So I'm borrowing from SOD for my subject line, but I wanted to give GH applause for remembering Anna's history - from while she was on another soap! - recently. When Matt was in the hospital, someone asked Anna if Robin was her only child, and Anna said that Robin is her only LIVING child. Thank you, scribes, for acknowledging that Anna had a daughter that died while she was on AMC.

I have lots of Picky, Picky comments about GH writers NOT remembering history, so this was nice!

My most recent Picky Picky is that the writers didn't use any history when Nikolas approached Jax about buying the Metro Court. Nikolas said he wanted to buy it because he could see the hotel from Spoon Island. He should have said that he wanted to buy the hotel for Spencer because the hotel is named for Spencer's mother Courtney. Then Jax could have been mad because he and Courtney were married at the time Nikolas and Courtney had the affair that resulted in Spencer. Then Nikolas could have reminded Jax that he and Carly tried to keep baby Spencer away from Nikolas after Courtney's death during the epidemic in the hospital. Unfortunately, the writers didn't even have subtle references to any of this during the scene. It would have been, IMO, so much more tense and riviting if the writers had just added a few comments between the two men about this history. As it was, it was pretty much a throw away scene. Such a waste!
