Monday
Lily defended Cane to Neil when they explained how Cane couldn't be the
father of Chloe's unborn child. Neil wasn't so sure Cane was remembering
correctly since he was drunk. Meanwhile at the hospital, the doctor warned
Chloe that she was experiencing some difficulties in her pregnancy. Chloe
freaked out and yelled at the doc. After, she spoke to her unborn baby,
complaining about all the things she's giving up for it, including caffeine
and sushi. Amber then arrived, surprised that Chloe called her. Chloe
informed her how she's bleeding and might lose the baby. She was also upset
that Cane wasn't there and admitted that she was scared.... Cane reported to
Lily that Chloe really was in the hospital. Cane refused to set foot in the
hospital, but Lily wanted to check in on her. Neil agreed with Cane that
they should stay away from her. Lily replied that she understood what it was
like to lose a baby.
Michael came to the Newman Ranch as he and Nicholas tried to figure out
where Victor had gone. Nick wanted to bring in the FBI, but Adam feared that
the paparazzi would arrive along with them and affect Newman Enterprises. He
suggested that they simply say that Victor was taking time to grieve for
Sabrina. Neil came by and tried to keep the brothers from arguing.
Meanwhile, Nikki almost took a drink, but Victoria arrived and told her that
they'd found Vic's epilepsy medication. Nikki tried to stay calm, but
Victoria was upset. Vicky feared that Victor killed himself, but Nikki
didn't think he'd do that. Victoria them blamed herself for not accepting
his marriage to Sabrina. Nikki told her not to be so hard on herself and
then blamed herself instead. Victoria disagreed and supported her mom.
Later, Adam and Nick continued to argue over Victor and whether to alert the
FBI. Nick decided to call the FBI, then groused to Michael that Adam might
end up putting Victor in more danger. Michael later filled in Nikki and
Victoria on the happenings and let them know that he was on top of helping
to find Victor. He also told them Adam seemed to be making a move to take
over Newman. Baldwin assured Nikki that Victor would be fine.
Neil signed for a DNA test that was sent for Lily at Newman. Meanwhile, Lily
and Cane went to see Chloe; she snapped at Lily. The doctor informed them
that Chloe was doing better. Chloe was angry with Cane for not admitting
that he was the baby's father. This upset Lily and she stormed out with
Cane. Later, Chloe was dismissed from the hospital, while Cane and Lily went
to Crimson Lights. There they ran into Amber and Lily questioned Amber about
her friendship with Chloe. She then warned her to be careful of Chloe and
expressed her regret that Amber and Daniel had broken up. Amber asked when
Lily and Cane were getting married; Lily replied that they hadn't set a
date. Amber then offered to design her wedding dress, but Lily explained
that she'd probably get one made by Forrester. After, Cane told a thrilled
Lily that Jill asked him to take over Jabot. Lily then saw the envelope with
the DNA results on the table. They opened them and learned that Cane could
be the father of Chloe's baby. Just then Chloe arrived.
Victor sat in a Mexican bar, drinking. He then noticed a little girl playing
a certain children's game in the establishment. Victor joined in and even
smiled a little as he played with her. As he left the establishment, he
grabbed a basket of roses and threw one to the little girl. He then had her
get his medicine for him.
At Newman, Adam arranged for a press conference. Neil didn't think it was a
good idea. An FBI agent then came to speak with Adam; Adam introduced
himself as Victor, Jr. At the Ranch, Michael and Nick sat with members of
the FBI. Nick feared that Victor's disappearance was foul play. The agents
didn't think Adam should go to the media. But it was too late: Nikki and
Victoria were shocked when they turned on the news and learned that Adam had
issued a press conference. He stated that he'd be running Newman
Enterprises. People questioned why Nick and Victoria weren't there; Adam
replied that they were no longer with the company. Neil stopped the
conference. Victoria then showed up and was barraged by the reporters; Neil
shooed away the paparazzi. At home, Nikki poured herself another drink, but
ended up dumping it in the bushes before she took a sip.... Once the
reporters left, Victoria reamed out Adam — and slapped him!.... In the
Mexican bar, Victor made a mysterious call.
Tuesday
Cane went to see Jill at Jabot and filled her in on how the DNA results said
he could be the father of Chloe's unborn child. Jill asked if Chloe could've
manipulated the results, but Cane trusted that the company that took them
was reputable. Cane again tried to remember being with Chloe. Meanwhile,
Lily confided in Colleen at Crimson Lights. Lily wondered if she really
should've trusted that Cane hadn't slept with Chloe.
At Indigo, Neil and Tyra admired one of her family photos. Tyra felt
responsible for Devon dropping out of school; Neil assured her that Devon
would find his own way. Later, Chloe relaxed at Indigo. Devon informed Neil
about the results of the DNA test. After, Devon confronted Cane about
cheating on Lily. "I never thought you were right for my sister," he
admitted. "Your opinion of me now cannot be any lower than my opinion of
myself," Cane sadly replied. He insisted that he loves Lily.... Neil told
Tyra about Cane and Chloe. Tyra wondered if Chloe would give the baby up for
adoption, but Neil replied that Chloe wouldn't give up the chance to raise a
Chancellor child.... Later, Lily returned home and Devon left her and Cane
alone. She advised Cane to marry Chloe. Cane begged for another chance, but
Lily believed he should do the right thing for the baby.
At Newman, Nicholas told the FBI agent that he wanted to offer an award for
anyone who could give them information on Victor's whereabouts. Adam was
still set on making sure the company ran smoothly, and the brothers
continued to argue. After, Nikki came by and reamed out Adam for holding the
press conference about Victor's absence. Adam reminded Nikki that she was
responsible for bringing David Chow into their lives and tearfully revealed
that his ex-girlfriend Skye had been killed by David. He also informed her
that Brad knew about David's gambling problems.... In order to get his mind
off of Victor and Adam, Nick and Phyllis enjoyed a make-out session that led
to them having sex.... Heather comforted Adam about Victor disappearing just
as they were starting to get close.
At the coffeehouse, Michael and Lauren discussed his "father" and how the
person he'd met wasn't really his dad. Lauren encouraged him to find his
real father. Michael revealed that his dad was a math professor who'd been
fired from the college he taught at for sleeping with one of his students.
Later, Michael received a picture of a man who could be his real father, but
feared it was another dead end in his search for him.
Nikki confronted Brad about keeping David's gambling problems from her and
handed Jill Victoria's resignation from Jabot. She also warned Brad that
Jill would eventually dump him from the company, too. After, Jill assured
Brad that despite what Nikki said, she had total confidence in him at Jabot.
After, David looked through a file on David.... An FBI agent came by the
Newman Ranch wanting to ask questions of a family member. Nikki introduced
herself as Mrs. Victor Newman.
Wednesday
To Sharon, Jack applauded Phyllis's choice for the next cover but also
confirmed he was going ahead with the David Chow article despite Nikki and
Nick's bitter protests. Later, Phyllis and Sharon squabbled and Phyl
explained, "You were a pity appointment, Sharon. Face it. And pity
appointments should do things like make coffee and tea and open mail. You
should leave the important stuff to the pros."
Daniel and Colleen agreed to go out on a date. Meanwhile, Amber felt bad
that she didn't plan a bachelorette party for Jana, but insisted that there
would be one that night! Jana was upset when she consulted the Ouija board
about her and Kevin's future and it still indicated "goodbye." Amber
grudgingly agreed to invite Colleen to the party at Jana's request but when
Amber extended the invitation, Coll declined because "I have a date."
Gloria was in a bad mood because she couldn't attend the stockholders’
meting at Jabot. Jeffrey pointed out that his wife has purchased enough stock to be there, but she didn't want to expose her ownership yet. However
Jeffrey also reminded that everyone knows she was given some shares while
she was an executive so that means she should still be able to go without
arousing suspicion. Later, Gloria was stunned when Jill fired her.
Jill ignored Kay's warning that appointing Cane as CEO of Jabot was "a very
wrong move." Cane was also hesitant of accepting the job, but Jill wouldn't
hear of it. Meanwhile, Traci showed up for the Jabot meeting with Ashley's
proxy in hand. Brad asked his ex to support him as the new CEO. The meeting
began and Jill assured the stockholders that a recent audit proved that
David didn't appropriate any company funds. Brad was not amused when Jill
then announced she was appointing Cane as new CEO. Cane then gave a rousing
speech but Brad walked out in the middle of it.
Nick was surprised to find Noah at the ranch. The teen heard about his
grandfather and decided to come home but Nick wasn't happy to hear that his
son had hitchhiked.
Brad gave Jack proof that Jill hid David's gambling problem in order to
force Nikki out of Jabot. "You realize if I print this, it's going to blow
Jabot's power structure sky high," Jack noted but Brad reasoned that it was
all Jill's fault.
Phyllis found out that Amber and Daniel broke up so Phyllis gave Amber 72
hours to vacate the penthouse.... Traci told Brad that it sickened her to
hear Cane talk about Jabot.... Cane admitted to Katherine that he thinking
about marrying Chloe in order to establish a legal tie to his child....
Sharon was excited to see Noah.... Gloria and Jeff revealed to Jack that
they have been buying up Jabot stock and suggested they all combine their
shares to throw out the Chancellors. Jack was very intrigued by the
proposition.... Jana was excited when she arrived at Indigo for her
bachelorette party.... The bartender informed Victor that the man he is
looking for checked into a nearby hotel. Vic gave the man some cash and
headed out.
Thursday
At Jana's bachelorette party, Chloe was thrilled to hear that Cane had been
appointed CEO of Jabot. She then assured Katherine that "I'm going to give
the best to this little larva." Amber was depressed when Daniel showed up at
Indigo with Colleen. Someone got up and announced, "Ladies and gentlemen,
it's Karaoke night! Let's start it off with Daniel and Colleen." Daniel
reluctantly got up to sing with Colleen and Amber didn't like the way they
were interacting so she told Jana's guests that the party was moving over to
Amber's place. "Strippers!" Kay excitedly anticipated about the change in
venues.
Cane was depressed when Lily came home only to pack up her things to
move out. Cane begged her not to leave. However, Neil and Devon showed up to
help with the move and ordered Cane to leave Lily alone. After everything
was packed up, Lily asked her family to leave so she could speak to Cane.
Once they were alone, Lily said, "I just want you to know that I love you,
too, and I always will." Cane said he would marry Chloe but divorce her as
soon as he establishes his legal rights to the baby and come back to Lily.
However, Lily told him not to make any promises.
Michael learned that the FBI wanted to explore a possible link between
Victor's disappearance and the explosion of the Newman jet last year which
almost killed Nick. Michael then lamented to Kevin about not being able to
find his dad. "Everything happens for a reason, right?" Kev offered. The
brothers then shared a close moment as they discussed Kevin's upcoming
wedding.
Daniel and Colleen both realized they were on a rebound date. "Neither one
of us is ready to start dating again," Colleen noted and Daniel agreed. She
also pointed out that it's obvious that Daniel is still not over Amber.
Kevin showed up at the bachelorette party (now at Amber's place) dressed as
a fortune teller. After making a few humorous predictions for the guests,
Kevin started taking off his clothes. "I did not come here to see my
brother-in-law strip," said an embarrassed Lauren. After the party
concluded, Amber passed out on her sofa.
Chloe showed up on Cane's doorstep and asked him to come to her doctor's
appointment the next day. "I can't deal with this right now," Cane groaned
and closed the door on Chloe.... Tyra confessed to Neil that she is not
Ana's mother — Yolanda is. "Then that means that Devon is Ana's brother,"
Neil stammered.... Daniel slipped into Amber's apartment, where she was
still out cold, and said "Life without you, it's not as much fun." He
covered her up and left.
Friday
At Indigo, Neil told Tyra that he didn't sleep very well after learning that Ana is Yolanda's daughter. Nikki, Victoria and Nick showed up. Nikki and Neil then explained to Victoria and Nick that in order to protect Newman Enterprises during Victor's absence, they need to convince the board members to put someone they all can trust in charge. Nick assumed that Neil was the most likely choice but he declined. Nikki revealed that Victoria should run the family biz. She thought Nick was better suited but he begged off. "Okay, I'll do it," Victoria agreed. Neil said all they needed was a simple majority to make her the new boss.
Kevin and Jana plus their wedding guests arrived at the ashram in Malibu where they were greeted by their guide Leilani. She explained that the ashram was vegan, cell phones were not allowed and everyone had to remove their shoes. Amber was glad that Colleen missed her flight and Daniel was, for the time being, here without her. The guru who would be officiating the ceremony, showed up and assumed that because of the energy between them, Amber and Daniel were the marrying couple. While Kevin thought the guru looked familiar, Amber and Daniel were enjoying each other's company ... that is, until Colleen suddenly showed up.
Lily moved back into Devon's campus house, but she dreaded running into Cane at Jabot during a photo shoot. Meanwhile, Chloe was shocked when Cane insisted that they get married. "You move in the spare room in the back of my house," he explained. "The only responsibilities we'll ever share will be those that have anything to do with the baby. Other than that, we'll lead separate lives." Chloe excitedly accepted the terms and Cane presented her with an engagement ring.
At Newman Enterprises, Adam was surprised when Neil, Nikki, Victoria and Nick emerged from an office after an emergency board meeting. Since he wasn't a board member, Adam was not invited to attend. When Adam demanded to know what the meeting was about, Victoria announced, "Say hello to your new boss." She also ordered Adam to move off the ranch but he pointed out that their father invited him to live there. Victoria said she would check into that.
After revealing that Lily is not his biological daughter, Neil advised Tyra to come clean with Ana. A suspicious Devon approached them and said, "Whatever it is you guys are talking about, you probably should tell me now."
Paul told Nikki that a bus driver claimed someone fitting Victor's description was a passenger on his bus headed to El Paso, Texas. "My guess is Victor's headed to Mexico," Paul surmised. Meanwhile, Victor watched as Walter entered the bar and ordered a drink.
Kevin and Jana's wedding began and when the guru appeared, Gloria spied him and gasped, "Lowell."
