Poor AMC should NEVER show an episode post McTavish's last year because it just makes you miss so much. The actors, the writing, the sets.

What has Pine Valley become?? (I would also like to note that today's Fan inspired episode did NOT center around Greenlee or Ryan. In all these years since then fans STILL don't want it to center around them.)

I know. I get it's supposed to be a cost saving measure to show a repeat instead of producing a new show. But I think it's ..to coin a phrase - penny wise and dollar foolish. Because after watching an old episode, it is even more obvious what the AMC of today is missing - memorable characters, decent writing and an overall feel of quality.

I thought Frons & Co said that moving to CA would save money, give them more sets to use, etc....but seems to me that was just another "LIE".....I did tune in yesterday to see that show, because I missed when the show was good....I love MEK and loved the fun epi, but I've already seen it.....and it just proves what is lacking on AMC now...Characters we care about..... Characters we love, love to hate, like......... Instead of, characters we have no use for....Characters who are just disgusting...and a handful of second rate actors who are in front burner stories they don't belong in.....It's just sad...seems to be AMC isn't long for daytime......Not with Frons pulling stunts like this.....I really miss Myrtle, Zach, Adam, Palmer...They should do a fanfav epi now....but they won't because Rylee would be killed off....GTO wouldn't exist...and it might actually be what fans want...So much for moving the show to LA in an attempt to save money & it...........The move has cost them more than they can afford to lose...

You know what else budget cuts have done away with? Extras. How nice it was to see a wedding full of people. Nowadays you're lucky if the bride and groom's family actually show up to a wedding or event.

I loved, loved yesterday's show. I loved it the first time around too. What it pointed out to me is the poor production values of the present show; the uninteresting characters and the loss of actors with talent in favor of the 'hunks' with little finsse, class or any likability and no chemistry as opposed to John Callahan who was just sizzling with both Brooke and Maria. David who was outstanding with Anna and Michael E. Knight who had it with everyone especially Simone. Oh what a lost opportunity that was. All of them added a sense of class, and sophistication and acting ability that is missing with Rylee, Jr and Annie who are just sleazy and Jamanda who have no substance. The sets were beautiful, the wardrobe as well and the makeup perfect. Now sorry to say but all the those things look like a high school production. One other thing, I noticed the the fans didn't want Ryan or Greenlee they were no where to be found or even mentioned in yesterday's episode. shouldn't that have given a hint to the myoptic Frons about his worship for these two?
