YOUNG AND RESTLESS

Monday

Amber, Kevin, Daniel and Jana wore all black and planned to break into the
pawn shop, but they were deterred by a dog. The others wanted to call it quits,
but Amber was determined to get the ring and help Katherine prove her
identity. The others reluctantly agreed. Amber fed the dog a particular
snack, then went to break the window. When the pawn shop owner caught them,
Daniel launched into a British accent and pretended along with Jana, that
they were lost tourists. Meanwhile, Amber and Kevin searched the shop for
anything that would give a record of the ring. Kevin found a receipt for it
on the computer.

Phyllis was surprised when Nick greeted her at the bar. Nick explained that
he'd got a phone call where he heard her trying to get Brad and Sharon together.
Phyllis realized that Brad set her up. She demanded that Brad go, but Brad
insisted on telling Nick how Phyllis wanted to send him up to the Abbott
cabin to be with Sharon. Phyllis angrily showed Nick the text Sharon had
sent him, saying she was lonely. Phyllis didn't believe that Sharon
respected their marriage. Meanwhile, Brad suggested Nick "cut the conniving
bitch loose." Nick punched Brad in the face. Later, Phyllis explained to
Nick that she took the fax when she saw it and thought that Sharon was
trying to lure him up to the cabin. Nick disagreed that Sharon had sent him
an "invitation." Phyllis further noted that he'd signed his note to Sharon,
"Love, Nick." Nick explained that Sharon's the mother of his son and just
ended her marriage. Phyllis argued that she doesn't write "love" on things
she sends to Danny. Nick got fed up with their argument and told her that
he's packing up and leaving. Phyllis was devastated.... Nick went to
Restless Style to sleep.

Sharon was surprised when Jack arrived at the Abbott cabin to fix the power.
He fixed the generator, then told her that the divorce papers came. Sharon
was actually cordial toward him. Both were sad that they weren't able to
make their marriage work. "I'll always care about you, Jack," Sharon said.
They embraced and he left. Later, Sharon sat alone in the cabin and cried,
while Brad looked up the cabin's location.

Jill and Jeffrey met up at Crimson Lights and argued over who was going to
get Gloria's Jabot stocks. Both believed that they'd get her to sell to
them. Meanwhile, Gloria was surprised when Victor expressed interest in
buying the stocks. Victor told her that he was impressed by the way she was
handling jail. He also understood that it was important to her to keep up
the value of what was once John's company. She was shocked when she saw how
much he was willing to pay for her stock. "What's the catch?" she wondered.
Victor explained that her money would be sent to an off-shore account where
no one else would have access to it. He suggested she sleep on it before she
gives him an answer. After, Jill and Jeff went to the jail, arguing with
each other the entire time. Gloria was overwhelmed as they both appealed to
her. She refused to sell them or Jack her stock and screamed at them to
leave. After, she sat and hugged Victor's check to her chest. "What am I
gonna do?" she wondered aloud.

Victor showed Billy around Newman Enterprises. "What am I doing here?" Billy
wondered. Victor explained that he's heard good things about Billy which
have piqued his interest. Billy concluded that he wanted Billy to work
against Jack and Billy refused to do so. Victor insisted that what he wanted had
nothing to do with Billy's brother. He explained that Ashley had good things
to say about Billy and therefore, he wanted Billy to work with him. Billy
said he'd keep the offer in mind. Later, Glo called Victor and told him that
the Jabot stock is his. He accepted the sale, provided she keep his name out
of it. She agreed to the terms. Gloria gleefully informed Jeff that she sold
the stock to another buyer. "Congratulations on the worst decision of your
life — and that's saying something," Jeff sneered.... Jack returned home
and told Billy that the Abbotts need to stick together.... Victor informed
Jill that he purchased Gloria's shares. He then told Jill that he wants her
to resume control of Jabot — and wants Billy to be appointed CEO. Jill was
afraid that Cane and Billy would kill each other. "You make it work, Jill,"
stated Victor. Jill accepted his terms.

Tuesday

At Restless Style, Phyllis asked Nick if his night at the office gave him
some perspective on their argument. Phyllis noted that he was lucky Summer
slept through the night, which got Nick angry. "Don't make me out to be the
bad guy," he told her. Phyllis replied that he doesn't take responsibility
for his actions; he claimed she was paranoid about Sharon.

At Crimson Lights, Lily told Billy that she's looking for a part-time job —
but at a place where no one from her family works. Billy made some calls and
got her an interview for waitressing job at Jimmy's bar.

Esther stopped by Cane and Chloe's and gave Chloe a stuffed animal for the
baby. Esther then gushed about her new beau, Roger. A nervous Chloe asked
Cane to go with Esther on her date. Cane didn't think it was a good idea,
but Chloe feared that things were moving too fast between her mom and Roger.
Cane reluctantly asked Esther if he could join them. Meanwhile, Roger
assured Clint that he had "everything covered" in their scheme against the
Chancellors.... Amber was thrilled that she and Kevin found out who the pawn
broker had sold Kay's ring to. Her good mood was ruined, though, when she
realized that she left her cell phone in the pawn shop when they broke in.
Kevin was furious, but told her that she couldn't go back there because it
would look suspicious. Amber begged him to get it for her.

At Murphy's trailer, a nervous Katherine waited for her medical test
results, as well as news from Michael. Michael soon called Kay and informed
her that the judge denied their request for a DNA test. Murphy felt badly
for her. Turns out the pawn shop was closed so Kevin and Amber couldn't get
her phone. Later, they visited Kay at Murphy's place and told them that they
now know who the pawnbroker sold the ring to. Kay was shocked that they
broke into the shop. Kevin then confessed that the bail money he'd given to
Kay was actually her cash in the first place. Kay thanked him for being
honest and Amber apologized for accusing him of killing Katherine. Kevin and
Amber had a little tiff about her accusations, which made Kay yell at them
to stop. They noted that her trying to keep them in line was just like
Katherine — and agreed that they'd all work together. After, Detective
Wallace noted that Kevin's car had been reported to be by the pawn shop —
and he also had Amber's phone. Wallace warned them that he's collecting
evidence against them regarding the break-in.

Billy arrived at Restless Style and asked Chloe for a few extra issues on
the "Men We Love" issue so he could give it to charity. Chloe snapped at
him. Billy sensed that something was wrong. Chloe admitted that Esther's new
boyfriend was making her "twitchy." Meanwhile, Cane joined Esther and Roger
at Jimmy's bar. Roger felt badly that he'd made such a bad impression on
Jill, but Esther put the blame squarely on Jill. Roger recalled that Jill
became upset when she spied him admiring a vase and fired him. Cane offered
to put in a call for Roger for another job. Roger turned it down. "I have
everything I want right here," he explained, making Esther blush. Later, he
and Esther declared their love for each other.... Chloe recalled sharing a
romantic moment with Billy.... Lily went for an interview at Jimmy's and ran
into Cane. Lily panicked when she learned the position was for a bartending
position. Cane offered to help her out when Jimmy asked to test Lily's
mixing abilities. Lily lost the job when Jimmy noted that it was really Cane
who made the drinks.

At the magazine, Phyllis was surprised when Chloe noted that Phyllis and
Nick have the "perfect marriage." Meanwhile, Nick praised Phyllis to Billy
for coming up with the "Men We Love" issues. Later, Nick and Phyllis agreed
to work on their marriage.

Billy, Lily and Cane were shocked when Roger proposed to Esther at Jimmy's —
and Esther accepted! They feared that the couple was moving too fast, but
Esther wanted to follow her heart. Chloe was upset when Cane called to tell
her about Roger and Esther's engagement.

Wednesday

Victor and Victoria discussed what could be used to remove Brad from the
Newman board. Victor implored his daughter to get J.T. to find something on
Carlton quickly. Victoria then revealed that Brad was the one who'd hacked
into their computers about a year ago — but they'd made a deal with Brad not
to press charges. "You promised him, I didn't," Victor reasoned.

Eden and Noah made plans to go to an ice skating party by the lake. Eden
looked forward to her first time ice skating.

At Crimson Lights, Brad taunted Phyllis about scheming to keep Nick away
from Sharon. She replied by mocking him for not being able to "land" Sharon.
"The only problem I have, is that you're still breathing," she told him.
After, Brad got a call from Victor to come to Newman. Brad soon arrived and
Victor told him he was off the board ‹ or else. Brad replied that he wasn't
scared of Victor. "Victor can't replace me as a father or a board member,"
Brad stated. Victor refused to back down and hinted at using Abby as
ammunition against Brad. After, Brad was furious with Victoria for backing
down on their agreement. She explained there was nothing she could do. Brad
told her that she's getting to be more like her father.

Kevin and Amber asked Michael to help them get the ring back. Michael
reluctantly agreed to take a look at the information they brought him. Soon,
Eden and Noah came by and asked if they could attend a "bowl-a-thon" for a
particular school team. She assured him that many teachers would be present.
Michael agreed to let her go. They then asked for Phyllis's permission. She
called Michael first to make sure he agreed. Phyllis then drove them to the
bowling alley and Noah begged Phyllis to drop them off out front, but not
come in with them. She agreed, noting that she was a teenager once, too.

Michael told Katherine, Murphy, Amber and Kevin that he'd call for the ring
and ask if his wealthy client could see it. He planned for Kay to be the
"client," but she didn't think she'd be believable as a wealthy person at
this point in time. This was Amber's cue to give Kay a makeover. Amber noted
that this reminded her of being at one of the Forrester fashion shows. Kay
was surprised to see herself looking so much like, well, herself. Kay said
that being so dressed up felt natural to her, but was frustrated that she
couldn't remember very much about her life.... Amber and Kevin made up and
declared themselves friends again.... Michael met up with the gem dealer and
pretended his "client" wanted Kay's ring. Katherine then joined them and
tried the ring on. She and Michael told the dealer that if he helped them
prove Kay's identity, Kay would make it worth it for him. Amber was thrilled
when Kay returned with the ring, but Michael reminded them that they'd have
to get the pawn shop owner to testify that he bought the ring from Kay.

At the GCAC, Ashley handed over her credit card to Abby so Abby could shop
at Fenmore's. Nikki overheard and joked about Abby getting a wedding dress.
Ashley explained that Abby was buying a dress for a family portrait with
them and Victor. Nikki was obviously hurt; she warned Ashley that she and
Victor weren't a family, and that Victor wasn't yet over Sabrina. Ashley
didn't agree. After, Abby and Ashley visited Victor at work, where Ash ran
into Brad. He was upset to hear that they were posing for the portrait and
reminded her that he's Abby's father. Ashley noted that Victor is her
father, too. Brad feared that Victor was a bad role model for Abby. Ashley
pleaded with him to find a way to work with Victor for Abby's sake.

Nikki got a call from her sister Casey and was given bad news. Later, Brad
ran into Nikki at the GCAC and a tearful Nikki confided that Casey has
cancer. Brad offered his sympathies. Nikki encouraged him to hold onto the
things that are important to him. Meanwhile, Ashley told Victor about what
Nikki had said to her, how she and Abby were just a distraction from his
pain. Victor insisted that that wasn't the case.... Traci and Colleen joined
Brad at the GCAC. He and Traci reminisced about their shared past; we were
then treated to a flashback of a younger Traci and Brad. Back in the
present, they joked about whether or not they've changed a lot since then.
Traci then asked about his love life and he said that he didn't think he had
a chance with the woman he was interested in, meaning Sharon. Traci urged
him to fight for love. Brad replied that he sometimes thought Traci is the
one who got away; a touched Traci wished him all the happiness he
deserves.... Nikki told Victor that she's leaving town. He arrived at the
GCAC and reamed her out for sticking her nose in his and Ashley's business.

Sharon sat alone in the Abbott cabin. She was surprised when she heard a
knock on the door: it was Brad. "Hi, Sharon," he said quietly.

Thursday

Noah and Eden made their way to the lake for the ice skating party. Noah
couldn't believe that Phyllis and Michael bought their story about going to
a bowlathon for school. When no one else arrived, they concluded that there
wasn't actually a party as they'd been told. Noah suggested they stay out
there and skate, anyway. Eden then broke out a bottle of whiskey. They
shared a drink and talked; Eden admitted that she didn't know Michael that
well, but doubted that River was going to come back for her. She wasn't sure
if the Baldwins wanted her around. Later, Noah confided in her about Sharon
and Jack's impending divorce, and his suspicions that Nick and Sharon were
having an affair.

Michael took a long sip of scotch and told Lauren that he was torn over
whether to make his guardianship of Eden permanent. Lauren believed that
Eden needed a strong family, and that they could provide that for her.
Michael wasn't sure if Eden wanted to stay with them.

At Restless Style, Phyllis coldly greeted Nick, who'd just returned from a
quick business trip to Chicago. Phyllis wondered if he saw "anyone else"
while he was gone; Nick snapped that he was by himself and didn't see
Sharon. After, Nick felt badly and asked if they could start over. Phyllis
agreed and they kissed. However, things were still tense between them.
Later, Nick was furious when he learned that Eden and Noah had lied to
Phyllis — and she'd bought their story.

At the GCAC, Victor told Nikki to butt out of his and Ashley's business.
However, Nikki didn't want to argue with him and revealed that her sister
Casey had cancer. A sympathetic Victor offered to fly in specialists, if
needed. Nikki was grateful for his support. After, Nikki shared the bad news
about Casey with Victoria. Nikki asked Victoria how it was working with
Victor; Victoria shared how Victor is doing everything to get Brad off of
the Newman board. Nikki didn't understand why Brad didn't just resign. Nikki
then filled in Nick and Paul on Casey's condition. Before Nikki went to
leave town to be with Casey, she and Paul hit the sheets.

Ashley visited Victor at work and gave him a certain snack. She then
informed him that Daniel was going to take their family portrait. Before she
left, Victor informed her that he wanted Brad out of Newman because he'd
stolen company secrets. Ashley feared that the fallout would affect Abby and
pleaded with him to reconsider taking Carlton to court. She said she'd talk
to Brad about resigning; Victor agreed to let her try before he took action.

At the lake, Noah and Eden kissed. Nick called Michael and asked why Michael
hadn't checked with the school about the bowlathon. The adults worried about
the kids being out somewhere while a storm was coming, and began to argue
over who should've done what to prevent this. They then went out to search
for them. Meanwhile, the teens decided to go skating.

Sharon was surprised when Brad arrived at the Abbott cabin, but she invited
him in. Brad explained that he'd been doing a lot of soul searching and then
confessed that he was still in love with her. He begged that she forgive him
for conspiring with Phyllis and asked that she give him a chance. "I want a
life with you," he said. "I want to give you anything." Sharon was
speechless for a few moments. Finally, she thanked him for the apology.
However, she told him that she's not interested in getting involved in a
relationship with him. She then said those painful words: "I really care
about you as a friend, but I don't love you the way you love me." Ouch. She
went to admit that the only person she's really loved is Nick — and that
he's the love of her life. Double ouch. Brad wondered how she could think
that when Nick betrayed her with Phyllis. Sharon explained that she didn't
want to stand in Nick's way of marrying Phyllis when Phyllis became
pregnant. Brad repeated that Sharon is everything to him and called her
"perfect." Sharon revealed that Jack had also called her the "perfect
woman," but that she wasn't able to stay with him either. "I just need more
than security," she explained. "I need passion." Brad was hurt, but Sharon
wanted to be honest with him, as well as herself. A dejected Carlton
prepared to leave before the snow storm got worse. Before heading out, he
told Sharon, "I'll love you until the day I die." Later, Sharon and Brad
each thought about their brief relationship with one another. Brad's car
then broke down.

Noah went out onto the lake and showed Eden how to skate. Eden warned Noah
that he was going out to far. The ice started to crack around him, and Noah
warned Eden to stay back. "Noah!" shrieked an alarmed Eden.

Friday

At the Abbott cabin, Sharon wrote a heartfelt letter to Nick. As she wrote,
she had a flashback about the day they brought baby Noah home. She then
flashed back to when Cassie joined the family. "We had everything, Nick. I
loved the love we shared." Sharon later had another flashback about her and
Nick's life after Cassie's death. In the present, she began to cry.

Nick and Michael went to search for Noah and Eden. Nick kept harping on
Michael for trusting the kids' lie about going to the bowling alley.
Meanwhile, Lauren and Phyllis made some calls to see if they could get
information. Phyllis blamed herself and hoped the teens would call her for a
ride home.

Meanwhile at the lake, Noah went out to far and the ice began to crack
around him. Eden ran to get help.... After getting rejected by Sharon, Brad
drove away into the storm and his car broke down. As he peered into the
woods, Brad heard a cry for help.

Ashley and Abby joined Colleen at the GCAC. Colleen noted that Brad had left
a message saying he'd be late, but he was going to be meeting up with her
and Abby for a father/daughter night. After, Jack joined them; he and Ashley
encouraged Colleen to again consider being the Fresh Face of Jabot. She
accepted. Abby declared it "the coolest thing ever." Abby then got a call
from Phyllis about Noah and Eden; Jack took the phone and asked her to keep
him posted.... Colleen left a couple of messages for Brad, wondering why he
was so late.

Jack told Ashley that he preferred Abby being raised by Brad than Victor.
Ashley was determined to make things work with Abby and both of her dads.
Jack then told her that he offered Gloria a deal to get her stock. Ashley
was angry at him for telling her this after the fact. They then discussed
his and Sharon's divorce; he didn't believe that Sharon's heart was ever
truly his. "Nick was always there," he noted.

Michael checked in with Lauren and told her that he and Nick met a man who
saw two kids going off into the woods. Lauren and Phyllis were concerned at
the thought that the teens were out in the cold. Phyllis couldn't recall if
they had boots or gloves, and feared they'd get lost. Lauren began to panic,
but Phyllis noted that Noah's been camping. She left a few more messages for
Noah... Michael and Nick heard a news report about the oncoming blizzard;
the announcer noticed that it was the biggest blizzard in a long time....
Phyllis blamed herself for everything and realized that Nick was probably
thinking about Cassie.... Brad followed the cry for help to the lake, where
Noah had fallen through the ice. "I'm coming," Brad promised. He then
carefully crawled out onto the ice and instructed Noah to keep talking. Brad
slithered across the ice so he wouldn't put his entire weight on it and put
down his flashlight. Later, Nick got a call that Noah and Eden had been
found. The four adults rushed to the hospital, where a tearful Eden met
them. The doctor informed them that Noah was being treated for hypothermia.
Eden explained that they were skating and the ice cracked — and that she
found him unconscious on the ice. Nick sat by Noah's bed. "Daddy's here," he
whispered.

Colleen and Abby wondered why Brad still hadn't arrived. Jack then got a
call about Noah and went to see him. He promised the girls and Ashley that
he'd keep them posted. Jack realized that Sharon didn't have a phone at the
cabin and was unaware of what had happened to her son.... At the cabin,
Sharon continued writing her very long letter to Nick about their life
together. "I thought we could overcome anything but nothing prepares you to
watch your own child die," she scribbled.... At the hospital, the doctor
tended to Noah. Phyllis called Victoria to check in on Summer and give her
an update. The doctor warned Nick that Noah could be more prone to
infections. Noah remained unconscious. After, Eden apologized to Nick for
"not thinking," which infuriated him. Nick reamed her and Michael out....
Abby and Colleen worried about Noah. Abby blamed Eden for Noah's
condition.... Jack arrived at the hospital and asked if anyone had reached
Sharon. Phyllis replied that no one could get through. Just then, Noah
regained consciousness; Nick, Phyllis and Jack went to see him. Eden wanted
to see him, as well, but Michael didn't think that was a good idea. Noah was
surprised to find he was in the hospital. Nick told him that he'd fallen
through the ice. Noah recalled falling for help, but didn't remember how he
got himself out of the lake.... In her letter, Sharon wrote to Nick how
she's still in love with him. "I can't do this," she suddenly said aloud and
crumpled up the letter. She tossed it into the wood pile for the fire....
The doctor told everyone that Noah was going to be fine. "Next time go to a
movie," Jack joked with the teen. Jack then shared the good news with the
Baldwins. Eden again asked if she could see Noah. Jack promised to tell him
that Eden was there.... Nick asked Phyllis to stay with Noah while he went
to tell Sharon what happened. Noah apologized for lying.

Colleen began to worry about why Brad hadn't called. She went to check
Brad's house. Ashley became concerned, as well. Back at the lake, Brad's
abandoned car continued to get covered by snow. Meanwhile, his abandoned
flashlight was still in the same spot where he'd placed it. Uh-oh.
