Monday
At Jimmy's bar, a somber J.T. told Mac that he won full custody of Reed but wasn't happy what it would do to Victoria, who never showed up at the hearing. An eavesdropping Billy expressed his concern for Victoria's whereabouts and J.T. angrily warned Abbott not to write another article on her. Meanwhile, Victoria was being booked for Adam's murder and made her one phone call to Victor. He immediately contacted Michael, then headed to the police station with Nikki in tow.
In their cage, Lauren and Jana agreed that their only hope for freedom was winning over Ryder. He showed up with food and Lauren tried to reason with him but Daisy appeared and ordered her brother to get away from the bars. Ryder dutifully retreated. Daisy wanted to chain up their prisoners in separate cages but he refused to help. "I'm sick of you telling me what to do," Ryder griped. Daisy warned what Mama Bear will do to him when she gets back. When Daisy was gone, Lauren and Jana praised Ryder for standing up for himself.
Nikki called Nick about his sister's arrest. At the police station, Victor and Nikki consoled their handcuffed daughter and she was upset to learn that J.T. had won full custody of Reed. Meanwhile, Chance and Owen deduced that because of the angle that the pen went into Adam's chest, Victoria couldn't have killed her brother but wondered if she had an accomplice. When Michael confronted them about Victoria's arrest, Owen insisted they had enough evidence to charge her.
Sarah revealed to a shocked Patty, "I'm not really Lauren," explaining that she was the nurse of the plastic surgeon who made over Patty into Sarah's likeness. When Patty was convinced, she asked why Sarah is now looking like Lauren and Sarah said it was for revenge because Lauren killed Sheila "in cold blood." Patty asked where Lauren is but Sarah wanted Emily's location divulged first. Before Patty could respond, Jack arrived and demanded to speak to his wife right away. Patty convinced Jack to leave so she could continue her session with Lauren. Sarah wanted Patty to advise Michael that he needs to give his wife plenty of love. Daisy called Sarah about Ryder and she hastily left.
At Crimson Lights, a cop told Jill that Victoria had been arrested. Jill paid the blabbermouth and said there would be more cash if he provided her with Victoria's mug shot, then typed up a juicy story on the arrest and posted it online. Billy saw the article and called his mother, who revealed she was going to the courthouse to tweet about Victoria's arraignment. Billy tried to get Jill to back down but she hung up and rushed to the courthouse.
Jack confided in Phyllis that Emily is pregnant, but the doctor she supposedly had an appointment with is a cardiologist. Jack wondered if his wife is lying about her pregnancy and admitted, "I'm not sure if I love her anymore."
At Victoria's arraignment, where her family was in attendance, a not-guilty plea was entered and Owen vigorously objected her bail being posted. Billy showed up and sat with Jill. When bail was denied, Billy stood up and announced that Victoria couldn't have killed Adam because "she was with me."
Tuesday
When Mac arrived at the Chandler estate with Reed, Chloe told her that Victoria had been arrested for Adam's murder. Mac assumed Chloe would use this as a scoop for Restless Style; a perturbed Ms. Mitchell retorted that she was more worried about how this would affect her loved ones. Mac apologized and once they relaxed, Chloe encouraged her to hook up with J.T.
The judge objected to Billy's outburst but Abbott insisted to the courtroom that he and Victoria were together when Adam was killed. Billy was stunned when Victoria said it wasn’t true; the judge denied her bail. Before she was sent back into custody, Victor asked his daughter if she had been with Billy but she just urged her dad to watch over her son. As Victoria was led away, Nikki implored J.T. to reconsider the custody of Reed, but he said he wanted his son shielded from "the Newman chaos." Outside the courtroom, Jill asked Billy if his claim about Victoria is true. When he didn't answer, Jill realized that her son had indeed slept with Mrs. Hellstrom. Jill wondered why Victoria would give up an air-tight alibi, a question Billy was confused about, too. Tired of his mom’s mudslinging, Bill fired Jill from Restless Style.
At Tucker's request, Kay joined her son for dinner at the G.C.A.C. He asked her to turn full control of Jabot to him and she refused. Taking out his laptop, Tucker showed videotape of Adam opening the sealed bids on Jabot, which meant Victor had been given inside information. Tucker demanded Jabot or else he would turn Victor in, Kay realized she was backed into a corner. Since Neil and Ashley were dining nearby, Kay informed them that she was turning Jabot back over to Tucker. Ash was upset about the decision and said she would never let her guard down around Tucker again, then stormed away.
J.T. visited his wife in the interrogation room, where he affirmed his belief in her innocence. He also knew in his heart that Victoria was with Billy and accused her of taking the murder rap for Victor. As a disillusioned J. T. walked out, Billy strolled in. "You get out of here before I do commit murder," Victoria seethed. Billy asked if she’d rather be charged with murder than let anyone know they were together and she said yes. She insisted that their tryst meant nothing and he stalked out.
Ashley told Neil she was grateful to have him in her life... Jill was infuriated to hear that Kay gave Jabot back to Tucker....
Owen and Chance hoped that Victoria would soon confess who she was covering for.... While Billy drowned his sorrows at Jimmy’s, Heather, on suspension from her job, showed up and ordered a drink. She left her card key behind and told him to meet her "in 20." Instead, he went to the G.C.A.C. and asked the doorman to return the card key to Heather.... While the Newmans visited Victoria, Michael showed them a photo of the murder weapon. Nick recognized the pen but Victoria insisted it was hers. Nick revealed that his sister gave him the pen as a gift. "This murder weapon is mine," Nick declared.
Wednesday
Neil and Ashley discussed Victoria's case and Tucker's business over dinner, then held hands. Neil walked over to speak with Katherine about her plans to sell Jabot. He offered his services to help Katherine keep it, but she insisted a decision had already been made. Kay then stated the matter was between her and Tucker only. Meanwhile, Ashley sauntered over to Tucker and asked how he could treat Jabot like it was a toy. Tucker said he had big plans for Jabot, plans that would make her late father very happy. Ash huffed that she would be the judge of that.
At the Abbott house, Patty called Sarah and asked for her help in faking a doctor's appointment this Friday. Jack came home, and Patty picked up a child rearing book. Jack stated he was so excited about the baby that they should go see a doctor tonight. Patty tried to brush it off but Jack called her bluff and insisted they go see Phyllis's doctor. Patty was upset that Jack blabbed about her pregnancy and said she wanted to see her own doctor. Jack replied that if she didn't like the doctor, she'd never have to see him again. Just then, Jack got a call from Ash, asking to see him right away. Jack reluctantly rushed off. Patty hurriedly grabbed her coat and purse and rushed out.
At the tack house, Phyllis called Nick to see what was going on with Victoria. Just then, Daniel arrived with flowers and offered to pick up Summer from karate class. After he left, Phyllis was nervous and thought she saw something outside the window ... unaware that Patty was lurking outside. Suddenly, the doorknob turned and the door opened. It was Daniel. There was a knock on the door and it was Patty, who asked if they could talk. Daniel left and Patty ordered Phyllis to butt out of her marriage. "You crossed the line with my husband," she insisted. Patty ranted and started coming unglued but Phyllis kept her cool. Patty acted as if she was in pain, and ran out in tears.
At the police station, Nick was furious that Victoria didn't tell Chance that the pen was his, insisting he doesn't need protection. Against Michael's wishes, Nick barged into the squad room and confessed that the pen was his. The cops questioned Nick, who explained the blood they found on his jacket was from his fight with Adam. The cops pointed out it was the same fight where Victor got blood on his watch. They accused Victor of trying to cover for his son. Nick explained that Phyllis was the one who threw out his jacket; he knew nothing about it.
Jack showed up at the club and Ashley and Neil spilled about Kay selling Jabot back to Tucker. Jack went to speak with Kay. While she was sympathetic, she insisted that the Abbotts respect her wishes. Just then, Murphy showed up, and Kay took him aside to talk. Neil joined Jack and Ash to discuss the matter. Jack called Victor and left a message on his cell phone. On their way out, Neil asked Ashley if she wanted to stop at Indigo for a drink. Ashley suggested something more private. She took his tie and smiled, saying that she was ready, and led Neil out of the club.
Murphy saw Tucker and asked when he was going to stop punishing Kay for her long-ago actions. Kay told Tucker that while she had loving family and friends, he had no one, and she felt sorry for him. "Power and vengeance are not the answer," Kay warned. Murphy lost his temper and asked Tucker to step outside so they could handle the situation like men. Kay calmed Murphy down and they left. Jack asked Tucker what he was really up to when Phyllis called. They weren't finished yet, Jack warned Tucker.
Back at the Chancellor mansion, Kay told Murphy she was selling Jabot to Tucker because of the tape Tucker had incriminating Victor. Kay added that she was trying to shield Victor from Jack's wrath and igniting another Newman/Abbott feud. She didn't feel anger toward Tucker, sighed Kay, just pity. Murphy offered to fix Kay dinner.
At the club, a sexy brunette approached Tucker.... Back home, Neil and Ashley kissed passionately, as she undressed him.... At the police department, the cops produced a security guard who heard Nick threaten to kill Adam. The cops dropped the charges against Victoria and arrested Nick for Adam's murder.... Daniel left for the night. Phyllis called the guard station, and the guard reported that Emily never came through the gates. A nervous Phyllis called Victor, who informed her of Nick's arrest.... Jack returned to find Patty in tears. "I had a miscarriage, Jack," she wept. "I lost the baby." "No, you didn't," Jack replied. "You were never pregnant."
Thursday
Paul brought Heather to visit Patty, who insisted she is Emily. Paul left his daughter alone to visit and Em said she could prove that she's not Patty if she could just see Jack. When Heather said she couldn't help, Emily handed over a cup she drank from and begged Heather to check the DNA but not mention it to Paul. He returned and told Heather it was time to leave; she seemed to be affected by Emily's earnest plea.
Patty insisted to Jack that she had been pregnant but miscarried after her visit with Phyllis. Jack found her tearful claim that she had a condition that made carrying a baby risky too convenient. When Patty got worked up warning Jack that Phyllis was poisoning his mind, he stormed out. Patty visited Emily and ranted about Jack and Phyllis. Em was afraid Patty would harm Jack
Michael showed up at Gloria's place, where Glo was babysitting Fen and fretting about Lauren's strange behavior. Michael expressed serious doubts over Emily's diagnosis that his wife just needs love. Meanwhile, Sarah searched through Lauren's things and was surprised to discover just how wealthy Mrs. Baldwin is. "It's all mine," Sarah gloated, then ordered a new sports car over the phone. Michael showed up with Fen and was surprised when Sarah announced that she bought him a new car. Michael was upset by the gift and lamented that the "woman I love" is drifting away. Fen was scared when Sarah killed a spider because he and Mommy usually never harm livingcreatures. Michael put his traumatized son to bed and Sarah said she needed a break, then left.
Back in the cage, Jana was suffering excruciating headaches. Lauren tried to soothe her by talking about being back at home with their families. Daisy and Ryder showed up and he gave medication to Jana. Sarah arrived and ordered Lauren to call Michael and assure him that everything was okay with her. Sarah held Jana in a stranglehold to assure Lauren wouldn't tip off Michael to the truth. Lauren phoned Michael and recalled the night he proposed to her. He was moved to tears by her declaration of love. After hanging up, the trio of captors left, but not before Lauren’s secret promise to Ryder that she would protect him if he told Michael where she is. Jana was slammed with another headache.
Kevin, Gloria and Jeffrey gathered around the Ouija board, where Glo asked the spirits to guide them to Jana's location. They were surprised when the word "zoo" was spelled out for them but Gloria accused her husband of manipulating the board.
At Crimson Lights, Jack asked Paul to find Emily's brother Jamie, who is somewhere in Minnesota. Paul was reluctant to help the man who ruined his sister’s life, but finally gave in and made a call to check on DMV records. Paul gave Jack a contact on Jamie.... Sarah was surprised when she came home and Michael said he and Fen were going to move in with Gloria "for a while."... Heather told Jack that Patty wanted to see him but he said that wouldn't be a good idea.... Paul returned to see Patty and Emily fretted out loud that Jack is going to die... Jack returned home and Patty silently panicked when he shared that her brother Jamie was coming for a visit.
Friday
Victor and Phyllis waited anxiously for Nick's arrest to be processed. A breathless Sharon arrived, anxious for news about her ex. Chance warned that they all still could be charged with obstruction of justice. "We made things worse for Nicholas by protecting him," Vic admitted to the ladies.... While huddling with Michael in the interrogation room, Nick insisted he had nothing to do with Adam's death. After Michael left, Phyllis visited her husband and assured she would do everything she could to bring him home. Sharon came in and Nick ordered them both not to get involved in his plight. Nick was led away for his arraignment and Phyllis advised Sharon to go home.... Victor and Michael tried to rattle the D.A. about the strength of his case against Nick but Owen didn't back down. After Nick's arraignment, Phyllis blamed his woes on Sharon being so needy; Sharon countered by calling the red head "insane."
Jack and Emily remained tense around each other. As he expressed doubts about her so-called pregnancy, she feigned hurt over his
distrust."Things can't go on the way they are now," Jack stressed and hoped that Jamie's visit would help her. Claiming she had an appointment she couldn't miss, Patty bolted. An obviously down-on-his-luck Jamie later showed up and after asking for a beer, admitted to Jack that he and his sister weren't very close. Jack asked what Emily was like growing up.
Jana feared what would happen to her after she ran out of pain pills. Lauren begged Sarah for help but Sarah gleefully taunted Lauren about taking her life and is spending her money. After Sarah left, Lauren and Jana searched their cage for a possible way out. Lauren reached through the bars to a small pile of trash and obtained a shard of glass, a battery and some loose paper. Jana was able to start a fire and they became hopeful as the smoke rose.
Patty visited Emily wanting info on Jamie. Em explained that her brother was an antique dealer with 18th century furniture and that he was very refined. After Patty left, Emily hoped Jamie would figure out that something was wrong with his sister.
Sarah was upset when Patty was late for their appointment. Patty finally arrived, complaining about how Jack didn't believe her miscarriage story. Patty blamed Phyllis for Jack's indifference to his marriage. Sarah pointed out she was having similar problems with Michael, then suggested Patty kill Michael and Sarah kill Phyllis.
As Nick was being processed for his transfer to county jail, Victor
announced that he killed Adam.
