I feel like I live in Siberia or something. I get my SOD a week late! You all have the issue with the TK/AW interview and I just got the one with the comment from Charles Pratt that everyone was talking about a week ago! The one where he had the results of some "mystery poll" in which 50% wanted Ryan and Kendall together. Geez, I only live in Maine. Why does it take me so long to get my magazine!?!?!

Most people don't get their issues until later in the week at least. I live in NYC only about 10 blocks from the SOD/SOC offices and we most usually get our magazines in my neighborhood on Friday. Sometimes they do not show up until the following Monday.

However there are a few areas that seem to get them earlier, not sure why. But there is usually someone that posts about them at various websites so that is how most of us saw this particular article.

It often helps me to decide if I actually want to buy the issue that week. Since Pratt took over, there haven't been very many weeks that I have been interested to read about AMC. But this coming week with the TK/AM interview, I will be buying it for sure.

I too want to thank SOD, Mara L, and of course TK and AM for this coming interview. It takes a lot of guts to basically speak out against a headwriter so I have to really commend both the magazine and the actors for doing so.

As a rule, I am usually nervous about what a writer can do if an actor or mag is critical of what they do...I would always worry that the writer would somehow take out their anger on the actors or characters. In this case, there is nothing that he could do that would be possibly worse than what he has done so I am glad someone spoke up. But I still commend you all for doing so.

I would like to second that too! Mara, thanks for conducting the interview. I also appreciate them for speaking out!

Add me to the list of appreciative AMC/Zendall fans who read the interview with Alicia Minshew and Thorsten Kaye and loved their honesty, humor and personal take on their current storyline and the future for Zendall. I bought my copy today, and I intend to buy another for my scrapbook. (I'm a grown woman, a professional, and an obsessed Zendall fan. Proud of it, too!)It's very rare when both TK and AM sit down together to talk about the show, and even rarer when they're as candid as they were in the interview. I'm also concerned that neither of them, especially AM, experience any backlash from TPTB, but I'll be supporting both of them for as long as they're on AMC.It's my hope that Zendall's future is more optimistic than either actor described it in the interview. I understand why they're so upset with the story, believe me, I understand. But I have hope that Zendall are only down, not out. Even if the writing glosses over their huge problems, I would think that the acting and the characters' history together, which I refuse to rewrite or forget, will make any reunion believable. Here's to hope. And thanks again, Mara Levinsky.

Even if I wasn't a fan, I would still admire Alicia Minshew for her bravery in speaking up for herself after Charles Pratt willfully decimated the character she has built up over the last seven years. That's a brave woman who shows more integrity in her little finger than I've seen in most people, especially a particular someone who likes to blame actresses for the failures of their ill-conceived and poorly executed storylines.Thank you, Mara.

I'd also like to add my thanks for the joint interview of my favorite daytime duo. It does take a lot of guts to speak out against the writing . I appreciated their candor. My admiration and respect for Thorsten and Alicia continues to grow. They are committed to their profession, to telling a good and believable story. They know their characters inside and out. Together, they gave the viewers Team Slater. Thorsten and Alicia make this couple special and I absolutely hate that Mr. Pratt has completely disrespected them.I know how I feel as a viewer watching this crud, I can only imagine how the actors feel every time they received a new script that continually messed with who they are.I believe Zach and Kendall can make it through and I hope that we get another joint interview - one that promotes the huge romantic payoff Zen fans have been waiting for.

I would also like to say thank you for the interview. I am glad that Alicia was able to say how she feels and how she is playing Kendall in this storyline. I know what I see on my TV screen and I totally see that the love is very much there between these two. I have faith in TK and AM to make a reunion between them something to see. They are what make this couple believable not the writers of this show.

Adding my thanks to you Mara and SOD. It was sad reading it, cause I love Zach and Kendall. It seems like Alicia and Thorsten pretty much echo everything the fans have been saying. Thanks for writing the article. I just hope that someone realizes exactly what they have lost in breaking up Zach and Kendall - AMC's money couple!

I'm posting my "ICAM" to Mara Levinsky's Monday morning quick thought on the home page of this website about the cruelty and insanity of the current writing for Zach and Kendall which is akin to a slap in the face and simultaneous kick in the teeth and punch to the gut of all Zendall fans.Tit for tat infidelity is not fun to watch AT ALL. But on the plus side, I'm learning that if I can survive this storyline, and so far I am, I can survive just about anything AMC throws at me. If this is a test of a fan's loyalty, I'm passing so far. I do it because of my belief in how great this couple can and should be, and how hard I can tell AM and TK are working in this story not to make this the Ugliest Breakup Ever. I see the love between Zach and Kendall, despite best efforts in the writing otherwise. I'm still watching until Yogi Berra's fat lady sings, and so far, I'm not hearing her. Thanks, Mara. Someone has to call this nonsense out for what it is.

I admire you for seeing a good side to this Gator. You are a better person than I.

But yes my applause goes to Mara L and to all the other mags, columnists, and reporters who are speaking their mind and acknowledging the hatchet job being done to Zach and Kendall and AMC in general.

I don't think I ever remember so much criticism being directed at a headwriter and I certainly don't remember it coming from some many different sides. We can't all be wrong, can we?
