Monday
Emily informed Jack that Paul and the cops hadn't found Patty. Jack believed that Adam was responsible for her disappearance; Em agreed that Adam was behind it and wondered when it would catch up with him. Jack urged her to take care of herself, but Emily was too concerned about Patty to relax. Later, Phyllis joined them and they discussed Adam. Em stepped away and Phyllis felt badly for interrupting them. Phyllis then told Jack about Victor's settlement offer and how she got a flat tire. Jack asked why she hadn't called him; Phyllis replied that she spied Nick checking up on Sharon at the cabin. She then confessed that she kissed another guy to make Nick jealous — and it was Deacon. Jack was horrified, but Phyllis noted that this is the "real Phyllis." "I'm my own woman now," she announced. "I've been Nick's wife. I've been calm and mature and supportive of his needs. It was exhausting." She wondered if this was the price she paid for trying to live a fairy tale. Later, Emily noted to Jack that Phyllis was on a crossroad and could end up going down the wrong path.
At the Abbot cabin, Sharon called an ambulance after shooting Adam. Nick joined her and called Victor to let him know what was going on. Soon, the ambulance arrived and a hysterical Sharon kept saying, "I shot him. Oh my God." After, Victor met them at the hospital and asked Sharon if Adam had hurt her. She told him that she's sorry. Victor instructed her not to talk to the press. Skye arrived with reporters and demanded to know what Sharon did to Adam.
Lauren and Michael went to Crimson Lights. Lauren regretted trying to extend an olive branch to Jill. Michael wondered if her experiences with Daisy and Sarah colored her perceptions of Jill, but Lauren argued that Jill hasn't given her time to adjust to them being siblings. He urged Lauren to work things out with Jill, but Lauren didn't want her to have anything to do with Fenmore's. She believed that all Jill cared about was her father's money, but Michael wasn't so sure. Lauren was ready for Jill to bring it on. Michael reminded his wife that Jill isn't Sarah, and she shouldn't treat her as if she is. Meanwhile, at the G.C.A.C., Jill crowed to her lawyer that she's going to get her share of Fenmore's. Jill called the press to give them her story. Lauren was furious when she saw a broadcast about Jill on the air. Jill conjured up some tears and relayed how her late mother revealed the truth about Neil Fenmore being Jill's father. Lauren showed up and accused Jill of making a spectacle. "I'm here to make sure you get the real story," Lauren told the reporters. She admitted that she was disappointed that Jill hadn't given her time to adjust before she went on the attack. Jill insisted that she wasn't trying to do that. Lauren stated that she's trying to tear down her father's reputation; Jill replied that Lauren won't let her into the family. Lauren called her rival a golddigger. "There is no store, no job and no money!" Lauren shouted and threatened to get a restraining order — and then shoved Jill into an open grave!
Sofia informed Malcolm that she had a way to solve Cane's immigration problems. Meanwhile, Cane and Lily feared that he'd be deported if she recovered from her cancer. Mal and Sofia soon met up with them at the hospital and told them that they could probably get Cane a work visa so he can be a liaison between Tucker's company and one overseas. Cane was surprised, but Sofia assured him that she'd look out for him since they're going to be family. Later, Cane and Lily discussed how Neil didn't trust Sofia or Tucker, but Lily thought that they'd score points with him if they arranged for Cane to stay in the country. Cane thanked Sofia and asked her to tell Tucker that he's on board. Later, Malcolm privately thanked his fiance at the club and told her that she might have saved Cane's life since there were some "bad dudes" in Australia. He asked for her ring and proposed to her once again, and she accepted.... Cane and Lily held their twins and enjoyed being a family.
Victor called Michael to help with Sharon's case and told the reporters to stop hassling her. Skye reamed out Victor for disowning Adam and he told her not to speak to him that way. The doctor informed Skye that Adam is going to be okay. A cop then arrived to question Sharon about the shooting and accused her of trying to kill her ex.... Skye visited an unconscious Adam and tearfully asked him to wake up. "You don't snap out of it soon, I might have to put her through a window," Skye said of Sharon and vowed to teach the other woman a lesson. Sharon entered Adam's room and Skye accused her of wanting Adam gone. Sharon denied it and said that Skye was just looking for a photo op. Nick called Skye "a real piece of work." After, Sharon explained to Michael how she thought a prowler was trying to break in and how Adam had followed her to the cabin earlier. Michael asked if Adam had been stalking her; she replied that he just kept declaring his love for her and she'd thrown him out. The lawyer warned her that Adam might tell a jury that she gunned him down in cold blood.... Nick and Victor believed that Adam got what he deserved. Later, Adam awoke and the cop asked if he remembered getting shot. Adam did and stated that Sharon shot him. She was about to be arrested, but Adam admitted that he tried to break in and it was self-defense. "It's all my fault," he said. "All of it."
Tuesday
Lauren and Michael dined at the G.C.A.C prior to going to the courthouse for Ryder's trial. Michael wanted to discuss the night before when Lauren fought with Jill publicly and had threatened to get a restraining order against her. Michael said he couldn't do it.... At the Chancellor Estate, Katherine went through boxes of stuff that had been affected by rain damage. Jill joined her and Kay admonished her for what had happened with Lauren on the news. Tucker then called Jill and asked her to meet him at the club. Before she left, Kay urged Jill to make amends with Lauren. Jill argued that Lauren was the one who wasn't treating her well and called Lauren a "bitch on wheels." Kay pointed out that when Jill is on her deathbed, the Fenmore money won't mean anything to her, but having a sister will.... Gloria and Jeffrey joined Michael and Lauren at the club and praised Lauren for shoving Jill into the grave. Michael asked them to knock it off. After, they discussed the trial and tried to stay optimistic that Ryder would show.
At Crimson Lights, Billy and Delia joined Victoria and Reed. Victoria explained that she and Reed were selling lemonade for charity and invited them to help out. Billy agreed to help them get some more customers.... Mac informed J.T that she wants to begin volunteering again — in Haiti or the Sudan. J.T was disappointed, because he wanted to ask her to move in with him. Mac was surprised that he was ready to get so serious with their relationship. He reminded her that she could do plenty of charity work right in town. "Going to a foreign country is not going to solve your problems," he reasoned. Later, Mac and J.T arrived at the coffeehouse and actually had a civil conversation with Victoria and Billy. When Billy praised Reed for being an entrepreneur, J.T said that he takes after his mom. After Billy left, J.T asked if they were serious and Victoria replied that they're taking things one step at a time.
At Kevin's place, Chloe helped him dress for Ryder's trial because Kevin was so nervous. Kevin told her that Chance was a fool for cheating on someone like her. Chloe accompanied Kevin to the courthouse so she could support him as a friend.... An on-the-run Jana told Ryder that she'll be with him every step of the way, but implored him not to back out of the trial, for Kevin's sake. Ryder didn't want to go to jail, but Jana promised to testify that he'd helped her and Lauren. "I see the good in you and I know they will, too," she stated. Ryder declared his love for her, but Jana didn't think that they could ever really be happy living on the run. He disagreed and wanted to start a new life in a new place. "I can't do that," she replied. "You can't, either."
Chloe, Kevin, Lauren, Michael and Gloria arrived at the courthouse. Kevin prayed that Jana would come through for him. Chloe didn't think that Jana deserved a guy like him, but Kevin recalled how he and Jana shared a connection. "It's just hitting me now that she's really gone," he sighed. Meanwhile, Jana became upset when Ryder shared that he stole in order to get money for her. She didn't want to leave Kevin hanging and again urged Ryder to go to the courthouse, but he refused.
Jill met with Tucker at the club. He was still certain that the Newmans bribed the Japanese official and wondered if Billy had confided in her about his trip to Japan with Victoria. Jill said that he hadn't, but promised to see what information she could get. In return, she wanted Tucker's help in her case against Lauren. She wondered if her biological father had ever looked for her; Tucker understood what she was going through and agreed to have a private investigator do some searching for her. Later, at Restless Style, Jill quizzed Billy on Victor's stronghold in the Japanese market and suggested that they do an expos. Billy implored his mom to drop the subject. Jill promised not to write any articles about it, but after he stepped away, she went right over to his computer to do some research. She rolled her eyes when her son's password was "Victoria," but found a listing for an antique pistol worth several million in his files.... Tucker paid Kay a visit, explaining that he had a business proposal for her. She told him that he didn't have to come up with an excuse to see his mother. After, Kay showed him some of the stuff she found in her boxes, including a shawl from Jill's adoptive mother, Liz. Kay confided how much she missed her late friend. Tucker patiently listened and admitted that Kay has turned out not to be the woman he originally thought she was. Kay wished that she and Tucker could be closer and they bonded while drinking tea.
Kevin, Chloe and his family went to the coffeehouse. Kevin lamented having to close his business. Mac and J.T overheard and Mac asked if she could buy back into Crimson Lights. Everyone thought it was a great idea and Kevin accepted. Later, Jana arrived at the coffeehouse and explained that she couldn't get Ryder to come back. She apologized to Kevin for hurting him, but Kevin coldly replied that it was too little, too late, and asked her to leave.... Ryder called Daisy and informed her that he's on his way.... J.T was pleased that Mac was going to stay in town. She believed that everything that had happened during the day was a sign for her to remain in Genoa City. She told J.T that she loves him and they kissed.
Victoria met with Billy at the magazine and they agreed that they'd had a fun time hanging out with their kids.... Jill and Lauren ran into each other at the coffeehouse and exchanged words. Lauren dug in the knife by saying that she was off to spend time with her real family. Jill later called Tucker and said that she had some information for him.
Wednesday
Gloria enthusiastically rehearsed a speech welcoming patrons to her and Jeff's new club, Gloworm. She stopped and asked Jeff for his input, then declared that the opening would be perfect. Just then, one of the bartenders dropped a box of glasses and had to be taken to the hospital. Jeff suggested that he get plastic glasses from the party shop, but Glo wouldn't hear of it. An official-looking man then arrived and said that the club had to pass a health inspection. They were relieved when they passed. Gloria got glasses from Fenmore's, but Jeff was appalled at the prices. Glo assured him that she has many projects in the works and was certain that their club would be the hottest in Wisconsin. Later, the chef got food poisoning, leaving them without a chef and bartender. There was then a flood in the bathroom. Yikes!
Sharon met with Michael at the G.C.A.C. She couldn't believe that she shot Adam and regretted keeping Nick's gun. Michael replied that Nick was just concerned for her and Faith's safety. She feared that she could go to jail, but Michael reminded her that Adam backed up her story — that she was trying to defend herself. He then got a call that the D.A.'s office wouldn't be pressing charges. Just then, Adam and Skye entered the club. Sharon told Adam that she was glad he was okay, but Skye threatened to file a civil suit. Sharon asked why Adam hadn't said it was him when he tried to get into the cabin; he replied that he thought she was bluffing when she said she had a gun. Michael ended their conversation and Adam asked if there was a man in town who didn't try to protect her.
Kevin awoke and found Chloe all dressed up. She explained that she was going to Chance's hearing because he needed support. Kevin didn't understand why she'd support the man who'd cheated on her.... At the Chancellor Estate, a nervous Nina prepared for Chance's hearing. He told her that it was a closed hearing, but she wanted to be right outside the door for him.... Heather met with Ronan and Christine to discuss the hearing. Heather hated having to betray Chance and set him up, but the others reminded her that they were saving Chance's life by doing so. At the courthouse, Chance gave Nina a hug, then entered the hearing room with Sid, Heather and Ronan. Christine offered to keep Nina company in the hallway. Inside, Sid relayed to the judge how drugs were found in Chance's car. Chance began to laugh — then confessed that the drugs were his.
Jana stopped by Kevin's place, but he and Chloe were less than welcoming. Chloe warned Jana not to hurt Kevin again, then left for the hearing. Kevin let Jana in and she was surprised to hear that Chloe was living with him. Kevin bitterly replied that he and Chloe have both been screwed over by people they love. "You left me for my psycho brother," he spat. Jana tearfully apologized. Kevin noted that she can't be sorry because she doesn't have feelings. She shared that she's starting to feel things again. Kevin genuinely wanted her to recover. She explained that she wasn't able to connect to anything or anyone — except Ryder. Kevin asked why she came home. She admitted how strange it's been not being able to feel emotions, but all of the things that used to make her laugh connected back to Kevin. "For a long time, I held on to what we had," he said. "I did not give up on our love, but you and Ryder — that killed me. That killed what we had. There's a part of me that will always love you, but I'm not in love with you anymore. I have moved on." Later, Kevin gave Jana a box of her things and she blamed her recent behavior on her aneurysm. He wondered if the aneurysm brought her real feelings to the surface. Still, he gave her money so she could find a place to stay. She promised to pay him back with interest and sadly left.
Chloe arrived at the hearing and asked Christine how Chance was doing. Christine replied that she kept telling Nina that he'd be okay. She was surprised to see Chloe there.... Chance insisted that the drugs were his and was arrested. Heather asked to have a word with him and demanded to know what Chance was doing. He replied that he was being accountable, but she didn't believe that he really committed the crime. Chance was then led out in handcuffs, which horrified Nina. He was also surprised to see Chloe. Ronan informed Nina that Chance had confessed, but Nina refused to believe that he was guilty. Chloe feared that Chance would be harmed in jail since he's a cop. Chance took his mom aside and asked if she trusted him; she assured him that she does, but broke down as he was led off to prison. Later, Nina called Phillip and insisted that their son is innocent.... Ronan lamented to Christine and Heather that Chance had messed up their plan. Heather wanted Chance out of jail, but Christine warned that they'd tip their hand if they got him out. Ronan noted that by getting thrown in jail, Chance was in the thick of the drug ring.
Skye asked Adam why he let Sharon off the hook. He replied that he would never hurt Sharon. Skye was furious. "What is it gonna take for you to get over her?" she asked.... Sharon wondered to Michael why Adam wed Skye and why Adam would stay in town. Michael reasoned that by marrying Skye, she couldn't testify against him and that Adam wanted to play with the Newmans the way a cat does with a mouse. Michael invited Sharon to go to Gloworm's opening with him and Lauren. She accepted and looked forward to having some fun with friends. Meanwhile, Skye and Adam also planned to go to the club. Skye didn't think it was a good idea for an injured Adam to go out, but he wanted to bump into people he knows.
Chloe returned home and filled in Kevin on Chance's hearing. She wondered how she could've been so wrong about Chance. Kevin then told her about his meeting with Jana. Chloe assumed that Jana would be moving back in, but he shared that he sent Jana away. Kevin invited Chloe to accompany him to Gloworm's opening; she reluctantly agreed to be his guest. Later, Chloe put on a pink, sparkly dress and left with Kevin for the club. Jana lurked in the hallway and watched them leave.
At Gloworm, Jeff plunged the toilet and tried to keep Gloria's spirits up as she helped clean up the mess. He joked that it was like the theater where opening night would be terrible and then the show would be great. Glo wasn't so sure. Later, a dressed up Gloria welcomed Adam and Skye into the club. Adam was grateful to be welcomed so heartily; Glo replied that she knows what it's like to be booted out of a family. Still, she whispered to Jeff to make sure that their credit card was legit. Reporters arrived and Gloria announced that her first customer was Victor Newman. The reporters eyed Adam and stated that he's not Victor. Michael arrived and praised his mom for her work. He spied Adam and asked why he was there; Gloria replied that a little notoriety would be good for the club. She assured the reporters that the club would have the Who's Who of Genoa City society. She was thrilled when Sharon showed up and looked forward to an "unforgettable" evening.
Thursday
Jack invited Emily to go to Gloria's club with him, but she had to work. Later, Emily came downstairs and found the living room decorated ... for Christmas. They recalled that it was during the holidays when they fell in love and enjoyed celebrating Christmas in August. Unfortunately, they both kept getting work calls. "Merry Christmas," Jack sighed. Emily managed to find time to decorate the tree and thanked Jack for the sweet gesture. Still, she thought that they were both trying to hard to make things work. "Where does that leave us now?" she asked. "I honestly don't know," Jack replied.
At the G.C.A.C., Tucker and Ashley questioned Victor about the antique gun listing Jill found on Billy's computer and accused Newman of having Victoria bribe the Japanese official with it. Victor denied this and said that they don't have proof. He added that it's a Japanese custom to give a gift. He warned Tucker that if he makes a public accusation, he's going to pay. Ashley warned that Victor is going to lose his hold on the Japanese market, but he wasn't fazed. Later, Tucker invited Ashley to go to Gloworm with him. She reluctantly agreed to have one drink.
Paul and Christine arrived at Gloworm and Gloria eagerly welcomed them. Lauren then entered and found Michael in the crowd. Lauren wondered why Adam was there. Adam watched Sharon from his table. Nick approached Sharon at the bar and complimented Jeffrey — who was filling in for the bartender — on the place. Nick asked Sharon if she wanted to leave, but she planned to ignore Adam. Michael apologized to Sharon for encouraging her to come to the club, but she didn't blame Michael for Adam being there.
Kevin and Chloe arrived and were very impressed, to their surprise. Kevin declared the club "amazing" to Gloria, and she was pleased. Daniel also joined the crowd and everyone asked where Abby was. Glo hoped that the Naked Heiress would make an appearance.... Victoria and Billy were the next to show and enjoyed being able to be together in public. Glo and Jeff pounced on them and Vicky and Billy admitted that they're an item. Adam and Skye came over to them and Victoria prayed that the judge would put Adam in jail. "Do you feel the love?" Adam snarked to his wife. After, Skye marched over to Sharon, determined to get the scoop on the shooting. Sharon suggested that Skye get the details from Adam. Adam asked to speak with Sharon alone and Skye huffed away. He told Sharon that she looks beautiful. A photographer shot their picture, calling them "Mr. and Mrs. Newman," but Adam asked the cameraman to back off. Skye grabbed Adam's arm and reminded him that she's Mrs. Newman. She was angry with him for not correcting the press and implored him to stop mooning over his ex.
Jill entered, but Gloria wasn't happy to see her. Jill said that she's pleasantly surprised by the club, then spied Lauren.... Paul questioned Lauren about her feud with Jill, but Lauren didn't want to discuss it. Jill came over to their table and asked how Patty was doing; Paul replied that she's still missing. Jill then asked if Paul could do something for Chance.
Abby arrived, dressed to the nines, and gave a little pose as she stood in the entranceway. Daniel joined Abby and asked the paparazzi to stop photographing them. Abby revealed that she has a new project in the works — and that Jack is helping her get her inheritance. She planned to by a network with her cash and revealed that she has to act reckless on camera when she's really being savvy behind the scenes. She had a couple of drinks and acted silly, dancing and laughing like crazy. Victoria told her little sister that it's time for bed and Abby snapped at her for not helping with her money problems.
Jana arrived at the club and asked to speak with Kevin, but he refused. Billy didn't approve of Chloe hanging out with Kevin and wondered when she was going to get back together with Chance. Chloe asked him about Victoria and Billy replied that they weren't serious. Later, Victoria told Billy that she's having fun. Billy mentioned that his mother and Chloe think he's crazy about Victoria; Vicky joked that it wasn't true. Victor arrived and spied them smooching as the photographer shot them. A glowering Newman chastised his daughter for making a spectacle of herself, but she didn't want to hear it and walked away with Billy.
Paul was relieved that he didn't have to lie to Christine about the Chance situation the way he had to with Nina. Paul then reminded Chris that it would've been their anniversary. They regretted not being able to make their marriage work.
Victor went outside with Nick and Michael and filled them in on his discussion with Tucker and Ashley. Michael warned Victor that he could be in hot water if Tucker gets more information, and Victoria could be screwed, as well. Victoria overheard and wanted to know what they were talking about. Victor filled her in.
Abby climbed up on a table and began to take off her clothes and Abby crawled into a champagne fountain ... just as her mother and Tucker walked through the door. Ashley begged her to stop embarrassing herself, but Abby just laughed at her. Tucker advised Daniel to take Abby home.
Jana again asked Kevin for a moment and stated that she made a mistake by leaving with Ryder. She pleaded with Kevin for another chance.... Nick offered Sharon a ride home, but she decided to stay.... Paul and Christine embraced as they left the club — but it turned into a kiss. Nina arrived and caught them mid-smooch.
Jill spoke to the press about being a Fenmore and Lauren reamed her out. Sharon tried to break up their argument, but the ladies kept going at each other. Finally, Gloria kicked them out.
Ashley's face hardened as she encountered Adam. "Long time, no see, Ashley," he stated.
Friday
At the Abbott mansion, Emily removed the ornaments from the Christmas tree that Jack had set up for her. They agreed that trying to recreate the past never works. Emily wondered if they have a future and noted that they tried as hard as they could to make their relationship work. "I am in love with a man I cannot fully trust. I can't let go of all that's happened," Em said sadly, adding that she was leaving. They embraced.... Patty called Paul and told him that she's far away and doing fine, and is going to be a better person. "We're never going to see each other," she shared. "I'm never coming back to Genoa City." ... Paul stopped by Jack's and repeated his conversation with Patty. He said he was able to figure out that she was in South America. Emily told him that she's leaving town. Before she left, Jack gave her a gift — a little Christmas tree ornament shaped like an ice skate. Emily asked him to keep it so he could think of her. "I don't want to let you go," he said. "I think I could stay if I loved you a little bit less," she sighed and bid him farewell....
Nick paid Phyllis a visit at her penthouse, but she wasn't happy to see him. Phyllis shared that she and Summer are taking off for a while. He asked if she'd kissed Deacon just so he'd see it — and noted that Phyllis was going back to her old ways. Phyllis angrily stated that she wasted time being married to Nick. A fight ensued, mainly about Sharon. "I wanted this marriage more than you did, but a real marriage," she yelled. "I got sex, but Sharon got everything else. You think you're man enough for two women, but you're not." Nick admitted that he doesn't regret bringing Faith into the world. Phyllis suggested that they keep their distance for Summer's sake, but Nick thought it would be better for their child if they tried to get along. Phyllis sarcastically noted that she can't be as loving and forgiving like Sharon. He accused her of being insecure. "You did this to me!" she finally exploded. "You did this! Get out of my house!" Nick calmly replied that she was acting crazy. "You're crazy!" she yelled as he left.
Outside of Gloworm, Victor told Victoria that Billy has been using her to get information for Tucker and Ashley. Victoria refused to believe it. Billy joined them and Victor accused Billy of spying on her. Billy chased after Victoria and she accused him of telling Tucker about the gun. Billy denied it and insisted that he wouldn't get her into trouble. He declared his love for her, but she didn't buy it.
At Gloworm, Adam said hello to Ashley, but she didn't want to have anything to do with him. "You make me sick," she growled. Skye joined her husband and scoffed at Ashley's notion that some people are born victims. "And some people are born predators," Ashley shot back. After, Tucker tried to comfort Ashley. Things became more uncomfortable when they noticed that Victor was there. They wondered how Victor would respond to them getting information on him allegedly bribing a Japanese official. Tucker wanted to go to the Feds, but Ashley didn't. Tucker concluded that she was trying to protect Abby and agreed to hold off on calling the Feds. Ashley stepped out so she could check on Abby.
Jana pleaded with Kevin to give her another chance, but he replied that they've both changed. "My Jana wouldn't have slept with my brother," he seethed. Sharon sat down with Chloe and Kevin. When Sharon asked Chloe if she was covering the club for Restless Style, Chloe answered that Jill was doing the story. Jill suddenly appeared. "It's like saying ‘Beetlejuice,' " Kevin sighed. A nosy Jill questioned Sharon about chatting with Adam, while Kevin and Chloe rolled their eyes. Later, Chloe asked Jana why she was still there and Jana wanted to know if Chloe is dating Kevin — and reminded Chloe that she is Kevin's wife. After, an infuriated Jana watched as Chloe and Kevin laughed and joked together — and gripped her glass so hard that it shattered.
Victor took Adam aside and told his son to enjoy his last days of freedom. Adam was confident that he wouldn't go to jail, but Victor vowed that Adam would get what he deserves. After, Victor reminded Sharon not to forget how evil Adam is. "Do not get sucked back into this," Victor warned.... Skye implored Adam to forget about Sharon.
Jill complimented Jeffrey on the club; he believed that Jill was trying to get into his pants. Gloria joined them and called Jill desperate. Jill threatened to give Gloworm a bad review in Restless Style. After, Jill said hello to Tucker and he told her that he put the information she gave him on Victor to good use. He promised to get information about her birth parents. Later, Billy fired his mom from the magazine.... Nick found a tearful Victoria outside of the club and comforted her.
In South America, a redheaded Patty flirted with an attractive young man — and introduced herself as Mary Jane. On her leg was a cat tattoo.
Two cops arrived at Gloworm and announced that they were shutting the club down because they had a stripper, meaning Abby. Jeff and Gloria thought it was great that they were already notorious.
Adam and Sharon met in the alley behind the club and kissed passionately.
