Monday
Jack and Ashley prepared to meet with Tucker to discuss buying Jabot. Jack was confident that no one had outbid them for the company. Tucker soon arrived and informed them that someone had outbid them. "What? Who?" Jack demanded to know.... Meanwhile, in Victor's office, he and Nick raised a champagne toast to buying Jabot and one-upping Jack. Nick said that he knew how badly he'd feel if he lost Newman Enterprises. Victor replied that it was "business" and would help get back Chancellor Industries for Kay. Adam then arrived to join in the party. Victor informed Adam that the entire ruse that he'd been involved in, including working for Tucker and the staged public fight with Victor, was Nick's brainchild.
Neil and Kay dined at the athletic club. Neil informed her that he has people digging into Tucker's past. Jill ran into them and Kay announced that she's firing her. Jill was shocked, but Kay reminded her that Jill betrayed her. Neil backed Kay. Jill pleaded with Katherine not to do this, but Kay stated that Jill will never work for her again. Neil then got a call that Jabot had been sold.
At the Chancellor Estate, Chance made some calls to find out about the intruder and was obsessed with getting answers. Chloe joined him, but he blew her off. She suggested that they talk about him being so upset. Billy arrived and told Chloe that he was about to go on a short business trip. He asked her to run Restless Style while he's gone. She was surprised and he reminded her that it's the "new and improved Billy Abbott." She was pleased that they were in such a good place as exes and believed that he could make a girl lucky. Billy kissed Cordelia and replied that she's the only girl he needs in his life. Chloe believed that someone was messing with Chance.
Jack and Ashley were outraged that Jabot was sold to Victor. Jack accused Tucker of telling Victor how much they bid so he could top it. Tucker insisted that Victor won Jabot fair and square. "I should've known I was being played," Jack seethed, almost in tears. "I let my guard down. That will never happen again.".... Adam asked why Victor didn't tell him that Nick was behind the plan. Victor explained that he didn't think that his sons could work together. They reminded him that Adam and Victor are still supposed to be at odds, so Adam returned to "work" with McCall. Nick didn't think it was a good idea to tell Adam the truth, but Victor stated that he's in control.... Kay and Neil wondered why Tucker sold Jabot to Victor.
Kay returned home and found Chance going through some forensic photos from the break-in. He believed that the person was trying to go after him by going through his family. Kay urged him to let his loved ones support him. Chance admitted that not being able to figure out the case was driving him crazy, and that he suspects that his co-workers are trying to cover up something. She insisted that he reach out for help if he's in over his head. Later, Chance apologized to Chloe for brushing her off and shared his suspicions about the case.
Sharon helped Noah pack for his semester in Paris. Nick later joined them and Noah filled them in on how someone is trying to frame Eden. His parents reminded him that he's going to school to study, and that they trust him.... Nick blamed Sharon and Adam for driving their son away. Sharon replied that she and Nick were the ones who were at fault, not Adam. Noah told his mom that he's proud of her for coming back stronger after the past year. Later, Nick apologized to Sharon for what he'd said earlier. Sharon became emotional as she remembered the kiss that she and Nick had shared in Paris.
Adam and Billy ran into each other at the club bar. Billy taunted Adam about being the subject of his latest cover story. Adam shrugged that things aren't always what they seem. Billy warned that they would eventually find out all of Adam's dirty secrets.... Victor and Jack met up in the Jabot offices. Jack and Ashley demanded to know how he did it. Victor then told them that they were fired and had a week to get their stuff out of the Jabot offices. Ouch! Jack suspected that Victor had inside information and that's how he knew what to bid for Jabot. Victor denied this. Jack threatened to throw him out the window; Victor calmly threatened to have him removed. Jack stormed out. Ashley asked Victor if this was about her, too. "I was a fool to think that Colleen's heart would turn you into a human being," she said. Victor insisted that this was nothing personal.
Jill complained to Tucker about Kay firing her. She was stunned when he revealed that Victor bought Jabot — and Tucker refused to give her a job within Chancellor. Jill angrily reminded him that he promised her that they'd work together to take Jabot and Chancellor to new heights. Tucker shrugged and asked her to leave. "Who are you?" she whispered. "You're a strong woman. You'll land on your feet," a dismissive Tucker said. He returned to his suite where an attractive woman was waiting to enjoy a romantic evening with him.... Neil revealed to Kay that he'd learned from his sources that Tucker had somehow turned a new rock band into an overnight sensation. They wondered how McCall had managed to do that and believed that if they found the answer, they'd know how to fight back.... Jill went to the club to drown her sorrows and ran into Billy. She confided in him about her troubles with Kay and Tucker. Billy made her smile by promising to take her out to dinner after he returned from his business trip.
Adam got a call from an old Harvard buddy who informed him that a "smoking hot redhead" was asking about Adam at the school. Adam realized that it was Phyllis. Later, Adam returned home and informed Sharon that they're taking an impromptu honeymoon.
Jack went to clean out his office and apologized out loud to his late father. Ashley joined him and he vowed to get back at Victor.... Nick asked Victor who's going to be running Jabot, but Victor said that he'd have to wait to find out. Newman then made a cryptic phone call, asking someone to call him back as soon as possible.
Tuesday
Katherine visited Tucker and asked why he wasn't celebrating Victor's purchase of Jabot. She noted that Victor getting her company was a win-win situation. Tucker was stoic as he said that he was pleased with the sale. Kay gloated about how his plan to punish her by taking Chancellor Industries wouldn't work. "The fact is, I gave you away," she said. "And there is nothing that either one of us can do to change that." Tucker insisted that they don't share a history, but Kay pressed him to talk about it. "Whatever fantasy you think you had about the life you were denied, get over it," she urged. He replied that she's the one who keeps bringing it up. She told him that she's never been defeated and never will be. "I've always come back swinging," she assured him. McCall chuckled out loud at her bravado.
Meanwhile, Jack made some calls from what was about to be his former office to see if he could find out how much Victor bid and if he'd gotten inside information. Victor arrived at Jabot to introduce Jack to Jabot's new ambassadress — Gloria! Jack's mouth fell open. Needless to say, he was less than thrilled about her representing the company. Gloria argued that she'll show women that they can bounce back. "Are you kidding me?" Jack asked Victor. "He's using you to get at me," Jack warned Gloria. Gloria was confident that she'd do a great job. Victor taunted Jack by offering to show Glo the executive suites, then reminded Jack how he'd promised to make his life a living hell. "This is just the beginning," Newman vowed. Jack sarcastically suggested that Victor just give Gloria his old office. "You think I'm finished with you, Jack?" asked Victor. "I've only just begun." Jack pretended not to be fazed and reminded him that he has Colleen's heart. "Shame we didn't give you her conscience, too," he snapped. Victor pointed out that Jack has done his share of shady things, too.
At Crimson Lights, Amber happily informed Daniel that her mom let her talk to Little D, and that he seemed to be in good shape. Daniel was glad for her, but her face fell when he said that they weren't ready for kids. Amber admitted that she is ready. "I loved being a mommy," she explained. Daniel became visibly nervous. "Something happens when you become a parent and your whole mind rearranges itself," she assured him. He wasn't convinced, but Amber feared that given her problems with miscarriages, they should start trying early. Daniel pointed out that they didn't have enough money to afford a kid and reiterated that he's not ready to be a dad. Daisy overheard them arguing and smiled. She approached Daniel and thanked him for letting her borrow his camera. Amber left and Daisy showed him her photos of the full moon. Daniel was impressed. She then asked if he could help her take better photos, and he agreed.
J.T told Mac that Victoria is stuck in LaGuardia Airport in New York and hasn't come home from Dubai yet. They ordered in pizza together. Meanwhile, Victoria headed to an airport bar that was mysteriously decorated for St. Patrick's day even though it wasn't yet Valentine's Day, and ordered a green beer. Who should happen to be at the same airport, but Billy, who was on his way home from his business trip. He was accompanied by a huge stuffed dog. "How was Dublin?" he asked in an Irish accent, trying to be friendly. "Dubai," she corrected, then asked who his "friend" was. He explained that it was a gift for Cordelia. She then revealed that it was her anniversary with J.T and joked that Billy could write a story for Restless Style about how she was spending it drinking alone. She asked if he'd ruined any lives while she was away; he showed her the newest issue with Victor on the cover.... J.T showed Mac the anniversary gift he'd gotten his wife and confessed that Reed seems to be the only thing that's keeping them together lately. Mac thought that it was great that they were fighting to stay together for their son.... Victoria was furious to see the cover with Victor. Billy urged her to read the article, but she refused. He explained that Victor willingly gave the interview, but she didn't believe him. She finally took a look and realized that it was an article about Adam. She refused to comment, but Billy stated that her eyes said she loved it. "You quote my eyes and I will sue your ass," she threatened, then stormed out. "I think she likes us," Billy said to his stuffed pal.... J.T asked if Mac was having second thoughts about her breakup with Billy. She admitted that he's hard to get over.... In the airport, Victoria explained that she got up because a guy pinched her. Billy teased her about not wearing green and she actually laughed. They later shared some food together, while back home, Mac and J.T played a board game.
Kay paid Victor a visit and asked how he managed to get Jabot. He replied that he spent a "ridiculous amount of money" and planned to turn it back over to her. Kay lamented about how Tucker didn't about their history.... Tucker stared at a large binder full of notes, then angrily threw it on his desk.... Gloria excitedly told Victor that she's "bursting" with ideas, but he brushed her off.... Jack was shocked when he learned how much Victor bid through one of his business sources. "Why would he do that?" he asked. "It doesn't make any sense.".... Victor stopped by Tucker's suite. Tucker noted that Victor might not be so eager to give Jabot back to Chancellor because he could get money from it. Victor hinted that buying Jabot will prove to be a very good investment for him "down the road." Meanwhile, Jack warned Kay not to count on Victor to get her company back. "Victor Newman is a scorpion," Jack declared.
After seeing Victor, Kay met Amber at the coffeehouse. Amber feared that she and Daniel won't make it since they have different plans regarding kids. Kay pointed out that he could be ready for kids in a few years and reminded Amber how young she still is.... Daniel showed Daisy how to shoot photos. Daisy asked him why Amber was so ticked off, then confessed that she's never had a boyfriend. Daniel was surprised. Daisy explained that the high school boys she knew were too immature. Daniel said that she shouldn't be in a rush to date, then left to go home to Amber. Daisy's face fell as he departed. He returned and made up with Amber. Meanwhile, Daisy gazed at photos of Daniel in her camera.
Wednesday
Billy returned from his business trip and was surprised to find Mac and Chloe hanging out together with Delia at Crimson Lights. Chloe wondered aloud why she'd agreed to plan Jack and Emily's wedding, which was at the same time as Delia's first birthday. Billy gave Delia her huge stuffed dog and went to also give her a tiara, but the headpiece was missing from his bag. After, Billy and Chloe discussed the magazine and she suggested that Restless Style do a piece on dysfunctional families, featuring Billy and Jack. Billy wasn't so sure. Chloe encouraged him to make amends with his brother.
Turns out the tiara accidentally ended up in Victoria's luggage. She, too, finally made it home and eagerly greeted J.T. She wanted to see Reed, but he was already in bed. They made some small talk with her asking if Reed still had a crush on a certain girl in his day care. Victoria and J.T. had a belated anniversary celebration, where they exchanged gifts: a necklace for her and a watch for him. But when J.T. stated that he could wear the watch to work at Tucker's office, Victoria flipped out and asked how he could work for the man who took Kay's company. An argument ensued and Victoria stormed out.
Adam and Sharon enjoyed their honeymoon on St. Maarten. When she wished that they could stay there forever, Adam was seriously ready to purchase a bar on the beach and make the island their home. As tempting as this was, though, Sharon didn't think that they could forget about their obligations in Genoa City. Adam stated that he doesn't deserve her; Sharon promised that they'd always be together.
Emily and Jack were giddy as they anticipated their upcoming wedding and finalized the details. Meanwhile, Paul visited Patty at the mental hospital and was alarmed when she'd only answer to being called "Dr. Peterson." He called Emily and begged her to see Patty since Patty's new doctor was out of town and couldn't be reached. Emily reluctantly agreed to stop by.
Victoria went to the coffeehouse, where she ran into Billy. She gave him the tiara for Delia and he noticed that she'd been crying. Billy did his best to be comforting, but Victoria was reluctant to admit that they're friends. Meantime, Mac agreed to watch Reed since Victoria was gone and J.T. had to go to a meeting. J.T. confided in her about how all he and Victoria seem to do is argue. Later, Victoria came home and was surprised to see Mac there. Though she was friendly toward her, Victoria was clearly uncomfortable having J.T.'s ex watching their son. Soon J.T. came home and Mac left. "It's over, isn't it?" Victoria said sadly to J.T. regarding their marriage.
Per Chloe's encouragement, Billy went to see Jack. Jack apologized for not telling Billy about the Jabot bid and once again asked him to be his best man. Billy accepted and looked forward to "winging" his speech.... At the hospital, Emily entered Patty's cell and attempted to reach out to her patient. However, Patty lashed out at her and accused Emily of following her to Genoa City so she could steal Jack from Patty. Emily denied this, but a furious Patty slammed the doc's head into the wall and knocked her unconscious. While Em was out, Patty slipped some drugs into her water bottle. When Emily came to, Patty forced her to drink the water.
Thursday
At the mental hospital, Patty knocked out and drugged Emily, then made Emily's hair blonde so that Em looked like Patty. Meanwhile, Paul told J.T how Patty was acting like Emily when he visited her.... Patty wore Em's clothing and put a scarf over her head (to hide the blonde) and left a note in an unconscious Emily's hand. She then grabbed the doc's things and left the cell. On the way out, an orderly asked how "Patty" was doing. "Emily" replied that she was asleep.
Victor and Nikki informed Victoria of Victor's new purchase. Vic asked his daughter if she'd be Jabot's CEO until he returned the company to Kay. Victoria eagerly accepted. Still, her parents sensed that something was wrong. Vicky admitted that her marriage to J.T was ending. "I adore you. We are your family," Victor reminded her. After, Victor left a message for J.T, asking to see him.....Victoria confided in Nikki about how she missed Reed while she was away, but didn't really miss her husband.... Victor and J.T met at the club for a drink. Victor urged him not to fight for custody of Reed, noting that it would be hard on the child. J.T refused to discuss this with Victor.
Billy and Ashley went to Crimson Lights. She was pleased that he'd agreed to be Jack's best man. Billy wanted to throw his brother a bachelor party. Meanwhile, Traci surprised Jack with a visit. She was glad to see him so happy. Jack was so touched that his sister came early for the wedding and asked how she could care so much after losing Colleen and Brad. Traci replied that she wants to celebrate the good things in life.
Victoria went to the coffeehouse and ran into Billy. She was surprised when he revealed that he's going to be Jack's best man. She then announced that she's the new CEO of Jabot. Later, Victoria shared her news with J.T., but he wasn't happy for her. He filled her in on his meeting with Victor. Victoria asked her husband if they were really ending things. "I guess so," he sighed. Victoria recalled J.T being with her at the hospital while she was in a coma and concluded that their relationship seemed to thrive when there was a crisis. They agreed that they had happy memories of their time together. Victoria asked if they could be friends for their son's sake. He replied that he doesn't want things to get ugly either. J.T suggested that he stay in the guest room for awhile so they could both be there for Reed.... Victor and Nikki enjoyed some romantic time together, though Nikki was worried about Victoria. Victor told her that she's lucky to have Nikki as a mom.
Jack celebrated his upcoming nuptials with his sisters at the Abbott manse. He then got a call from the church wedding coordinator informing him that their priest had to back out and Father Todd Williams would be taking over. Billy later arrived and relayed Victoria's news about Jabot. "Here we go, the ‘Newmanization' of Jabot," sighed Jack. Jack vowed to get proof that Victor got inside information for the bidding war. Traci urged her siblings to find a way to move forward with their lives and stop obsessing over Victor.
Patty went to Crimson Lights and looked through Emily's day planner. She found a note which Jack had left for his bride to be, saying how much he loves her, and angrily crumpled it. After, Patty went to Emily's suite at the club and prepared to dye her hair brown.... Paul visited "Patty" in the mental hospital and was alarmed when she wouldn't wake up. He found the note she "wrote" and screamed for help. The orderly arrived and Paul revealed that the letter was a suicide note. He pleaded with her to wake up.... Patty successfully dyed her hair brown and looked through Emily's bridal portrait proofs so she could see how she was supposed to do her hair and makeup. She then got a call from Paul, who informed her that "Patty" was in the hospital. "Emily" hurried over there and asked Paul what "Patty's" chances of survival would be. He didn't know. He asked if she told "Patty" that she would no longer be treating her. "Emily" said that she did and "Patty" took it well. Paul reamed out "Emily" for not realizing that "Patty" was in a bad state and read her the suicide note. He then showed her the article about Emily and Jack's wedding and noted that it was found in Patty's cell. He blamed "Emily" for "Patty's" condition. Patty feigned concern. Paul tearfully asked "Emily" to leave. "Just know that your sister loved you," Patty assured him, showing some genuine emotion. When she stepped away, she broke down in tears. Later, Patty returned to the suite and was visited by Ashley. Ash asked if she needed any last minute things before the wedding and gave "Emily" things for "Something old, something new..." "Emily" opened the something old first; it was a rosary. She thanked Ashley for always being so nice to her.
Ashley ran into Victor at the club and asked if he took over Jabot because of her. He denied it. She then told him that Traci made her realize that she needs to let go of him — and that she's giving up the ranch without a fight.
At the hospital, Emily was in a coma. The doctor told Paul that there was also a bump on her head. Paul wondered if she'd injured herself before taking the drugs. The doctor warned that if she woke up, she might not he herself.... Patty took out Emily's wedding dress and was ready to try it on. Jack then called "Emily," and she assured him that she's the one woman in the world who can make him happy. "I can't wait for tomorrow," he enthused. "Neither can I," Patty replied.
Friday
Cane took Lily to the athletic club and had a Valentine's surprise for her. They ran into Kay and Murphy, who were happy to see Lily looking so well. Lily shared that so far, Cane had taken her to Fenmore's, the jewelry store and some other shops, and in each place, he had a gift for her. They sat down for drinks and Cane got yet another package for his wife. Later, Kay gave Murphy her Valentine's Day gift for him — the key to a hotel room so they could get away from the crowded Chancellor Estate! Murphy was very eager to enjoy his gift.
Phyllis and Summer surprised Nick by coming home early from Boston, where Summer was seeing a specialist. Phyllis shared that her trip was very successful. Nick then gave Summer a pink stuffed animal for Valentine's Day, while Phyllis gave him a card saying he could have anything he wants.... Meanwhile in St. Maarten, Adam recalled his friend telling him that a hot redhead was asking questions about Adam in Boston. While Sharon was sleeping, Adam wrote an e-mail to his friend and asked who else Phyllis had spoken with. Sharon awoke and asked what he was doing; he replied that he was checking in at the office. Sharon reminded him that he wasn't supposed to be working on his honeymoon. He agreed and they enjoyed a romantic morning together. Later, they exchanged presents — theater tickets from Adam to Sharon and a wallet from her to him. Inside the wallet, she'd filled out her name as his emergency contact, symbolizing how she'd always be there for him. While Sharon went to the spa, Adam called a worker at the ranch to find out if Phyllis had returned home.
Victoria went to the club and encountered Billy. They made small talk and Billy told her about the gift that Kay and Murphy gave Cordelia for her first birthday. They then sat down for a drink at the bar. Things became awkward, though, when talk of Jabot came up. Victoria sincerely said that she respects what the Abbotts have done with the company, but Billy warned her that the Abbotts' fight for the company wasn't over.
At the Abbott mansion, Traci was all dressed up and ready for Jack and Emily's wedding. She surprised Jack with a basket of homemade muffins, having used a recipe left by Mamie. Jack thought of the old days in the Abbott home and wished his father could be there. He told John's photo that this time, he'd get it right. Ashley and Neil soon joined them, while Traci took a call from her husband, who was in London. Billy then arrived, looking dapper in a tux. The brothers began discussing how they lost Jabot, but Traci and Ashley stopped them from talking shop.
Paul kept vigil with a comatose "Patty" in the hospital. Father Todd arrived and joined his brother. Paul asked why he'd agreed to marry Jack and Emily; Todd replied that he felt that maybe there was a higher purpose for it. He was shocked to see how much "Patty" looked like her doctor. Paul felt responsible for his sister's condition, but Todd assured him that it was out of his hands. He offered to stay with her while Paul took care of a few things. Todd placed a rosary in her hand.
In her suite, Patty regarded a photo of Emily and practiced sounding like the shrink. She got down on her knees and asked God for a sign that she should be going through with this. Chloe soon knocked on the door, while Patty struggled to remember who Chloe is and why she was there. Still, she let her in and asked Chloe for help with her hair and makeup. She was relieved when Chloe said that the stylist was coming. Lily and Cane arrived and congratulated her. Lily thanked "Emily" for her talk at the church, of which, of course, Patty had no recollection.
At the club, Cane took Lily to a suite which he'd had decorated to look like Paris — just as he had the first time they made love. They declared their love for each other and he gave her a necklace with two hearts for their twins.... Victoria paid Nick and Phyllis a visit and sadly revealed that she and J.T are getting divorced.
With help from Chloe and the stylist, "Emily" was all set for her wedding and certainly looked beautiful. Patty stared at herself in the mirror, a little overwhelmed.... Ashley raised a toast to Jack and his life with Emily. After, they went to the church and Jack was pleased with how everything looked. Traci realized that it was the same church that Jack had married Patty in. Paul arrived and informed Jack that "Patty" had tried to kill herself and was shocked that "Emily" hadn't told Jack about it. Jack was devastated by the news and insisted that he never meant to hurt her. Patty arrived and overheard. Paul confronted her about not telling Jack about "Patty." Chloe tried to smooth everything over. Later, Phyllis, Nick, Kay and Murphy arrived.... Phyllis said hello to Ashley and asked if Ash remembered anything else about Adam and Dr. Taylor's relationship. Ashley promised to discuss it later. Phyllis quietly informed Neil that she found out that Taylor had a bad reputation.... Father Todd arrived to officiate the ceremony. Jack gave him his best wishes for "Patty." As the wedding began and Patty took Emily's trip down the aisle, the real Emily flatlined in the hospital.
