Monday
At the lake, a broken Patty held a gun on Jack and Victor and tried to decide who she wanted to shoot. Jack apologized for causing her so much pain. Victor told Patty that Jack isn't worth her love or tears, and warned her that if she shoots Jack, she'll go to jail. Patty angrily blamed Victor for trying to buy and own her, and bringing her to Genoa City. Victor asked her to give him a chance to make her life what it once was. She replied that she had nothing then and has nothing now. Victor then lunged for her to get the gun and she shot him several times! Jack sat open-mouthed as Victor writhed in pain, then grabbed Victor's phone and called an ambulance for Victor and Colleen. Paul and J.T. soon came running and Jack filled them in on the drama. Patty fled the scene.
At the Abbott mansion, Billy and Traci overheard the gunshots over the phone
and panicked.... Victoria and Nick discussed Victor bringing Patty to town
and sadly agreed that this made it hard to love him. Soon, the Abbotts and
Victoria were given the bad news about Colleen and Victor.
At the Newman Ranch, Ashley told a shocked Adam that she's moving out. She
still couldn't believe that Victor tried to use Patty to get back at Jack
and didn't tell her the truth. Adam urged her to calm down, but she was in a
rage as she packed her things. He feared that she would harm her "baby."
Adam then told her about Paul accusing Victor of bringing Patty to town.
Ashley was furious with Adam for not saying anything to her about it, but he
explained that he kept quiet because he didn't believe Paul's lies. Ashley
still planned to leave. Soon, Dr. Taylor came by and Adam implored the doc
to get Ashley to stay put. Taylor warned him that the truth about her not
really being pregnant is going to come out eventually.... Ashley wrote
Victor a heartfelt good-bye letter, explaining that he was willing to risk
her health and sanity for his feud with Jack. "I love you, Victor, but I no
longer have any faith in you," she wrote. Later, Dr. Taylor came by and
suggested she take a sedative. Ashley insisted on leaving the ranch.
Victoria and the Abbotts rushed to the hospital, where they were met by
Chance. He assured them that the cops were looking for Patty. Jack told his
family that Victor had told him to help Colleen.
Meanwhile, Paul chased Patty and found her hiding out at a lodge with her
cat. She was sitting on the floor crying. Paul tried to reach out to her. He
then injected her with anti-venom for her spider bite and promised to take
care of her. She asked if she was going to be taken away, and begged him to
"make it all go away." Paul held his sister and told her that she needs
professional help. He promised to go with her when she turned herself in.
She agreed to go to the cops.
Colleen and Victor were rushed into surgery. Traci was beside herself as she
saw an unconscious Colleen being wheeled in. Jack tearfully explained how he
found Colleen face-down in the water and did everything he could to help
her. A doctor then joined them and informed the family that they had to put
Colleen on a ventilator because she was no longer breathing on her own....
Abby feared that her father and sister were going to die. She thought they
should get Ashley.... Victoria and Nick visited an unconscious Victor. Vicky
regretted having been angry with their father. Nick was confident that
Victor would get well and that he loves them. "I'm so sorry," Victoria
whispered to her dad.... Traci and Steve sat with Colleen. Traci and Abby
then went to the chapel to pray for her. Abby thought back to Brad dying in
the lake; Traci assured her that they found Colleen before it was too
late.... Billy sat with Colleen and blamed himself for letting her go to the
cabin by herself.... The doctor told the Newmans that Victor had bullets in
his heart. Abby visited Victor, who awoke to tell his children that he loves
them.
Paul called Chance and told him that Patty is surrendering. Chance met up
with them and gently took Patty. Paul promised her that it would be okay. He
then explained to Chance that Patty didn't understand what she'd done.
Chance planned to take her to a psychiatric facility. Patty broke down, but
Paul assured her that she'd get the help she needs there. She freaked out
when Paul reached for Kitty Kitty, but eventually handed her cat over to her
brother.
Billy arrived at the ranch and told Ashley about Victor, Colleen and Patty.
Ashley was understandably devastated.... Victor asked Victoria to tell Nikki
that he feels the same. After, Victoria and Nick agreed that they needed to
find their mother.... The doctor told the Abbotts that they got a faint
reading of some activity in Colleen's brain. Traci was hopeful, but the
doctor warned them that Colleen could be brain dead. She advised them to
prepare for the worst.
Tuesday
At Crimson Lights, Gloria used the pay phone to call Jeffrey and discuss Patty shooting Victor and kidnapping Colleen. She tearfully noted that if they went to jail for taking Patty to the Abbott cabin in the first place, at least they'd have running water. Kevin wondered why his mom looked so unkempt; Glo admitted that she's broke and doesn't have a cell phone, running water or laundry. She asked Kevin for help, noting that all of Jeff's get-rich schemes seem to backfire. He wasn't sure what he could do; she acknowledged that with all of the terrible things she's done, she doesn't deserve his help and that her karma has come back to haunt her.
At the coffeehouse, Amber scribbled notes on Nina's screenplay about
Katherine. Amber wished she'd hear from Daniel about getting the Terroni
painting. Deacon slithered in and sidled up next to her. Amber showed off
her engagement ring from Daniel, but Deacon was confident that Daniel
wouldn't come through with the painting. Soon, Daniel arrived at Crimson
Lights and informed Amber that he can't get into the safety deposit box
because he's not authorized to use the key. Kevin and Jana realized that
Gloria was allowed to use it because she was married to Tom at the time.
Kevin didn't think it was a good idea to get Gloria involved. Daniel was
determined to get the box opened without telling Glo what was inside....
Deacon joined Gloria and asked if she wanted to work with him. She turned
him down, but he encouraged her to call him.
Billy went to the Newman Ranch and told Ashley about Victor getting shot.
Adam and Ashley prepared to go to the hospital.... Abby sat with Colleen in
the hospital. Traci was hopeful that Colleen wouldn't end up brain dead, but
Jack and Steve were being more realistic about her chances of survival.
Traci asked them, as well as Paul, to join her in a prayer for Colleen. She
then very kindly asked Paul how Patty was doing. Paul regretted not doing
anything to stop her. Jack and Traci assured him that it wasn't his fault.
Jack recalled Patty saying that Colleen was going to get her help; when Paul
mentioned Patty's spider bite, Traci concluded that Colleen had been
planning to get help to save Patty's life.
Meanwhile, Nick and Victoria waited for an update on Victor. Nick was
confident that he'd make it, but Victoria wasn't so sure. She wished they
could get in touch with Nikki. J.T. joined them and sadly informed them that
Colleen wasn't doing so well.... Ashley arrived at the hospital and embraced
Traci, and then Abby.... Adam arrived with Victor's favorite book and
slippers. Nick and Victoria found it hard to believe that Adam even cared.
Billy tried to keep calm in the chapel, to no avail. Mac attempted to
comfort him and assured him that it's not his fault Colleen went to the
Abbott cabin.... Paul told Jack that he's going to look for Nikki. Ashley
overheard and recalled her belief that she'd hit Nikki with her car. She
lied to Paul that she didn't know where Nikki was, either.... Victoria
informed Abby that Victor is in stable condition. Later, Colleen was wheeled
back into her room after having had tests done. Traci continued to remain
optimistic. Victoria told an unconscious Colleen that they were all pulling
for her, and pleaded with her to wake up.... Nick kept vigil by Victor's
bedside. Adam offered to take over so Nick could get something to eat. At
first, Nick refused, but changed his mind when Adam reminded him that Victor
is also his father. Adam spoke to an unconscious Victor, saying that he's
worked hard to bring his father down and wasn't going to let his dad "fade
away without fanfare." Adam regretted not being the son who Victor could be
proud of. "You need to live," he pleaded, breaking down.... J.T. went to the
chapel to pray and found Mac there. He opened up to his ex about his marital
problems with Victoria and wondered if their issues even mattered, given
all that was going on.... Jack asked Ashley why she seemed so upset about
Paul searching for Nikki. Ashley lied that she was just surprised since no
one had heard from her. Ash then asked exactly what happened with Patty;
Jack explained how Victor had brought Patty to town ‹ and that Victor had
saved his life because Patty had been intending to shoot him.
Ashley later went to the chapel with Adam and told him that Paul is looking
for Nikki. She admitted that she's starting to hear Nikki's voice the same
way she had with Sabrina; she feared that she'd have her baby in a mental
institution. She was also afraid that something would happen to Victor....
Traci spoke to her daughter, telling Colleen that she and Steve plan to stay
in Genoa City. The doctor then came in and reported that Colleen is indeed
brain dead. Traci refused to believe it. Jack gave the bad news to Nick,
Victoria, Ashley, Adam and Abby. Another doctor arrived to tell the
Newmans that Victor was doing well. Jack was furious that Victor was getting
another shot while his niece was brain dead.... A desperate Traci went
online to find stories about people recovering from being brain dead. She
was certain that Colleen was still in there..... Victoria joined a
devastated J.T. in the chapel. "She didn't deserve this," he whispered. "No,
she didn't," Victoria agreed. She reached out to embrace him and he sobbed
in his wife's arms.
Nick thought about losing Cassie, and what Traci must be going through. Paul
wished he'd done more to stop Patty, but Nick understood why he needed to
support his sister. Paul then got a text from someone who saw Nikki the
night of the storm..... Ashley visited Victor and began to pour her heart
out and he then muttered Nikki's name. Meanwhile, Nikki was alive and
well, and was relaxing at a luxurious spa!
Wednesday
Deacon again met with Gloria at Crimson Lights and told her that he could
make her a wealthy woman. She told him that the Terroni is gone. He informed
her that the painting is in a safe deposit box in Detroit, and that she has
the power to open it. Glo perked up when he revealed how much the
painting is worth, and offered to give her $2.5 million.
Meanwhile, Jana, Daniel, Kevin and Amber continued to plot on how they could
get into Gloria's safe deposit box ‹ and then decided that Amber should
dress as Gloria. Kevin presented Amber with a big, black Gloria-style hat,
which he declared should "work" for their plan.
At the G.C.A.C, Lauren and Michael ran into an unkempt Jeffrey, who
confessed that he and Gloria are broke. The Baldwins went to the
coffeehouse and questioned Gloria about her financial situation. She
admitted that she lost all of her money, but assured them that she has
"fabulous prospects." Michael was dubious and offered her money. She
answered that she's fine.
Katherine and Murphy threw another barbecue at the Chancellor Estate. Jill,
Phillip, Esther, Chance, Chloe and Nina also attended. Kay told the gang how
blessed she is to have them in her life. Things became somber as they took a
minute to discuss Colleen. Kay stated that they needed to cherish every
moment they have. After, Nina urged Phillip to talk to Chance, really
wanting to get Chloe away from her son. Chloe noted that Nina was giving her
dirty looks, and Chance acknowledged that his mom is overprotective. Esther
then came over to Chloe and warned her that Chance is falling for her, and
that she shouldn't use him to make Billy jealous. Chloe replied that Chance
would find a girl who was more like him.... Murphy encouraged Phillip to let
down his guard, noting that everyone has been very forgiving toward Phillip,
given that he'd deceived them all.... Jill became upset when Kay reminded
her that she owed her share of the property taxes. Kay accused her of
overreacting, unaware that Jill's broke. Jill freaked out when Nina and Kay
discussed Nina's screenplay, and accused them of plotting to make her look
bad in the movie. Jill then scribbled out a check for Kay and stormed away.
Murphy noticed that she hadn't signed it.... Phillip reminded Nina that
Chance is no longer a little boy who needs to be looked out for. Chance
asked his mom to give Chloe a break. Later, he gave Chloe some adorable
Genoa City Police Department baby clothes for Cordelia.
Jill stopped by the coffeehouse and told Gloria to get to work, but Glo said
she was through with minimum wage work. Kay came in, having followed Jill, and asked Gloria if she knew where Jill went. Gloria gave her
the address of the nail salon.
Jeff found Lauren and Michael at the coffeehouse and asked why Gloria was
going to Detroit. Michael feared what his mother was up to, but Lauren
reminded him that it was Gloria's problem..... Kevin arrived at the bank
with Amber, who was dressed as a grieving Gloria. Daniel and Jana lurked in
the back. Kevin asked the clerk if they could get into Tom's safe deposit
box. The manager soon joined them and Amber continued to play the part of
the weeping widow. When she went to sign the papers, Amber lied that she'd
sprained her wrist. The manager said that her signature didn't match the one
on the passport. Kevin and Jana distracted the manager and clerk so Amber
and Daniel could make their way in. Later, the real Gloria arrived.
Kay went to the salon, where she and Jill were surprised to see each other.
Thursday
Katherine was shocked to learn that Jill is working at a nail salon. Jill
reluctantly painted Kay's nails and confessed that she'd lost all of her
money. The ladies then admitted that they missed each other. As Kay left,
she handed Jill a check as a tip.
At the bank, a disguised Amber and Daniel sneaked into the vault so they
could get to Tom's safe deposit box. The real Gloria then arrived and was
surprised to hear that "Gloria" was already at the vault. The bank manager
found Amber and Daniel and asked them to come with him. They then came
face-to-face with Gloria. "Will the real Gloria Fisher please stand up?"
asked the manager. Kevin lied that Amber's the "real" Gloria and that
Gloria is his grandmother. HA! Needless to say, Glo was not pleased. The
manager threatened to call the cops. Daniel concluded that Deacon had spoken
with Gloria and warned her that Sharpe couldn't be trusted. He also assured
her that if she played along, she'd get her cut of the profits. Naturally,
she agreed to go along with the plan. Later, when they returned to Genoa
City, Amber showed them how she'd smuggled the painting (rolled up, minus
the frame). Gloria wanted her money, but the others filled her in on how
Amber needed to give the Terroni to Deacon so he'd be out of her life. Glo
wasn't sympathetic and wanted her cash.
At the hospital, Steve confided to J.T. that Traci is having a difficult
time accepting that Colleen is brain dead. Ashley joined Traci at Colleen's
bedside and sobbed about how she shouldn't have trusted Victor. Ashley
apologized to an unconscious Colleen for not stopping Victor when she'd had
a chance. Traci pleaded with her daughter to wake up. "So many people need
you," she cried. Traci was ecstatic when Colleen's hand moved, but the
doctor said that there was no change in her condition.
Meanwhile, Victoria and Nick kept an eye on an ailing Victor. Victor awoke
and they explained that he'd just come out of surgery. Nick then called
Paul, who told him he was following a lead about Nikki's whereabouts. Paul
went to a retreat in Colorado ‹ where he found where Nikki was staying.
Immediately, she realized that something was wrong..... Ashley went to the
chapel and found Adam there; she told Adam that Victor had regained
consciousness. She felt like a fool for getting involved with him again.
Adam said he couldn't excuse what Victor did, but understood it. Ashley
couldn't comprehend how Adam could defend him. She planned to talk to Victor
as soon as possible.... Victor asked how Colleen is doing and Nick evaded
the question. Victor demanded to know the truth, and Victoria revealed that
she's brain dead. A guilty Victor was devastated.
Paul filled in Nikki about how Patty had shot Victor. Nikki was horrified
and confused when he explained that Mary Jane is Patty and that Victor was
the one who'd brought her to town. Nikki regretted having left town, but
Paul assured her that she had nothing to feel guilty about. She then
informed him that she'd sent a bunch of letters to the ranch; Paul confirmed
that no one had ever gotten them. Later, Paul became furious when Nikki
defended Victor and stated that Patty is just as guilty. When Nikki almost
called Victor her husband, Paul angrily realized that Nikki would always
stand by Newman. He softened as he reasoned that she needed to be with
Victor, but she thought it was best if she stayed away.
Ashley paid Victor a visit and told him that this time, he went too far.
"How do you destroy the lives of people you claim to love how do you do
that?" she sadly asked him. Victor insisted that he loves her. "You don't
love me. You can't love me because you don't know the meaning of the word,"
Ashley spat. "I thought we could have everything. It kills me to know that
none of it was ever real." She refused to let Victor manipulate her ever
again. "Isn't it enough that you've taken my niece from me?" she asked,
getting in his face and becoming angry. "Eventually someone I love will get
hurt again!" Just as she told him that she and Abby are moving out, Victor
went into cardiac arrest.
Victoria and J.T. visited Colleen. Traci was still insisting that Colleen
would be okay. She invited Victoria to sit with her, but Vicky became
uncomfortable and went to be with Victor. J.T. stayed behind with Colleen
for a moment and promised Traci that he'd be back. Later, Traci continued to
beg Colleen to wake up..... Victor's condition became dire and Ashley blamed
herself. Nikki called Nick and heard the chaos surrounding Victor. She
decided to return home right away.
Friday
An upset and worried Sharon called Nick from the mental hospital to check in
on Victor's status. Meanwhile, at the hospital, Adam told Nick and Victoria
that Ashley wasn't responsible for Victor's heart failure. Nick and Victoria
wished they'd hear from Nikki.... Ashley continued to blame herself for
Victor's condition. Adam tried to keep her calm and promised to get news on
Victor. After, the doctor informed the family that Victor is undergoing
surgery. Abby and Adam urged Ashley to go home and get some rest, but she
wanted to stay at the hospital.... Victoria planned to issue a press release
about her father. Nick decided to visit Sharon so she wouldn't feel out of
the loop.
Lily found a picture of herself with Colleen and Sierra, admitting to Cane
that she hadn't spoken with Sierra in years. She then came across Colleen's
angel pin. Lily wanted to give it to Colleen, but Cane argued that it wasn't
a good idea for her to go to a germy hospital while undergoing chemo. Lily
insisted on going, and agreed to wear a surgical mask.
Traci, Billy and Steve kept vigil over Colleen. Billy
stated that when Colleen got well, they could take a trip to a
museum. Jack brought another doctor by, who informed them that there was no
hope for Colleen ever waking up. Traci refused to give up, but the doctor
explained that it was only the life support that was keeping her alive.
Traci stated that she believes in miracles. Jack had a more realistic view
and urged his sister to remove her from life support. Traci broke down as
Jack acknowledged what a difficult decision it is. "I can't do it," she
cried. "Never." Jack stated that it was just Colleen's body in the bed, but
not Colleen. Abby soon joined them and Billy sadly told her that Colleen
isn't going to make it. Abby was understandably devastated and begged Traci
not to take her off of life support. She and Traci shared a moment alone as
they comforted each other. Lily and Cane arrived at the hospital and Billy
gave them the bad news. Lily was shocked, but tried to stay strong so that
she could pay her friend a visit.... Steve and Jack reminisced about what a
great person Colleen was. "I love her like she's my own," Steve said,
breaking into sobs.
Jack overheard Adam and Ashley arguing and came over to see what was going
on. Adam wanted her to go home to the ranch, while Jack wanted her to go the
Newman Ranch. A fed-up Ashley stormed away — then spied Nikki in the
hospital hallway. Ashley, thinking of the night she allegedly hit Nikki,
freaked out. Jack said hello to Nikki, which agitated Ashley even more. "I
killed her!" Ashley yelled and ran off. Paul arrived and joined Nikki so
they could check up on Victor. Victoria was thrilled to see her mom and
tearfully filled her in on Victor's surgery. Nikki was confident that he'd
make it.... J.T. told Paul that the doctors think Traci should take Colleen
off of life support. "Why Colleen?" J.T. asked. "She didn't deserve any of
this." He admitted that he was having a hard time accepting it.
Nick went to the mental hospital and admitted to Sharon how confused he is
over Victor — how he's angry with him over bringing Patty to town, but
worried that his dad could die. Sharon suddenly doubled over in pain, but
assured Nick that there were no problems with her pregnancy. She didn't
think she should be the one who Nick keeps relying on and implored him to
ask Phyllis to come home from Switzerland. Nick reminded her that her baby
is his and that they will always be connected. Just as he was about to
leave, she had more pains, which she stated were just Braxton-Hicks
contractions.
Traci was happy when Lily stopped by Colleen's room. Lily explained that she
couldn't stay away from someone she loves. Lily gave Colleen back her angel
pin and told Traci about the dream she'd had where Colleen urged her to live
in the present. Traci asked Lily to keep the pin, noting that Colleen
wouldn't need it anymore.
Jack took Ashley to the Abbott mansion and she continued to rant about how
she'd killed Nikki. Adam soon arrived and asked Ashley to come home. She
dissolved into tears and wouldn't listen to either of them. Jack stated that
she needed psychiatric care and she agreed to go. Later, Jack and Adam
checked her in to the mental hospital, though Adam didn't think she should
be there. Jack told him to back off. Ashley believed that she should be in
jail, but Jack assured her that she's in the right place. He walked her to
her room.
Traci tearfully told Lily and her family that she's going to have Colleen
taken off of life support. "As hard a decision as this is, taking Colleen
off of life support is the right decision," she cried. "She's with Brad now,
watching over us all."
Nikki sat with an awake Victor, who was happy to see her. "You're here," he
muttered. The doctor came by and Nikki almost introduced herself as Victor's
wife, but then corrected herself and called herself his "good friend." The
doctor then informed them that Victor needs a heart transplant within a few
days in order to survive.
