So I thought we could have a little fun this morning. What keeps you tuned into GH? Do you watch for characters? Couples? Stories that draw you in? What keeps you going back for more?
For me . . . mostly it's characters. I tuned back in after a roughly five year absence to watch for Kimberly's return having tuned out when they dropped Mac to reoccuring and lost Kristina Wagner-followed Frisco over to B&B, but switched back after he slept with a mom & daughter.
I watch for the Scorpio's who I love. I watch for Monica & Edward (i love when the Q's slam Sonny & Jason-it makes my mob-hating heart giggle) I don't really watch for couples anymore since they get ripped apart so frequently on soaps. I did get a kick out of Jerry stabbing Claudia which makes me feel like a hypocrite, but the child-killer got what was coming to her. I love watching Alexis in D.A. mode & when Lucky gets to play cop. I love Noah even though I still uber-hate his son. Cam is adorable-I miss his daddy Zander 
. I'm looking forward to seeing Shawn Brady-I mean Jason Cook coming to GH. I like Anthony Z, who gets killer lines. Maxie is a hoot & Spinelli is growing on me.
I love the family moments on GH, when they're not mobster-related. The Spencers sending Luke off on his vacation. Anna & Robin's discussions about her baby. I'm liking Liz & Robin's friendship, but I will not fall for J&R again, I refuse. I like Jax & Kate's friendship & Kate mentoring Maxie. I guess Crimson is the new MC.
But what I really hope is true . . . . Antonio Sabato Jr back on GH-even if it's only NIght Shift.
First of all, I gotta say I'm diggin the Mac/Alexis combo! I watch for favorite characters, couples and storylines. I gotten into just about every soap at some point over the last 15+ yrs. I've recently started watching GH after a few years absence because of Jason Cook coming on the show. I loved him with Kirsten Storms on DAYS. Now that they're togethor on GH, i'm watching again. But I read the soap mags on a fair regular basis, so I'm fair up on what's going on and jumping bak into a show isn't too tough.
I have watched GH for about 10 years and it's almost like an addiction now ;o)At the moment, I watch b/c of the Robin/Patrick storyline and I absolutely love anytime Alexis and Diane are in the picture - they bring comic relief almost every time they're on the screen.You've also gotta love the Diane/Max and Alexis/Jerry scenes.As for nostalgia, I would love to see a little more of Tracy, Edward, Mac, and Robert.I know the whole mob thing is the main angle of the show, but I would love to see it get back to the way it used to be, with a nice balance.
I've just recently started watching again (after like 10 years) in hopes that someday, somehow, Robin and Jason will be a couple again (*ducks in case y'all throw things*). Probably never will, but here's hoping....
honestly maxie and spinelli because they remind me of me and my best friend.

One of the reason's I watch is loyalty, silly but true. I always watch in hope that things will get better. That they will bring back Brenda and that she and Sonny can run off into the sunset together. I watch hoping that the last year will have been a dream and that Emily and Georgie will be alive. I loved Emily and Nick together and really loved watching their love story. I never got why Nick left her for Courtney, but anyway. Another reason I watch is Luke, when he is there he is amazing. Getting a little tired of him leaving all the time. Isn't there a way to pre-tape some of his stuff so he can be on the screen longer. Also am hoping one day the powers that be would wake up and put Alexis with Mac together and have them fight crime together. Think that would be fun. Imagine Sonny having to go to Mac to see his son. GH has potential and I believe it will happen and that is why I keep watching.
