I used to love Kinks scenes, but seeing BB sitting by Kendall's bedside, singing to her after running her betraying mouth about how she knows Kendall will understand why she asked Zach to help her because Reese is so cool, made me want to hurl..I can't believe they ruined this beautiful relationship in this way..What should have been a heartwrenching scenes was disgusting...and BB came off as more selfish, self-serving, and disgusting...The singing didn't bother me, it was who was singing..Babe is not Dixie so they shouldn't have gone there and BB singing to Kendall just makes me sick...especially after what the writers had her do to Kendall..

I gave it a week. I watched the Tornado scenes, and the week after to see what would happen. I must say that I was not disappointed: The writers blew it completely. I will go back to watching the first scenes until opening credits, then I will delete if I am not interested which, from the looks of things, will be often.Too Bad.Poor Tamara Braun.

It is so upsetting to see this offensive storyline be carried out.They have damaged the character of Zach made Bianca out to be one of the most self-entitled selfish people that ever existed. She played god with her child. She helped herself to her sister's husband and her sister is supposed ot be ok with it? She didn't give Kendall a chance to say no so she went ahead with the insemination. These writers have finally succeeded where the past two regimes have failed...total and complete destrucion of beloved charaacters.
If the intent was to completely overhaul AMC, then they should have killed off every character on AMC and start fresh as they did when Loving became The City. at least those characters died and weren't destroyed. And that's what i wnat for Bianca and her baby, for them to die!
What is most infuriating about this is, that the executives will do nothing, NOTHING, to rectify this offensive mess.

Pratt has taken two of the most beloved characters in AMC history--Zach and Bianca and tried to destroy them. With Binks he will succeed because her fanbase is not strong enough to withstand this. Zach's fans are passionate and loyal--he will survive, no thanks to Pratt. What is the rationale for trying to destroy some of AMC's most popular characters no one knows. It seems insane to me when ratings are teetering on the edge of oblivion already. Binks has been beyond disgusting ever since she came back. I guess Pratt thought she was so beloved, fans would support her in anything no matter how vile. Wrong! She is dead to me. This s/l is disgusting and I am turning off my TV after 20 years of rarely missing a show. I will be back when I hear that things are better--but frankly from what I hear of spoilers, I'm not sure that will ever happen. Congrats to Pratt for taking this show that was already nearly ruined by B & E, and throwing it down the toilet. Never mind what the loyal fans want--we who have supported this show for 20, 30 and more years. We are not important. As long as Frons and Pratt are happy, that's all that matters.

And Pratt has also done what I would have thought no writer could do--make a newborn baby despised.

maggiek, I second that...In a matter of days, Bianca has turned from of the most beloved characters on AMC to the most disgusting, hated characters in daytime..Today, I couldn't believe the dialog..BB reasons for not telling anyone was so that Kendall wouldn't have a chance to say no..Selfish, self-serving piece of worthless trash..Not to mention, Kendall is fighting for her life and all BB can do is smile stupidly and say "Reese is so Cool"..I get it now.... Reese is cool.... Zach donated because after two days with Cool Reese, his daddy issues went out the window, along with the respect, love, and devotion he had for his family, and also the fear of doing anything that would cause him to lose his family.Bianca turned into a betraying witch because, well, Reese is so cool.Once Kendall wakes up, she will met Reese, realize she is cool, and think it's great that she was betrayed this way..GMAB...Ruining Zach & Bianca is sick, but what Pratt has also done is tanked the Reese/BB love story before it's started and made Reese hated already... I don't get the logic behind this, but then again, this is ABC/AMC and they never use logic..I tuned in today for the sole purpose of seeing my beloved Erica call that betraying witch on her crap for what she's done and what do we get.... Nothing..Just a few disgusting looks and nothing... "I guess Reese must be cool to get Zach to father your child"..Where was the "REAL" Erica today.... Hell, where was the "REAL" Greenlee when we needed her..Did TPTB really believe that this repulsive, character assinating, disgusting story about Zach/BB/bundle of betrayal would have fans tuning in..Did they think this would make us glued to our TV screnes??Did they think that by destroying Kinks, Bianca, Zach with one swipe of a pen that would push ratings through the roof.Zach will survive, but barely.... The character will never be the same...Oh well, I guess as long as TPTB have Cool Reese, they don't need anything else, not the Real Erica or the "REAL" Zach. Nope, they have Cool Reese, that betraying witch, and the bundle of betrayal that's driving viewers away... Babies on soaps are usually embraced by the viewers, no matter who the parents are, but the bundle of betaryal is loathed....along with her mommies Cool Reese and BB...The show just keeps sinking to new lows right along with the ratings..My heart and sympathies go out to the wonderful, amazingly talented actors/actresses who work so hard and are rewarded with crap writing and seeing the characters they've brought to life destroyed...I predict AMC off the air by May and I contribute most of that to the return of BB, her spawn, and Cool Reese.... This sperm story is killing everythig else on the show..

As horrific as this storyline is, it has mobilized AMC fans more than any story I can ever think of.(and I have watched AMC since day one) I am as quilty as anyone about threatening to tune out and then not doing it. As much as I hate it, it's like watching a train wreck or driving by an accident scene. I am watching to see who they are going to decimate next. I was going to say that I would stop watching when they have killed off every character that I like....the problem is, I don't like any of them anymore. Yet still I watch and as much as I complain about this show, I don't see my viewing habits changing. I want to see how they are going to dig themselves out of this mess.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with this in that I do know of quite a few people who have stopped watching the show. Many were on the fence before this storyline hit and this horrible mess was the final straw. I also know others who have decided not to watch until Alicia Minshew is back full time. While not conclusive, the two days of the tornado where we do have ratings information right now show that AMC got a 2.1 and 2.0 for that Thursday and Friday (October 16 & 17), and averaged a 1.9 for the week which is no different that what they had been getting the previous months before the tornado. We'll need to see what the ratings are for last week's shows, but if they still get a 1.9, I think their little experiment will be regarded as a failure. If they score a 2.0 or better, I think ABC will wait and see if that rating holds and if AMC can build upon it.

I have definitely stopped watching AMC and will remain in a coma until Kendall is awake. I cannot believe that no one is upset that BB/Zach have a baby together and that Zach has not explained why he betrayed his wife and family for BB except that Reese was "Cool". This is one nasty and disgusting storyline with tones of holes in it that I'm not willing to sit through and watch from my DVR or Live. AMC need to get their act together and stop trying to emulate with stunts and shock values like GH, because GH is also in the toilet as well.

AMC was such classy well written show with friendships, families and couples that loved each. But I'm tired of this Zach/Kendall angst and writing crap for them out of character and the 2 seconds of scenes they get with on real payoffs. AMC has broken this long time fan and now it's time for me to skip back over to the number one SOAP Y&R. They aren't number 1 for nothing.
