At the Chancellor Estate barbecue, everyone was ready to skewer Cane when he revealed that he'd lied about being the real Phillip III. An alive Phillip
III then arrived and blamed himself for the situation; a stunned Katherine
collapsed. Jill just stood there, speechless, as she eyed her long-lost son.
Neil called an ambulance while Cane stood over her and kept apologizing.
Jill and Nina approached Phillip and tried to make sense of everything.
"It's you, isn't it?" Nina said. "It's me," he replied, apologizing for causing everyone so much pain. Meanwhile, the EMTs arrived to take Kay to the hospital. Phillip disappeared into the house.
Billy and Mackenzie were about to make love in their room at the G.C.A.C.,
but were interrupted when both got cell phone calls about what was going on
at the party. Esther and Chloe filled in Mac and Billy, respectively about
Phillip returning and Kay collapsing. Both hurried to the estate. Meanwhile,
Nina demanded that Cane get Phillip back there. Neil questioned Cane about
how he managed to fake the DNA test; Cane explained how Phillip gave him his
frozen blood. Nina was horrified.... Olivia tended to Kay at the hospital,
where she was joined by Jill and Murphy. Liv reported that Kay had a stroke.
Jill told Olivia about what had happened with Cane and Phillip. Liv was
shocked and concerned about how Lily was taking the news. Kay wondered if
she'd had a dream, but Jill confirmed it. She tried to calm Kay as Kay
yelled about how Phillip's been dead for 20 years. Murphy went into the
hallway, where Phillip was waiting. Phil insisted that he didn't mean anyone
any harm. "It's a little late now," Murphy growled. Murphy called Nina to
come to the hospital.
Cane tried to explain himself to Lily, but Neil wouldn't let him speak. Lily
wanted to hear what he had to say, though. Nina went to the hospital and
confronted Phil. Kay yelled for them to tell her what was going on — or
else. Phillip, Jill and Nina entered her room so they could all talk. "You
may look like him and you may have cooked up this terrible scheme with Cane,
but you are not our Phillip," Kay stated. "I am," he insisted. "I watched my
son die," Jill recalled. Phillip agreed that his life as Phillip III ended
that day and he then took off for Australia after faking his death.... At
the estate, Cane told Lily that he never knew his father and his mom died as
a little boy. Phillip was his "uncle" Langley, but they weren't really
related. Cane swore that he meant every word when he said how much he loved
Lily and his family. Lily asked why he'd talked her out of planning a trip
to Australia; he explained that he finally had everything he'd missed out on
and didn't want to go back. Cane hoped Lily could eventually forgive him and
insisted that he wasn't lying when he said he loved her. Lily reminded him
how he'd promised her that the test would prove he's Phillip and has lied to
her many times. "You only came clean when you realized you had no other
choice than to tell the truth," she spat. Cane tried to come after her, but
Neil blocked him and demanded that Cane stay away from his daughter. Billy
then arrived and punched Cane hard in the face. "That's from all of us, you
son of a bitch," Billy snarled.
At the hospital, Phillip recalled to Jill, Kay and Nina how he thought he
could help them heal and help Cane out by "giving" them a replacement....
Mac joined Murphy in the lobby and mused that Billy and Cane had so much
friction between them because Billy had sensed that something was off about
his "brother".... Phillip insisted to the women that Cane wasn't malicious.
Jill still couldn't believe that the man standing before her was Phillip.
Nina was sure of it, though. They began to argue until Kay stopped them.
Phil stated that his decision to fake his death was "complicated" and that
the accident where he "died" wasn't actually an accident. He recalled how
stressed out and trapped he felt because he was married and a father. He got
drunk, then drove until he was feeling at peace. Jill concluded that he'd
been suicidal. "I woke up in the hospital and was so surprised to be alive
that I started to make 'arrangements,' " he explained. Nina realized that
the cop who'd been in the ambulance with him helped him out; Phillip
confirmed that that cop and one of the doctors needed money, so he paid them
to assist him in his plan. Jill broke down as she tried to explain the agony
they'd experienced over his "death." Phil replied that he was a teenager
when all of this happened. Kay wouldn't excuse him for making them suffer
for 20 years. "Were you trying to punish us?" Jill asked. Nina angrily
wondered how he could walk away from his own son.
Neil took Lily home and tried to comfort her, to no avail. "I wish I knew
what to say," he sighed. Devon arrived and found Lily in tears. After, Lily
and Neil discussed how it had taken a long time for him to accept Cane. Lily
couldn't believe that they'd all been duped by him.
Chloe asked Cane if he'd used the frozen blood for Delia's paternity test.
Cane confirmed that that's exactly what he'd done and that he knew from the
get-go that Billy was Delia's father. Chloe wondered why he went along with
the ruse when his relationship with Lily had been at stake; Cane replied
that he was desperate to remain with the Chancellors. Esther joined them in
telling Cane off for taking advantage of them. Cane stated that Jill had to
fill the void with him because her relationship with Billy was so troubled.
An enraged Billy threw Cane out of the yard.... Cane came by to get his
things and ran into Devon. Devon didn't even want to associate with him.
Devon brought home some of Lily's clothes, as well as Humphrey the dog.
At the estate, Billy noted that he may have lost one half brother, but now
has another one lined up. Mac returned home and told him, Chloe and Esther
that Kay suffered a mini stroke — and that Phillip is at the hospital. Mac
wasn't sure how things were going with him; Billy replied that with Nina,
Jill and Kay, Phillip was probably wishing he were dead. Mac sadly watched
as Billy and Chloe hovered over Delia and bonded as a family.
Nina was screaming at Phillip for abandoning Phillip IV. "How could you do
this to your son?" she asked. "I did it for him," he said. "You're so full
of crap!" she screamed. Phil argued that he wouldn't have been a good father
had he been alcoholic and depressed — and that he would've resented
everyone. He then apologized for saying that. Before he headed out, he
promised not to disappear again. Nina noted that they were once again
sitting in a hospital filled with pain and rage and guilt, just like the
night they "lost" Phillip.
Cane came to the hospital to check on Kay and ran into Phillip. "What the
hell are you doing here?" Cane asked Phil.
Tuesday
Heather met with Michael, Phyllis and Nick at the tack house. Heather
explained that when an accusation of Munchausen by Proxy syndrome is made
the D.A.'s office has to take it seriously. Phyllis became upset and again
insisted that she did not purposefully give Summer peanut cookies. Next,
Heather questioned Nick and Phyllis about their marital difficulties and
noted that this is often a factor in Munchausen cases. Phyllis replied that
Summer's medical records are clean. Nick demanded to know who filed the
report, but Heather said she couldn't say. Phyllis accused Heather of
looking for a headline-grabbing case rather than looking for the truth.
Heather calmly reminded Phyllis that there were peanut cookies in the
office. Phyllis explained that she threw out the cookies and gave Summer a
shot as soon as she found her daughter unconscious. Heather asked where Nick
was at the time; Nick said that he was with Sharon waiting to get the
paternity test for Sharon's baby. Heather insinuated that Phyllis was
looking for attention because Nick was starting a new family with another
woman. She then offered to get Phyllis help if Phyllis's confesses. Phyllis
tossed Heather out. Michael confronted Heather outside; Heather said she's
not pressing charges, but is going to find out what happened. Michael
insisted that what happened to Summer was an accident, but Heather wasn't so
sure. Michael went back inside and told Phyllis and Nick that he'd do
everything he could to arrange it so that she could see her daughter. After
Michael left, Phyllis begged Nick to stay with her. "Who hates me that
much?" Phyllis wondered. Nick mused that someone at the hospital, like a
nurse, overheard her say something. Nick promised to be with her until
Summer comes home. "And after?" Phyllis asked. Nick admitted that he hadn't
thought that far ahead.
In her G.C.A.C. suite, Mary Jane told her kitty that she had no reason to
worry about Phyllis anymore, but felt badly about Summer. "But now her mommy
won't have any time to chase after Jack," MJ reasoned. She then drew a "get
well" poster for Summer that featured a drawing of a special someone on it.
After, Heather met with Mary Jane at Crimson Lights and assured MJ that no
one would find out that she was the one who reported Phyllis's "abuse." MJ
pretended to be grateful.... Later, Phyllis and Nick went to the hospital,
where they were aghast that a guard was outside Summer's room. Mary Jane
called to see how Phyllis was doing and was pleased to hear that Nick was
with her.
Neil did his best to comfort Lily after they learned that Cane's an
impostor. Neil promised his daughter that her family would help her through
this. After Neil went to sleep, Lily quietly left the house.
At the hospital, Nina, Jill and Murphy sat with Katherine and discussed
Phillip III being alive. Nina had mixed feelings. Kay was numb. Jill called
her son being alive a "miracle" and reminded Nina that Phillip IV now had a
father. Nina replied that Phillip III and Cane had to answer for
orchestrating their scheme. Jill accused Nina of wanting everyone to
fight.... Meanwhile in the hospital lobby, an angry Cane demanded to know
why Phillip came home. Phillip explained that he didn't want Cane to take
the fall alone and that Cane knew the risks when he took over his life.
"It's my life!" Cane exploded. Nina came outside and asked them to be quiet
for Kay's sake.... Cane asked Jill and Kay for his forgiveness. "You have a
lot of nerve," Kay said angrily. "You left an entire family brokenhearted."
She demanded that he leave; he did as Jill's eyes filled with tears. Jill
wondered how she could've been so wrong about Cane; Kay concluded that she
was desperate for a second chance with her son. Kay thought Phillip was
cruel for orchestrating the identity switch. "I loved Phillip like he was my
own and for him to treat me this way, I don't know if I can get past it,"
she said. "Phillip was right; we needed Cane," Jill said. Kay stated that
she and Jill needed to stay strong together, especially when they had to
tell Phillip IV that his father's alive.
Cane went home and found Lily waiting for him. She angrily reminded him how
she hates when people lie to her because she has trust issues. "How could
you let me fall in love with another liar?" she cried. Cane insisted that
though he lied about his identity, he was still himself. Lily stated that
Cane chose to keep his secret over her. He believed that he would've lost
Lily anyway. "You were only protecting yourself!" Lily yelled. "I did it all
for you," Cane argued, noting that he kept the secret because he feared that
if the truth had come out, she wouldn't love him anymore.... Neil woke up
and realized that Lily went to see Cane. He stormed over to Cane's house and
banged on the door. Meanwhile, Cane tried to talk to Lily and put his arm on
her. Neil barged in and told Cane to never touch his daughter again or else
he'd have Cane thrown in jail. Before leaving with Neil, Lily gave Cane her
wedding band and engagement rings. Cane was heartbroken.
Nina and Phillip went to the Chancellor Estate. Phil admitted that he felt
as if he were trespassing, but Nina reminded him that he belonged there. She
then noted that his death changed all of them. He explained that he thought
being out of their lives would be better for them. Nina became angry when he
didn't want to answer her questions. "Maybe you're the one who hasn't
changed," she sighed. He followed Nina out to the garden and agreed to hear
her queries. First, she wanted to know how he left the hospital half alive.
He explained that he planned some of it ahead of time and had stashed some
money away, as well as a fake passport. She called him a coward. "It wasn't
a question of going or staying, it was a question of going or dying," he
said, adding that he'd begged the doctor to help him escape. Nina bristled
on the word "escape." Phil revealed that the doc rigged the machines to make
him appear dead and signed his death certificate, and then the cop took him
to the airport. He chose to go to Sydney because it was the furthest place
away from Genoa City that he could think of. "Didn't you love us at all?"
Nina asked. "I thought about you and our son all the time," he said, adding
that he felt as if having Cane "be" him would make everyone happy. He then
went on about how he had to "face his truths." Nina didn't understand what
he meant. "What was so awful that you couldn't talk to us about?" she asked,
believing that he was ashamed because of his drinking. "I was acting a
part," he went on. "I felt trapped.... in my own skin. This is about a truth
that I've been hiding this whole time. I'm gay." Nina was speechless.
Wednesday
At the hospital, Nikki and Victor watched over Summer in her hospital room. Rafe entered looking for Victor, who had summoned him. Rafe was concerned that Victor had found out about his rendezvous with Adam, but instead, Victor demanded that Rafe find the prison thugs who had attacked Adam and stuck needles in his eyes. Meanwhile, outside Summer's room, Nick was comforting Phyllis. Noah and Daniel arrived and were shocked to discover that Nick and Phyllis were not allowed to enter Summer's room. They were appalled when they heard how Phyllis had been accused of hurting her own daughter. They entered Summer's room and sat by her bedside. Noah and Daniel discussed how they could protect her and what a strong little girl she was.
Sharon arrived at the hospital, and Phyllis and Daniel were hostile towards her. She explained that she was simply concerned about Summer. Rafe exited the room to find Noah, and asked him if he was still interested in filing the emancipation papers. Noah replied that it wasn't a good time. Nick shared with Sharon that he was devastated about losing his baby daughter and now he felt his son slipping way too. Phyllis interrupted them, saying that she needed to get away; to get some air. Sharon offered to follow her and talk to her. Although Nick was concerned that she wasn't the right person to do so, Sharon replied that she might be the only one who could. She went to the hospital chapel to find Phyllis, who allowed Sharon to stay and talk. Phyllis questioned Sharon about how she managed to watch Cassie fight for her life in a hospital bed. Sharon advised her that the most important thing was to never give up hope. Phyllis reminisced about the day that "Supergirl" was born and how big her dreams had been for her daughter. Sharon begged her to hold onto those dreams. They touched hands for a moment. As they talked about Phyllis' fear and frustration, Mary Jane arrived and began eavesdropping. She overheard Sharon tell Phyllis that everyone knew she was innocent and that she should focus on being there for Summer any way she could.
Sharon and Phyllis went back to Summer's room together. Sharon asked Phyllis to remember what she had said in the chapel. Phyllis asked Sharon to do her a favor. Sharon agreed, and entered Summer's room. She sat beside the little girl and delivered a message from Phyllis. She began singing "Beautiful Dreamer", the song Phyllis had sung to Summer as a baby. Nick and Phyllis looked on from outside the window. Phyllis mouthed the words to the song with tears streaming down her face.
Nikki brought Nick a cup of coffee and offered her support. Nick informed her that Sharon's baby wasn't his, and shared how devastated he was. Despite being shocked to hear that Nick had possibly been the father, she reassured him that she would be there for him. She told him how important it was that he remains strong and not loses focus, for Summer's sake. After Nikki left, Victor came over to talk to Nick. He stated that he wished he could make all the pain go away for him. He implored his son not to give up hope. "Things do move forward, son. Be happy with what you do have." Nick said he wasn't sure how to do that.
Noah, Daniel and Amber gathered at the coffeehouse later and discussed how sad the Summer situation was. Noah shared that he was about to add to the complication by filing for emancipation. Daniel warned Noah that it not a smart thing to do, but Amber said that she understood where he was coming from. Daniel tried to make Noah see how difficult it would be to live alone with absolutely no help from anyone. Noah explained that he just wanted to see Eden with no hassles. Daniel countered that he DID have Eden and that he could focus on her, and forget about the emancipation. Daniel pulled Amber into a hug and told Noah that when he found the perfect person that he could really believe in, nothing else would matter anyway. Daniel advised Noah to just "skip the lawyer" and call him when he needed to talk. They hugged. After Noah left, Daniel told Amber how happy he was with her, and that he knew he could always count on her. Amber looked uneasy.
In her suite at the GCAC, Mary Jane was talking to Kitty. "Who knew a peanut butter-laced kiss could cause so much trouble for a little girl and her family?" she lamented. "I didn't want to hurt her, but Phyllis gave me no choice. That man-eater had to be stopped!" She went to the hospital to visit Summer, and ran into Victor. He demanded that she leave the hospital and never bother Summer again. She burst into tears and grabbed Victor into an embrace, but Victor remained steadfast. MJ returned to the GCAC and stole a key to Sharon's room from the maid's cart. Once in Sharon's suite, she pulled out Victor's wallet that she had swiped, and stuffed it under Sharon's mattress. She muttered to herself that she was determined to keep Sharon away from Jack. "Sorry, Sharon," she growled. "I've lost Jack to sluts like you before, and it's not going to happen again." After, when MJ returned to her own room, she found Victor waiting for her. He was holding her "My Enemies" scrapbook. He demanded to know what she was up to.
At the Newman ranch, Adam was in his room practicing his speech in which he would tell Rafe that he had been wrong to come on to him, and that it would never happen again. Rafe arrived, and explained that Victor had asked him to investigate the prison assault. Rafe wondered why none of the prison reports ever mentioned being stabbed in the eyes with hypodermic needles. Adam asked if he was accusing him of lying. He claimed that he was harassed and that the guards forced him to file a report, so he did, but was too scared to name his attackers. Rafe demanded to know what Adam was hiding, because his story just wasn't adding up. Adam claimed that he didn't want to talk about it anymore ... that he was too busy thinking about how happy he was about the way things were going with Rafe. He tried to pull Rafe into a kiss, but Rafe pulled back and demanded to know how stupid Adam thought he was. Adam covered by saying that his feelings for Rafe "scared" him; that he had never been with a man before. Adam demanded that Rafe leave, but Rafe turned back to Adam instead. They began to kiss passionately. Nikki entered the Ranch looking for a bag of Victor's clothes. She went upstairs to ask Adam where they could be, and got an eyeful at his door when she spied him with Rafe.
Thursday
Mary Jane found Victor in her hotel suite, holding her "Wall of Enemies" collage. He demanded to know what she was doing with it. She lied that it was a thing she did to focus on her goals and became enraged when he took it. Victor demanded that she leave town. She insisted that she needs another chance to "take care" of Jack. Victor wouldn't give it to her and told her to get lost. "You're crazy," he sneered. "If I refuse?" she asked. "I wouldn't contemplate that if I were you," he warned.
At the Abbott mansion, a pregnant Sharon spoke aloud about her decision to lie that Jack is the father of her unborn baby. She thought back to all that Nick and Phyllis are dealing with with a comatose Summer, and decided that not telling Nick that he's the father is the right decision.
Jack visited a "pregnant" Ashley at the Newman Ranch and spoke to his sister's belly. Ashley worried why the baby was being so "quiet" lately; Jack reasoned that she was just resting. Adam eavesdropped and flashed back to when he caused Ashley to fall down the stairs and miscarry her child. Ash asked if Jack and Sharon are back together; Jack replied that they're not, but he's still going to be involved in the baby's life. Jack bristled when Ashley credited Adam for helping to make things better for her at the ranch; after she stepped away, he and Jack traded barbs. Jack believed that Adam was orchestrating a plot to get revenge on him for not having done any jail time for the forged diary. Jack warned him that he'd better not try to hurt Ashley as a way to get back at him. Later, Ashley confided to Adam that she's concerned because she hasn't felt the baby kick for quite a while. Adam panicked when Ashley stated that she was going to get a sonogram to see if the baby was okay. After, Adam called Dr. Taylor for help.
Victoria met up with Nikki at the hospital, where Nikki was waiting for news on Summer. Nikki revealed to her daughter that when she'd stopped by the ranch earlier, she saw Rafe and Adam kissing. Both were concerned about the way Victor would react to this. Nikki concluded that this is why Adam is always so distant and sympathized with the pressure he must be under. Victoria wondered if Heather knew. Nikki feared that Adam was using Rafe and planned to talk to Victor. Victoria wasn't sure it was a good idea for Nikki to out Adam to him. Victor joined them at the hospital and Victoria thanked her parents for not giving up on her when she'd been in a coma. She urged them to continue fighting for Summer.
At Crimson Lights, Amber had Kevin turn on the radio, where a show was playing the speech Kevin had made at the high school. Jana then found the speech online and was proud of Kevin for being such an inspiration. Daniel complained that he couldn't access the call log on Balfour's cell phone. Kevin called the phone company, pretending to be Balfour. When someone called the phone, Amber implored the guys not to answer it, but Daniel answered it anyway and asked who was calling. The person hung up. Meantime, Kevin got the caller's address.... A young man met with another person whose face we couldn't see. The mystery person instructed the young man to get rid of Daniel. The mystery man then asked his assistant for the painting Daniel had forged, and he gave it to him. Later, Daniel went to the address that had called — and found Amber snooping around there, as well. Amber wanted to leave, but Daniel wanted to look around. He found a flash drive with some photos and went to download them in the computer. Amber then found a photo of the Terroni painting and concluded that someone was trying to set up Daniel.... Jana encouraged Kevin to deliver more speeches. He was then approached by two G.C. High teens who gave him money so he could continue giving talks. Kevin eyed the $200 and contemplated marketing "Silver Chipmunk" merchandise; Jana implored him to return the money to the kids.
Heather arrived at the hospital and ran into Nikki. Nikki asked if she could get some off-the-record quotes from her about a court case for Restless Style, then slyly asked what Heather would do if the defendant's lawyer was involved with a suspect. Heather replied that she'd try to play by the book but it was difficult to answer without knowing all of the facts. She added that being open with information was usually the best policy.... Victoria sat and read a modern fairytale to Summer. Victor joined her in the
hospital room; Victoria admitted that though things are going well in her life, she's feeling emotional. She told Summer how much she misses her. Later, Nikki and Victor sat with the little girl. Nikki asked him if he's noticed that Victoria has been moody; she then told him that there was something he should know about Adam. She was about to tell him about Adam and Rafe, but Victor then got a call from his guard saying that MJ was nowhere to be found.
Mary Jane interrupted Jack's meeting with a Jabot contact at the G.C.A.C. She told Jack that she has to leave town; he demanded to know why. "I don't want to leave, but I have to," she explained, adding that she's in love with him. Jack was stunned. "I love you with all my heart," she stated. Jack stammered that he's flattered, but didn't say he loves her in return. MJ was upset as she concluded that he'd used her. He reminded her that he'd always
been honest about their relationship not being serious. MJ stated that Sharon will never love him and accused him of leading her on. Jack denied it. MJ insisted that Jack loves her back, but doesn't yet realize it. Sharon arrived at the bar, just in time to see MJ running off in tears. Jack acknowledged that Sharon was right and Mary Jane was more into him than he'd thought. "The only woman I'm interested in is the woman carrying my child," he told Sharon. Later, MJ vowed to herself never to give up on Jack.... A maid at the G.C.A.C. found Victor's wallet stuck in the mattress in Sharon's suite.
Victoria went to the club to meet with the mystery person. "Mr. Sharpe," she said, greeting the man. "Please call me Deacon," he replied.
Friday
Amber told Jana that she and Daniel found a photo of a Terroni painting and a flash drive in the office that was the address Kevin got from the dead guy's cell phone. Daniel was trying to get a look at the pics on the drive. Amber was worried because the matches they found were from a club in LA owned by a guy she used to know. Amber added that this guy was obsessed with her. She remembered her past with Deacon who always tried to get her to let her bad girl out. Amber told her friend that she and Deacon had fought over the custody of a baby fathered by Deacon. Amber didn't want to talk about Deacon but added "I'm not totally blameless." Amber was relieved that it wasn't her photo on that flash drive. They wondered if that was the real or the forged
Terroni. They decided to ask Victoria for her opinion. Amber told
Jana that Daniel could never find out about Deacon. Seconds later Victoria introduced Deacon to Daniel.
Amber turned pale as a ghost when she saw Deacon. Daniel introduced them. Deacon had a meeting across town and left.
Deacon met Victoria and they discussed art and specifically the forged Terroni. Victoria didn't want Deacon discussing the missing painting because she didn't want any scandal associated with the art collection. Deacon said he had met Sabrina once. Deacon assured Victoria that the Koons was real.
Nick was glad to hear Katherine was on the mend. Phyllis brought Summer the doll she had wanted before she got sick. Phyllis admitted to being somewhat of a mess. Nikki reminded the parents that there was always somebody by Summer's side telling her that her parents love her. Phyllis was frustrated that she couldn't be next to her daughter and that people thought she could
actually hurt Summer. Phyllis admitted she thought it odd that Mary Jane had been by Summer's side. Paul explained that Mary Jane had a restraining order filed against him. Phyllis thought it was time they investigate Mary Jane. Victor asked Paul if there were any new developments in who might have accused Phyllis. Paul thought it was Mary Jane. Paul said, "There's something about her that seems off."
Nick and Phyllis learned that Mary Jane had checked out of her room. The maid told them she had orders not to open drawers or closets. Nick gave her a tip and looked around. Nikki found a photo of Summer under the bed. Phyllis wondered what kind of freak Mary Jane was.
Nikki told Victor about the photo they had found. Victor sighed. Heather's no comment lead Phyllis, Nikki and Nick believe that Mary Jane had been the one who had accused Phyllis of hurting Summer. Phyllis announced that Mary Jane is the one who had given Summer those cookies. Phyllis felt awful and then, to her delight, Summer woke up. Nikki sobbed with joy. Paul reported
that Heather suspended the investigation. Nikki and Paul speculated about Mary Jane Benson. Paul said he couldn't find one person who worked with her or knew her. Paul added that Victor was keeping him from doing more investigation. Paul wanted to head to Europe.
Adam ignored a call (that Heather saw) from Rafe. Adam suggested to Mary Jane that they should help each other. Mary Jane told Adam that if Victor found her there he'd put her on a plane ASAP. Adam said Victor wouldn't be home for hours. Adam tried to get Mary Jane to open up. Adam found a place for Mary Jane to hide on the estate — the old potting shed. "I think this may be the start of a beautiful friendship," he said.
