Monday
Michael let Gloria have it about "poisoning Jeffrey" and considered how to deal with her latest troubles. Fearing that Jeffrey had already ratted her out to Jill, Gloria suggested she finally come clean about her tampering with Ashley's Jabot face cream, but Michael shut her down, insisting "there will be no confession, ever." Michael didn't believe that Jeffrey had told Jill about the tampering and warned his mother to keep mum.
Jeffrey joked that Gloria finds him irresistible. Jill called him a liar.
She prodded Jeffrey for details on what Gloria had done. "I always felt that she was hiding something," Jill insisted. Jeffrey wouldn't spill and changed the subject by asking her out to dinner.
Esther went through Jeffrey's pockets and put together a note he had torn into pieces. Gloria popped in but Jill refused to let her see Jeffrey.
Esther tried to let Glo know that Jeffrey still loved her, using hand signals. Katherine came home and Esther showed her the note she had reassembled.
"Keep reading, it gets better," she urged her boss. Jill came home, upset about the judge's ruling. Katherine offered Jill some anti-Jeffrey advice.
"I'm just having fun with Jeffrey. It's just a slap and a tickle," she claimed.
In the pool house, Gloria opened up to Alistair. "Does that mean I have no chance of winning your affections?" Alistair asked. "You are a good, good friend," she told him, but, "Jeffrey's the only man for me," she added as she hugged Alistair. Gloria didn't know that Jeffrey was outside her door looking in.
Nikki was stunned when David told her Paul thought he had murdered his first two wives. Nikki began to shake and admitted that Victor also David investigated earlier, but she knew nothing about any "murders." David explained that though he wasn't as famous as she, "I am somewhat of a public figure." Nikki asked him to explain. He told her about Terri, his first wife — "a dynamo." He had never mentioned her because it was too painful. He said he had begged her to go into therapy, but she refused. He continued that his second wife, Angela, loved to fly and had a pilot's license. "She was an adrenaline junkie," he said, and she died in a car accident. David also mentioned his stepdaughter for the first time. "She had a cocaine problem," he noted. David said she had accused him of killing her mother for money. David admitted that he gambled Angela's entire fortune away. Nikki was stunned at David's admission. Wife number three, Elizabeth, suffered from paranoia. She accused David of spying on her. He said they separated because she refused to get help. David then began his affair with Carmen. Nikki wondered why David hadn't told her any of this before. He said he didn't want to scare her, but agreed that he should have trusted her more. "For that, I am sorry," he added. David gushed that not only did he fall in love with Nikki, "I fell in love with life all over again. I was afraid that I would lose you." Nikki received a call. The judge was ready to rule on the lawsuit with Newman. Nikki left the room. David sighed heavily. Later Nikki begged Paul to stop investigating her husband.
Victor joined Nikki and their lawyers in the boardroom. Jill was annoyed that she hadn't been told about the decision earlier. The judge gave her ruling — no patent infringement. Newman Enterprises was victorious. Adam was overjoyed. Victor and Michael were also pleased. Jill exploded and told Nikki that they weren't spending "another dime on this lawsuit." Sabrina gave Victor a victory kiss. Nikki admitted the case was over, and said she wanted to spend the evening "with my wonderful husband." The couple left the office building together as Paul watched.
Adam ran into Heather by the elevator. He hoped there weren't any hard feelings. Once the elevator doors shut, the two began kissing passionately.
Sharon told Nick that Victor had invited Noah to his upcoming wedding. Noah was very excited about heading off to summer camp. As he said goodbye to his dad, Nick asked for a letter every other day. They hugged and headed out. Sharon dropped Noah off at the bus and then returned to the office, wiping her eyes. Sharon and Nick started talking about Cassie, which left them both sad.
Sabrina showed up and wished Noah well. She came to talk to Nick about the wedding. She said she felt bad about all the friction it was causing and she wanted to mend things. "Never going to happen," Nick told his father's fiancé.
Tuesday
Over dinner, Michael told Lauren how he desperately needed to connect with his family's history. He said he needed to know where he fit in the big picture. Lauren told him the restoration company had finished the second volume of his grandmother's diary and asked him if he was ready to read it. When Michael began reading, he learned his grandmother had been devastated by her son's struggle with drugs and alcohol.
Jill badgered Jeff to figure out why Gloria tried to kill him, but couldn't stand to be apart from him. Jeff told Jill he didn't want to talk about Gloria anymore, and Jill promised she'd change the subject. Before they could start a new conversation, Kay interrupted and asked them if they'd be dining with her. Jill said they'd be going out to eat. Jill and Jeff went to the club for dinner, and Jeff invited Jill up to his room for a drink. Jill kissed Jeff and declined. On his way up to his room, Jeff ran into Alistair. When Alistair made a comment about Gloria's bedroom behavior, Jeff punched him.
When Jill returned home, she told Kay she'd had a lovely time with Jeff. Kay handed her a recent love note Jeff had written to Gloria, but Jill said Jeff must have been high on medication when he wrote it. Kay told her to face the fact that Jeff loved Gloria.
At the Abbott mansion, Gloria and Alistair grossed Sharon out when they went for a late-night skinny dip. When Jack came outside, he ordered Alistair to get dressed and get out. When Alistair left, Jack scolded Gloria for her naked romp. Gloria apologized and went inside the pool house, and Jack promised Sharon he'd set boundaries with their house guest. Jack called Michael and told him to come get his mom, and when Michael and Lauren showed up to handle Gloria, Jack and Sharon resumed their romantic evening and made love.
At the Restless Style offices, Adrian thanked Amber for helping him get an assignment with the magazine. He took her to dinner as a thank you, and Amber asked how he and Colleen were handling their long-distance relationship. Amber said she thought they had the perfect relationship, but Adrian told her nothing was perfect.
Meanwhile, Chloe tried to weasel her way into alone time with Cane by sending Lily and Devon ahead to dinner and pretending like she needed a ride from the Restless Style offices. Cane beat her at her own game by asking Devon to pick her up, so he and Lily could go to dinner. When Devon showed up to the office, he called Chloe out on her scheme to get Cane. She tried to deny it, but Devon said he could see right through her, and so would Lily, eventually. To his surprise, Chloe leaned in and kissed Devon.
Wednesday
At Jabot, Nikki told David she was happy he'd told her the truth about his past, and that she was proud of him. Later, Brad told David about a bet he was placing, trying to entice him into more gambling. David didn't bite, but he wished Brad luck.
At the boutique, Lauren talked with Sabrina and Victor about Sabrina's wedding dress. When Victoria came in, Victor asked if she would be attending the wedding. Victoria said she hadn't decided yet. When Victoria went back to work, Sabrina followed her to apologize for the awkwardness. Victoria told her soon-to-be stepmom she'd soon find out how Victor really was. When she went to Nikki's office to tell her about the run-in, Victoria admitted that seeing Victor happy upset her. Nikki told her it was normal, and not to beat herself up about it.
When Gloria showed up to work at the boutique, she was disappointed to learn her new boss was a bubbly, twentysomething assistant manager. Gloria tried to maintain a positive attitude while she checked the shoeboxes to make sure all the pairs matched. When Gloria got into a minor spat with a customer looking for shoes, Lauren could tell having Gloria as an employee would be tough.
At the coffee shop, Paul told J.T. he took all the blame for investigating David when Nikki found out. Paul said Nikki was upset, but she still trusted David completely. He added that Nikki asked him to back down, but he had no intention of doing so. When Paul went to Jabot to take Heather to lunch, he lied and told David he'd honor Nikki's request to stop the investigation. David thanked him, but wondered if Paul was telling the truth.
When David took Nikki to dinner, she asked where his watch was. David lied and said he sent it to a manufacturer to have it fixed. Nikki looked at him suspiciously, but before she could think on it, David pointed out that Victor and Sabrina were in the restaurant. Victor asked Nikki not to poison Nick and Victoria against coming to the wedding. Nikki sniffed that he was out of line and off-base.
Alistair stopped by the Abbott mansion to say goodbye to Gloria, but Jack and Sharon told him she was working at the boutique with Lauren. When he left, Sharon wondered if Gloria would talk Alistair into staying in town, but Jack vowed to make sure that didn't happen. When Alistair left, John appeared to Jack to scold him about his latest spat with Gloria. Jack told John it was still tough not having him around. John told Jack he was still there for him, and Jack thanked him for his support.
When Alistair said goodbye to Gloria at the boutique, she thanked him for being a good friend. Alistair kissed her hand and told her he'd miss her.
Thursday
At the Restless Style offices, Jack and Nick argued over the cover model's look. Nick accused Jack of being angry because he chose the cover model without Jack's consent. Jack claimed he was being ridiculous, but Nick insisted Jack was being difficult because he didn't like not being in total control of the operation.
When cover model Katie showed up, Phyllis was about to show her to wardrobe, but Jack objected to the looks that were pulled. The four Restless Style bosses began arguing again, and while Katie waited to go into makeup, she asked Amber if she could see some of her sketches. Amber jumped at the opportunity to show off her designs, and was thrilled when Katie liked them. When Katie got out of makeup, Sharon suggested a totally new look, and Katie agreed to try it. Jack, Phyllis and Nick were hesitant, but they agreed to go with Sharon's idea. The cover shoot was a success, but Jack was still not convinced Katie's look would work. When a huge advertisement deal he was working on fell through because they didn't think Katie could reach their demographic, Jack told Nick they needed to rethink the cover before they lost more ad dollars.
At the boutique, Lauren scolded Gloria for accusing one of her customers of shoplifting. Before Gloria had a chance to compose herself, Jill waltzed in to harass her about being a sales clerk. Jill mocked Glo while asking her to pick out dresses and offered to model them for Jeff. Jeff arrived and asked Gloria if she was okay, and Gloria said she was fine. When Jill kept badgering her rival, Glo dumped coffee on her. Jill ran back to the Jabot office to tell Kay what happened. Kay told Jill to get it through her head that Jeff would never look at her like he looked at Gloria.
Once alone, Jeff asked Gloria how she could stoop so low and sleep with Alistair. Gloria said she had needs and wouldn't apologize. She asked Jeff how he could sleep with Jill, and Jeff said he hadn't slept with Jill yet. Jeff left Gloria at the boutique and went to apologize to Jill for Gloria's behavior.
At the ranch, Victor, Adam and Sabrina chatted about Newman Enterprises' issues with Jabot. Victor told Adam to learn from his mistakes and move on, and Adam was glad to be back in his good graces.
Later, when Adam found Sabrina sitting alone, he could tell she'd been crying. He asked her if she was upset by Victor and Nikki's fight. Sabrina said she knew they had history, but she was bothered by the animosity on both sides. Adam admitted Victor was pretty harsh, and said he didn't understand how Victor could be so forgiving with him about the lawsuit, but not forgiving to his other kids or Nikki. Sabrina didn't understand it either. Adam said that he did know Victor was always good with Hope, because she brought out the best in him. He told Sabrina he believed she brought out the best in Victor as well.
Friday
At Jabot, Adam stopped by to see Heather and invite her to breakfast.
Heather told Adam she already had brunch plans with Paul, and said she was nervous since it was their first Father's Day together. Adam said it was his first with Victor as well. They treated stories about their experiences.
Nikki and David showed up to meet Nick, Phyllis and Summer for the family's Father's Day brunch. Nikki was disappointed when Nick mentioned Victor wouldn't be joining them. Meanwhile, Victoria stopped by the ranch to wish Victor a Happy Father's Day. She gave him framed photos of the grandchildren, and told Victor she was sad he would miss J.T.'s first Father's Day with Reed. Victor hugged her before she left, and Sabrina told him she didn't want him to miss the gathering because of her. Victor said he was missing the gathering because of Nikki.
Michael was surprised when he walked into the poolhouse and found the decorations Gloria and Lauren set up. When he sat down with Fenmore, Gloria handed him a present, but Michael said the best present would be her telling him the truth about his father. Gloria resisted initially, but she finally told Michael that his father was someone she was with in her hippie days. Michael was disappointed to learn Gloria was never married to his father and had been lying about it, but Gloria said they didn't believe they needed a certificate to prove their love. She said when she got pregnant with Michael, she didn't want to live out of a bus, so the couple split and she never saw him again.
At the Newman family brunch, Nick and J.T. opened their gifts, and Nikki was thankful for Reed and Victoria being alive and surviving Victoria's accident. Nick reminded her it was a happy occasion, and Victoria tried to smile, but she was upset over not being with Victor. Meanwhile, David tried to keep tabs on his most recent bet. When he hopped up to check the stats, Paul approached him and reminded him he'd be keeping an eye on him.
Victor called Nick to thank him for his gift. They exchanged well wishes, and when Victor got off the phone he looked regretful about missing the gathering. Soon Adam stopped by to see Victor and wish him a happy first Father's Day. Victor said it wasn't the first, and told Adam that they'd spent the holiday together when Adam was baptized. Adam was touched knowing Victor had been there, and Victor gave him a framed picture form the baptism. When Adam left, Sabrina sat Victor down and told him she was pregnant.
