Then she got pregnant, didn't know who the baby's father was, had the baby kidnapped, while in a mental ward, broke up what was left of her ex hubby's marriage, after marrying her hubby's brother, after almost dying in a plane crash. All of that in the last what 2-3 yrs? No wonder she's mental (to say the least). But the way the writers have destroyed the character, it makes her very hard to root for.....What woman in her RIGHT mind would be attracted to the man that stole her child? Why would she have ANY interaction with the person whatsoever, reguardless of whether they were married, and all the lies he kept from her even then.Then during a family holiday you run off to find yourself, with what 6 people hot on your trail, you have yet to call and let anyone know where you are...(cause you lost your phone.)...even though we ALL know Adam will find you.1st. So if the chance comes up, you're gonna just hop into bed with the man? While I might add you're engaged to the man you profess to love so deeply, you helped break up HIS marriage ...you have a child you're SUPPOSED to be bonding with, and another that has basically grown up without you. How writers are WE the audience SUPPOSED to root for her? It not like they're making her into a heroine, yes you can have baggage, but not a steamer trunk & luggage...And it makes Sharon look dumber than a box of rocks...if that's possible..and so I ask what is the point ? Why do this to a character that TPTB CLAIMS the veiwers love? Why destroy her for a semi good story? And most of you fan base is female, and you insult then like this? Not only all of that but think of this....Is this Nick's payback for Paris? Finding Shadam together in NO, more or less strolling around just like when Phly caught the 2 of them in Paris? So now is Nick gonna run to Phyl now that he's gonna realize that he made a mistake? Or will he stick it out for his true love? And why didn't Likey end up on NO? It makes more sense for them to be there than Shadam, only cause Micheal has/had family there.....but Sharums has no one there. Course we know in real life CLB is from there, and he should be a bigger part of the story. Oh and really writers, lauren is okay enough now to be left alone? B4 she couldn't even LEAVE the house, but since Daisy chain is in jail all is right in the world? Serious? I agree with everyting you said. All they has done is ruining who Sharon use to be and it's getting worst. Sharon may act dumb as rocks but ever she wouldn't be crazy enough to forget that Adam stole her baby. I don't see the point.

Just to play devil's advocate to some really good points you guys bring up, Adam has some strong points going for him. He brings out a different kind of Sharon, a stronger more independent one that Sharon herself really likes. She has this long history w/Nick, some of great, but alot of it not. He has gone back to Phyl many times, even when she had Faith and that had to be hard to take. He cheated on her when they lost their daughter which was just low, no matter how "shut out" he may have felt. He sees her as always a damsel in distress, which she doesn't like. And Adam, yes he stole her baby, but almost from the time he did it,he regretted it and has been trying to make up for it ever since. He really was in a corner then (remember he didn't mean to kill Ashley's baby, she slipped, and regretted that corner he painted himself into), and once he got to know Sharon, didn't know how he could possibly come clean about it. I think he has tried to redeem himself in ways no one but Sharon will ever even consider looking at. They see him as one dimensional & evil & always will no matter what he says or does, while Sharon (& some of the viewers) really are the only ones who have seen another side to him. Plus, sometimes chemistry is a powerful thing, but that would be the least of it. That's why it appears to them she'd be "crazy" to consider him, but I don't think so, at least not in soap world! ) JMO!!

Okay the man let you think your child was dead! No chemistry or anything in the world would make you forget that! I am now done with Y&R. For Sharon to be with that nut is beyond me. Nick is the love of her life as much as I hate to admit that. Maybe being with Adam has something to do with her steeling. She isn't in her right mind. Put her away again, please! But I will not watch. You can not tell me she forgave him for the baby switch that no one would ever, ever forgive.

We have to remember that sometimes a victim falls in love with their abuser/captor. Adum saved Faith in the Tornado, to Sharon that wipes out him kidnapping her, and he looks like her Hero.

I'm not going to stop watching the show -- but I have to say that watching these two happily wandering around in a romantic, mushy fog kind of makes my skin crawl.Kind of reminds me of the many people who became so upset when Laura fell in love with her rapist Luke.

I think what we shouldn't forget here is how complex their relationship is. Sharon liked the person she is with Adam, he wants her to be strong and self-reliant and when she is with him she doesn't steal things. Nick likes her needy and leaning on him, but she doesn't like herself that way. The man who is supposedly the worst choice for her is the one who makes her feel the strongest and the best. This time in New Orleans is a moment out of time - what happens in New Orleans stays in New Orleans. They are, as far as they know, insulated from all of the craziness and crime of the past and it is just the two of them separate from all of the baggage. I love these two together despite what Adam has done because she is the one thing he truly loves, albeit in a stalker sort of way, and she is someone I can actually like when she is with him. He genuinely loves her but he has done so much that I don't know if he can be redeemed although his dear old dad sure has gotten away with alot. Like someone else mentioned, everyone hated Luke and Laura together at first, too and they are now considered the greatest soap couple of all time pretty much. I would like to see it play out, even if it makes us squirm.

Mookie, I think you nailed it on the head. Is it a bit of Stockholm Syndrome? Probably but she is a better person with Adam and I can actually stand to watch her. I have always thought she was a little too needy (ie flaky) with Nick. She's stronger, more self-reliant, more self-assured when she's with Adam and she's none of those things with Nick. Do I think Adam has done tons of crappy things...sure...top of the list is stealing Faith but he's no less nefarious then Victor. Victor locked a man in a cage in his basement for goodness sake!!! He's killed people, stolen, lied, cheated and done everything bad thing you can think of and yet is still the pillar of the community. Adam is an amature compared to Victor. Let's not forget that dear ol' Dad is right now framing his own flesh and blood for a murder he didn't commit!!! Skye is alive and well just like we knew she would be. Adam is indeed redeemable....will it take a while yep but it'll be fun to watch. Bring on the new Luke/Laura!

i actually quit watching two weeks ago, and got through my withdrawals with ease. I do not miss the show at all. Once I learned that DAISEY was going to be living at Phyllis' house, I was like uh, ok.... then her victim is allowed to just waltz in and see her, and stuff? Not true. in the real world better precautions would be put into place.and while I love Sharon with Adam, im just not liking that yet again Victor gets away with " murder". All right, I gotta say it. I LIKE Sharon with Adam, it is the only place that she is not a victim needing saved. He lets her make her choices and be her own person. During the history of soaps, we have seen worse people be redeemed, and I am willing to take the leap of faith here. Adam is truly repentant for his actions, and was before all was revealed. Nick needs to move on, hell pair him with Diane and see Victors head spin around. change is good, and we tune in for drama AND the unbelievable. It is one hour out of our lives to watch other people do crazy things. At least with this storyline, it creates a new dimension to Sharon we haven't seen in oh I don't know FOREVER!!

Look at how she gave Philust a good push the old Sharon may not have done that. It hard to show Adam redeemable in Sharon sight because it was her baby that he stole, but there are many characters we lilke now and they has done just as bad if not worst. Philust not as bad as Sheila but from the stuff she did to Danny, trying to kill Paul and having Micheal bitten up name it and she did it. Kevin try to kill Colleen that is one of the worst because she almost died. Victor don't even let me get started and Kat is still his best friend and there are many more to mention like micheal and I just don't have the time to go on so I guess in soap would Adam crimes doesn't seem like the end of the would huh.

I know it's a whole different Sharon where Adum is concerned. I guess as long as she isn't the needy victum...but still she has kids that she's forgotten about, oh wait Noah disowned her, and Nick is keeping Faith from her. Now you know there will be a custody battle...just waiting for it...
