Monday
Mitchell Sherman met with Katherine and Murphy and told Kay he had important news regarding her estate. He revealed that her death certificate has been declared invalid and that all of her money and property can now be returned to her. The lawyer noted that Marge's family and friends would probably want closure for her. Kay and Murphy decided that Marge needed a proper memorial service.
Kevin and Amber sat for their arraignment at the courthouse. Jana tried to reach out to Kevin, but was told that there would be no contact with the prisoner. Heather got up and read the charges against Kevin, including armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. She also listed Clint's death as being something Kevin was possibly responsible for. Michael then announced that Kevin has deep psychological problems. Heather cut in and argued that Kevin shot at people. Michael went on that Kevin was tortured by his captors. Amber stood up and began yelling at Heather, but was told to sit down. Michael continued to insist that Kevin was the victim. Kevin just sat there staring into space. Michael urged for his brother to get proper treatment — and pointed out that Heather regularly patronizes Kevin's coffeehouse. Amber again shouted out that Kevin wouldn't kill anyone. Heather noted that Amber wrote a plea for help inside the closet Kevin was
keeping her in. Michael and Daniel urged Amber to keep quiet. When the guard grabbed Amber, Kevin freaked out.
Katherine arrived to support Amber. When Gloria blamed herself for Kevin's condition, Kay told Glo to stop thinking of herself for once.... Michael hoped Kevin's outburst would actually work for him and prove how he needed psychological help. Later, the judge ordered for Kevin to be taken to a psychological facility. Michael argued that if Kevin wasn't acting of his own free will, then Amber couldn't be a co-conspirator; he also noted that they had bank security footage of Amber mouthing "Help." The judge stated that the charges against Amber still stood, but granted her bail at $1
million. Kay offered to pay it. "I don't know I'm going to repay you," Amber cried. "You already have," Kay told her. Later, Jana and Michael visited Kevin in the mental facility — and learned that Kevin was being kept in a padded cell. "You promised! You lied to me, Michael!" Kevin yelled.
Phyllis prayed that Nick wasn't again cheating on her with Sharon. Meanwhile, Nick and Sharon were reluctant to leave the cabin. Phyllis panicked when she didn't hear from Nick and left the tack house.... At the cabin, Sharon wondered if she and Nick would still be together if Cassie hadn't died. They agreed that they probably would still be married. Sharon confessed that she's falling apart and embraced Nick. Nick apologized for sleeping with her that other time. Sharon replied that she'll never regret it. Nick leaned in and kissed her. She kissed him back and it became more passionate; they fell onto the floor together..... Phyllis disguised herself as a maid at the GCAC and let herself into Sharon's suite. She grabbed a scissors and began cutting up Sharon's clothes, yelling that Sharon's a mess the whole time. Juxtaposed with scenes where Nick and Sharon were tenderly making love (again) were the scenes of Phyllis angrily trashing Sharon's
hotel room.
Lauren lectured Eden and Noah at Crimson Lights for trying to run off to the cabin. They urged Lauren to be with Michael as assured her that she could trust them. Lauren reluctantly agreed to let them be. Noah went to drive Eden home, but Eden wanted to go back to his place. Noah took her to the
tack house and they found no one was home. Eden wondered how those books ended up in her bag and called herself a magnet for bad luck; Noah replied that everything they've been through has only brought them closer together. Eden asked if he was upset with her for asking him to wait until they slept together. Noah said he wasn't angry and appreciated her being honest with him. They kissed.
While trashing Sharon's room, Phyllis came across the items Sharon had stolen. Phyllis took a lipstick and scribbled, "I Hate Myself," on Sharon's mirror. "I hate you, too," Phyllis whispered, but it wasn't clear if she meant Sharon — or herself. Phyllis then called the police (using a Southern
accent) and informed them that she worked in housekeeping and found the room in a "terrible" state.
Nick and Sharon returned to Genoa City. They looked for Noah in Crimson Lights, but he wasn't there. They agreed that they weren't sorry about what had happened between them, but Nick wasn't sure what he was going to tell Phyllis. After, Nick and Phyllis ran into each other at the front door to
their home. "What did I miss?" Phyllis asked. "I actually think you and I need to talk," he said. They entered their home ... and found Noah and Eden undressed. Nick ordered Eden to get dressed so he could take her home.... Sharon returned to her suite and found it trashed — and the cops there. They informed her that they were investigating a report of stolen belongings.
Tuesday
After catching Noah with Eden at the tack house, Nick drove Eden home. Phyllis asked Noah if he used protection, which got him upset. Noah replied that what they did was his own business. "Actions have consequences," Phyllis said. Noah went to take a walk.... Nick brought Eden to Lauren at Crimson Lights and implored Eden to tell Lauren what she and Noah had been up to. After Nick left, Eden told Lauren about her "amazing night" with Noah. Lauren was shocked. Eden assured her that they used protection and that Noah loves her. Lauren warned her not to confuse sex with love. Eden insisted that they know what they're doing.... Noah had a heart-to-heart with Victoria. She urged him to speak with his parents about it, but he replied that Nick was furious with him.
Jeffrey and Gloria dined together at the GCAC. Gloria thanked him for helping her bring Kevin home. He invited Gloria up to his suite for a bath... Michael and Jana were alarmed by how Kevin was being treated in the mental facility. Jana had another one of her headaches. She then peered in at a drugged-up Kevin and promised that she'd never give up on him. Michael was concerned about Jana's health, but she insisted on being there for her husband. She was frustrated that Kevin couldn't sense how much she loves
him. After, Jana stopped by the GCAC and told Gloria and Jeff about what Kevin was going through... At the hospital, Michael questioned the doctor about his brother's treatment, but the doctor insisted that Kevin's a danger to himself. Michael was prepared to take it to court. "Good luck with that," a smug Heather sneered as she arrived at the hospital. Michael made some calls and learned that the judge was now in Toronto. "I told you," Heather stated, adding that Kevin was getting the treatment he "deserves," and "not the vacation you've been hoping for." Michael was furious. Heather accused Kevin of faking his breakdown.
Sharon returned to her GCAC suite and found the police going through her stuff; they had questions about the stolen items, but Sharon insisted on making a call first.... Phyllis flashed back to calling the police to let them know that there were stolen items in Sharon's room. Nick returned home
and told Phyllis that they need to talk.... Jack arrived at Sharon's suite and asked Detective Wallace if the cops knew who vandalized the place. Wallace noted that some of the items still had tags on them and were stolen. Jack argued that someone framed Sharon. Sharon admitted that she thinks she
might have taken the items. Wallace arrested her.
Phyllis asked why Nick was at the cabin for such a long time. Nick noted that his and Phyllis's marital problems have been getting worse. "I'm not saying we're done..." he began. "We're not done," Phyllis insisted. "We're not giving up." "We both know what I'm about to say to you," he said. "I
really don't want to say it." "Then don't," Phyllis whispered. "We need to separate," Nick said quietly. Phyllis realized that he'd again slept with Sharon. "Did you never love me?" Phyllis asked. Nick replied that he does love Phyllis and Summer. Phyllis angrily noted that she'll always come after
Sharon. "We don't keep holding on to our first love!" she yelled, breaking into sobs. "We move on. I'm an idiot for believing you and for holding onto this. You've always been in love with her, during our entire marriage you've been in love with her. You were just using me to get past the death of
Cassie," she finished. Nick didn't dispute anything she was saying.
Jack called Michael to help with Sharon. Gloria joined Michael at the mental hospital so she could help him deal with Kevin. Michael agreed to let her stay so he could take care of some things. Soon, the doctor stopped by and Gloria asked if she could be in the room with her son. He let her into the cell, but told her not to get so close. Kevin was dazed as he eyed his mom; suddenly, Glo's voice became really high — and he envisioned her as having a chipmunk head, like the mask he'd worn while he robbed the banks. Kevin screamed for her to leave him alone.
Nick grabbed a bag and prepared to head out. Phyllis sarcastically thanked him for being honest with her. "What else do you want me to say to you?" Nick asked. "I want you to say a lot of things to me. You owe that to me," she spat, becoming more and more upset. "Say it to me!" she kept yelling in regards to whether he'd used her. "I don't know," he stammered. "Please leave," she demanded. He obliged, pausing at the door for just a moment. Phyllis dissolved into sobs.... At the station, Sharon was booked for her crime. Jack joined her at the station as a supportive friend.... Phyllis
invited Michael over, but he explained that he isn't free that evening. She sat down on her couch, alone.... Nick went to Victoria and J.T.'s place. Victoria spied his bag. "I'm really sorry," she said. "Me, too," he replied.
Michael arrived at the station and Jack filled him in on Sharon's suite being trashed and the stolen items being found. Abbott believed that she'd confessed to stealing because she was so rattled to find her room destroyed. Michael's interest was piqued when Jack mentioned that among the items were
books stolen from the used bookstore. Michael advised Jack to call another lawyer. After, Michael met up with Lauren at the GCAC and sadly told her about Kevin. Lauren filled him in on Noah and Eden being together. Eden arrived and Michael couldn't even look at her. Michael then told them about Sharon getting arrested for theft, and that among the items were the books that Eden had been accused of stealing. Eden was furious that Sharon let her take the blame for it..... Noah arrived home and Phyllis admitted that she didn't know where Nick was. "He's coming back soon, right?" Noah asked. "I have no idea," Phyllis replied.... Jack asked Sharon if she wanted him to call Nick. "No. Do not call him," she stated.
Wednesday
Sharon thanked Jack for getting her a lawyer but made it clear that she wouldn't be moving back in with him. She commented that she had not ransacked her room and certainly hadn't written "I hate myself" on the mirror. Jack didn't want to leave Sharon alone but she assured him she'd be fine. Nick charged in. "I heard you were arrested. What happened?" he asked. Sharon told Nick that she'd been losing bits of time and would find strange things in her bag. "It's like I'm toxic or something. You should stay away from me," she said. Nick wanted to help. Sharon told Nick that her room had
been ransacked. Nick wondered if Phyllis did it but didn't think it was possible. Sharon thought that Phyllis was capable of doing such a thing. Nick promised Sharon that things would get better. Sharon didn't want to hurt his marriage anymore than she already had. Nick told a stunned Sharon that he had left Phyllis.
Noah asked his dad how much trouble he might be in with Sharon. (Nick and Eden had had sex.) Nick admitted that he and Phyllis were going through a rough time, but didn't want to worry his son. Nick did tell him that Sharon had been arrested for stealing.
Eden told Noah that Sharon had let her take the hit for stealing the books from the bookstore. Noah made sure his father knew that. Noah found Sharon and immediately called her on making Eden take the fall for the theft of the books. Noah accused her of wanting to break up Eden and him. Sharon denied that and said, "I've been going through a really hard time." Noah wasn't
interested in any explanation she might have. Sharon called her mom. Noah ran into Victor and Jack. Both invited him to stay at their respective houses.
Nick and Phyllis finally connected. He accused her of setting Sharon up and trashing Sharon's room. Phyllis feigned being horrified at that accusation and asked Nick if he was coming home. He said no, he'd be staying at Victoria's. Phyllis doubted she could ever trust him again.
Colleen asked Victor all sorts of questions about the business. Victor wondered if she was confused. Colleen immediately countered and asked if he knew the difference between Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Victor quickly explained the difference and put Colleen in her place. Colleen reminded him that she wasn't going anywhere. Despite Colleen's remarks to the contrary, Victor tried to make it clear that he had been "hasty in
excluding you" when putting the Newman board of directors together. Both agreed to try to get along. Colleen left with a stack of papers to study. Once Colleen left, Victor called J.T. and asked him to come to the ranch as soon as possible. Victor told his son-in-law that he wants Colleen off the Newman Board ASAP. "Find something to get her to resign, all right?" he asked. But he quickly added he did not want Colleen publicly humiliated. J.T. said he'd work on it and then told Victor all about Sharon and the ransacking of her room at the club. He went on to tell Victor that Sharon
had been stealing things. Victor was stunned.
Colleen called her uncle Jack. They talked about how she would turn the board against Victor. Jack asked her to be the new face of Jabot. Colleen was hesitant. Jack hoped to change her mind by explaining that the Abbott family might soon run Jabot again. Things would change, he predicted, once Katherine was made "legally Katherine." She would make that happen. Jack begged his niece to be the face of Jabot and said he had already booked a
fitting for her. Jack got great pleasure wondering how Victor would deal with driving by Colleen's face on a billboard every day.
Nikki showed Lily the new issue of Restless Style with Katherine on the cover. Phyllis welcomed Kay to the office and everyone raved about how great the cover turned out. Nikki wondered where Nicholas was. Phyllis paused and said he might be at Newman. Nikki got a call from the west coast. "We have to order another printing!" Nikki announced. Nikki was still hunting for Nick. Phyllis admitted to her mother-in-law that she thought "Nick and I are past the point of no return." Nikki tried to convince her to trust that "he'll come back." Murphy showed up at the office and told Kay that Jill had seen the magazine. Kay was anxious to talk to her. "I'm not giving up on Jill," Kay said. Kay finally found Jill. Jill called the article "Nikki's hatchet job." "You're still my daughter. I don't care what the test said," Kay declared. "What if I do?" was Jill's response.
Murphy told Kay that the silver chipmunk story was still on the front pages but was grateful that Kevin and Amber were safe. Kay was in another world because she didn't respond when Murphy jokingly said, "Angelina called me this morning. She's dumping Brad and the kids, said she cannot live without me. You okay with that?" Kay was on the lookout for someone. Murphy wondered if she was hoping to run into Jill. Kay regretted some of the things she had said to her at the wedding. Murphy reminded his fiancée that Jill hadn't been the nicest person either. Nikki showed Kay the cover which both Kay and Murphy loved. "May you sell many, many, many magazines," Kaysaid with a smile. Nikki invited Kay to the office and the two left. Jill showed up and got into it with Murphy. "How does it feel to win the lottery? Take advantage of a confused old woman?" she asked sharply. Murphy said he just wanted Kay to be happy and added, "She seems to think that having you in her life is important." Jill said that this was none of his business and reminded him that she and Kay were no longer related. Murphy reminded Jill that she still loves Kay and Kay loves her. Jill scoffed at that remark. Jill mentioned the cover of the magazine. "No way in hell we will ever reconcile," she declared. Jill reminded Murphy that he's "swimming with the
sharks now."
Jack showed up and asked Jill if she was contemplating her future. She reminded him that Cane was still C.E.O of Jabot. "You'll find a way to screw it up," Jill added snarikly. Jack told her that she got screwed in the end. Jill sarcastically thanked Victor for "putting me in an untenable position with Jabot and my family." Victor told her she had done that to herself. "You lost control of Jabot because of your relationship with Katherine. In other words, my dear, this is your doing," he added.
Colleen ran into Lily. Lily was thrilled the Colleen would be the new Fresh Face. Lily offered her encouragement when it came to starting a new modeling career. J.T. ran into Lily and the two caught up. Colleen told him she thought Victor was warming up to her. "Really?" J.T. said. J.T. suggested Colleen sell her seat on the board. Colleen made it clear that she didn't want to talk about business with her friend.
Lily told Nikki she was very interested in the modeling offer.
Thursday
Katherine entered Crimson Lights and saw Mac. She told Mac that she was looking for Jill to try to make things right. "Why don't you fix the economy while you're at it?" Mac asked. Mac didn't understand Kay's need to get through to Jill. But Kay insisted that she must try. Mac expressed how bad she felt for Kevin, and wished that there was some way she could help out. Michael entered and was surprised to see Mac back in town. The two exchanged a warm greeting. After Michael filled her in on Kevin's situation, Mac insisted on going to the mental hospital to visit Kevin. "I have seen Kevin in hell once before and I was there when he came out on the other side," she said. "Let me be there for him again." Michael agreed, and they went to the hospital together. Mac entered Kevin's room alone. She began talking to him, but he stared blankly at her. As she continued to talk, he cowered into the corner. "Hey Kevin, it's Mac! I'm back and I have missed you," she said. He was unresponsive. As Mac continued to talk to Kevin about how happy she was for his business and his marriage, Michael watched at the window with tears in his eyes. Kevin had another delusion in which he imagined Mac in the bloody chipmunk head, speaking in a sadistic voice with twisted laughter. Mac finally left his room, without a word from Kevin. Michael guessed correctly that Kevin had no idea who Mac was. Mac insisted to Michael that he will get better. Michael said he was worried that the Kevin they knew and loved was gone forever. Michael reminded Mac that she was the first real friend Kevin ever had. In his room, Kevin whispered, "Mac!" Michael went inside and told him how nice it was of Mac to stop by. He went on to list all the people that love him. He told him that everyone would do whatever it took to help him. He reached out to touch Kevin's cheek, but Kevin pulled away.
At Jabot, Jill arrived at her office to find all her things boxed up. Her secretary didn't know who had ordered it, but Jill was positive that Katherine was behind it. She called Cane to tell him about the turn of events. Katherine arrived and said that she was hoping they could talk civilly. Jill told her that she was furious for being fired with no cause and with no notice. Kay claimed to have nothing to do with it. Jill said that she had made a mistake thinking that Kay could have ever loved her. "I DO love you!" Katherine exclaimed. "Biology is irrelevant to me!" But Jill wasn't buying it. "You have taken everything from me. It must have killed you to pretend you gave a damn about me when you thought I was your daughter," she cried. Kay insisted that Jill was being absurd, but Jill cried that what was absurd was Katherine pretending to love her. "Just admit that you're glad that I'm not your daughter; that you have never loved me!" she shouted. "Just tell the truth!" Katherine, through her tears, stated, "Fine — I'm GLAD! I'm JOYOUS! I'm ECSTATIC that THIS (pointing at Jill) is not my daughter!" With that, she left.
Cane arrived at Jill's office to find the lights out and Jill in tears. He tried to convince her that Katherine did love her. But Jill insisted otherwise. "There's too much bad blood," she told him. "We're back in that dark place." She told Cane that Katherine had admitted she was glad she wasn't her daughter. She lamented that she had wanted SO badly for it to work; that she had been DESPERATE to find her birth mother, and was devastated to be rejected all over again. Jill told Cane how grateful she was to him for being such a sweet and caring son, and that she would be okay. She had a flashback to happier times as mother and daughter at Jabot.
At the coffeehouse, Kay told Murphy that she had lost temper with Jill and had said things she didn't mean. She shared with him that Jill seemed determined to destroy everything good they had shared as mother and daughter. She also confided in Murphy that she was sad about Kevin being locked up simply because he had believed in her ... unlike Jill — who never did. "How can she just cut me off like this?" Kay wondered. Murphy told her that she may never know the answer. Murphy left, to give her some time alone to think. Kay broke down and cried.
At the book store, Lily ran into Karen. They discussed Neil's affair. Karen said that she did not want to reward Tyra's despicable behavior, and that she WOULD be Ana's mother. Lily told her that if she had learned one thing from the whole ordeal with Cordelia, it was that children need to be with their mothers. Lily left to find Neil at the coffeehouse. She begged her Dad to be honest with everyone about the whole situation, and told him that she hoped he was ready to face being married to Karen ... even if they lose Ana.
At the poolhouse, Billy reflected on his last conversation with Mac in which she told him she was leaving town. Chloe asked him if he still loved Mac. She said that she needed to know if he was going to bail, because she did not want to be blindsided in front of the judge. "If you're gonna run off with Nature Girl and roll bandages and feed the poor, I need to know about it first!" she exclaimed. Billy admitted that although at one time he was crazy about Mac and couldn't wait to marry her, it didn't matter now, because she was gone. He told Chloe that he was where he belonged - with his family. Rafe knocked at the door. He had come to discuss strategy for the hearing the next day. He advised them to bring the baby to the hearing, and that he couldn't promise that Cane wouldn't win. After Rafe left, Billy told Chloe that he was heading to the bookstore to buy vintage nursery rhyme books for Delia, because he was so confident they would get to keep her.
Billy arrived at the bookstore. While he waited for the clerk to round up his books, he ran into Mac. He couldn't believe she had changed her mind about staying. He asked her why she hadn't called him. She told him that she hadn't seen a point in calling, and she tried to leave. Billy blocked her path and said that he wouldn't let her leave until she told him the real reason why she had decided to stay in town.
Esther arrived at the poolhouse while Billy was at the bookstore. She informed Chloe that Mac had decided to stay in Genoa City. Chloe worried that Billy had lied about going to the bookstore, and was really going to see Mac. Esther tried to convince her that Billy is committed to her, and wouldn't lie to her. Chloe moaned that Billy could "lie with the best of 'em." Chloe was frantic to find Billy, afraid that he was with Mac. She called his cell phone, but Billy ignored the ringing phone and instead pulled Mac into a passionate kiss.
Meanwhile, Neil and Tyra met with Rafe at the coffeehouse. They asked Rafe if Tyra could present her own petition for adoption. Rafe was angry. He said to Neil: "So you would go into court with your fingers crossed ... HOPING Tyra will win so you don't look like the bad guy?" He told Neil that he couldn't do it — that it was illegal and conflict of interest. He said that he could make a referral for another lawyer to handle Tyra's claim, but that Neil and Karen would still most likely win — especially if they concealed their marital problems. Neil mused that maybe he and Karen could just patch everything up so that they could adopt Ana. Rafe was honest, and said that in his experience, marriages don't usually work when they are held together just for the child, and that people sometimes live to regret their decision.
Rafael later called with the lawyer referral, which Neil gave to Tyra. He asked her if she was okay to proceed on her own. She assured him that she was. Neil said that he cared about her, and lightly kissed her hand. Lily entered the coffeehouse and observed this. Tyra feared that she had made things even worse. Neil assured her that he would talk to Lily, and Tyra left. Lily was upset with her dad. Neil insisted to Lily that he and Tyra were not having an affair. He told her that they were only together one time, and that it had been a mistake. He shared with her that he was beginning to think that the adoption might also be a mistake.
Lily left and found Cane drinking alone at the bar at the Club. She told him that she loved him and would support him tomorrow, but that she wanted him to be absolutely sure that he was doing the right thing. — ELISE BAKER
Friday
Cane met up with Jill at the GCAC before the custody hearing for Cordelia. Jill hoped things would go his way. Cane wasn't sure how he'd stop thinking about her as his daughter. "I have someone who could help you with that,"
Jill sniffed. She then revealed that she has an idea for a new business venture now that she was no longer at Chancellor Industries.
At Crimson Lights, Katherine confessed to Mackenzie that her conversation with Jill hadn't gone so well. Mac understood. Kay asked Mac about Billy; Mac insisted that she and Billy had moved on. Kay acknowledged that Chloe
has made bad choices, but was confident that Chloe and Billy love their baby.... A sleeping Billy thought back to his meeting with Mac at the bookstore; he was jolted awake by Delia's crying. Chloe asked how he found out Mac was staying in town; Billy admitted that he ran into Mac. Chloe wondered why he didn't mention it to her; Billy thought about how he'd kissed Mac and explained that Chloe was asleep when he came home. They then discussed the custody hearing and Chloe feared that they really could lose Delia.
At Newman Enterprises, Karen told Ana that she and Neil would be adopting her in court that day, if everything went well. Ana hoped Tyra would be there, as well. Devon arrived and was cold toward Neil. He left with Ana as Neil and Karen got ready for court. Karen suggested that they later go out to dinner to take Ana for her favorite food. Neil wanted to see howeverything turned out first. After, Victor asked Neil why he didn't take the day off to celebrate; Neil admitted that things have gotten complicated and that either Tyra or Karen was about to get her heart broken.... At Crimson Lights, Lily was unfriendly toward Tyra. Tyra explained that Neil's the only one who understands how much she wants to be in Ana's life. Ana arrived and happily embraced Tyra.... At Newman, Victoria wondered why Karen didn't seem to be more excited. Karen lied that her expectations are getting the better of her.
J.T. met up with Victor at Newman; he again implored J.T. to dig up dirt on Colleen. J.T. wasn't comfortable with the idea and wanted to know if Victoria knew about it. Victor reminded J.T. that he's the head of Newman security. Victoria interrupted and sensed that things were tense; Victor
quickly turned the conversation over with business, informing her that he wants her to run the new fragrance line. Vicky feared that Colleen and Victor's problems could mess up her presentation.
Neil, Karen and Rafe arrived at the courthouse for Ana's adoption hearing. Tyra also showed up, and Karen was shocked to learn that she was also petitioning. Karen wondered if Neil was behind Tyra being there. Rafe spoke
on behalf of Neil and Karen, explaining how Neil and Drucilla had fostered and then adopted Devon. The judge was impressed. Next, Tyra's lawyer spoke about what a wonderful mother Tyra has been to Ana. Karen flipped out and shrieked about how Tyra wasn't supposed to be allowed to adopt Ana. When Neil urged Karen to calm down, Karen snapped that Neil is on Tyra's side. The judge asked if she could hear from Ana.
Cane paid Kay a visit at work. She explained that Mitchell Sherman was the one who'd ousted Jill from Chancellor. Cane was eager to tell this to Jill, but Kay wanted to keep some distance from her since things were so tense between them.... At Crimson Lights, Jill was less than friendly toward Mac and reminded her that Billy is off-limits. "I'm the one with the history of going after married men," Mac snarked..... Chloe began to freak out as she tried to choose an outfit for Delia to wear to court. Billy tried to keep her calm. Chloe bolted. Billy took Delia to the bookstore, where he ran into
Lily, Devon and Ana. Billy apologized for the way things ended between him and Lily, and asked if they could be friends again. He then implored her to keep Cane from seeking custody of Delia. Lily didn't think she could stop
Cane.... Chloe went to church to pray. Later, Mac ran into Chloe at Crimson Lights. Chloe warned her that there's no hope for Mac and Billy. Billy arrived and overheard Chloe telling Mac off — and wasn't happy about it.
Jill went to Newman Enterprises and asked Victor if she could work with him, but he turned her down.... Kay asked Cane to be the CEO of Chancellor. He told Kay that while she'll always be family, he's quitting as a show of solidarity with Jill.
At the courthouse, the judge put Ana on the stand and asked how the girl liked living with Karen and Neil. Ana replied that it was great. Ana then revealed that while living with Tyra, they moved around a lot but always felt safe. Ana said that while she loved all of them, Tyra was her mom. During the recess, Karen argued with Neil over Tyra. Neil thought that giving Tyra a chance at adopting Ana was the right thing to do. Later, the judge stated that she wanted all three adults in Ana's life, but was granting the right to Neil and Karen to adopt the girl because their lives were more stable. Tyra broke down. Neil interrupted and asked if he could say something.
