I would love to see them again. Van said a few months ago that he was filming 30 pages of dialog a day and earning his paycheck. Do you think he was being sarcastic? It didn't seem so at the time. I really hope the show does not chicken out a Luke/Reid pairing and Luke/Noah/Reid triangle.
Unfortunately, I think Luke and Noah are largely missing in action for the same reason OLTL just canned KISH... Except that ATWT didn't go as far as to kill their storyline altogether. We live in a homophobic society and that will take time to change. Nuke have been scaled way back since the Mason storyline last summer. And from the comments Forbes March made in interviews, it sounded like the original storyline he thought he was getting was suddenly brought to a close. It wouldn't even surprise me if a more "meaty" story had actually been taped, then not used. It's certainly possible if Van said he had been doing 30 pages of dialog. We'll probably never know. Now that the show has been cancelled and they have nothing more to lose, I hope they'll do justice to a Luke/Reid/Noah triangle and get Luke and Noah back together when the show ends.
Quote:I am totally confused as to why Luke & Noah are not together. At first I thought Noah blamed Luke for his accident but that doens't seem to be the case anymore. Dr Reid's demand that they be apart is nonsensical. The two can be together, & Luke still not be around the Doc. And while I can understand Noah wanting his independence, he doesn't even seem consistent in that. While Luke was having his daddy issues, Noah wanted to support him, but Luke seemed to be pushing him away. huh?Am I missing something - is there a logical reason being presented for these two to be apart? Most times I don't think their know what to do with Luke and Noah.
