I don't get why everything is poor Lauren! Jill was given up after her mother died. When Jill found out she went to Lauren and Lauren was a [censored]. Why shouldn't Jill get half? If she wasn't tossed aside she would have gotten it any way. Also when Jill first went to Lauren she just wanted to be part of a family and Lauren shot her down. Thats when Jill went after the money. Jill is not being a [censored] she is just looking for a place to belong a true family. Get over it Lauren.
What you said is true but Jill also didn't give Lauren any time to adjust to the bomb-shell. Put yourself in Lauren's shoes, you idolized your dad to find out he had another child you'd never even heard of. It caused her to doubt alot of things she had believed about herself. Sure she could have handled it better but all she needed was a little time. If Jill hadn't been a bull in a china shop maybe they could have worked it out outside of court and without the hard feelings on both sides. Jill always jumps without thinking but then that's why we lover her.
I think Lauren is doing the best she can with the news. You also have to remember, Lauren has had a rough year. And this all came out soon after the kidnapping, so she was just getting her life back, and the bomb was dropped. She asked for some time to deal with it and absorb it and told Jill as much and she still forced the issue. So Jill had it coming, and now look, she is still alone
