Monday
Billy brought the baby home and introduced her to Victoria. However, Victoria feared that the adoption wasn't on the up-and-up. Billy tried to calm her concerns by showing her the papers. Victoria was afraid to fall in love with the baby, only to get her heart broken later on, but Billy stated that the child was theirs to love. Later, Victoria realized that all of the secret calls and meetings Billy had been involved with had to do with the baby. Billy admitted that he hadn't been sure if the "facilitator" would be able to get them the kid. Victoria still didn't believe that their adoption was legal, but Billy didn't want to put the child into the system. He was glad that he'd taken a "shortcut" to get them the baby, but she was wary. "This baby needs a mom and a dad to love her," he declared. Victoria wanted to know why her parents gave her up. After, Billy sang to the baby and fed the baby a bottle. When the baby wouldn't stop crying, Victoria held the child and began to bond with her.
Meanwhile, a cop questioned Daniel about Daisy at the hospital, but he couldn't remember all of the details. Phyllis implored the officer not to push him. Chloe and Kevin visited Daniel and told him and Phyllis about Jana's "memory loss." Kevin felt badly for Jana. Daniel was pleased to learn that Chloe and Kevin were dating. Kevin was sure that he could soon stop pretending to be Jana's husband. Later, Phyllis brought a shaky Daniel home from the hospital and was prepared to take care of him. She became emotional as she reminded her son how much she loves him. Daniel was confident that they'd find Daisy and the baby. Later, he sadly looked at the baby drawing that Daisy had sketched.
Nina pleaded with Christine to see if Chance could be tested as a liver donor for Ronan.... At the station, Heather kept pushing Ronan to admit that Chance is alive; he finally gave in and revealed that Chance is in the Witness Protection Program. Soon, Christine and Nina entered and Heather immediately let them know that she knew about Chance. Nina was okay with this, but Christine was furious. She was also angry with Ronan for not telling her about his health problems. Nina urged them to get in touch with Chance, for Ronan's sake, since she's not a match. Ronan didn't want Chance to get tested. Later, Chris spoke with Ronan privately about his illness; he insisted that he was getting it treated, but she relieved him from active duty. Meanwhile, Nina pointed out to Heather that even if Chance can help Ronan, it wouldn't mean that Chance was back in their lives for good. Heather and Nina were shocked at Ronan's firing. After he stormed out, Nina lashed out at Chris, explaining that he now had no reason to stay in town.
A shrink came to meet with Jana at Kevin's place. Jana eavesdropped as he lamented about his situation to her. After, Jana met with the psychiatrist and recalled being trapped in the cage by Daisy and Ryder. She also noted that she and Kevin share a deep connection, despite the shrink pointing out that Kevin and Jana's relationship has changed. Meanwhile, Chloe lamented to Esther how she and Kevin had to sneak around so Kevin could pretend that he and an "amnesiac" Jana are still married. Later, Kevin and Chloe made out like teenagers in his car, where Jana couldn't see them. After,s Chloe met up with her mother at Crimson Lights; Esther offered to help them sneak around, but Chloe turned her down, confident that she and Kevin would be together for real.... Kevin returned home and the shrink informed him that he still had to pretend to be Jana's husband for the time being.
Tuesday
At the Newman Ranch, Diane and Nick smooched. Victor asked Nick to meet with him and informed his son that Adam is out of jail. Nick didn't think that there was anything he could do about it. Victor then told him that Adam is moving in with Sharon. Nick was furious. Diane overheard and wondered what was going on. She couldn't believe that Sharon was bringing Adam home to live with her and felt badly that Victor had to deal with it. Victor was cheered up when Diane offered to make him dinner.
At Sharon's place, Adam made himself at home, while Sharon helped him unpack. Adam felt vindicated for beating Victor at his own game, but feared that Sharon and Nick would be involved in a custody battle. Sharon was ready to stand by her man. Soon, Nick stopped by, ready to have it out. Sharon stated that Adam's name has been cleared. Nick didn't care and didn't want Adam near Faith. "Thanks for making my custody case that much easier," Nick snarled before leaving. He called Victor and lamented that his meeting with Sharon didn't go well. Victor promised to support Nick. After, Victor complained to Diane that Sharon's behavior was "inexplicable." When he stepped away, Diane called Nick to see if he was okay. She hoped that she'd be able to get over to the tack house later that night.
Victoria and Billy continued to care for and bond with the baby. They wondered what to call her. He suggested Mary, Betty, Trixie or Candice, but Victoria wasn't sold. She became emotional as she realized that they were naming the baby. "Promise me that no one is going to try to take her back," she pleaded. "I swear, she's ours," he promised.
Abby went to Daniel's, where they dined on lasagna. Abby admitted that she'd missed hanging out with him. After, they snuggled in his bed together and enjoyed each other's company. She offered to do his dishes and take out his trash — but refused to scour his toilets. Daniel told her that she was incredible and she implored him not to tell anyone that she did housework. She then became serious and admitted she really cares about him. They kissed and she planned to stay the night. He admitted that he's freaked out by the fact that he can't remember what happened the night he found Daisy. They feared that Daisy would show up someday when they least expected it. She suggested that they take all of Daisy's stuff to Goodwill. Daniel eyed Daisy's baby drawing and wasn't sure what to do with it. He began to remember bits of the night he'd found Daisy and hoped that it would come rushing back. Abby wasn't so sure that his memory would work that way. He tossed the drawing into the trash.
At the G.C.A.C., Phyllis confided in Jack about her problems. She blamed herself for getting Daniel hurt since she'd tried to get Daisy's baby. Jack noted that she'd only done this because she was trying to do what was best for her son. After, he filled her in on his adventures in Hawaii; she laughed as she pictured him as a surfer dude. They were interrupted when she got a call from Billy about Restless Style. Jack offered to pick up Summer while she took care of business. Phyllis called him a "peach."
Phyllis went to Billy and Victoria's and was surprised to see the baby. They explained how it had been a last-minute adoption. Phyllis hadn't realized that they were intending to adopt, but was happy for them. Later, they admired the baby's red hair and decided to call her "Lucy" after I LOVE LUCY.... Phyllis called Jack and told him about the Abbotts' new daughter.
Jack brought Summer to Nick's, so Nick and Diane agreed to meet up another time. Nick thanked Jack and asked if he could stick around. Nick went to give Faith her bath, while Jack volunteered to play with Summer. Later, Nick and Jack talked about Sharon; Nick wished she wouldn't give Adam another chance....Victor and Diane went over their newest business venture. She warned that his plans were ambitious, but he was sure that she could handle it. The discussion again turned to Sharon; Victor believed that her decision to support Adam would come back to bite her. Victor revealed that he had plans for Adam.... Sharon thanked Adam for being the only one who's treated her like a competent adult. They snuggled by the fire and looked forward to their future. As jazzy sax music played, they undressed and began to make love.
Wednesday
At Crimson Lights, Chloe called Kevin to ask if he could stop pretending to be Jana's husband. Kevin sadly replied that the shrink thought that he needed to keep up the ruse, for Jana's sake. Jana eavesdropped as Kevin was on the phone. Chloe didn't think that the situation was good for any of them. Kevin planned to take Jana to the theater where she'd been when she was kidnapped, in hopes of jogging her memory. While there, Jana went on about how much she loved watching movies with him. She grabbed his arm and pulled it around him, but he bolted out of his seat so he could get popcorn. On the way, he passed by Chloe, who was sitting in the back of the theater. "You're really hot when you're conniving," she cooed. Later, Chloe tossed popcorn at the back of Jana's head and Jana began to complain of a headache. "I remember," Jana announced. She asked if Kevin knew the same movie had been playing and accused him of trying to trick her. Kevin denied it and took her home. Chloe met up with Esther at Crimson Lights and complained about the situation. Esther suggested that they sneak out to a romantic getaway and Chloe liked the idea.... Jana recalled that she'd been in a cage, screaming for Kevin to save her, then declared her love for him. He comforted her and she asked him to make love.
Heather paid Christine a visit at the station and pleaded with her to give Ronan back his job. She noted that if Chris lets him go, he won't have anyone to care for him if he gets sick. Chris still didn't want to rehire him. Meanwhile, Nina stopped by Ronan's apartment and insisted that he let her help him out. She thought that Chris had been out of line for firing him, but Ronan was stoic about the situation. Nina begged him to get in touch with Chance so they could see if he was a liver donor match, but Ronan refused. He just wanted to enjoy the time he has left and advised Nina to find a way to let him go. Nina tearfully stated that she couldn't do that and Ronan declared that she's a wonderful woman and mother. Nina encouraged him to be afraid and angry about his illness, rather than staying so calm and practical. "Please let me be here for you," she cried and pulled him into an embrace.
Paul showed Kay his background check on Colin, which said that Colin had been in jail for tax evasion. Paul didn't think that he was dangerous, but Kay had a bad feeling about him and was determined to protect Jill.... Jill and Colin snuggled in bed after having enjoyed the night together.... Cane and Sofia met at the G.C.A.C. She was determined to fix the mess involving Blake. Blake soon arrived and Sofia called him out for being a fake. After, Sofia promised that she and Cane would do "James Collier's" work together in order to keep Cane out of trouble. Cane asked why she was going out of her way for him. Sofia shared that someone had once helped her out and she was paying it forward. Cane flashed back to his life in Australia — with a woman.
Paul ran into Chris at the coffeehouse. They sat and discussed the Nina and Ronan situation.... Heather stopped by Ronan's and Nina left them alone to talk. Heather apologized for getting him fired, but he just shrugged it off. She insisted that he let her make her full apology and she acknowledged that she has a bad habit of pushing too hard. She tried to explain how she'd fallen in love with Chance, only to have him taken from her. Heather admitted that she now wanted to have a relationship with Ronan. "I can't lose you, too," she sobbed. "Please tell me that you forgive me." When he didn't say anything, she became angry; he grabbed her and they kissed. He then pulled back and asked her to leave. Heather left his place, stunned. Nina joined Paul and Chris and told them that she hasn't given up on her son. Chris finally gave in and agreed to find Chance if Ronan signed off on it.... Ronan packed a bag and made a call to someone, saying that he was leaving town.
Kay went upstairs and realized that Colin had stayed over. She barged into Jill's room and asked if Jill was out of her mind. Colin emerged wearing Jill's neon-pink robe, making a giddy Jill crack up. Kay was not amused and asked how he'd ended up in prison. He replied that he'd "crossed the line" in business. Kay didn't buy it and suspected that there was more to his story. Jill demanded that Kay butt out. Kay vowed to get the dirt on Colin, but he and Jill weren't fazed. After Colin left, the ladies continued to bicker about him. Jill upset Kay by going on about hot she thought Colin was.
Colin went to the club and overheard Cane speaking to his twins. Blake filled in Colin on his earlier encounter with Sofia.... Paul met with Kay at the Chancellor Estate. Jill blasted Kay for hiring Paul, but Paul warned that Colin is dangerous. Jill didn't care and planned to continue seeing Colin. Kay angrily stated that she was going to get "that thug" out of Genoa City.... Cane thanked Sofia for being there for him. After she left, Colin and Blake approached him; Colin shared that he'd held his grandchild and added that he could get used to a place like Genoa City.
Thursday
Sharon returned home with two huge bags of groceries. Adam happily greeted her and looked forward to making her dessert. She became pensive, though, as she thought about Nick wanting to take Faith from her. Sharon called Nick so she could plan her next visit with Faith; he refused to schedule anything until the judge made a ruling. Meanwhile, Victor doted on his granddaughter and assured Nick that everything would work out.
Lily ran into Blake at the G.C.A.C and revealed that she was surprising Cane with a night at the club. Blake offered to help her make he plans. Meanwhile, Cane told Colin that he didn’t want him in town. Jill interrupted, eager to spend more time with her new beau. Cane advised her not to rush things and Jill wondered if he’d been talking to Katherine. When Jill stepped away to take a call, Cane warned his father not to use her. Colin stated that he cares for Jill and thought that he could get her to marry him. Cane threatened to tell Jill everything, but Colin noted that Cane had more to lose if he spoke up. Jill returned and asked Cane to clarify what he’d meant before.... Blake and Lily bonded as he helped her choose an appropriate wine for the evening. When they went to leave, they realized that they were trapped in the wine cellar. Blake called for help. They tried to use their cell phones, but didn’t get a signal. Blake suggested that they enjoy some wine while they wait for someone to find them — and impressed Lily by opening the bottle with his shoe! They drank and Lily filled him in on how she’d planned to bring "Paris" to Genoa City for Cane. She then noted that she wished she’d known more about Cane before he came to the United States and Blake mentioned a "Samantha." Lily asked who she was and Blake tried to evade the question. Just then, they were found by an employee and let out. Upstairs, Jill asked Cane to try to get along with Colin, but he refused. Cane thought about Samantha dying and suddenly lashed out at Colin. When Lily and Blake returned, they found Cane and Colin in the middle of a heated argument. Lily wondered what was going on and Cane explained that he was "under pressure." Lily led him away and they looked forward to spending time alone. First, she asked him who Samantha is. Cane shared that she was his sister and had died. Lily didn’t understand why he’d never told her this and he said that it was too painful. She was tired of getting surprises in his life and made him promise that he isn’t hiding anything else from her. He promised.... Colin and Jill shared a drink at the bar and he asked what she’d say if he wanted to marry her. She was shocked, but he urged her not to think too much about it. She told him yes!
At Crimson Lights, Esther tried to help Chloe plan a romantic evening with Kevin. Chloe looked forward to spending a night at home with him watching movies.... At Kevin’s, Jana pretended to have a "breakthrough" in her memory issues and begged Kevin to make love to her. Kevin tried to get out of it, but reacted when Jana kissed him. He quickly pulled away, complaining of a sore throat. He then explained that he didn’t think that they should jump right into bed. Chloe called and they tried to come up with a way to get him away from Jana. However, Kevin didn’t like her idea to tell Jana that he’s gay. After, Jana again tried to seduce him, but he turned her down. She freaked out and demanded to know why they couldn’t be together. "Spread of disease!" Kevin nervously replied, then lied that he was impotent. Jana asked him to hold her and he agreed to that. "This is nice," she purred as they cuddled on the couch. Kevin jumped away when she tried to fondle him — informing her that he’s "gender confused." Suddenly, Esther barged in with groceries so she could cook for a "sick" Kevin. Esther made him some soup and whispered to Kevin that Chloe had a surprise for him. Kevin went to go out, presumably to get some onions for Esther, but Jana begged him to stay. Esther continued to cook and fed them the soup. A grumpy Jana asked her to leave so she and Kevin could be alone. Kevin walked Esther out and she lamented that Chloe was going to be disappointed. He asked Esther to do him a favor and deliver a gift. Esther brought it home and presented it to Chloe: it was a bag filled with stuff for a New Year’s Party. He called to wish her a "Happy new year."
An agent stopped by Sharon’s to question her and Adam about Skye. Sharon filled him in on how she’d tracked down Skye in Hawaii and watched her rival die in a volcano. The agent tried to twist her words to paint Sharon as being upset that Skye was in paradise while Adam was in jail. A furious Adam realized that the man wanted to accuse Sharon of Skye’s murder. Sharon insisted that she hadn’t pushed Skye into the volcano and suggested that the man talk to Victor instead. Later, the agent questioned Victor and he lied that he’d been to Asia and then Europe — and even offered to show the flight plans. He denied ever having been in Hawaii. Nick backed up his father. The agent asked if Sharon has a vendetta against Victor; Nick was furious that Sharon had sent the agent over to the ranch.... Sharon ranted to Adam about how it wouldn’t be good for Faith to not have her mother in her life. Soon, Leslie and Michael called Sharon and Nick with a decision in the custody battle: Nick was not awarded full custody. Nick and Victor thought the decision was "ridiculous," but Sharon soon came for her daughter and demanded that Nick hand her over.
Friday
At the Chancellor Estate, Nina and Paul discussed Ronan and his illness. Paul shared that he had himself tested to see if he could be a liver donor and Nina was extremely touched. Paul felt badly that he wasn't a match, but she appreciated the gesture. Paul also offered to give Ronan a job. He couldn't understand why Christine fired him. Nikki arrived and shared an awkward hello with Paul. Nina made a gracious exit so the exes could catch up. Nikki sincerely told Paul that she's happy for him and Nina; Paul replied that he wanted to see Nikki happy, as well.... Outside the estate, Heather filled in Chris on her disastrous talk with Ronan. Heather asked Chris how Chance was doing and if he knew about Ronan's illness, but they were interrupted by Paul and Nikki. After Nikki left, they all went inside and Nina revealed to Paul that Chance is alive. Paul wasn't that surprised since he'd suspected that something was fishy. Chris shared that Chance is indeed being tested. Nina and Heather were pleased and looked forward to telling Ronan that there was hope. Later, Nina and Paul went to see Ronan, but were greeted by a woman who revealed that he'd left. Nina feared that he'd die alone if they didn't find him.
Abby and Daniel went to Crimson Lights. He continued to hope that he could remember what had happened the night Daisy disappeared. Abby got them coffee as he tried to go over the details. Abby apologized for being selfish and leaving him when he'd needed her the most. Daniel understood why she would've been freaked out over Daisy's pregnancy. He hoped that the baby would be safe and raised by a good family. Later, Heather and Chris went to the coffeehouse and were pleased to see Daniel up and about. Chris asked about Daisy and his face clouded over. Paul called Chris and told her about Ronan leaving town. Chris and Heather were about to meet them, but two agents approached them and gave Christine some information on Skye's case.
At the Newman Ranch, Sharon and Adam confronted Nick and Victor about Faith. Nikki returned and was horrified when Nick revealed that he lost his petition for full custody. Sharon took her daughter, but Victor was certain that he could call in some favors and do something. Nikki couldn't believe that Sharon would be with the man who'd kidnapped her baby. "She gets exactly what she deserves," Victor sneered.... Sharon and Adam returned to her place and played with Faith. Adam was impressed with Sharon for standing up for herself. "We won," she stated. "There's not anything that anyone can do about it." Faith giggled and cooed as they goofed around with her, while Adam thanked Sharon for giving him a second chance. He vowed to prove to her and Faith that he deserved it. Sharon requested that he forget about the past and stop plotting revenge. Adam was willing to let things end in is feud with Victor, but noted that it wasn't entirely up to him... Victor made some calls on Nick's behalf.
Billy and Victoria enjoyed spending time with baby Lucy. Victoria wanted to plan a "debut" for their baby, but Billy thought that they should be prepared to explain to people how they got her. Victoria called Abby, Nick and Nikki and asked them to come over for a "surprise." They wondered what was going on and hurried over there. Victoria then introduced them to Lucy. Her family gushed over the baby as Victoria and Billy explained how they'd adopted her. Nikki held Lucy and asked if Victoria had called Victor; she replied that she hadn't because she didn't want any negativity around the baby. Meanwhile, Abby invited Daniel over to share in the wonderful surprise. Holding the baby, Daniel began to remember back to when he'd delivered Daisy's child.
Paul, Heather and Nina went to the bus station and found Ronan buying a ticket out of town. She sat down next to him and pleaded with him to stay in town and let her be a part of his life. Nina then revealed that Chance was being tested, but Ronan just shrugged it off. He asked her to butt out, but she refused and reminded him how many people love him. She also urged him not to give up and to fight his disease. They embraced.
Nick and Sharon dined at the G.C.A.C and toasted to their future. Victor arrived and glowered at them. "We were just toasting to you," Adam cracked, but Victor wasn't amused. Victor warned Sharon about choosing Adam, but she was sick of hearing from him and asked to be left alone. Victor warned that her world would come crashing down. Sharon didn't understand how Victor could hate his own son. Adam asked Victor to leave, but just then, Chris arrived with the agents. They arrested Sharon for Skye's murder.
