At home, Victoria offered Billy breakfast, but he replied that he had to get to Sharon's trial. Still, he had some of her coffee. She handed him some painkillers and filled him in on her argument with Chloe, and how Chloe wanted Jana to stay away from Delia. Billy promised to take care of it and agreed that Jana shouldn't be fired.
Jana got dressed and put on a blonde wig and prepared to find Daisy's baby.... At Crimson Lights, Chloe complained to Kevin about Victoria and Jana. Kevin suggested that she not call Jana a "wackadoodle" when trying to make her case with Billy. Chloe was still determined to keep Delia away from Kevin's ex. Gloria joined them and agreed that Jana couldn't be trusted. Kevin didn't think that she could keep Delia from Billy, but Chloe was prepared to take it to court.... Victoria called Jana and asked if they could talk right away. Jana agreed, but went to the bank first to check on Billy's account saying that he'd taken out $2 million. When the teller asked for a photo ID, Jana pretended that she'd left her wallet in her other purse and was doing the errand for her boss — and added that he was on an African safari. After, Jana went to see Victoria, who told her about Chloe's complaints. Jana was horrified and believed that Chloe was using Delia as a pawn. Victoria assured her that she's not being fired. Jana was relieved that she and Billy had so much faith in her. Victoria gushed about how she now has the daughter she's always dreamed of having. Lucy began to cry so Jana went to check on her.
At the Newman Ranch, Victor moped as he thought about Sharon's murder trial and how his testimony didn't help her. Diane joined him and asked where he'd been the night before. He replied that he was up late and didn't want to disturb her. She felt badly that his testimony at the trial hadn't gone well. Diane tried to get Victor to open up to her. He shared that he'd told the truth about what had happened to Skye in Hawaii, but it hadn't helped Sharon. Diane asked what did happen in Hawaii, noting that he'd never told her the whole story. She offered to spend the day with him, but he turned her down. Later, Diane got a call from Kyle's school to inform her that he was hurt playing basketball. Victor insisted on going with her.
Gloria, Kevin and Chloe sat down and the ladies kept going on about Jana. Kevin warned Chloe not to push Billy, noting that Delia will get hurt. He was sure that Jana would never hurt a child. Glo reminded him how Jana had tried to kill him and Colleen; Kevin argued that she'd had a brain tumor. Chloe was angry with him for defending his ex and stormed out.
At the courthouse, Jack and Nick discussed the trial and Jack blamed Victor for Sharon's predicament. They wondered if Phyllis and Adam had found evidence to help Sharon.... Sharon met with Vance at the jail; he urged her to stay focused and answer questions as briefly as possible. She feared that the damage had already been done. After, she took the stand and the D.A. questioned Adam's loyalty to her. Sharon insisted that Adam was proving his loyalty. D.A. Walsh asked Sharon about her relationship with Adam, and how it connected to her encounter with Skye. He argued that if Nick didn't think that Faith was safe with Sharon in daylight, then Skye had no chance meeting up with Sharon alone at night. Walsh later accused Sharon of trying to "hunt" Skye down in Hawaii; the judge objected to the terminology. Sharon explained that she'd taken a photo, but lost the camera in the volcano. "Like Skye fell?" Walsh sniffed. The judge again chastised him. Just then, Sharon spied Adam in the back of the courtroom. Walsh demanded that Adam be arrested; he and Sharon were both handcuffed and led out.... Jack got a text from Phyllis, as well as a note from Kyle's school. Nick confided to Billy that he was afraid of how the trial would affect Noah and Faith. After, Nick called Victoria and asked if they could meet. They dined at the G.C.A.C and Nick wished his life were a little more boring.
Sharon and Adam happily reunited in the jail. He reminded her how strong she is and they kissed passionately. Vance joined them and gave Sharon her camera. Adam shared that there had been a video of her and Skye on the camera, but the memory card had been taken. "I'm sorry," he whispered. Sharon thought that they should put Adam on the stand, but Vance didn't think it was a good idea. He later got a call that Adam was to take the stand after all.
Victor and Diane cared for Kyle, who'd hurt his wrist. Victor promised to play video games with him. Jack arrived to check on Kyle; Victor assured him that he and Diane had taken good care of the boy. When Diane and Kyle stepped away, Jack reminded Victor that Kyle is his son. He then told Victor that Adam is back.
Billy met up with Chloe at the Chancellor Estate and they argued over her wanting Jana fired. Chloe called Jana a "nutjob" and didn't want her near Delia. Chloe planned to take their daughter out of school to get her away from Jana. Billy refused to let her. Chloe then wouldn't let him see Delia, lying that she was sick. But just then, a very healthy Delia came downstairs to see her father. Billy planned to pick her up after school and take her for ice cream — and warned Chloe not lie to him about Delia. Billy took Delia out on the steps when he got a call from the bank teller; she filled him in on the woman who'd been trying to get a copy of his wire transfer. The teller suggested that she change his passwords so his account wouldn't end up in the wrong hands. Billy called Victoria and told her about the situation. She planned to have Jana shred their bank statements for them.... Glo again warned Kevin that Jana is unhinged, but he didn't want to hear it.... Chloe was determined to prove that Jana's dangerous. Later, Gloria called Chloe and offered to help her.

Vance and Sharon had reservations about putting Adam on the witness stand. "I'll make sure they hear about my trip to Thailand and seeing that video of you trying to save Skye's life," Adam asserted. Before Adam testified, Spencer asked the judge to declare him a hostile witness and she ruled in the prosecution's favor. Adam slipped in the information about the video, but Spencer protested and the judge instructed that the testimony be stricken from the record. Nick and Billy followed Adam out of the courtroom. "What is this about a video?" Billy inquired. "Did you really find proof that Sharon was innocent?" Nick wondered. Adam recounted his misadventures in Thailand and said he saw the video, but the memory chip was gone. Later, while Sharon met with Adam and her lawyer, Vance suggested that she plea-bargain and accept a twenty-year sentence. "It's either that, or life. You decide," Vance stated. Alone with Adam, Phyllis asked if the plea was her only hope. Adam answered no and revealed his intention to help Sharon escape.
Chloe was pleasantly surprised that Gloria approved of her. "It helps you didn't sleep with Kevin's brother!" Gloria smiled. Jana arrived and complained about Chloe trying to get her fired. Chloe suggested Jana leave town because nobody wanted her around. "England called, they want you back," Gloria agreed. While Jana continued to argue with Chloe, Gloria quietly lifted her house keys. When Jana left, Gloria and Chloe headed for Jana's apartment. Just as they slipped into the apartment, Jana was heard outside. "I'll take care of Jana," Gloria instructed. "You look for the goods." While Chloe searched through Jana's apartment, she watched Gloria try to stall Jana on the baby cam. When Jana demanded that Gloria leave, Gloria deliberately fell and pretended that she injured her leg. Jana gave her ice and noticed that Gloria applied it to the wrong leg. Chloe broke open a cabinet and found a pregnancy pillow. She slipped outside unnoticed with the pillow in a shopping bag. Jana returned to her apartment, followed by Gloria. Jana demanded that Gloria leave. Billy arrived and was puzzled to see both Chloe and Gloria outside his house.
At Crimson Lights, Daniel visited with Lily before her first therapy session. Daniel said he was anxious to hear back from her after the visit. "You're my after-therapy therapist," Lily noted. Jill and Colin arrived and Jill assured Lily that she was available to provide support at any time.
While going over business papers, Sofia flirted with Neil, who pulled back. "Sofia, it was a one time thing," Neil reminded. Malcolm arrived and announced that their wedding ceremony would be at the same church where Cane was killed. Sofia suggested that he find another church. Malcolm assured Neil he would discuss it with Lily. "The place has been a part of our family forever," Malcolm pointed out. "If Lily says she doesn't want to, then we'll find another time and place," he conceded. Their conversation was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Lily. Malcolm broke the news about the wedding and asked if it was okay. "I need some time to think about it," Lily answered. After Lily left, Sofia remarked, "Malcolm, we need to talk about this more. It just doesn't feel right."
During Lily's therapy session, the therapist asked why she was seeking help. Lily answered it was partly because she was encouraged to do it by her family, but added that she really wanted to talk. During the session, Lily insisted that she still felt Cane's presence. After the session, Lily phoned Neil and asked to be put on speaker. Lily gave her approval for the wedding. "It will be the place where my favorite aunt and uncle got married," Lily assured. After Lily ended the call, Sofia consented to Malcolm's request that they hold the ceremony as soon as possible. At Crimson Lights, Daniel asked if Lily was up for the wedding. Lily responded that the family wedding could change her memory of the church. When Lily heard Cane, she asked if Daniel also heard him. "No," Daniel answered. "But I believe you did."
At the Chancellor mansion, Colin and Jill recounted their first meeting. "There's a huge sadness in you," Jill commented. "I want to hear about how you lost your kids." Colin revealed that his son killed his daughter Samantha, and then later was also murdered.
Nick discovered that Phyllis was back in Genoa City. Soon after, Phyllis asked for Malcolm's help in recovering the video from one of several memory chips. Stories

Sharon was appalled by Adam's suggestion that he break her out of jail. He explained that she could come back after he finds the proof of her innocence. She pinned her hopes on one member of the jury believing she's not guilty. Adam tried to change her mind but Sharon said she couldn't be away from her kids.
Malcolm and Phyllis searched through the memory cards for Sharon's video. Billy summoned Phyllis to the office so she left the task for Malcolm to continue.
Neil urged Sofia to be 100 percent sure that she wants to marry Malcolm. Very unconvincingly, she claimed she is but he suggested that it's not too late for her to change her mind. She challenged him to admit that his feelings are about what happened between them but he insisted that he's simply concerned about Malcolm. She became peeved when he intimated that it was best that she walk away from the Winters family. Malcolm showed up and observed the tension. He assumed that his brother was still unhappy about the wedding locale but Neil said the nups were their business and left. Malcolm told Sofia that they never keep secrets from each other, which made her feel guilty.
At the G.C.A.C., Victor watched from afar as Diane and Nick shared an awkward encounter. After Nick left, Diane informed her husband that she had to meet a contractor at Gloworm and Victor said he would be there later. Diane seemed put off that Victor had her on a short leash. After Diane departed, Abby showed up and asked her dad if he wanted to have a drink. She was hurt when he said he had other business to tend to and left.
Jack was thrilled to see Phyllis, who explained that she may have found evidence to clear Sharon but didn't want to reveal any details.... Neil encountered Leslie at Crimson Lights and was pleased when she joined him. Michael happened by and hinted at conflict of interest because Neil was the star witness at the arbitration. Leslie advised Michael to worry about his own witness (Adam) for committing perjury.... Phyllis showed up at Nick's house to retrieve Summer and the exes ended up bonding over beers. When she complained of a sore neck, he gave her a massage but she became uneasy and left with Summer.
Ashley and Tucker arrived at Gloworm, where Diane was drinking at the bar. Ashley warned that Victor is selfish and suggested Diane find someone who is emotionally available. Ash and Tucker got a table and a rattled Abby soon arrived and went to the bar. Tucker said he would find out what's bugging her and lent his ear to Abby. She vented about not getting her money from Victor yet and Tucker reminded that the process could take months. Tucker offered 50 percent over market price for the shares Brad left Abby but she turned him down.
Victor showed up at Gloworm and Diane claimed her meeting was delayed. Victor said he would wait and she told him he didn't have to be so watchful because she was talking to Nick, which instantly raised Victor's ire.

At the coffeehouse, Jana had a meltdown in front of Kevin over Chloe and Gloria persecuting her. Jana happily received a comforting hug from her ex. Meanwhile, Chloe and Gloria surmised that Jana wanted to entrap Kevin with a fake pregnancy after finding the belly pad. They showed up at Jana's front door with Glo wearing the fake bump. Jana freaked at first and claimed it was part of a Halloween costume. She slammed the door on her tormentors, then made a call.
Michael and Lauren stormed in to Restless Style and fumed to Phyllis that his P.I. tracked Daisy to a motel in Canada, Phyllis was stunned to hear that when Michael and Daniel got there, the latter let her escape.
Daniel and Abby were surprised when Victoria dropped off Lucy for last-minute babysitting. Soon Daniel was playing with the kid and started bonding. After Abby left for a meeting, Phyllis called and demanded to see her son right away. Daniel knew what it was about and promised Lucy she would be safe with Victoria and Billy.
Adam was annoyed to find Victor at the jail's visiting room, waiting to see Sharon. Victor said that he reinstated Adam's trust so he'll soon be a very wealthy man. Adam scoffed at the news and said he was more concerned about getting Sharon freed.
Nick was thrilled when Noah came home from New York and he was obviously troubled about his mother. While his dad was upstairs, Noah left. Nick guessed his son went to see Sharon. Meanwhile, Noah showed up at Sharon's jail cell and blasted her for her mistakes because of her involvement with Adam. Sharon broke down in tears and Noah walked away.
At Gloworm, Chloe and Gloria showed the pregnancy pad to Kevin but he told them to stop harassing Jana. They were interrupted by the police, who arrested Chloe and Glo for breaking and entering. Kevin went to Jana and asked her to drop the charges but she refused. Meanwhile, Chloe and Gloria were booked and locked up.
Tucker dangled a huge check in front of Abby for her Newman shares. Again, she turned him down and left. Adam showed up later and offered his stock options to Tucker, who agreed and wired money to Adam's bank account.
Daniel showed up at Restless Style with Lucy and lied to Phyllis, Michael and Lauren that he let Daisy go because he thought she would lead him to her baby. After Michael and Lauren cleared out, Phyllis told her son that she knew he was lying and she would never stop looking for Daisy's baby.
In searching for Noah, Nick encountered his dad in the visitor's room. Victor hoped they could put their differences aside for the sake of Sharon and Noah. A distraught Sharon walked in and sobbed about her visit with Noah. She was scared about a prison sentence and Victor vowed that wouldn't happen. Adam showed up and offered solace. He then got a call from Vance that the jury had reached a verdict.

As Phyllis put the finishing touches on her article about Sharon's trial, she called Malcolm to see if he found the footage of Sharon and Skye on any of the memory cards. He hadn't, so she pushed him to keep searching and headed to the courthouse, where she joined Jack, Billy, Nick and Noah.
At Gloworm, someone called Katherine with troubling news. Tucker showed up and Kay confronted him about buying Adam's stock options in Newman Enterprises. Tucker explained that Adam came to him but Kay was still angry and vowed to stop him. Tucker seethed that she's an old woman past her prime. Once Tucker was gone, Kay made a phone call.
Before going to the courthouse to hear the jury's verdict, Adam again brought up busting Sharon out should she be found guilty. After giving her a few details, she was led to the courtroom. The jury returned and announced that they found Sharon guilty of murder in the first degree. Sharon collapsed in tears and the judge ordered her to be remanded into custody pending sentencing. Vance said his client is ill and needed time to collect herself. The judge allowed a guard to take Sharon to the courthouse bathroom before going back to her cell.
At the ranch, Victor was devastated by a live news report that Sharon was convicted. Michael informed his boss that Tucker wanted to talk and left. Nikki showed up and Victor told her not to judge him. She praised him for trying to clear Sharon with his testimony and had faith that he will be able to help their family. Victor softened as he lamented about his fragmented clan and the exes hugged.
Noah told Nick that he was going back to New York and promised to stay in touch. After Noah walked away, Diane approached Nick and told him that Victor's legal team was already working on Sharon's appeal. He snarked about his dad's brand of help and stormed off.
Tucker informed Michael that he purchased Adam's stock. Tucker expressed interest in buying more from Victor himself but Michael declared that will never happen.... Phyllis confessed to Billy that Malcolm's tech buddy may have found something about Sharon from all the memory cards Phyllis brought back from Thailand.
In the courthouse bathroom, Sharon found a sealed plastic bag stashed in the toilet tank. It turned out to be chlorophyll, which she used to knock out the guard. Sharon then escaped through the window.
