Monday
At the Newman Ranch, Ashley sobbed to Victor about how she'd had a nightmare in which Sabrina tried to take the baby. Victor urged her not to worry anymore. Adam joined them and tried to calm her down, but Ashley was still shaken up. After, Victor insisted that Sabrina is dead. He kept saying it, even though Ashley didn't really want to listen to him. She became angry and stated that she's seen her. He asked her to follow him and took her downstairs. He then handed her a folder full of articles and obituaries about her death. Ashley was afraid to look at them, but Victor was determined that she do so. He became tearful as he recalled being right there when Sabrina died. Ashley finally seemed to believe that Sabrina was indeed dead.
At the tack house, Phyllis packed her and Summer's things so they could go to Switzerland, where Summer was getting medical treatments. She kept telling Summer how much fun it would be, not mentioning the treatments. Summer was just concerned about taking her stuffed bunny with her. Phyllis called Nick to see where Summer's passport was.
Meanwhile, Nick stopped by the mental hospital and overheard Sharon tell Doris that he's the father of her unborn child. He flat-out asked Sharon if what he heard was correct. She denied it, but he didn't believe her. Sharon gave in and admitted that she is indeed pregnant with Nick's baby. He was furious with her for keeping the truth from him. She explained that she had her reasons. Nick stated that he can't walk away now that he knows the truth, and that he wasn't going to lie to Phyllis. He was about to leave to meet up with his wife, but then the mental ward was put under lockdown because a patient escaped.
At the church, Patty ran off. Paul was furious that the cops violated
sanctuary and that she'd disappeared. Jack tried to help him figure out how she'd escaped. Chance and Paul continued to argue about her. One of the cops then noted that two nuns recently left together; Jack concluded that Patty dressed up as a nun and left with an accomplice. Chance put an APB on Patty; Paul tried to attack Chance and was promptly arrested. As Paul sat in handcuffs, he told Jack that he believed Patty and Victor shared a connection. Jack agreed that it made sense. Later, Jack filled in Phyllis on Mary Jane being Patty and told her about Patty saying that she had to "kiss" Summer after eating peanut cookies. Phyllis recalled Mary Jane being in her office and kissing Summer good-bye — and was horrified as she realized that MJ tried to murder Summer. She became hysterical as she blamed Patty for Summer's condition. Jack shared how he and Paul believe Victor was behind her coming to Genoa City. Phyllis wasn't sure what to think about it and was furious at the thought that it was Jack's rivalry with Victor that may have caused harm to her child. She begged Jack to leave before Nick came home. Later, Phyllis called Nick and asked when he was coming home. Nick explained that he was stuck at the hospital, but had something to tell her. Phyllis asked him to meet her and Summer at the airport, but the signal was lost. The lights in the mental ward then went out.
Gloria and Patty both sat in the back of Jeffrey's getaway car, dressed as nuns. Patty continued to snuggle with her new cat, Kitty Kitty, and recognized the Bardwells from Crimson Lights. She asked who they were, and Glo replied that they're her guardian angels. Patty didn't believe that Jack would betray her; the Bardwells smiled and nodded in agreement. Jeff was confused by the fact that Gloria kept calling Mary Jane, "Patty." Glo whispered to him that MJ was really Paul's sister. Patty asked if they could drop off her and the cat at the nearest bus station, but Jeff replied that he felt it would be safer for her if they went further out of town. Patty regretted running out on Jack, but Gloria assured her that Jack wanted her to be safe. The Bardwells then bickered over where to make the next turn. Patty begged them to pull over so she could get food for the cat, but they wouldn't listen. She became panicked as she realized they were in a deserted area. She leaned over and tried to grab the wheel from Jeff; Gloria promised her that they'd get the cat food, then remembered she had a can of tuna in her purse. Later, they overheard Jack offer $2 million for Patty to be brought home. Patty believed that this meant Jack really loves her and wants her back.
Adam went to check on Ashley. "Why would you want to make me think that Sabrina was alive?" she asked. When he couldn't answer, she became angry and kicked him out of her room.
Tuesday
At Cane and Lily's place, a sick Lily argued with Cane in front of Mac. When Cane stepped out, Lily confided that the chemo is making her feel ill, and that in her state of mind she's finding it more difficult to forgive Cane for having lied to her. Mac understood and revealed that things with Billy aren't so great, either.
Billy asked Jack if he got any leads about Mary Jane/Patty, but he hadn't. Meantime, Gloria and Jeffrey brought Patty and Kitty Kitty to the Abbott cabin. Patty concluded that Jack was going to meet her there so they could get married. The Bardwells pretended that this was indeed so. Jeff then took Patty's photo and looked forward to getting Jack's reward of $2 million.
At the mental hospital, a frustrated Nick anxiously stayed in Sharon's room as the hospital was under lockdown. They discussed Noah and agreed that their son could transfer to Walnut Grove. Nick wished he could meet up with Phyllis and Summer at the airport because he wanted to tell Phyllis that he's the father of Sharon's baby. Sharon encouraged him to wait until his wife returned from Switzerland. He again insisted on being a part of the baby's life, but Sharon said she didn't need his help. He became angry and demanded to be a father to his daughter; she replied that she's not going to deny him his rights. "You not only lied to me, but did it on the heels of Summer being in a coma," he began, then realized that Sharon had lied because she knew Summer needed him. Sharon didn't want him to regard her as being noble and implored him to continue focusing on Phyllis and Summer.
At the Newman Ranch, Phyllis and Summer stopped by to say good-bye to Victor. Phyllis broke down as she admitted that Summer wasn't doing so well — and it was all Patty's fault. She noted that Vic didn't seem very shocked at the mention of Patty's name. "Why is that, Victor?" she asked. He replied that he learned about MJ being Patty from J.T. She asked if Victor brought Patty to town, and he denied it. They were interrupted when Noah arrived. Victor then asked where she got the idea about him and Patty, and she explained that this is what Jack believes. Newman reminded her that Jack is out to get him and would make anything up. Later, Noah and Victor became alarmed when Phyllis revealed that Nick was stuck in the psych ward with Sharon. Noah didn't blame her for being freaked out about Nick and Sharon being together. They agreed that they wanted them to get their acts together so no one would get hurt; Phyllis said that all she could do was control her own actions.... Adam approached Noah and said he was sorry to hear about Sharon. Noah wasn't anxious to talk to him, though.
At the Abbott cabin, Gloria successfully found the key and let Jeff and Patty in. Patty headed to the bedroom so she could find materials to make a wedding gown. Patty and Jeff argued over whether they should call Victor or Jack, with Jeff wanting Jack since he was offering more money. Patty interrupted them and showed them a sheet which she intended to turn into a veil.... Victor called Jeff and implored him to find Patty. At the cabin, the Bardwells flipped a coin and it turned up in Jeff's favor. He went down the road to use his cell phone, but his service had been suspended. Patty continued to walk around with her "veil" over her head.
At Crimson Lights, Billy was ready to blame Victor for bringing Patty to town, but Jack didn't want him confronting Newman. He explained that first, they had to find Patty before Victor did — and then they could use that as leverage to get Ashley away from the ranch. After, Billy admitted that he hadn't been able to go through with signing the papers finalizing his divorce with Chloe — but eventually did so. Jack told Billy that even though things are over between him and Sharon, he's still committed to her baby. Meanwhile, Lily told Mac that the only reason Billy was having second thoughts was because of Cordelia or because Chloe put a guilt trip on him. Mac then suggested that Lily forgive Cane. Cane soon returned and Mac left. Lily asked if he would help her through her cancer, and he was more than willing.... Mac ran into Billy at the coffeehouse and he revealed that he signed the divorce papers. She still wasn't sure he knew what he wanted — and thought he should be alone for a while.
Nick was finally allowed to leave the hospital. Before leaving, he promised Sharon that everything would work out. Later, Jack paid her a visit and told her about Mary Jane being Patty. Sharon then informed him that Nick now knows that her baby is his.... Nick returned home and called out for Phyllis, but she was at the airport.
At the cabin, Patty realized that there wasn't going to be a wedding. "You shouldn't have tricked me," she warned Gloria.... At the ranch, Adam and Victor discussed Mary Jane being on the loose. A crazed Paul then barged in, demanding to know what Victor did to his sister.
Wednesday
Paul barreled into the ranch, pointing a finger in Victor's face and accusing him of bringing his sister to Genoa City. Adam appeared and came to his father's defense, "If you're gonna make an accusation like that, you better have proof to back it up!" he shouted to Paul. "I would shut up if I were you," Paul shot back. After Adam left, Paul continued to accuse Victor of engineering Patty's return to G.C. Victor suggested "pinning" the crime on someone else. Paul tearfully spewed all his venom at Victor, claiming that his need for revenge on Jack kept him from seeing all the damage Patty could do. "You knew Patty could spin out of control, and YOU DIDN'T CARE!" he screamed. Victor pointed out that the only people Patty had harmed were members of his own family. Victor claimed Paul was actually at fault because he had failed to recognize his own sister. Paul told Victor that what he had done was sick. Victor asked Paul to leave. "You go find your sister," he ordered.
At the Abbott cabin, Patty accused Gloria of trying to trick her. Gloria scrambled to cover her tracks. Patty grabbed Gloria from behind and attacked her. "You traitor!" she screamed, just as Jeffrey entered. The duo managed to restrain Patty, though Gloria complained that Patty had bitten her. Tied to a chair, Patty agreed to take a sleeping pill in exchange for their promise not to hurt Kitty Kitty. Gloria produced a disposable cell phone, and insisted that they call Victor, because Jack would turn them into the police. Jeffrey made the call, but Victor (still with Paul) brushed him off. The duo turned to the backup plan — calling Jack. They agreed they'd make the call anonymously, so Jack couldn't turn them in. "You guys are mean people," a drugged Patty slurred.
Paul met Jack at the coffee house, and filled him in with what had happened with Victor. "He did it, Jack." Before Paul could elaborate, Jack's cell phone rang. An unrecognizable voice (Jeffrey) demanded to know if the reward money was still available. Jack looked at his phone to find a photo of Patty kidnapped and tied up. Jack and the caller agreed to the full two million dollar reward. Victor then called Jeffrey, who said, "Let's deal, my friend." Jeffrey went back to the cabin where he told Gloria with a big smile that he had made "all sorts of deals."
At the trailer, Mac showed up at Billy's request. She found him drinking beer and watching sports in old ratty clothes. "Welcome to my single guy mansion!" he exclaimed. He claimed to be living the life, but Mac wasn't buying it. Billy told her that he just wanted to see her smile, because she hadn't been doing much of that lately. Billy attempted to convince Mac that they were solid as a couple. "What if what we have isn't so special after all?" Mac wondered. Billy admitted that he was scared, but their happiness was on the line and they needed to try. He laid a kiss on her, claiming they had "magic" together. She finally gave in and began to kiss him passionately.
Cane was concerned about Lily's fever, but a phone call to the doctor put their fears aside. Cane arranged to have a prescription delivered. Though a fever was normal for chemo patients, Lily was angry that she had to deal with it and hot flashes at her young age. She vented to Cane that it was not fair that she could not do the things normal young people could do. Cane turned down the lights and doted on Lily. He made fun of the "normal" things that young people do, like hanging out at bars. This elicited a smile from Lily.
Back at the ranch, Adam introduced his new attorney, Dean Hunt, to his father. Dean suggested drawing up a document, using Victor's influence, asking the court for Adam's release from house arrest. Victor agreed, saying Ashley believed in him, so he did too.
During Jack's visit to the psych hospital, Sharon explained why she told Nick the truth about the paternity. Jack was devastated, saying that all he wanted was to be the baby girl's daddy. They both agreed that they had been selfish by lying to Nick all this time, even though they had done it for his own good. Sharon commented that it would have been tough for Jack to see the baby every time and know that she was Nick's. "What does that say about me, that I could have lived with that?" lamented Jack. Sharon left for an O.B. appointment, but Jack was still there waiting for her when she returned. They tearfully looked at the new ultrasound picture. "Why does this feel like good-bye?" Sharon asked. "After all we've been through," Jack responded, "all we have left is a lie." He left her room after asking her to take care of herself. Sharon dissolved into tears.
Nick caught up to Phyllis and Summer at the airport. He cuddled with Summer and presented her with the bunny she had forgotten at home. Phyllis filled Nick in on all the Mary Jane/Patty madness. Nick was shocked to find out MJ's true identity. He was adamant, though, that his father had no connection to her. He kept trying to bring up the paternity issue, but Phyllis kept interrupting him. She reassured him that they were a family, and that she didn't need to know what happened with him and Sharon the night before. She told him that their family would be stronger than ever when she and Summer returned from Switzerland. Nick said he would always be there for them, and that they would deal with whatever came their way. Phyllis was very moved by his reassurance. "I know you will protect us and never let anyone come between us again, and that is why I will love you for the rest of my life," Phyllis said, grabbing his hand. Nick held back his news about the baby. They exchanged passionate "I love yous" and kisses before Phyllis and Summer boarded the plane.
Thursday
At Crimson Lights, Chloe waited for Chance. Meanwhile, she called her mom and explained that once she makes Billy jealous by dating Chance, she'll find a new woman for Chance. Phillip ran into her and joined her. He said that he's proud of his son and Chloe encouraged him to let Chance know that. Nina then arrived and didn't seem pleased to learn of Chloe and Chance's meeting.... Chance arrived at the coffeehouse and argued with his boss over the Patty situation. He then ran into Chloe, Phillip and Nina. Nina told Chance that she thought he did a wonderful job at the church. Phillip also said he was proud and Chance seemed confused. Alone, Nina told Phillip that she doesn't like Chloe, but he thought she seemed nice.... Chance blamed himself for letting Patty escape, but Chloe told him not to. He then asked her if she and Billy signed the divorce papers and she admitted that they hadn't.... Phillip and Nina had a great time catching up and agreed to be best friends since they couldn't be married. Nina then interrupted Chance and Chloe and asked to speak with Chloe alone. She accused Chloe of trying to make Billy jealous with Chance; Chloe denied it, but Nina warned her that she's met her match.... Phillip apologized to Chance for trying to sound like a proud dad earlier. He explained that he was proud of Chance for being able to face his life.
J.T. ran into Colleen at the G.C.A.C. She shared that she's up for a job teaching at at the university. He was happy for her; Victoria arrived at the club and spied them hugging. He reminded Colleen that he wants his marriage to Victoria to work. After he left, Vicky confronted Colleen, who denied throwing herself at J.T. Colleen warned her that if she keeps acting suspicious, Victoria will lose J.T.
Cane tended to a sick Lily, but she didn't want him hovering. She apologized for snapping at him, explaining that her fever is getting to her and she didn't know how she was going to deal with chemo for months. Cane was confident that she'd make it. She again snapped at him when he was about to call her a "fighter." Cane insisted that she's the strongest woman he knows. Later, Colleen stopped by for a girls' afternoon with Lily and gave her sick friend a gift. Colleen shared her good news about teaching art. After, she gave Lily her good luck angel figurine and told Lily that she can't lose another person she loves. Later, Colleen was devastated when she lost the job because the dean saw the video of her flashing the crowd at Jimmy's. She headed to the ranch to meet up with her mom. Cane returned home and found Lily in a much better mood. She asked her husband to hold her.
At the Newman Ranch, Ashley awoke from another nightmare. Victor was concerned. Ashley went to take a nap. Just then, Katherine arrived and asked to talk. She wondered if he'd seen Nikki, but he hadn't. Kay didn't understand why Nikki hadn't been in touch with her or her children, and implored Newman to find her. Kay demanded to know what happened with Nikki the night she left town. He flashed back to when Nikki confessed that she loves him. He admitted to Kay that he'd turned Nikki away. Kay was furious with him for dismissing Nikki, but he reminded her that he has Ashley to think about. Kay reminded him that it's his and Nikki's anniversary and couldn't believe he forgot. "What's happened to you?" she asked, before leaving. Victor went inside and checked his calendar; as he did so, he thought about Nikki.... Upstairs, Ashley tried to figure out who she hit with her car. Later, Traci made a surprise visit to the ranch and demanded to see her sister. Victor reluctantly let her in. Traci feared that living at the ranch wasn't healthy for her sister. Ashley replied that she needs Traci to believe in her. Traci assured her that that she does.
Kay ran into Victoria at the club and shared her fears that Nikki's in trouble. She filled Vicky in on how Victor turned Nikki away when she came to him. J.T. joined them and Victoria demanded that he find Nikki.... Colleen stopped by the ranch and asked Victor if she could speak with him.... After speaking with Traci, Ashley had a memory of hitting Nikki with her car.
Friday
Billy wanted to fight Victor, but Jack warned him to be careful. Billy hated
the idea of just sitting around and was determined to go after Newman. Jack
wanted to wait until they had Patty so she could tell everyone that Victor
brought her to town; he hoped that Ashley would then finally leave Victor.
Meanwhile at the Newman Ranch, Colleen fought with Victor over losing the
teaching job at the university. Victor said it was her own fault she got
drunk and made a fool out of herself and stated that Jack had been using her
to get back at him.... Upstairs, Ashley confided in Traci about her
nightmares involving Sabrina. Adam interrupted and Traci introduced herself
to him. Ashley demanded that he leave. After, Traci advised Ash to see a
doctor, but Ashley refused. She insisted that she just needed a good night's
sleep. Adam eavesdropped from outside the bedroom door.
At Crimson Lights, Jana was determined to help Amber find a way out of her
mess with Deacon. Daniel arrived and didn't want to speak with Amber, but
Jana insisted he not give up on her. He finally agreed to give Amber a
certain number of minutes of his time. Amber revealed that Deacon's forcing
her to marry him, but she still loves Daniel. Daniel planned to go to
Deacon, but Amber begged him not to.... Kevin visited Ryder in jail and
tried to figure out if Ryder is his half brother. Ryder insisted that he's
not trying to con Kevin and played on Kevin's sympathies by bringing up
Tom's abuse. Kevin became more understanding and promised Ryder that he'd
get through this — then offered to help Ryder. Later, an envelope arrived
for Kevin at the coffeehouse. Jana signed for it. It was the DNA results for
Ryder and Kevin. She met up with the men at the jail, where Kevin opened the
envelope: the results said that Ryder and Kevin are brothers.... Daniel
asked Amber to marry him instead.
Traci came downstairs and found Colleen arguing with Victor. Colleen
explained that Victor had hired someone to ply her with drinks. Traci asked
her daughter to step away and shared her concerns about Ashley with him. She
didn't understand why he hadn't gotten Ashley professional help; he argued
that Ashley didn't want to see a psychiatrist. Traci believed that it was
his feud with Jack that was keeping him from seeing that something's wrong
with Ashley. Victor became angry and demanded that Traci and her brothers
respect his relationship with Ashley, as well as his decisions regarding
her.
At the Abbott cabin, Gloria and Jeffrey tied up Patty and continued to argue
over who to give her to — Victor or Jack. Patty warned them that if she's
going down, she's taking the Bardwells with her. Jeff joked about how he was
hoping for a little Stockholm Syndrome from her. He then went to make the
calls an left her tied to the chair. Patty begged Gloria to leave Kitty
Kitty and she obliged.
At the Abbott manse, Colleen complained to Jack and Billy about the job. She
then blamed Jack for using her and for putting her in Victor's path. She
began to cry as she stated that she was counting on Jack to be her
replacement father. "Where were you when everything went to hell?" she
asked. "I never thought that you would walk out on me." A stricken Jack
apologized as Billy tried to comfort Colleen. Billy explained that this is
why he wants to go after Victor. Traci arrived and Jack took the blame for
not protecting Colleen. Traci implored him not to use Colleen or Ashley as
pawns in his feud against Victor. "Who's looking out for Ashley?" she
wondered.
Ashley sat in her room and thought about the lies Adam had told her. Adam
then entered, but she yelled at him to leave her alone. She again accused
him of tricking her into thinking Sabrina was alive; he argued that he was
just trying to support her. He apologized for hurting her and she broke
down. She revealed that she believes she hit Nikki with the car that night.
Adam offered to look into it, but urged her not to say anything. Later,
Victor asked Ashley if Traci had said something to upset her, but she didn't
feel like talking.
Colleen and Billy went to the coffeehouse. When she said that she wanted to
get out of town for a little while, he gave her the keys to the Abbott
cabin. Traci joined them and Colleen invited her to go with her, but Traci
had a book signing. Traci praised her daughter for standing up to Victor and
Jack. After Colleen left, Traci and Billy discussed how worried they were
about Ashley, and how frustrated they are with Jack and Victor. Later, Billy
went to the ranch and carried Ashley out of her room. Adam tried to stop
him, but Billy shoved past him.
Jeff called Jack and told him he had Patty. He and Glo then planned to go to
Victor, too, so they could get all of the reward money. They laughed at the
idea of the men being on a "collision course.".. Jack counted the reward
money and thought about when he learned that Mary Jane is Patty. He left to
find her.... Colleen entered the cabin and found Patty tied to the chair.
She asked Colleen for help.
