Monday
Jack carried "Emily" over the threshold of the Abbott manse and looked forward to starting his life with his new bride. "Emily" stated that she and Jack needed to teach Victor a lesson for taking Jabot from the Abbotts. Jack recalled falling in love with Emily during Christmas, which made Patty uncomfortable — especially when he hung a photo of the real Emily. Patty covered that she was afraid that people would think she was vain for having that picture up, but Jack wanted to show her off. After he stepped away, Patty spoke to Emily's picture and stated that she's his beloved wife, and not Em. Later, Patty wrote in her diary that she is finally Mrs. Jack Abbott and is living a "wonderful" life. She again eyed the photo of Emily and said aloud that Em doesn't matter to him. She then called the hospital to check on "Patty" and was pleased to hear that the real Emily was possibly brain-damaged.
At Newman Enterprises, Tucker stated that he was glad that Victor still made the Jabot deal with him, even though Adam was working for Tucker. They sat down to discuss the terms, but Jack interrupted them to say he knows how Victor managed to steal the company. He believed that Victor used a mole — Adam — to get insider information on how much the Abbotts were bidding for Jabot. Of course, Newman denied this and told Jack to get used to the fact that Jabot is no longer his. Later, Tucker warned Victor that if Adam really did his bidding, he'd better hope that he could trust Adam.
At the ranch, Ashley confronted Adam about the piece of purple cloth, as Phyllis, Nick and Sharon looked on. Adam lied that he'd never seen that cloth in his life. Phyllis added that Summer had found it on the ranch months ago. Ashley again accused Adam of trying to make her think she lost her mind and had killed Sabrina. Adam denied this, as well as knowing about Dr. Taylor's shady past. Phyllis interjected that Taylor had molested Adam's ex-girlfriend, Skye. Sharon asked if he really didn't know what kind of man Taylor was. Adam pretended to be devastated about the way Taylor treated Skye. Ashley believed that it was all an act. Adam reminded her that even Olivia had said what a wonderful doctor Taylor was, and insisted that he never wanted to hurt Ashley. Sharon stood by her husband and left with him. Ashley couldn't believe it, but Nick acknowledged that Sharon loved her husband. He also noted that a lot of what Adam had said made some sense. Ash wanted to have the fabric tested to see if there had been blood on it at some time.
At Crimson Lights, Kevin continued to freak out to Daniel and Amber about a missing Jana. He insisted that he and Jana hadn't been fighting the night she went missing, and that Daisy and Ryder both had an alibi. Chloe arrived and he asked her if she could get Chance to help him out. Chloe called him and Chance agreed. Soon, Ryder arrived and offered to help them look for Jana. Meanwhile, Jana awoke in the cage where she was being held captive by Daisy and Ryder.... Amber sought help from a Ouija board and it spelled out a four-letter word, which Amber believed was connected to her and not Jana.... Later, Kevin called Chance and insisted that Jana didn't just leave on her own. Kevin regretted not having kept Jana safe. Amber tried to comfort him.... Jana screamed for help from her cell.
Sharon and Adam went to the club, where she demanded to know the entire truth — or else she'd run away. Adam replied that Ashley was unstable and that what she was accusing him of made no sense. He implored his wife to leave town with him calling Genoa City a toxic place. Sharon thought of happier times with Adam.... Adam went to get a drink at the club. Jack ran into him and shared his suspicions about Jabot with Adam. He warned that once he proves it, Adam and the deal with be toast. Jack then invited Adam to work with him.... Phyllis was determined to find out whatever Adam was hiding.... Ashley told baby Faith that she didn't know what she'd do without her.
Tuesday
Victoria and J.T discussed Reed's latest favorite sandwich. They argued over his decision to keep working for Tucker, then moved on to argue once again over Victor. They were interrupted when Nikki came by. Victoria lamented that J.T had insinuated that she's a bad mother. Nikki invited her to move back to the main house, but Victoria didn't want to live near her father. Nikki urged her daughter to talk to Victor and work things out.
Adam stopped by his and Sharon's suite in the athletic club so he could take her to lunch. He found her packing and asked if she was going to leave town with him. She revealed that they'd finished restoring Brad's house and she wanted to move back in. Jack arrived with the key to the home and was surprisingly cordial. When she stepped away, he asked if Adam considered his offer.... Meanwhile, Ashley left a message for Jack asking if she could have the keys to Brad's house so she could move in with the girls. Victor stopped by the ranch and asked if Ashley suspected Adam of gaslighting her. Ashley replied that she handled the situation with Adam and that it wasn't Victor's fight. Victor disagreed. She became emotional as she recalled the things that she believed Adam had done to her.
Cane told Malcolm and Devon that he couldn't make Lily's party because he had a meeting with Tucker. Tucker told Cane that he planned to sell all of the divisions of Chancellor, as he did with Jabot. Cane suggested he merge the divisions instead, but Tucker wanted the profits. He told Cane to remind Katherine how much money she'd make.... At the Chancellor Estate, Neil and Kay went through files on Tucker's life. She was determined to find her son's weakness. Cane soon arrived with more files on McCall, but warned them that he's planning to sell off the rest of Chancellor as soon as possible.... J.T gave Tucker a report on the Chancellor companies. Tucker planned to take bids for the next 55 minutes..... Kay wanted to focus on when Tucker got his start. Neil noted that it was when McCall managed a musical group and used them to launch a record company. They then found a newspaper article about Tucker and the former Yugoslavian minister of culture. Something clicked for Kay and she realized that they had dirt on Tucker. She pointed out that the painting in the photo of Tucker from the '80s was the same as the one in the recent picture of Tucker and the Yugoslavian minister of culture. They realized that he'd given the minister of culture the valuable painting to make sure that McCall's recording artists would become stars.
Lily, Devon, Malcolm and Neil dined at the club. Lily asked if Mal wanted to be a father again, but he lamented that he didn't do a good job being her dad. Mal then asked Devon if he ever planned to look for his biological father, but Devon wasn't sure he wanted to. Mac later admitted that she has some maternal feelings for the twins, but she wants Lily and Cane to be happy.
Victoria confronted Victor about the Jabot deal. He explained that he didn't tell her about his plan with Adam because he wanted to make sure she could truthfully say she knew nothing about the transaction. He also noted that he wanted to keep Adam at arm's length. Victoria replied that she doesn't think she can be Jabot's CEO because she needs to be there for Reed — and shared that J.T accused her of neglecting their son. Nikki urged her to work out an agreement with J.T because their arguing wasn't good for Reed, either. Later, Nikki and Victor discussed Victoria and J.T and their own relationship. Victor promised to never push Nikki away again.... Victoria and J.T talked about what was the best thing to do for Reed. She suggested that he find his own place, but J.T refused to leave his son.
Sharon and Adam prepared to move into Brad's home and found Ashley already there. Sharon believed that Ashley was trying to punish Adam. Adam told Jack that he could forget about their partnership. Ashley demanded to know what this was about. Sharon and Adam returned to the suite. She believed that it would blow over, but Adam disagreed. He again pleaded with her to leave town with him, but Sharon just wanted to ignore everyone. She pointed out that if he runs, he'll look guilty, but he didn't care. Later, she agreed to leave with him.
Mac ran into J.T at the club and he filled her in on his problems with Victoria. Mac assured him that he's a good father.... Cane joined Lily's party and revealed that Kay and Neil might've found something interesting on Tucker. A man approached Cane to say hello and called Cane "David," but Cane replied that he had the wrong person. After, the man made a call to someone saying that Cane is the guy they're looking for. Everyone was thrilled when Mac felt the twins move.
Kay interrupted Tucker's meeting and asked to speak with him alone. She revealed that she knows about him working with the band and asked how he managed to pull that off. He said that he doesn't remember what he did to make them household names, other than knowing what the public wants. She then brought up the painting and accused him of paying off the minister of culture. She threatened to have every deal of his investigated.
Wednesday
An imprisoned Jana screamed for help.... Kevin continued to worry about Jana's whereabouts. Daisy feigned concern and assured him that they'd find her. Gloria and Michael wondered if Jana was again having issues with her brain tumor. Kevin replied that there had been no signs that the tumor had returned. They promised to do anything that could do to help. Kevin asked to borrow money so he could go on the news and offer a reward. Michael warned him that if he did that, all kinds of con artists would come out of the woodwork.
Victoria again argued with J.T when he insinuated that she abandoned Reed when she went to Dubai. She reminded him that he wouldn't let her take their son with her; he accused her of putting work over family, stating that he also has a demanding job, but finds time for Reed. He refused to be an "every other weekend" father and said that he's going to be in Reed's life all of the time. However, when he got a business call, he left, infuriating Victoria.
Nick and Phyllis asked Victor if he spoke with Ashley about Adam, but he replied that she didn't want to discuss it with him. Nick noted that there was no way to prove that Adam tormented Ashley because it was his word against hers. Victor agreed that given her mental state at the time, she could be having false memories about the purple cloth. However, Phyllis was convinced that what she said was true.... Adam went to the bookstore and confided in Ryder that he was thinking of leaving the country and starting fresh somewhere. After, Victor called and demanded that his son meet him at the ranch.
Tucker told Katherine that she's grasping at straws to accuse him of paying off the Yugoslavian minister of culture. She was still certain that she had the goods on McCall, noting that Tucker had the painting removed from his insurance policy while the minister had it added to his. Tucker admitted that the painting had been more of a "gift" than a loan. Kay warned him that what he did was commit international corporate bribery. He insisted that this was how business was conducted in the '80s and he's not a criminal. Kay disagreed and warned that if this came out, it could unravel his entire empire. He stated that the "war" was far from over. Kay insisted that she didn't want to fight him — and would keep things quiet unless he chose to make it public. She walked out of his office and Tucker was left speechless.
Daisy met Ryder at the bookstore and complained that Kevin needed to be stopped from finding Jana. Ryder felt badly for Kevin, but Daisy refused to feel sorry from him. Instead, she prepared to move on to Plan B..... Gloria reminded Kevin that when he was missing, Jana didn't give up any hope in finding him. Still, Kevin began to freak out about his wife.... Ryder brought Jana a toothbrush and food. She stated that she was right about him and Daisy being connected, and concluded that they're twins. She added that she knows about their mother, but isn't scared. "You should be," he warned. "Why are you doing this?" she asked. He replied that she stuck her nose where it didn't belong. She wasn't fazed by his tough-guy act and didn't think that he wanted to hurt her. Jana pointed out that if he helped her escape, he'd prove everyone wrong for misjudging him and would be a hero. Ryder didn't want to hear it.
Phyllis and Nick dined at the athletic club. She speculated that Adam was sick enough to torment Ashley just for the fun of it.... Adam met up with Victor at the ranch. Victor questioned his son about what went on at the house while Ashley was pregnant. Adam believed that Phyllis and Nick had poisoned Victor's mind against him. Victor wanted to hear his side of the story, but Adam didn't want to talk about it anymore. He pointed out that they haven't been able to find any proof against him and reminded Victor that he helped him get Jabot. "What are you saying?" asked Victor. Adam threatened to reveal that he was the mole. Victor warned that if he blabs, he'll go down with the deal. After, Adam went to see Tucker and asked if he could take a job in Europe.
Kay paid Victor a visit at the ranch. She revealed that she found something on Tucker, but wouldn't share the details. "I had that sword right about his head and wouldn't drop it," she sighed. Victor was surprised, but she pointed out that Victor let Adam into his own even after he'd framed Victor for murder. "I couldn't crush my son today," she explained, blaming herself for making Tucker the man his is by abandoning him.
J.T met up with Kevin to help find Jana. He acknowledged to Kevin that the longer someone is missing, the worse things tend to be. Still, he urged Kevin not to give up hope. Gloria also encouraged her son to believe that Jana will come back to him.... Ryder told Daisy that he thinks Jana needs to see a doctor because she's been getting headaches, but Daisy wanted to make their prisoner "disappear." Daisy dressed up as Jana and made calls in a British accent, asking for a room. She planned to make Kevin believe that Jana left him.
Victoria called Michael to as for help with her divorce. Michael agreed to meet with her right away. He informed her that she has no legal grounds to kick J.T out of the house since she doesn't actually own it.... J.T also made calls to get a lawyer.
Tucker wanted Adam to stay put in Genoa City. He instructed Adam to put a hold on all sales of Chancellor's companies.
Thursday
As Emily languished in her hospital bed, Patty read a psych book so she could continue playing the part of Emily. Ashley then paid Jack and "Emily" a visit at the Abbott manse. When she got "Emily" alone, Ash went on about how much Jack was going to like his wife's surprise. Of course, Patty had no idea what kind of surprise Emily had really planned for Jack. After, Jack joined them and shared that he planned to get Jabot back from Victor. Ashley was surprised to see "Emily's" tough side when she told her husband to give Newman what he deserves.
Chloe was thrilled to be celebrating Cordelia's first birthday. At Crimson Lights, she told Chance that she never expected to be where she is in her life, both as a mom and as his girlfriend. She stated that Chance is like Delia's daddy, but he reminded her that Billy is the father. Chloe acknowledged that lately Billy has been a great dad.
At Restless Style, Jill, Billy, Cane and Malcolm admired the photos that Mal had taken of Lily. Malcolm wanted to do a follow-up piece on Lily and Mac's pregnancy, but Lily didn't seem enthusiastic. She admitted that she was nervous because she was about to get a PET scan to see if her cancer was gone.... Billy took Jill aside and hoped that they'd get some dirt on Tucker so they could put it in the magazine.
Victor went to Tucker's suite to go over the details of the Jabot deal. Victor scoffed at Jack's accusations about him using a mole to get the bidding information, saying Jack was just blowing smoke. Tucker cryptically asked if Kay could be trusted, not letting on that Kay had dirt on him and had promised to keep it quiet. Victor didn't pry, but assured McCall that Kay is always a woman of her word.... Kay confessed to Neil that she confronted Tucker, but didn't have the heart to bust her own son for international corporate bribery.
Kay, Esther, Jill, Billy, Chloe, Chance, the Abbotts and the Winters clan gathered at the Chancellor Estate for Delia's birthday party. (Kay explained that Murphy was at a lodge meeting.) Chloe suddenly remembered that it was the day for Emily's surprise — but didn't say what it was, which frustrated a still-clueless Patty. Jack revealed that he's trying to stop the sale of Jabot and was confident that Kay would do whatever she could to help. Kay just looked guilty. After, Cane took her aside and asked if she'd cornered Tucker, but she admitted that she's not going to use the information against him. Cane didn't agree with her decision to keep mum.... Chance got a call from work and had to leave.... Jill suspected that Kay knew something about Tucker and kept pestering Kay to share the information. However, Kay refused, angering Jill.
Victor and Tucker got a call that Jack had convinced a judge to put a stay on the Jabot deal. Tucker assured Victor that he won Jabot, fair and square. Tucker noted that he and Victor are very much alike and both like to win — at any cost.... Jack informed his siblings and "Emily" that the Jabot sale was stopped until they could investigate the validity of the purchase. "Em" was pleased to see Jack stepping up to Victor.
Lily was about to head to the hospital, but realized she'd left her form at home. Cane offered to get it and pick up some eclairs for her, while Malcolm took her for her test.
Victor visited an unconscious "Patty" in the hospital and sincerely stated that he regretted bringing her to town to get revenge on Jack — not only because Patty was driven to hurt many people and inadvertantly kill Colleen, but because Patty was hurt in the process, as well. He felt badly for using her and counted himself partially responsible for the things she'd done. Before leaving, Victor stated that Jack wasn't worth her trouble. After he left, Emily whispered Jack's name.
Chance revealed to Chloe that Riggs, the man who stabbed him, was found dead in the river. Chloe feared that Chance was becoming involved in something dangerous.
At the magazine, Billy and Jill searched for dirt on Tucker, but couldn't find anything.... Meanwhile, Tucker paid Kay a visit and said that she's not the woman he thought she was. He opened up a bit as he spoke about the mother who raised him and shared that she made a cake for his birthdays. Kay replied that she didn't bake; he smiled and said that his mom hadn't run a multi-million dollar company. He then told Kay that he decided to hold off selling the rest of Chancellor — for now. Kay was so grateful she was moved to tears.
"Emily," Jack and Ashley returned to the Abbott manse and Patty finally found out what Emily's surprise for Jack was — a visit from his son with Diane, Kyle! Jack and Kyle were thrilled to be reunited. Patty's face clouded as Jack noted what a wonderful woman *Emily* is.
Malcolm waited with an anxious Lily at the hospital. Meanwhile, Cane picked up eclairs at the coffeehouse and was stopped by two Immigration officials. They informed him that he was in the country illegally and that he was going to be deported.
Friday
Lily rushed to Immigration, where Cane was being detained. She explained that she'd rescheduled her PET exam. He revealed that he was in the country illegally because he'd used Phillip's social security number — and that he'd used it for marrying Lily, too. Lily promised her husband that they'd find a way to get all of this solved.
Victor went to Sharon's suite at the athletic club and asked if she knew where Adam was. She didn't. Victor was concerned because Adam needed to be at the Jabot hearing that afternoon. Sharon was confident that Adam would be there to support Victor.... Also at the club, Phyllis put on a Southern accent and pretended to be a certain doctor at Duke University so she could get a hold of Dr. Taylor's files. Nick overheard and chuckled at his wife's performance. She believed that they'd finally get the evidence they needed to nail Adam for his crimes. Victor interrupted and told Nick it was time to go to court. Phyllis called Sharon and asked if they could speak alone.
Billy and Victoria arrived at court at the same time. He made a joke about it being a "grudge match," but she didn't find it amusing. They then had a little "competition" on whose life was in worse shape. When Billy lamented that Mac was having Cane's twins, Victoria noted that Mac has been spending a lot of time with J.T. Billy suddenly kissed Victoria, but she shoved him away.
At the hospital, Paul was thrilled when "Patty" responded to him. The doctor encouraged him to keep speaking to his sister.... At the Abbott manse, Jack was ecstatic to have Kyle there and wondered who brought him. Enter Diane, Jack's ex and the woman whom Jack had been cheating with while he'd been married to Patty. Needless to say, Patty was not happy to see her, but put on a friendly face as "Emily." When Jack left for the hearing, Diane attempted to get to know "Emily" better and questioned her about being Patty's doctor. Patty blanched when Diane went on about how Patty used to be an airhead and had become insane. "Emily" defended Patty by reminding Diane that Patty had been through a lot. Paul called "Emily" and asked her to come to the hospital.
At the hearing, Victoria asked Nick if Michael knew that Adam had been the mole for the Jabot deal. Nick admitted that Baldwin was clueless; Victoria hoped Michael wouldn't be blindsided.... Sharon met up with Phyllis in the club, and Phyllis warned that she was about to get evidence against Adam. Sharon didn't want to hear it, but Phyllis wouldn't let up. Sharon didn't understand why Phyllis was going after Adam when Phyllis had Nick and Sharon was no longer competition for him. Phyllis replied that she, believe it or not, actually cared and worried about what might happen if Sharon stayed with Adam. Sharon wasn't moved and stormed away.... Adam never arrived at the hearing and the ruling was delayed. Michael noted that a delayed ruling was better than a ruling against Victor... Michael got a call about a possible lead on Jana and prepared to leave town for a couple of days.
Both Victoria and Billy returned to the hearing room at the same time — she went back for her left-behind sunglasses, and he, for his scarf. Billy wanted to discuss their kiss, but she wanted to pretend it never happened.
Phyllis and Nick went to a storage unit and picked up Skye's journal. It proved that Taylor had molested her and that Adam had known. Phyllis was nervous about telling this to Ashley, given Ashley's history of mental breakdowns; Nick suggested she speak with Jack first.... Victor informed Sharon that Adam never arrived for the hearing. He suspected that Adam had skipped town.... Nick later went to see Sharon and informed her that they'd discovered something awful about her husband.
Patty went to the hospital and was surprised to hear that "Patty" was making progress. She stayed for a while as she listened to Paul talk to his sister, then suggested that he get some rest while she "took care" of the patient. After, Emily opened her eyes and tried to speak, but a furious Patty grabbed a pillow and placed it over Emily's face.... Phyllis stopped by the Abbott manse to see Jack — and was greeted by her old rival, Diane!
