Monday
Nick complained to Victoria about her husband's obsession with embarrassing the Newmans in print. Nick grumbled the affect that the article on Sharon and Adam could have on his children but Victoria simply said, "This too shall pass." Nick reminded his sister how Billy wrote about her affair with Deacon, which cost her her marriage and her son. Nick didn't want anything more to do with Billy and Victoria countered, "It's official. You've become our father." Meanwhile, Billy and Phyllis were thrilled about the sales numbers for their latest Restless Style issue. Billy urged Phyllis to write a series piece of articles on Skye's murder investigation and Adam's trial. Phyllis happily accepted the challenge.
Jill invited Colin to dinner and said she would also include Cane. Colin asked her to let Cane know that Colin was coming so he could surprise Cane with something "from Australia." Jill called Cane and he accepted her invitation to dinner. Cane then angrily confronted Blake and demanded to know what Colin was doing in Genoa City. Blake claimed he had no idea what Cane's dad was up to.
Observing how much Sharon missed Faith, Adam suggested that they walk away from each other. Sharon refused and was determined to prove Adam's innocence. "I don't think you know what it means to me to have you in my life, Adam" she affirmed. "You and I bring out the best in each other." They later broke into Skye's hotel room to look for clues. Phyllis walked in on them and revealed her plans to write more scathing articles on Adam. Sharon challenged Phyllis to write how Adam was set up but Phyllis only agreed to it if Sharon and Adam can find proof. Until that happens, Phyllis warned she is still writing about Adam being Skye's murderer.
Victoria complained to Billy about airing her family's dirty laundry in print. Billy reminded that doing that is his job, which Victoria deemed a "cop out." He offered to destroy the magazine to appease her but she didn't want him to stop doing what he loves.
Cane arrived at the Chancellor manse and had to cover his shock when he found Colin there as Jill's guest. She announced that Colin had a surprise, and he presented a photograph of a young woman. Jill asked who she is. Cane explained she is a woman who was once very dear to him. Jill left the room to check on dinner and Cane raged at Colin, "You're gonna use my sister to get to me?" Cane mentioned how Colin destroyed Samantha and that he better not hurt Jill, too. Colin pointed out that his son saved his own neck by turning in his family even when Cane's own hands were dirty. Colin also reminded that Cane grew up "the prince of Queensland" and not the underprivileged lad from the Outback. Jill returned and asked more questions about Samantha. Cane said she had died. When the guys had another moment alone, Colin told Cane, "I want you to come home, take up your rightful place in the organization." Colin also wanted Cane to bring Lily and the kids. Jill came back and Colin asked if Cane would ever come back to Australia; he answered that his life is now in Genoa City. Colin then announced that he wanted to share a secret about Cane, who immediately grew uncomfortable.
Tuesday
While Lauren and Michael dined at Gloworm for their anniversary, they encountered Daniel, who revealed that Daisy is now lodging with him. Lauren became unglued and Daniel affirmed that he was just as miserable about the arrangement. Lauren softened and expressed her regret over the problems her past with Sheila has caused but Daniel assured that she isn't responsible for his predicament.
As Cane fidgeted, Colin revealed that Cane was such a good rugby player that he could've gone pro. When Jill returned to the kitchen, Colin threatened to expose Cane's past unless he comes home but Cane spat that Lily would forgive him when she learns what kind of man his father is. Jill returned with brandy but Cane insisted he had to go and left. Colin flirted with Jill, who offered to show him where she goes to get away from it all. He was surprised when she escorted him to her office at Fenmore's, where they started smooching.
Blake showed up at Cane's house in search of Ashby and Lily invited him in to wait. She had Blake wrapping presents and lamented how much Cane is working. Blake was touched when he learned that Lily had bought him a Christmas gift. Cane came home and was enraged to find Blake and kicked him out. A shocked Lily asked if her husband was jealous but he answered he was just upset because he doesn't get to spend enough time with his family. Lily warned that he could have job burnout at the pace he's going but he fibbed that he has to work harder because he's not as good at his job as everyone thinks.
Kevin showed Chloe how he turned their photo with Santa into Christmas cards and she pointed out that it gives the false impression that they're a couple. Kev asked would that be so bad and Chloe countered that it would be inaccurate. He then confessed that he had feelings for Chloe, who was surprised. She called herself "relationship road kill" and that they are better off as friends. Chloe felt awkward and headed out to work at the office.
At Jimmy's bar, Ronan was affected when he opened a Christmas card from Nina. He then called for an update on his biopsy but the results weren't ready yet. Heather showed up and asked if he was going to come to the Chancellor house for the holidays and he tersely said no. She asked about his health but he remained evasive. After calling Heather "an emotional Fort Knox," Ronan challenged her to be more open. She confessed how her life is empty and lonely, thanks to a lousy track record with men. Ronan then admitted that he is dying but swore Heather to secrecy. She urged him to spend more time with Nina.
Jana visited Daisy, who said it wasn't a "done deal" that she's giving her baby to Ms. Hawkes. Jana reminded that without her testimony, Daisy will be spending life behind bars. Daniel returned and was surprised to find Jana there. She explained that spending time with Daisy is helping Jana to be more compassionate and forgiving. After Jana left, Daniel was impressed with Daisy's sketches.
Michael and Lauren walked in on a naked Jill and Colin. After they got dressed, Colin thanked Jill for a nice evening and left.... Jana showed up at Kevin's place and he started kissing her passionately.... Blake warned Colin that Cane could lash out again if pushed too far but Colin said that his son was more vulnerable than ever, now that he has a family. Blake insisted that Lily not be hurt.... Outside of Jimmy's, Ronan kissed Heather. Chloe saw them and asked why Heather is kissing the man who killed Chance.
Wednesday
Chloe reamed Heather for kissing Chance's killer. Ronan insisted he was the aggressor but Chloe said they were both "disgusting." After she stalked
away, Ronan and Heather were awkward about the kiss and she said she had to
go. Later, Heather showed up at Ronan's dumpy apartment with a neon
Christmas tree to brighten up the place but he objected to her coming since
he's dying. She refused to leave so he drew her into another kiss. Soon,
they were on his bed, having sex. After, while Heather slept, Ronan got a
call from his specialist that his test was positive. The doc urged Ronan to
come to Boston as soon as possible.
Lauren started yelling at Lauren for having sex in the office with Colin but
Michael started laughing uncontrollably and soon the sisters dissolved into
fits of giggling. Michael made Jill feel better when he revealed that he and
Lauren had sex in the office before, too. Michael claimed he had an errand
to run and suggested the gals have coffee together. Jill said she wanted a drink
instead and they went to the G.C.A.C., where Jill urged Lauren to lean on
her when it came to feeling scared about Daisy. The ladies apologized to
each other about their past behavior.
Jana happily let Kevin rip off her clothes and slam her down on the sofa.
After they had sex, Chloe walked in on them. While Jana was getting dressed
in the other room, Chloe announced that she is moving out. Kev pretended
not to affected by her decision and she left. Jana emerged from the other
room and Kevin said what happened between them doesn't mean they're getting
back together. She pretended to understand and kissed him good night.
While dining at Gloworm, brought up Victor and Nikki said she didn't think
they'd reconcile. Deacon, who got his job back at Gloworm, walked in and Kay
observed Nikki's attention drawn to him. He came over and said hi but Kay
chased him off. Kay asked if Nikki was happy to run into Deacon and she
answered she wasn't sorry. Kay warned her pal against getting involved with
Sharpe but Nikki insisted he has been a good friend. Kay then asked where
Nikki was moving to but she didn't have any idea. After Kay departed, Deacon
approached Nikki and tried to be affectionate but she said she had to get
her life together and left.
Kay came home to find Chloe gorging on ice cream. Chloe revealed she was
moving out of Kevin's place and Kay offered for her to move back to the
mansion. Chloe explained how Kevin admitted his feelings for her but Kay
said she already could tell he was crazy for Chloe. She insisted that they
were just friends but Kay advised Chloe to really think about her true
feelings.
Victoria informed Billy that she went to a doctor because she wasn't getting
pregnant and a battery of tests were run. Victoria said the results would be
forthcoming and worried over the possibility of never having children with
Billy. He assured that everything will be okay since they did get pregnant
before. When Victoria left the room, Billy brought in packages he had
waiting on the porch. Victoria came downstairs and was surprised to find a
fully decorated Christmas tree. She noticed a tiny stocking over the
fireplace and he assured that a baby "is gonna happen" for them.
Thursday
Michael suggested to Lauren that they go away for Christmas but she wanted to stay in town and have a normal holiday. Lauren assured she has been
feeling better, thanks to her "awesome" husband. Michael revealed that he
arranged to have the security company contact Lauren should Daisy's ankle
monitor indicate she's somewhere she shouldn't be. Lauren felt immeasurably
better and gratefully smooched her hubby.
Chloe showed up at Kevin's place to retrieve her things. He resented her
acting so awkward around him and said their friendship doesn't need to
change just because he admitted his attraction to her. He stormed out and
she packed her belongings but felt conflicted about leaving.
Jack was surprised when Diane was graciously accepting that there was no
relationship in the cards for them. They then headed over to the Christmas
play with Kyle, who was the narrator.
Sharon wanted to attend the Christmas play because Faith was involved but
she was hesitant because her presence would upset Nick and Noah. Adam felt
badly about her situation and again suggested they not be together anymore
but she refused to consider that option. Adam urged her to go to the
Christmas play and she agreed.
Everyone gathered at the church to watch their kids in the Christmas play,
directed by Jana.... Noah dissed Phyllis for printing that story on his
mother.... Phyllis and Lauren made nice.... Jana told Noah that she and
Kevin are getting back together..... The play started and since Jack was
sitting with Diane to support Kyle, Phyllis felt alone, sitting by
herself.... An emotional Sharon watched unseen from the back of the
church... After the play, Kevin asked Jana if she was okay about their night
together not meaning anything more than just sex. She covered her
disappointment and assured she was fine.... Gloria warned Jana to stay away
from Kevin so Jana took great delight in revealing that she spent the night
with him ... Nick invited Diane and Kyle to join him and his kids for
pizza.... Sharon broke down as she watched everyone leave. She then had a
conversation with the minister about her recent choices and he said God
forgives wickedness.
Adam went to the G.C.A.C. and asked a maintenance man if he saw anything the
night that Skye disappeared. The guy remembered seeing a couple boarding the
freight elevator so Adam paid him to get images from the security camera.
The maintenance man retrieved the photos and gave them to Adam. After
looking them over, Adam called Phyllis and said he had something for her to
see.
Kevin informed Michael that Chloe moved out. Meanwhile, Gloria complained to
Chloe that her moving out made a mess "for all of us," now that Jana and
Kevin have slept together.... Nick and Diane bonded over pizza.... Adam
showed Sharon a photo of a woman and a man on the G.C.A.C. freight elevator.
However, their faces couldn't be seen because the woman had her umbrella
open, which was an odd thing to do inside an elevator. Adam said the purse
the woman is carrying is definitely Skye's designer handbag and he was sure
the man was Victor. The photo was stamped with the time 8:01, which means he
wouldn't have had time to kill her and make his trains to New Orleans.
Friday
Sharon and Adam dined at Gloworm and discussed the possibility of Victor
being involved in Skye's disappearance. Adam called Phyllis and asked her to meet at Skye's hotel suite. On their way out, they encountered Ashley, Abby and Tucker coming in. "Have a nice evening," Sharon chirped as they passed.
Diane ran into Nick eating by himself at the G.C.A.C. She joined him and
they bonded while talking about their kids. Nick then invited Diane out to
the ranch and she accepted. There, Nick then kissed Diane, which she allowed. Before long, they were having sex! After, Diane confessed that came back to Genoa City to find "gainful employment" because she's in huge debt.
Victoria and Billy joined Ashley, Abby and Tucker at Gloworm for a family
dinner. Ashley had a private moment with Billy and he explained his and
Victoria's potential baby woes. Ash assured her brother everything will turn out okay. Abby overheard her mom rhapsodize about Tucker but Abby was obviously still distrustful of him. Tucker got a business call from Zurich and needed to go back to his place. Victoria had a tough time hiding her depression, so Billy secretly called Rafe about the possibility of buying a baby.
Phyllis and Jack met Adam and Sharon at Skye's hotel room. He showed them the photo from the freight elevator and maintained that Victor is the one with Skye. Jack theorized that the unidentified man could well be Adam luring Skye outside to kill her. Adam pointed out that the time stamp on the pic proves he wouldn't have a chance to murder is wife, then make it to the train. Adam challenged Phyllis to verify that his train wasn't tardy in leaving that night, but she said she needed more proof of who is in the photo. Later, Phyllis admitted to Jack that Adam could be telling the truth, so they went to the train station to investigate.
Adam recalled that Skye's favorite perfume is discontinued and is hard to
find. He surmised that wherever Skye is, she will try to order that perfume.
Leslie, his lawyer, called with the news that Skye's shoes and handbag were not found in the inventory the police gathered at her suite, meaning she had to have left with them.
Abby showed up at Tucker's place with champagne, which she popped and got bubbly all over herself. Abby hoped that Tucker would suggest that she get out of her wet clothes but he instead told her to bundle up and escorted her out the door.... Sharon told Adam that she loves him and he happily returned the sentiment.... At the train station, Phyllis found Skye's blood-covered pumps stashed in the garbage... Nick and Diane went for round two of sex. Meanwhile, Victor was headed home on his jet.
