Monday

Jack and Traci entered the Abbott manse after Adam's trial. Jack huffed that Victor is a moron for not wanting to do anything against Adam. Traci couldn't believe that Adam was let off. Jack blamed Adam for causing Ashley's problems and vowed to get back at the younger Newman. He also wasn't ready to give Victor a pass. Traci reminded him that Adam and Patty were also responsible for Colleen's death, so she knows what he's going through — and that Jack had convinced her to give Victor her daughter's heart. She didn't want to see Jack get caught up in his own bitterness.

At the G.C.A.C., Tucker and Ashley also discussed the verdict and couldn't believe that Adam got off so easily. Ashley admitted that it had been hard to discuss her personal tragedy and mental health on the stand. Tucker asked if she wanted to go to a more private place, but she refused to let Adam get to her. "I'm a survivor," she stated. Tucker jokingly suggested that they go to Japan for karaoke, but she was ready to live her life in Genoa City.

At Crimson Lights, Heather, Rafe and Billy were also upset about Adam and how he seemed to get away with everything. "Screw the system," declared Billy, who was ready to send Adam to a torture chamber. However, Victoria agreed with her dad and suggested that they just let their anger toward Adam go. Billy was surprised, but she didn't think there was anything that they could really do against Adam. Billy was still into torture. "What good would that do?" Victoria asked. "Make me feel better," he shrugged. Victoria was concerned that if they did something to Adam, he'd come after Reed or Delia. Rafe agreed with Victoria and noted that they didn't have the right to take the law into their hands — and that the last time they tried to do so at the Abbott cabin, it backfired. "Sometimes things don't turn out like we'd hoped," Victoria sighed, looking pointedly at Billy. She stepped away and Billy followed her out. They went back to his trailer and she sarcastically stated that she agrees with Billy about torturing Adam. Billy was all set to playfully spar with her, but she wasn't in the mood. He promised not to bait her that evening. She relaxed and joked around with him, then admitted that she has trust issues and sometimes overreacts. Billy admitted that he has a bad habit of leaving incriminating evidence — like their Jamaica wedding video and the information about the gun — on his computer. Victoria forgave him and they kissed.

Skye and Adam celebrated his freedom with champagne in their suite at the club. Skye was anxious for them to move on with their lives. Vance joined them in the celebration and announced that he'd filed the paperwork. When Skye learned what it was about, she asked Adam if he'd lost his mind and wondered why he couldn't just walk away.

Victor, Nikki, Sharon, Nick and Faith returned to the Newman ranch. Victor smiled as he watched Sharon coo over the baby. Nikki advised Nick to not try to get back at Adam because he could jeopardize his future. Victor agreed and noted that Adam wanted Nick to lock horns with him. Nick angrily reminded them that Adam stole his daughter. After Nick and Sharon left, Nikki worried that their son wouldn't listen to Victor's words about Adam. Nikki asked if Victor was sincere about what he'd said and he insisted that he really did plan to ignore his son. Victor explained that he felt a sense of obligation to Hope, but Nikki insisted that he didn't abandon his son. Victor replied that Adam believes that he did. "That boy's a lost cause and I don't want to interact with him ever again," he sighed. Nikki didn't think that he'd be able to ignore a person who'd threatened his children.... Nick and Sharon put Faith to sleep at her suite at the club. Nick implored her to find a new place to live so she wouldn't be near Adam, and invited them to live with him.... Later, Nikki and Victor were served with papers — for Adam's lawsuit against them. Nikki was horrified, especially since Adam wanted monetary compensation. Victor refused to give him a dime. Nikki couldn't believe that Adam wasn't through with torturing them, but Victor vowed that he was done.

Skye was furious with Adam for not telling her about the lawsuit, especially since it could affect the Newman Fund, but Adam was confident that everything would work out in their favor. She didn't want the spotlight to be on his family drama, but he wanted closure for what happened to him at the cabin. "They would've killed me," he said angrily. Skye believed that him moving on with his life is the best revenge, but Adam wanted to make Victor and everyone else, miserable.... Ashley was served with the papers for Adam's lawsuit at the club. Like Nikki, she was shocked... Rafe and Heather had similar reactions at the coffeehouse.... Jack was also furious when he was served and couldn't believe that Adam was suing Ashley for mental anguish. "Do you still think we should turn the other cheek?" he asked Traci. Later, Tucker and Ashley went to the Abbott home and Ashley blasted Adam. Jack wished they'd finished the job at the cabin. "This is war," he declared. After, Traci questioned Ashley about her relationship with Tucker and Ash was concerned that she'd become dependent on McCall. "He's wonderful; it's more me," she sighed. "I can't just let myself jump in and pray that there's a soft place to land."

Nick was served with Adam's papers — and noted that everyone who was at the cabin was being sued except Sharon.... Jack called Phyllis and warned her about the suit.... Nikki wondered if they could testify about all of the things that Adam did. Victor promised to protect his family.... Adam dreamed that he went back to Kansas and saw his mom playing with a younger version of him. His younger self told him that he's going to be a liar and a murderer and Hope angrily declared that she'd never rest in peace, thanks to what he'd done.... Victor recalled praying for his and Hope's child when she became pregnant. "I'm praying for all of us," he said quietly.

In a montage, Tucker called Ashley, but she didn't take it.... Rafe and Heather raised a toast.... Billy and Victoria hit the sheets. They were then served with the suit.... Sharon left her suite with Nick and Faith.... Nikki tried to comfort Victor as he crumpled the lawsuit papers.... Adam sat awake in bed, looking disturbed.

Tuesday

Chloe started researching Ronan on the Internet by finding the high school he supposedly attended. She called a former classmate who was helping to organize the upcoming reunion and learned that Ronan never went to that school.

Paul told Heather that while he was searching through his cop dad's old files on the long-ago investigation into Nina's stolen baby, Paul found the name of Pete Bender. This guy turned out to be the driver of the car transporting Nina and Chris when they were kidnapped by Rose years ago. It turned out Bender is now serving time in prison in another city. Paul contacted a P.I. friend there who could interview Bender.

Ronan told Chris that as soon as the investigation wraps up, he's leaving town. Chris suggested that he reveal his true identity to Nina once the case is closed and everyone's out of danger but Ronan didn't seem to have any interest in that. They were interrupted by Nina, who wasn't pleased to see Ronan. After he departed, Nina asked Chris if she's really over Paul and Chris said yes.

Michael assured Lauren that Jill has no evidence that their father intended to provide for Jill in his will. Michael suggested that his wife give Jill a small percentage of the Fenmore estate to placate Jill but Lauren refused. "Jill Foster isn't getting one penny of my father's money," Lauren groused. She was then perturbed when she tried calling her mother Joanna again but didn't get an answer. Meanwhile, Jill insisted to Kay that her claim on half of the Fenmore fortune was more about being a part of a family.

Heather confessed to Ronan that Chance passed her the heroin he scored while behind bars. "If those narcotics came out of our evidence room, we are a heartbeat away from closing this case," Ronan pointed out. "If you cared about Chance at all, you will tell me where they are." Heather revealed she stashed the drugs in her office but Chance showed up. After Ronan walked away, Chance told Heather he needed to move the drugs to his own hiding place but she told him it was too dangerous. She still wanted to go to Owen first so Chance agreed. Later, Heather explained everything to Owen but when she checked her desk, the drugs were gone. Owen accused Chance of taking them and ordered the drugs be found or else Chance will go back to jail and Heather will be fired. After Owen left, Heather admitted to Chance that she cares for him.

The hearing for Jill's case against Lauren began. Jill argued that she was entitled to half of the Fenmore estate but Lauren contended that her father never knew of Jill's existence. The judge then informed Jill, "Your suit is baseless, not supported by facts or the law." The hearing was interrupted when Jill's lawyer announced an important witness had arrived. Lauren was shocked when her mother walked in.

After Bender was interviewed, Paul was able to find out the names of the couple who adopted Nina's first baby. He informed Chris and Nina that her son was raised as Aidan Lansing and he went to college in California. Chris was anxious as Nina trilled, "After all these years, I'm gonna meet my son."

Chloe confronted Ronan at Jimmy's with her findings, that the identity he's going by doesn't exist except for a forged Facebook page. She threatened to expose this in Restless Style unless he told her the truth. Ronan admitted that he is Nina's son and then called Chris with the news that Chloe now knows. Chris then shared, "Your mom's about to find you."

Wednesday

Lily and Cane were looking forward to some much-needed sleep but Kay called and asked him to come to the courthouse "to talk some sense into Jill." An exhausted Cane agreed and headed out.

Lily called Mac and invited her to come see the babies. Mac asked if she could bring J.T. and Reed and Lily readily agreed. The trio showed up at the Ashby residence, where Mac asked for a moment alone with the twins in their nursery. She cooed, "I want you guys to know how much I enjoyed the seven months that we spent together." Later, Lily asked Mac to be the twins' godmother but Mac declined, explaining that she has an emotional attachment to the babies that could spiral out of control.

Lauren and Michael were stunned that Joanna was present to testify on Jill's behalf. Joanna took the stand and when asked if her ex-husband knew he had an illegitimate daughter, she answered, "From the day we met to the day we divorced, Neil brooded about it constantly. Unfortunately, that illegitimate daughter was responsible in the end for turning my own daughter into a spoiled brat." As Lauren stewed, Joanna explained that when she first met Neil, he was depressed that Jill's mother had died, then channeled his energy into Lauren after she was born. "He cared more about a dead woman than his own wife," Joanna griped.

After having sex with Abby, Daniel wanted lunch but she declared, "I don't do lunch." Daniel challenged her to whip something up in the kitchen and she accepted. Daniel wasn't impressed when Abby produced cereal and toast. In a serious moment, he mentioned that he wasn't looking for a serious relationship and she assured that they were on the same page.

At Gloworm, Gloria and Jeff were pleased that their nightclub has become the hottest spot in Genoa City, thanks to the antics on opening night. Jeff introduced a knockout named Candy who was applying for the bartending job, which made Gloria a little jealous. While Jeff was showing Candy around the place, another applicant showed up and Glo stashed him in a storeroom.

A moody Kevin admitted to Chloe that today is his and Jana's anniversary. Chloe asked him to help her set up a photo shoot at Gloworm for a Restless Style cover. Jana later showed up with flowers in hand and thanked Kevin for them. He explained that he forgot to cancel the order he placed with the florist months ago. Jana was hurt that Kev didn't mean to send them. Chloe reported that the models can't come due to stomach flu. She suggested that she and Kevin fill in; he reluctantly agreed. Daniel and Abby showed up so she could shoot the cover. Chloe and Kevin then posed in Roaring '20s garb, while a sobbing Jana thrashed her flowers.

While court was in recess, Lauren confronted Joanna. "I'm done with you," Lauren seethed. "So you get on your plane, and you go back to your villa and your younger men, and you stay the hell out of my life!" Meanwhile, Kay reamed Jill for her tactics. "It looks like you might get what you want today," Cane told Jill. "I hope it's worth what you're giving up." The hearing reconvened and, in light of Joanna's testimony, the judge awarded Jill half of the Fenmore estate. Lauren wanted to appeal but Michael advised it would be a waste of money.

Lily told Cane that Mac turned down the offer for godmother role but Lily had someone else in mind. Since she would've wanted Colleen for the job, Lily asked Coll's mom Traci, who happily accepted ... Gloria informed Jeff that she hired another bartender. He was upset, as were Kevin and Daniel, when Deacon showed up as the new employee... Mac told J.T. that she'll move in with him.... Jill felt mighty alone after her victory.

Thursday

The Abbotts, plus Abby, dined at Jack's. They discussed Adam's lawsuit and were still reeling about it. However, Jack noted that Victor would finally be getting what he deserved. He wanted to separate the Abbotts from the Newmans, but Ashley and Abby didn't want the families going to war again when they already had Adam to contend with. Billy got up to leave and Ashley saw him out.... Abby questioned Jack about getting her trust back; he noted that she made a fool of herself at Gloworm and encouraged her to behave herself so people would take her seriously. After, Ashley requested that Jack watch what he says about Victor in front of Abby. Later, Abby told her mom that she thought Ashley had been courageous by going on the stand at the trial. Traci happily informed them that she's going to be the godmother of Cane and Lily's twins.

At the Newman ranch, Michael met with Victor, Nikki, Victoria and Nick and noted that it was their word against Adam's. Nikki wondered whose body was in the stables that they'd thought was Skye's; Victoria also noted that perhaps that could prove that Skye's journal was an elaborate hoax. Michael was prepared to help them file a countersuit. Meggie interrupted and Victor introduced her to the family. Victoria asked if Meggie was a guest; Nikki explained that the woman is her personal assistant. Michael was concerned about Meggie, but Victor assured him that he was just helping her out and there was nothing to worry about. Nikki also defended Meggie. Still, Michael wanted to do another background check on her. Later, Meggie presented Nikki with a drink, but Nikki informed her that she can't have it because she's sober.... Victor instructed Michael to have Adam watched at every turn. After, Nikki told Victor about Meggie's drink, but insisted that she's become fond of the other woman.

Adam ran into Sharon at Crimson Lights and she wondered if he followed her there. He denied it. She asked why he didn't include her in the lawsuit and he replied that she was the only one who believed in him. She warned him that she's not on his side and will testify against him, if she's called to the stand. Later, Nick joined her and Faith and she thanked him for letting them stay at his place. She told him that Adam was just at the coffeehouse. Nick implored her to stop encouraging her ex; she shrugged that they live in a small town and they're bound to run into each other. Sharon then became upset and stated that he can't dictate who she sees — and that he was responsible for chasing Phyllis out of town. A miffed Nick retorted that he's ready to wash his hands of both women.

Skye questioned Vance about the suit and asked if Adam was really suing everyone except Sharon. She called Adam and reminded him that they had a meeting about their hedge fund. He soon joined her at Gloworm and she reamed him out for not being present. He reminded her that she wouldn't have the fund without him. Skye warned him that they'll bring up Hightower in the suit and it would hurt their fund. She scoffed that he and Sharon wouldn't get back together and he accused her of being jealous. "You mess with me, I'll make your life a living hell," Skye stated. Jack arrived and they approached him. Skye offered him an equity stake in the fund and he was impressed. Skye stepped away and Jack brought up Sharon; he warned Adam that Sharon would always go back to Nick. "Never say never," Adam replied. Later, Jack informed Skye that Adam is easily manipulated.

At home, Paul did some work on his computer. Nina thanked him for finding her son's name. He invited her to "sleep over" later that night — and gave her a copy of his house key. After Nina left for the coffeehouse, Christine stopped by. Meanwhile, Nina went to Crimson Lights and kept thinking about Paul and Christine's kiss which she'd witnessed.... Chris asked if Paul had found out anything more about Nina's son; he said he hadn't. She informed him that she plans to leave town soon for another case. He wondered if she was seeing anyone and she replied that she's single. Paul brought up their kiss. She tried to avoid having the discussion and they ended up kissing again. They fell to the couch, but she pushed him away and guiltily reminded him that he's with Nina. Christine then hurried out before anything else could happen between them. Nina returned to Paul's and sensed that something was going on as she spied Chris bolting out of the building. She straightened a lampshade, which was hanging at an angle and then found one of Chris's earrings on the couch. Paul entered the living room and was startled to see Nina. She asked what Christine had been doing there. Paul replied that Christine had said that he belonged with Nina. "She said?" Nina asked incredulously. "What about what YOU said?" Paul admitted that he hadn't been the one to stop things from going further and Nina slapped him.

Victoria went to Billy's trailer and greeted him with a passionate kiss. She noted that if Jack hadn't gotten Adam to help manipulate Victor's diary, Adam might have moved back to Kansas. Billy replied that Adam was the spawn of "asshat" Victor and Victoria reminded that she's the "asshat's" child, too. She stormed into the bedroom and Billy followed -- but they got stuck inside because the doorknob still hadn't been fixed. They forgave each other and enjoyed a shower together. Later, the fireman whom Billy had called arrived and caught them in the act. They were embarrassed for a moment, but continued with their shower.

Abby, Traci and Ashley went to Colleen's grave and Abby spoke aloud to her late sister. She told her that Traci is going to be the twins' godmother, then broke down over how much she misses Colleen. "It's not fair that you're gone; I really need my sister," she cried. Traci comforted Abby and reminded her that they'd always have each other.

Michael and Vance had a meeting at the coffeehouse. Vance said that his client would settle the suit for the right price — which would be eight digits. Yikes! Michael warned him that his clients were ready for a countersuit. Adam returned to the coffeehouse and vowed to Sharon that he'd find a way to be free of Skye soon. Sharon didn't want anything to do with him, but he didn't believe it and was willing to wait for her. She left — and left her sweater behind. Later, Skye called Michael. "How can I help you?" he asked. "The question you should ask is how I can help you," she replied.

Chris went to Jimmy's bar to drown her troubles. Nick entered and was happy to see Christine. He asked what was bothering her, but she didn't want to talk about it. She was surprised when he told her that he's single. They raised a toast to being unattached. Nick stated that she did the right thing by defending Daniel after Cassie died. They then watched a Cubs game together and had a passionate discussion about sports. She playfully asked if he wanted to make a bet on the game that was playing. They had a great time watching together — and then Nick kissed her! Chris was surprised for a moment, but kissed him back. Phyllis later went to the bar and spied Nick smooching a blonde whom she assumed was Sharon.

Friday

At Crimson Lights, Sharon picked up Faith's baby blanket, which she'd left behind.... Phyllis spied Nick kissing a blonde, whom she assumed was Sharon, at Jimmy's. She left before she could see that it was Christine and went to the coffeehouse. She was surprised to see Sharon and Faith there. They discussed Adam's suit and Sharon admitted that she wasn't named in it. Sharon told Phyllis that she's grateful to her rival for helping her get Faith back. Phyllis coyly suggested that Sharon call Nick.... At Jimmy's, Nick and Chris's kissing was cut short when he got a call from Summer's babysitter. Before he left to be with his daughter, he and Christine agreed to pretend that their makeout session hadn't happened.

In the trailer, Billy and Victoria continued to kiss after enjoying their sexy shower. Victoria got a call from the Newman Enterprise secretary, asking her to meet Victor. Billy joked about her running when Daddy calls and she got annoyed. As she left, Jack arrived and scoffed about Billy not working things out with Victoria. He warned that a Newman and Abbott together would never work, but Billy noted that he and Victoria were still together. Jack still didn't think it was a good idea for them to see each other and urged Billy to break up with her until the lawsuit was settled. Billy refused.

Victoria met with Victor at his office and he warned her that the FCC might target her for legal action in regards to her giving a gift to the Japanese official. She implored him to get her out of this trouble and reminded him that he was the one who told her to give the official the gun. Victor replied that Tucker isn't going to make this go away, and she accused her father of sacrificing her. He wanted her to do "less significant" jobs at Newman. She was furious with him for demoting her, but he noted that she should've been more discreet with her actions. Victor then blamed Billy for everything and said that he wouldn't tolerate her being with the younger Abbott. He gave her an ultimatum: choose him or Billy and she chose Billy. She later packed up her belongings and handed Victor her letter of resignation. "You walk out this door and you will not come back," he warned her. "I wasn't planning to," she answered.

Nina went to Heather's office looking for Chance, but he wasn't there. Paul arrived, also to see Heather, and Nina was all set to leave. Paul insisted that she stay and explained that he wanted more information in order to find Nina's son. Nina thanked him for helping her. Heather went online to look up Aiden Lansing. Ronan joined them as Heather did her research, but there was little online. Paul speculated that he left the country or changed his name, which upset Nina. Paul followed her out. Ronan didn't think it was a good idea for Heather to use the department computer to help find Nina's kid, and they argued over whether Ronan took the drugs they were using in their case. Ronan accused her and Chance of messing up their case.... Nina told Paul that he doesn't have to keep looking for her son. He replied that he cares about her and insisted that he wants to be with her. Nina didn't respond and just told him to let her know what he learns about her son. Christine later stopped by the Chancellor Estate to see Nina and shared that she was leaving town right then. Chris regretted ever coming to Genoa City in the first place. Nina asked if Christine still loves Paul. Christine hesitated for a long time and confessed that she still loves Paul -- but that it would be impossible to get back what she and Paul once had. She and Nina hugged good-bye and Chris urged her not to give up on finding her son. After, Nina called someone and said that there was something that person should know.... Chris called Ronan and said that once the case was over, Nina deserved to know that he's her son.

Nick was greeted by a happy Summer, but Phyllis was cool toward him. She let him know that she saw him kissing a "blonde bimbo" at the bar. Still, she suggested that Summer spend the night with Nick. When Summer went upstairs to pack her things, Nick insisted that they discuss Jimmy's. Phyllis pretended to not care and left. Nick then got a call from Sharon, who asked if he could help their teething baby calm down. He agreed to meet them at the coffeehouse. Meanwhile, Jack ran into Sharon and explained that he was there to meet with a lawyer about Adam's suit. He vowed to not let Adam get one dime.... Phyllis called Jack and asked if he'd meet her at Gloworm. He promised to get there as soon as he could.... Nick and Summer joined Sharon and she told him about her encounter with Phyllis. He admitted that he's had "a hell of an evening." Summer leaned over and spread whipped cream over Faith's nose, making them laugh. Sharon then suggested that the little girl turn Nick into a milkshake and Summer dabbed some whipped cream on his face.

Phyllis asked the bartender at Gloworm for a drink; when he turned around, she saw that it was Deacon. He prepared her beverage, but Phyllis didn't trust him enough to drink it. He apologized for framing Daniel for murder, but reminded her that he'd helped fix her car tire -- and then some. Deacon offered her another drink, but she said that one was enough. She took a sip and complimented his drink-making skills. "I do a lot of things well," he whispered, leaning in close. He grabbed her and they kissed -- and she slapped him.

Victoria returned to Billy's and announced that she quit Newman. Billy was thrilled and got out some beers to celebrate. "To a life without Victor Newman!" she toasted, vowing to start with a clean slate. She refused to ever return to the Newman Ranch and planned to find a new place to live. Billy invited her to move in. Victoria accepted. He suggested that they get a new place together, but she was all set to live in the trailer.

Paul ran into Christine at the coffeehouse and asked if she was going to leave without saying good-bye. She admitted that she was, but invited him and Nina to D.C. They embraced and she left.... Heather complained to Ronan that Owen might fire or arrest her. Ronan assured her that he had everything covered, but she didn't trust him. "All you need to know is, I'm going to take care of everything," he promised.

Jack went to Newman and informed Victor that he's having his lawyer separate the lawsuit into two cases: one for the Abbotts and one for the Newmans. Victor blamed Jack for roping Adam into forging the diary; Jack blamed Victor for bringing Patty to town and for Adam gaslighting Ashley. Jack then taunted Victor about Victoria siding with Billy. Victor warned that if he wants something destroyed, it will be. Jack demanded that Vic stay away from Billy. After, Victor made a call asking someone to find out everything on Billy, including every little dirty secret.

Jack went to Gloworm just in time to see Phyllis slap Deacon.
