Monday
At the Chancellor Estate, Chloe spoke aloud to Cordelia about Mac and
Billy's past relationship. Chloe was determined to build a family again with
Delia and Billy. Meanwhile, Mac and Billy passionately kissed after hearing
their song play at Jimmy's bar. They were about to have sex, when someone
knocked at the door. It was Raul, whom Chloe had called saying Mac had an
emergency. Chloe went to the Abbott pool house and practiced her response
for when a dejected Billy inevitably came home and wanted to be with her.
At Restless Style, Phyllis tried to put together a photo shoot for the Kids'
Toys issue, but was having problems due to Mary Jane going behind her back
and canceling her appointments. Jack was surprised to find MJ watching
Summer for Phyllis at the tack house. Summer showed Jack the art project
she'd made. MJ questioned him about his relationship with Phyllis; he
insisted that they were just friends. Soon, Phyllis returned home and
thanked Mary Jane for watching her daughter. After MJ left, Phyllis declared
her new pal a "keeper." Later, Phyllis lamented to Jack about how her
marriage to Nick ended. She feared that Summer would get lost in the shuffle
if Sharon's child turned out to be Nick's. Jack suggested they discuss
something else; Phyllis said that her work was going well, thanks to MJ's
help. Jack called MJ "interesting," but said that nothing serious was going
on with Mary Jane. He noted that MJ had lied to him about being married.
Phyllis believed that MJ wanted the relationship to be more serious.... Back
in her GCAC suite, Mary Jane confided in her cat which was actually a
stuffed cat about how Jack couldn't wait for her to leave the tack house
so he could be with Phyllis.
Dr. Taylor met up with Victor and Ashley at the GCAC, but not before getting
a text message warning from Adam. Dr. Taylor sat down with them and a
"pregnant" Ashley told him that she's feeling great. They were interrupted
when Olivia ran into them. Taylor panicked when Liv mentioned his
"reputation," but it turned out she had nothing but positive things to say
about his career. With Liv's recommendation, Victor approved of Taylor being
Ashley's doctor. After, Taylor called Adam and told things went as planned
though the doc wasn't happy to be tricking a deluded woman into thinking she
was still pregnant. Meanwhile, Ashley assured Victor that she liked her new
doctor. Liv was cool about Ashley using another doctor, especially since
Ashley seemed to be acting like herself again. Ash happily stated that
having Victor's child felt "right." Olivia promised to stay out of their
business.
At Jimmy's, Mac assured Raul that there was no "emergency." She asked if
they could talk. Raul reminded her how much he loves her, but she
interrupted his speech. Raul asked Mac if she loves him, and she confirmed
it.... Billy returned to the pool house and found Chloe there. She explained
that she was there because she came by to get Delia's hat. Billy didn't buy
it. Chloe reminded him how it wasn't too long ago that they were in New York
having fun, and now they were having awkward run-ins. She concluded that he
was at the bar with Mac; Billy replied that Raul interrupted them. Chloe
stopped herself from feeling sympathetic toward Billy and stormed out. Billy
asked her to stay and began kissing her. She angrily told him that she's not
his "consolation prize." He kept kissing her, but pulled away when he
thought of Mac. Chloe bristled when Billy called her a "great girl." She
reminded him that she's more than a girl; she's his wife. "I'm so done with
you," Chloe shouted. "Are you done?" Billy challenged. Chloe removed her
wedding band and tossed it at him.
Victor paid Mary Jane a visit at the GCAC and warned her that she'd
committed a number of missteps in their plan against Jack, including raising
Paul's suspicions. He feared that she'd fail. MJ insisted that she wasn't
failing and had Jack right where she wanted him. Victor wished she'd come to
him for help with the Paul situation and implored her to have the judge drop
the restraining order against Williams. Victor was willing to work with her
again provided she did this.... Jack confided in Phyllis about how he'd once
gotten shot by his ex-wife Patty for "being a bastard." He didn't want to
have another romantic disaster. "I'd like to think I'm a better man now than
I was back then," he said.... MJ later told her cat that Victor was back on
her side again. She looked forward to having a happy ending with Jack.
Victor returned to the GCAC and met up with Ashley. They discussed baby
names and Ashley stated that she felt as if the baby were a girl.
Tuesday
Mary Jane assured Victor that she'd get the restraining order against Paul
removed. After, Victor and Nick met up at the GCAC to discuss Nick's reunion
with Sharon. Nick stated that he was kidding himself by thinking he was over
Sharon. Victor felt badly that Nick was doing to Sharon and Phyllis what
Victor had done to Nikki and Ashley. He reminded Nick that his children were
going to be affected by this. Nick insisted that he and Sharon belong
together.
At the GCAC, Devon played basketball. Tyra came by, but he ignored her
because he was still angry with her for lying about them being blood
relatives. Tyra explained that she did so because it was the only way for
her to keep Ana. Later, at the GCAC, Tyra told Neil about her problems with
Devon and suggested that she and Neil no longer see each other. Neil assured
her that she and Devon will be close again. At the basketball court, Devon
became angry as he thought about Tyra. He calmed down when Roxanne found him
and suggested they grab something to eat. However, when he leaned in to kiss
his girlfriend, he pictured Tyra's face.
At the Newman Ranch, Adam listened in as Ashley had Olivia feel her baby
kicking. Adam recalled how Dr. Taylor had explained to him how she was
having an hysterical pregnancy and it's up to Adam to stop it. Estella
came by the ranch and Ashley was furious to see her there. After, Adam again
listened to Sabrina's lecture online. Heather stopped by and asked why she'd
heard a woman's voice. Adam fibbed that he was listening to his Braille
lesson. He asked Heather to use her influence to get his ankle monitor
removed; when she hesitated, he angrily told her to just break up with him.
Heather relented and agreed to see if she could find a loophole.
Rafe came by the ranch and insisted that Estella never did anything to
Ashley. Adam eavesdropped as Rafe stated that the tape recorder found in
Estella's jacket was a plant. Estella insisted that she'd never hurt Ashley.
Rafe presented Ashley with proof that Estella isn't a liar Estella's lie
detector test, which she'd passed with flying colors. Ashley later wondered
to Adam if she'd made a mistake.
Heather happily informed Paul that Mary Jane decided to drop her restraining
order against him. Heather advised her father to stay clear of MJ,
regardless. MJ wondered to her stuffed cat if they'd seen the last of Paul.
Later, Mary Jane had a daydream where Paul came to her GCAC suite and reamed
her out for not telling people the truth about herself.
Lily offered to help Cane move a box of beer at Jimmy's bar, but he wouldn't
let her since they suspected that she might be pregnant. After, Lily met up
with Olivia at Crimson Lights. Liv told her that she wasn't pregnant.
Instead, Olivia informed her that she found an abnormality on Lily's pap
smear. Lily was upset that she wasn't going to be giving Cane good news. Liv
reminded Lily that she's young and has plenty of time to have a family with
Cane.
Cane wished to Katherine that Nina would stop hounding him about his past.
Kay apologized for Nina's actions and assured him that in the end, the truth
will win out. Meanwhile, Paul revealed to Nina that Violet Montgomery wasn't
in Genoa City at the time of Cane's birth. Nina concluded that Cane's story
about being born to Jill was a lie. Later, Kay asked Nina to leave Cane out
of her research, but Nina refused, especially given Paul's findings. Kay
argued that he doesn't want to discuss his past because Cane had a miserable
childhood. Nina called Cane a liar and didn't believe he was the real
Phillip. Kay didn't want to hear it.... Lily stopped by Jimmy's bar and
sadly told Cane that she's not pregnant. Cane also assured her that there
was no rush to start a family.
Neil suggested to Katherine that Jill take on the director of research and
development position at Chancellor, but Kay refused to let her have the job.
Later, Jill met with a job consultant at the GCAC and was upset when he told
her that he had no positions for her. Jill angrily flounced out of the
restaurant and refused to pick up the tab. After, Jill went to a local nail
salon and got a job there!
Adam flashed back to the night he scared Ashley into tumbling down the
stairs. His recording of Sabrina then got stuck. Downstairs, Ashley and
Victor heard Sabrina's voice; Victor walked in on Adam trying to stop it
from playing and demanded to know what he was doing.
Wednesday
Victor and Ashley walked into Adam's room, just as the recording of
Sabrina's lecture got stuck. Adam tried to stop it as Ashley realized that
that had been the voice she'd heard on the phone. Victor demanded to know
what his son was doing and asked if he was the one who's been tormenting
Ashley. Adam lied that he'd clicked on an e-mail which led to the recording.
Victor didn't buy it and accused Adam of being the one who's been
gaslighting Ashley. Adam begged Ashley to believe that he wouldn't hurt her,
but she didn't know what to think. Adam insisted that he was being framed.
"Are you playing me for a fool?" Victor growled. "Have you been gaslighting
Ashley?" "How stupid do you think I am?" Adam replied, reminding Victor that
he's blind and is wearing an ankle monitor. Victor reasoned that someone
could've helped him out. Adam pointed out that Heather would never help him
with such a scheme; he then insinuated that Estella was the one who was
doing it. Adam became indignant as he accused Victor of wanting him to be
guilty. Victor warned him that if he's behind it, he's going to be in big
trouble. Victor finally left and Adam breathed a huge sigh of relief.
Billy and Raul dined at the GCAC. Billy was disappointed when Raul said that
Mac couldn't join them since she was working. Raul revealed that he'd come
to the bar searching for Mac because Chloe had called him saying Mac needed
him. Billy then questioned Raul about his relationship with Mac; Raul
explained that over time, their friendship turned into something more. Billy
insisted that he's happy for his friend and admitted that things aren't
going well for him and Chloe.... At Crimson Lights, Mac confronted Chloe
about calling Raul. Chloe owned up to it, explaining that she just has
Cordelia's best interests at heart and wants her baby's father around.
After, Chloe took a seat at Mac's table and asked Mac why she has it so bad
for Billy when Raul is such a great guy. "The fantasy of Billy is one thing,
but the reality is another," Chloe said. Mac wasn't fazed as Chloe noted
that Billy won't change for anyone. "Think about that," Chloe advised.
Later, Mac asked Raul if they could talk and admitted that she hasn't been
honest with him. She said that though she loves him, she can't marry him and
took off his engagement ring. Raul was devastated. He urged Mac to give
marrying him some more thought and keep the ring... Billy asked Chloe if he
could see Delia, but she wouldn't give him a definite time when she could
bring by his daughter.
Victor found a shaken Ashley catching her breath outside. Of course, Adam
eavesdropped as she asked Victor if he was going to send Adam back to
prison. Victor didn't know. Ashley didn't think it was possible for Adam to
have masterminded the scheme. Victor still wasn't sure. Later, Adam made a
call to have a package delivered.
Lily and Cane got cozy in Jimmy's bar and joked about having a million kids.
Lily said she wanted two children, but Cane had a larger number in mind. He
was eager to have a family any way he could get it. He planned to take Jill
out to lunch, hoping that it would cheer his mother up. "Imagine if she
didn't have you in her life," said Lily.
At the nail salon, Jill had to deal with a nasty customer. Jill rolled her
eyes as the woman used Jill as a talk-to.... At the Chancellor Estate, Nina
noted that Katherine and Jill accepted Cane more readily than they'd
accepted Phillip III. "You don't know Cane," Kay said. "I don't want to know
Cane!" Nina shot back. Nina believed that Phillip would still be alive had
she faced the fact that he'd been drinking. Kay believed that this is why
she was so against Cane. Nina argued that she thought Cane was a con artist.
Just then, Jill returned home and reamed out Nina for challenging Cane's
identity. Nina didn't understand how Kay and Jill could trust him. Jill
accused her of being a liar and threatened to sue Nina if she included Cane
in her screenplay. Nina calmly revealed that she's having Phillip III's body
exhumed. Cane arrived and stated that Nina is obsessed. Kay implored Cane to
go home so she can handle things. Jill informed Nina that they'd already had
Phillip's body exhumed and the results showed that she wasn't his mother.
Nina revealed that what they find out about Phillip III could affect Phillip
IV.... Cane found an angry Billy working off his frustrations at the GCAC's
basketball court and joined him in a game. Chloe later agreed to set up a
visitation schedule with Billy for Delia.
Nina explained to Jill and Kay that Phillip IV might be suffering from a
fatal and hereditary illness called Huntington's Disease, and needed to find
out if Phillip III had the gene for it. Jill gave in and said that the lab
kept records of the last DNA test. Nina later made some calls to find out
about Phillip III's test and was told that they have no records of him,
not even a file with his name on it. Nina was determined to get to the
bottom of the situation.
Thursday
Jana and Daniel were worried that they were going to get arrested for
shooting Balfour and taking the case of money — even though they insisted
they were innocent. Amber tried to be reassuring, but alone she admitted to
Kevin that she was worried. Aucker soon came by with a warrant to search for
the cash in Amber and Daniel's place. Amber freaked out when the Feds picked
up a certain item of hers.
At the Chancellor Estate, Katherine was shocked when Nina got word that
there was no record of Phillip III's DNA test. Nina wondered why Jill was so
against her looking into it and investigating Cane. She revealed to Kay that
Violet wasn't in Genoa City when Cane was born. Next, Nina learned that the
doctor who performed Phillip III's autopsy was charged with falsifying
evidence. Jill still didn't want to believe that this had anything to do
with Cane.... At the bar, Cane left a desperate message for Langley. Lily
joined him and asked what was bothering him. Cane shared how while growing
up, he always longed for a close family. Lily reminded him that he now has
the Chancellors.
Nick and Sharon looked forward to house hunting... Daniel visited Phyllis at
Restless Style and called Nick some choice words. He then filled her in on
the forged painting drama. Phyllis begged him to stay out of trouble. They
discussed Summer and Phyllis sadly shared that the little girl wondered
where her dad was at night.
Jack and Mary Jane dined together at the GCAC. They were interrupted when
Phyllis called to tell him about Daniel. Just then Sharon came by the
restaurant; MJ apologized for being nasty to Sharon the last time they'd run
into each other. Sharon accepted her apology. MJ congratulated her on being
back together with Nick and wanted to make sure that Sharon and Jack were
over. Sharon wondered why she was so interested in her personal life; MJ
explained that she's dating Jack and didn't want to get too involved. Sharon
replied that she and Jack are friends. MJ commented on Nick and how it was
sad Phyllis wanted to be with a man who didn't want her; she thought back to
when she'd seen Jack and Phyllis together. She watched, annoyed, as Sharon
asked Jack if things were okay between them. Sharon reminded him that she
doesn't want him out of her life; Jack promised to be there if she needs
him. She then asked him what was going on with MJ; he replied that he's not
ready for anything meaningful with her.... Nick stopped by Restless Style to
pick up Summer. Phyllis tried to keep her cool as she gathered up their
daughter's things and reminded him that Summer has a peanut allergy. Nick
revealed that he and Sharon are looking for a new house. Phyllis didn't
think Summer was ready to go house hunting with her father and new
girlfriend. Nick argued that he wants her to feel as if she has a say in her
new home. Phyllis bristled when he noted that things would become more
stable.... Sharon advised Jack to let Mary Jane where their relationship
stands. "That woman is infatuated," Sharon pointed out.... At the magazine,
George suggested that Summer be on the cover. Phyllis wasn't sure, but gave
in. MJ came by and watched Nick admiring them as they posed for photos.
Daniel and Jana discussed the situation with Michael at Crimson Lights.
Daniel revealed that he'd touched the gun so his fingerprints were on it.
Jana stated that Aucker needed to be going after the person in the ski mask.
Michael later got word that a cell phone was found on the dead man, which
was registered to Balfour ... but that was the man's alias. Also, Daniel's
number and name was in the contact list.... The Feds came by to search
Crimson Lights and found the money there. Daniel and Jana were arrested.
Phyllis was horrified when she got the call about her son.
Nick canceled his plans with Sharon to take Phyllis to the station. MJ
watched Summer for her and assured the little girl that Nick would be back
with Phyllis. "I'm gonna make sure all the right people end up together," MJ
said.
Jill defended Cane to Nina. Nina pointed out that she didn't say Cane was
lying, just that something strange was going on. Jill noted that Cane had
given up his inheritance. Nina believed that someone didn't want them to
know who was really buried in the grave and insisted on having Phillip III's
body exhumed. Jill didn't understand why she wanted to drag his memory
through it. "It's not up to you," Nina snapped. Jill threatened to take her to
court. "I want to know who's in that coffin!" Nina yelled, explaining that
they need to find out if Phillip IV has Huntington's Disease. Jill relented
and said she'd allow the body to be exhumed for that test, but no other,
including DNA. Kay agreed with Jill. Jill called Cane and warned him about
the body being exhumed, but assured him that there would be no other DNA
test. Cane again left a message for Langley.... Nina made a call and secretly
ordered a second DNA test.
Friday
Paul and Nikki dined at the GCAC and gushed over the lasagna. Nikki was glad
that Mary Jane dropped the restraining order against him. Just then, MJ ran
into them and things became awkward as she said hello. Mary Jane took a seat
next to Paul and explained that she was stalked by a man three years before.
They were interrupted by Rafe, who asked Nikki if she could help him prove
Estella's innocence. Nikki felt badly and agreed to see what she could
do.... Paul continued his discussion with MJ, who explained that after she
was stalked, she'd changed her social security number. Paul was
understanding, but didn't understand why she was suddenly being friendly
toward him.
At the Newman Ranch, Adam apologized to Ashley for "accidentally" coming
upon the recording of Sabrina on his computer. Ashley didn't know what to
believe and asked not to talk about it. Adam sadly said that he thought they
were friends. Ashley demanded to be alone. Before leaving, Adam reminded her
that he's on her side.... Victor went to Adam's room and took a look at his
computer. Adam came upstairs and was surprised to find his father there. Vic
explained that he was checking out Adam's story about finding the e-mail
with the Sabrina recording. Meanwhile, Nikki stopped by and Ashley told her
that Olivia gave Dr. Taylor a good recommendation. Nikki was happy to hear
that, however, she really wanted to talk about Estella. Ashley insisted that
Estella doesn't like her. Nikki pointed out that all of the evidence against
Estella was probably planted and asked Ashley to consider the possibility
that someone else was behind all the pranks — like Adam.... Adam was furious
that Victor was invading his privacy. Victor noted that he gave up his right
to privacy after Adam forged a diary and framed Vic for murder. Victor then
asked why his son always kept his door locked; Adam explained that he didn't
want people walking in while he was with Heather. Victor demanded that he
keep his door unlocked. Adam asked if Victor just wanted him to go back to
jail. Victor calmly replied that he'll do anything to protect Ashley and the
baby, and if Adam didn't like it, he'd send him back to prison. Adam said he wanted to go back to prison if Victor was going to treat him like a prisoner. Victor called his bluff, and handed Adam the phone and suggested he inform Heather. Adam backed down.
Victor then told him that another expert is coming to examine his eyes, but
Adam didn't want to meet with him. "What kind of a game are you playing with
me?" Victor growled, getting right in his face. "Be careful, boy," he
warned.
At Jimmy's, Lily wondered why Cane seemed so worried. She stated that his
fear about losing his family was irrational. After, Cane called Jill and
asked about Phillip III's body being exhumed. He was upset when she informed
him that it was already happening; Jill reminded him that Phillip IV's
health was at risk. After Jill hung up, she regarded a photo of Phillip III
and apologized to it. Katherine joined her in the Chancellor Estate living
room and Jill confided in her about how much it still hurts to have lost
Phillip III. She vowed to protect him, as well as Cane.... Cane continued to
leave frantic messages for Langley. Lily suspected that he was keeping
something from her.... Nina stated that Phillip was the love of her life.
Jill snarked that Nina probably said that to all of her husbands. Kay tried
to play peacekeeper and reminded them that the body is being exhumed because
Phillip IV needed all of them working together. "He is not your great
grandson," Jill yelled at Kay. Kay insisted that he is. Katherine then came
to the difficult realization that Nina could be asking questions they
should've asked about Cane.... Cane admitted to Lily that he's scared about
the exhumation. "Every time I hear them talk about that man in the grave, a
little bit of me dies," he lamented.... Nina filled in Paul on what was
going on with the exhumation. She asked if he could arrange for her to be
there when the casket is opened and revealed that she'd ordered a DNA test.
She was certain that Cane is a fraud.
Victor came downstairs and was surprised to find Nikki there. She defended
Estella, noting how loyal and kind she'd always been toward the family. "We
can't say the same for Adam," she reminded them. When Ashley pointed out
that he was blind and had an ankle monitor, Nikki replied that he could've
had an accomplice. Victor assured her that he was looking into it....
Upstairs, Adam called Dr. Taylor and asked for more Botox. Later, Adam
called to track the package that he'd asked to have delivered. However, he
hung up when it arrived. Victor retrieved the box, which was addressed to
Ashley from a Jane Smith. Ashley opened it.... and found the severed head of
the baby that was part of the Sabrina sculpture.
Paul offered to go with Nina when the body is exhumed. Nina planned to test
the DNA sample against one of Jill's belongings. He wondered why she thought
Cane was an impostor; Nina explained that his story just seemed so crazy.
Paul noted that Cane didn't seem to be after the cash and that his wife,
Lily, was a good judge of character. Nina argued that if Cane was innocent,
then no harm was done in her checking out his background.... Lily encouraged
Cane to discuss his past with her, but he wasn't eager to. She then
presented him with a Father's Day gift (even though she wasn't yet
pregnant). It was new baseball gloves which he could use when he played with
their future child.... Jill later called Cane and informed him that Violet
had been in a hospital in Arizona the night Kay did the baby switch. She
asked if he could get in touch with Langley so they could get more
information. MJ happened to be at the bar and saw how upset Cane was. She
encouraged him to be a fighter like her.... Nina and Paul went to the
morgue and stood before Phillip III's coffin. Nina sadly remembered the day
they buried him.... Jill also thought back to Phillip III's death and how
she'd blamed Kay. Kay asked Jill why she didn't believe she loved her when
Jill still loved Phillip III, who was not her biological son. "How can you
say you love me when you took everything away from me?" Jill asked.
At the bar, Cane opened up a safe and regarded his passport.... At the
morgue the coffin was opened and was filled with sandbags! Nina fainted.
