At the G.C.A.C., Neil and Ashley arrived for a business breakfast, while Daniel and Abby encountered Billy and Victoria with Lucy. While Abby cooed at her niece, Billy quietly told Daniel that he wanted to discuss Daisy's baby. Before their conversation could go any further, everyone's attention was diverted to Jack when he dropped his glass and it shattered. He was in shock as he relayed that the police called him with the news that Sharon died in a car accident. Jack lamented that he deserted Sharon.
Nikki interrupted Victor and Diane when she rushed in with Faith in her arms, sobbing about Sharon's death. Victor decided to take the private jet to New York to retrieve Noah. Victoria, Billy, Abby, Daniel, Ashley and Neil arrived. Before departing, Victor asked everyone to put aside their personal differences in order to support Nick and his family, while Diane felt left out.
The morning after their night of passion, Phyllis and Nick awoke in St. Barts and went at it again. After, she insisted they get back to reality and meet the next ferry. Jack called Phyllis and informed her that Sharon had been killed. Phyllis hung up and she shared the tragic news with Nick. He reeled from shock and called Nikki, who urged her son to come home as soon as possible. Nick blamed himself for not being there for Sharon and Phyllis comforted her ex.
At the New Mexico morgue, Adam recalled Sharon's last phone call in which she didn't think she could go on. He was ushered in to identify Sharon's body and he recoiled at the sight of the badly-burned corpse on the slab. He confirmed that it was Sharon since he recognized her engagement ring.
Jack stormed into the Newman manse and demanded to see Victor. Nikki told him that Victor left to get Noah and Jack groused that she and Diane are crazy for supporting Newman. Jack then read aloud a news report on his cell phone that Sharon's body had been positively identified.
Out in the desert, a weary Sharon wandered alone. She came across a barn and after finding it empty, hunkered down on a pile of hay to sleep. Later, she was awakened by a handsome stranger, who gently promised he wouldn't hurt her.
Adam returned to Genoa City and stopped at Doris's apartment to tell her that her daughter is dead. She was devastated and blamed Adam. He showed the letters Sharon left behind for him, Noah and Faith. After reading the letter to Adam, Doris deduced that Sharon killed herself but Adam refused to believe it. When Adam said they could discuss funeral arrangements later, Doris fumed that he wouldn't be involved.
Victor landed in New York and confirmed for Noah that his mother is dead. Noah went numb and wanted to report to a recording session but Victor insisted his grandson come home. On the flight back, Billy regretted his last words with Sharon.... Billy apologized to everyone at the ranch for not being objected when he was reporting about Sharon's trial. Jack insisted Victor and Adam are responsible for Sharon's fate.

Neil joined Leslie at the G.C.A.C. Adam walked in and Leslie offered her condolences. Spencer arrived with a cop and arrested Adam for aiding and abetting Sharon's escape. After Adam was hauled away and Leslie went with her client, Lily called Neil and asked if he could babysit the twins.
Malcolm and Sofia arrived in St. Barts for their honeymoon. He found her home pregnancy test and asked what's going on. She confessed that she may be preggers so he anxiously urged her to take the test. She obliged and the results were positive. Mal was thrilled and she thought about her romp with Neil. Sofia asked to keep the news quiet for now.
Nick returned home, where he found Noah. Nick explained how he was trying to find Sharon but Adam led him and Phyllis on a wild goose chase. Father and son grieved together, then visited Doris. She griped about Adam's visit and Noah received a call from the coroner about his mother's remains.
Sharon grabbed a pitchfork and warned the very good-looking stranger to stay away from her. He seemed amused and pointed out that Sharon was trespassing in his barn. He offered her something to eat and his phone so they could figure out where she needed to be. Sharon admitted that she doesn't have anywhere to go and put down the pitchfork. They were interrupted by the bleating of a ewe about to give birth. Sharon was amazed when a lamb was born and the stranger introduced himself as a veterinarian named Sam. He offered lodging for Sharon to stay and she said it would be just for the night.
At the police station, Adam explained that Sharon called him from New Mexico but by the time he got there, she was gone. He lied that he had hoped to convince Sharon to come home. Spencer didn't believe the story but knew he couldn't hold Adam. A cop appeared and announced that the medical examiner now had Sharon's remains and Adam wanted to claim them. Spencer said that only the next of kin could do that.
Lily visited Cane's grave, which now had a new headstone. She was surprised to find a few trinkets that had undeniable significance to their relationship (like a keychain with the Eiffel Tower). A woman, named Judy, approached Lily and said she could feel the presence of Lily's husband. They went for coffee and Judy affirmed that Cane's love is very strong. Lily said she felt that her late husband was angry but Judy got the sense that Cane was trying to protect her. Meanwhile, a gloved hand placed a photo on Cane's headstone.
Neil invited Leslie over to Lily's house and he made them lunch. While Neil was in the kitchen, Malcolm called and announced Sofia's pregnancy. Neil was stunned and Malcolm put Sofia on the line (yeah, it was awkward).
Nick and Noah arrived at the police station and weren't happy to run into Adam. He asked if he could be involved with the funeral arrangements and Nick and Noah both said no. Noah handed Sharon's engagement ring back to Adam.

Billy apprised Victoria of Chloe and Gloria's arrest for bothering Jana. When Victoria left the room, Billy urged Jana to drop the search for Daisy's baby and she agreed.
At the coffeehouse, Kevin told Daniel about Jana's suspicions that Daisy's baby could still be in Genoa City. Daniel hid his concern as Kev vowed not to stop looking for his niece. Abby showed up and was a little put off when Daniel wanted to check on Lily.
At the police station, Heather informed Chloe and Gloria that they will soon be out on bail. Kevin arrived as they were about to head into court but Billy showed up and announced he wasn't pressing charges. The ladies were freed and Billy warned them to stay away from Chloe. Billy called Victoria with his decision, which wasn't well received by Jana. Kevin told Chloe that Jana claimed to be searching for Daisy's baby. Kev called Jana and asked to see her.
Lily confessed to her shrink that she actually sees her dead husband. She wanted to figure out what Cane is trying to tell her and even talked to a psychic. However, Lily was still confused what it all means and the doc suggested there were underlying issues that she still has to deal with. Lily got upset and dismissed her. Daniel showed up and shared that Kevin is looking for Daisy's baby.
Gloria returned to Gloworm, where Jeffrey had just come back from his business trip to Vegas. Angelo took a nearby table and Jeff smugly said he won enough money to pay off his gambling debts. The mobster later flirted with Gloria.
Jana walked in on Kevin and Chloe arguing. Jana was delighted when Chloe walked out on Kevin, who wanted to team up to look for Daisy's baby. She showed him the bank account number she found in Primrose's records.
Abby confessed to Victoria that she's jealous of the time Daniel is spending with Lily. Abby then headed to Gloworm to film a scene for THE NAKED HEIRESS. Daniel joined her but his performance during the staged scene was lackluster. After he asked for the camera to be turned off, Daniel told Abby that he didn't want to do this and left. Abby was devastated but didn't know the camera was still rolling and captured the conversation.
Billy met with Primrose, who shared that someone pretending to be pregnant nosed through her files. Billy freaked but Prim assured that her files were in code but when he checked the records, he wasn't happy to see that his bank account number was listed. He later checked with his bank and found out that someone had made an inquiry on his account in person. He was shown a videotape and was upset to see Jana in a blonde wig.
Lily returned to Cane's grave and found a photo of a woman she didn't recognize. She begged out loud for Cane to tell her what he wants. "I'm here, baby," she heard and when she spun around, Cane was standing before her.

Victor showed up at Nick's home and offered to go with his son and Noah to the church to assist with Sharon's funeral arrangements. Meanwhile, in the empty chapel, Adam and prayed for his mother to watch over Sharon. A minister showed up and asked to help. Adam lamented that God took away his fiancée and the padre invited Adam to the funeral. Victor, Nick and Noah arrived and Victor ordered Adam to leave. The minister realized Adam’s presence was causing too much drama and asked him to go.
Sam asked Sharon to name the new lamb and she decided on Fanny. He asked what kind of wine he should choose for a dinner he was making for a friend. Sharon gave a suggestion and after Sam left, she wondered out loud if her loved ones would be better off without her since they think she's dead. Sam returned and announced his dinner had been canceled.
At Crimson Lights, Kevin asked Jana how she found Primrose. She explained a woman left a note on her car, which led to Prim. Kevin wanted to see the note. Daniel became concerned when he saw Kevin and Jana with their heads together at a computer and approached them. After Jana left to find the note, Kevin explained to Daniel that Jana found bank account numbers (which were on the computer screen) that may belong to the person who bought Daisy's niece. When Kevin wasn't looking, Daniel placed a device on the computer and the screen went blank. Daniel then slipped out.
A shocked Lily reached out and touched Cane's chest. "You're real," she gasped and he promised he will always be watching over her. Lily seemed to understand that her hubby is still dead but didn't know why they could converse. She feared that sharing this with anyone else would make her look crazy so Cane advised her to keep it a secret. Lily asked who was in the photo she found on his grave and Cane said it was his sister Samantha. She wanted to know how it got placed on his tombstone but Jill arrived with Colin and Cane disappeared. Jill invited Lily's twins to an Easter egg hunt and she said she would think about it.
Victoria excitedly told Billy that Lucy had rolled over on her own. Jana showed up and when Victoria was out of the room, Billy announced he was giving the nanny a raise. Jana returned to Crimson Lights and gave Kevin the note. It didn't give him any viable clues and he was upset when found his computer files had been erased.
Daniel showed up at Lily's house and she didn't share about seeing Cane.... Sam offered his cell phone to Sharon to call somebody, but she insisted she had no one... Noah asked Victor to keep Adam away from Sharon's funeral.... As Jill wept at Cane's grave with Colin by her side, Cane watched them from afar.

As Victoria gathered up baby clothes, she and Billy lamented the loss of Sharon. Vicki felt bad for Doris, noting the worst thing in the world was to lose a child.... The Abbotts gathered to go to Sharon's funeral. Jack noted that Phyllis had been ignoring him since she got back from the Caribbean.
At Crimson Lights, Kevin and Jana were frustrated that their Internet search came to an abrupt end. When Daniel and Abby stopped in, Kevin accused Daniel of sabotaging his investigation. Kevin believed Daniel didn't want the baby found. He and Daniel came to blows, and Abby dragged Daniel out. Agnes watched the exchange and ran out.
Sam found Sharon cleaning up the barn. He appreciated her help and said she could stick around. Sharon said maybe for a few days, but she insisted on earning her keep. Sam offered to get Sharon some necessities, and she went back to work. Sam returned and offered Sharon a job working with horses. Sharon fantasized about how her loved ones would take the news that she was still alive, but she was afraid to return home because she'd go to prison. Later, when their work with the horses was done, Sam told Sharon that the horses could tell she had a good soul.
At the tack house, Nikki comforted Noah and stated that if Adam really loved Sharon, he'd stay away from her service. Noah found a basket outside the door. Nick brought it in, then he and Noah headed out. Nikki opened the basket, then spied a bottle of wine. She poured a glass and drank it.
Adam confronted Victor on changing the locks at Sharon's. "You don't like it, sue me," Victor huffed. Victor revealed the D.A. was there, and he had some questions for Adam. Adam smelled an ambush. They were all convinced that Adam was behind Sharon's escape. "Arrest me, or go to hell," Adam spat.
At the church, Doris was touched by all the people who cared for Sharon. Just then, a beautiful floral arrangement arrived — from Adam. Nick steamed. Victor arrived and comforted Doris, while Jack gave Noah a supportive hug. Phyllis tried to comfort Nick but he was inconsolable. Jack noticed their closeness. Nikki arrived, sprayed some breath freshener and hugged Doris. Billy, Victoria, Daniel and Abby all arrived. Daniel asked to talk to Billy but the Reverend announced the service was starting. Adam arrived and was met with the D.A. and a restraining order. Adam was forcibly removed by the police, and the service began. Outside, Adam found his floral arrangement and crumpled up card and fumed. Inside, Nick got up to speak. During his moving speech, Adam sneaked back into the church via the bell tower. When the service ended, Adam walked in and announced, "I'm not leaving until I get my say."
Agnes showed up at Billy and Victoria's, where Jana asked the woman to call her if she could think of anything. Agnes told Jana that if her husband found out what she was involved in, he'd kill her. Jana promised to be discreet. Agnes said she hoped Jana found the baby. On her way out, Agnes saw a box of baby clothes and recognized one of the outfits. Jana was stunned.
