It was a stunt, designed to get you to watch. It's Pratt's M.O. I'm over his style of writing. It offends me at this point.I happen to like Marissa for the most part, and I like the actress who plays her, but why kill off Babe if you're only going to remind us of her every.single.day? Babe's gravestone gets more airtime than Walt Willey or Aidan Turner combined. Why have JR and David tell Marissa that she's a constant reminder of Babe? Can't Marissa stand on her own two feet?

And to top it off, Marissa is nothing like Babe at all.....in looks, in personality, etc. I am enjoying her for herself but the idea that she needs to be Babe's sister is irrelevant to me. She looks nothing like her (either Babe), she has none of her mannerisms, and she is way too nice to be like Babe...so I am not exactly sure why she is reminding people of St. Babe. Pratt is full of stunts it seems. I am still trying to figure out why Ryan got a call from Alexander Cambius Sr who was writing a book. In it, if we remember, he confessed that someone other than himself as the Satin Slayer killed Dixie. Is that still part of the story or is it as meaningless has the rest of Pratt's wrting? Why bring it up in the first place if you are not going to follow through? I am sorry but Pratt is a terrible writer.The only way to correct any of this is have the tornado be "Dallas' shower" and we all experience a re-do since the fall. There are far too many loose ends and things to fix...and way too many things to just sweep under the rug hoping we pretend they never happened. Soap opera fans in general have great memories. It's going to take a long long time to get over the travesty that AMC has become these past months. If and when it turns around, we can only hope the audience is still there to notice.

I know.. . Erica is still in the cell with Carmen and this was a bad dream ....or Kendal is still in the coma and dreams this .. or everything since last summer is a new book Kendall is writing. ..or lastly Annie in her delusions of seeing Richie etc. imagines all this in a drug induced haze.

Yeah and when they wake up, Ryan will really have died in the tornado...wishful thinking, huh!?

Does Anyone remember the ending of Rosanne show where Dan really died and she was just writing a story? They could do something like that.
