adam believes that Victor set him up. Sharon implored Jack to find out what had really happened. Later, Jack paid Adam a visit and questioned him about Skye. Adam stated that Victor had set him up. Jack asked how Victor had managed to mastermind Skye's disappearance -- and why he'd want to do this. Adam theorized that Victor's "business trip" was bogus and that the blood found in Skye's room had been a plant. Jack wondered why she'd go along; Adam replied that she'd just lost the Newman Fund and needed the cash. Adam reminded Jack how Victor had taken Jack for millions. Sharon arrived and thanked Jack for coming. "I didn't do this for you," he replied coldly.... Leslie later informed Adam that Vance was dropping him as a client. He and Sharon believed that Jack is their only hope.

Jack returned to the hospital and met up with Phyllis and Nick. When she stepped away, Jack told Nick about his meeting with Adam. Nick laughed at the idea that Victor would frame Adam, but Jack was beginning to wonder if it was true. Nick argued that Victor and Skye couldn't even get along when they'd been trapped in an elevator. Jack asked Nick to get the security footage of that encounter. Nick called a contact and requested the footage, but implored the person to keep his request secret.

Friday

At Crimson Lights, Ronan made a call to his doctor, but abruptly hung up when Nina arrived. She thanked him for coming by on Christmas and reminded him that he's always welcome to visit, then invited him to dinner.

Heather found Nick at the coffeehouse and gave him a package from his assistant. He opened it and found the photos of Skye and Victor in the elevator that he'd asked for. He eyed them and realized that something was amiss.... Jack went to Newman Enterprises to question Victor about Skye. Victor insisted that he didn't know anything about her disappearance, but Jack had a hunch that Adam hadn't murdered her after all. Victor denied, denied, denied, but Jack wondered why Skye's body had never been found. Newman accused his rival of being "melodramatic." Jack wasn't fazed and went on about how he'd made some calls and suspected that Victor had financed Skye's move to Hawaii. Victor called him crazy, but Jack was certain that something fishy was going on. "I don't give a damn about Skye," Victor growled once more. Jack was prepared to do some digging in Hawaii. Victor pretended to not care. After, Jack and Nick met up in the office hallway, but Nick wouldn't let him go through Newman's security footage. Jack understood.

At the hospital, Abby read a celebrity tabloid to a comatose Daniel, hoping that it would wake him up (because he's really that interested in John Mayer's love life). Phyllis joined her and shared that Daisy hasn't been found in Canada. She and Abby suspected that Daisy had already had her baby, which was why she was able to get away. Phyllis shared that she was eager to find Daisy and torture her, then thanked Abby for caring so much for Daniel. Abby was determined for him to wake up so they could have a happy ending. Phyllis offered to keep vigil while Abby went home to clean up; Abby accepted and left. Phyllis then told Daniel that she was nice to Abby just for him. Jack soon joined her and comfortingly put his arms around her shoulders. He filled her in on his meeting with Victor and his plans to travel to Hawaii. Phyllis begged him not to and he promised to stay put.

A couple named Burt and Agnes cared for the abandoned baby. For some reason, a bucket of fried chicken sat on their fireplace mantle. Anyway, the wife didn't like his idea to sell the child and bristled when he called the little girl, "It." She wanted to call the authorities, but Burt was eager to get a monetary reward for saving the infant's life. Later, a woman visited them and paid them for the child. Agnes shared that she was calling the girl, "Rose," and the woman promised that the infant would be someone's treasure.

Victoria left a message for Reed. Billy came home and she broke down over not having another child in her life while her only son was away. She confided how angry she is at herself for miscarrying and then not getting pregnant again. Billy urged her not to blame herself, but she did. "I'm just gonna have Reed," she sighed. Yikes — poor Reed! She continued to cry over not having another kid and stormed upstairs. After, Billy let out a huge sigh and made a call. He then met up with Rafe at Crimson Lights and asked if he and Victoria could "fast track" an adoption. Rafe warned that there could be problems in doing this, but Billy didn't care. Rafe reluctantly made some calls and asked why this was so important to Billy. Billy explained his wife's baby fever and Rafe felt badly for her. The lawyer agreed to represent Billy and find him a child. Later, Billy met with an agent, who refused to divulge his name. The man revealed that he knew a broker and wanted the money upfront. Billy asked if he could make the connection that night.... Abby went to Victoria's so she could take a break from the drama. Victoria poured them dome drinks and encouraged Abby to tell her about her bad day. Abby suggested that they just wallow in their sorrows. "To wallowing!" they toasted — but neither liked the hard liquor..... Billy went to see the broker, Primrose, and asked if she had what he needs. "If the price is right," she replied.

Heather joined Ronan at the coffeehouse. Before stepping away, Nina asked Heather to get him to meet her for dinner. After, Heather asked Ronan if he'd handed in the paperwork for his liver transplant; he shared how great the odds were that he'd even find a match. She urged him to find a living donor, but he didn't want to tell Nina. Heather asked if his father was alive and he said that he was not. Ronan didn't want anyone to have to risk his or her life to save him. Later, Heather asked to meet with Nina and revealed that Ronan is sick. Nina was devastated.

Nick went to see his father and showed him the elevator photos. "What exactly is going on between you and Skye?" Nick asked. Victor became furious and asked if Jack had put him up to it. He then went on a rant about how all of his kids were going against him. Nick insisted on knowing more to the story, but Victor just reminded him how he was trying to protect Nick and Faith from Adam. After, Nick found Jack at the coffeehouse and showed him the pics. Jack thanked him, then booked a flight to Hawaii after all.... Victor called Koa and warned that people were coming to seek information. Koa promised to not give anything away.

Daniel finally woke up and Phyllis called for doctor. She explained to him that he'd hit his head. "Daisy," he murmured.
