I do believe it is Luke as well. Did you notice how he kept on saying that is was probably Carly when he and Lulu were talking they both just assumed that it wasnt him. But another thing that gets me that all the suspects when they were driving didnt say oh I hit a pothole or hit something that would have lead to think that maybe they were the one that hit Jake.

It's the same almost word for word as when Sam was hit & practically everyone in town was out driving. That one also turned out to be a case of drunk driving & an iconic character (Monica) hitting her. There was also no punishment for Monica beyond entering treatment. In this case, the town will probably villify Luke. The truth is there isn't a person in Port Charles who knows how to drive. They all drive like maniacs & their minds are always on everything but the road they're on. Everyone on that list had been on Liz's street, yet none of them even remembered being there until after they were confronted about it. They all should have their licenses taken away. The only one who had a halfway plausible excuse for bad driving was Luke. At least his impairment was caused by alcohol. Theirs was caused by carelessness. Given how all of them were driving, it was just a case of timing & dumb luck that it wasn't one of them.As for why Sam's supposedly infertile (the same way Courtney was), she still has scarring from when she was shot. So, of course, now that Jake is dead, the writers will make Sam "miraculously" conceive. I just hope they make Jason's reaction realistic. You can not replace one child with another. They aren't lamps that suddenly don't go with the decor.

Not sure if everyone has seen it, but the New York Post ran a story about the uproar of Jake's death. I would say it's a good thing but w the Unholy Trinity, they are probabaly just eating up the press.A thing that's been bugging after watching all week is Jason's comment about holding Jake only 8 times. Um, hello, this # is way off. I know the Idiots in Charge want us to forget about Liason but remember when Jason used to drop by Elizabeth's house to see Jake? What about when they were sneaking around to see each other? Jake was around on some of those occasions. After Emily's death, Jason spent time w Jake to help w his grief. That line of dialogue just rubbed me the wrong way.

One more thing-- I HATED Elizabeth apologizing to Jason about slapping & lashing out @ him. The woman had just lost a child & had every right to act like she did. But b/c this s/l is all about St. Jason, she had to take it all back. Anyone who says anything bad about St. Jason or Sonny has to turn around & spout that they are "great" "wonderful" guys. I want the worship of these 2 characters to stop. I also want to see a strong woman who doesn't turn to mush b/c of these 2. That would be a start to begin to turn around the show but who am I kidding- this will never happen.

Quote:"Jason would never ever be able to forgive her and may send him on a completely different path of his life. Maybe he will leave Sonny and go straight. We will see." Thats is what I'm hoping for. The way he's been ignored and treated its time for Jason to go his own way. He's there for everyone & when he needs someone no on is there. I'd like to see that as well. There is no where left for Steve Burton to go with the character. Time for another change of character. I still think Luke did. Here's a major star of the show who hasn't had a decent storyline in how long? And still manages to come up with an Emmy nomination year after year/? Give him something to ACT!

I would have to disagree I totally hated when she lashed out on him and she deserved to give him an apology. I understand that she is a grieving mother and she needs to lash out on someone and I have no problem with her lashing out on Jason but the point of how she lashed out saying he abonded her or what not ummm yeah so not true. The agreement was for him to stay away to keep Jake "safe" and yeah we see how well that turned out. So I feel that Jason deserved the apology. I just find it quite ironic that she kept Jason away to keep Jake safe and the poor baby still ended up dying.I was irritated with Luke basically blaming Carly for the accident but I think he was doing this because he knew it was either him or her and he did not want to face the fact that he could've been the one to hit his grandson, but I did not feel he was right for telling Lucky about Carly but not about himself that was just selfish.

It has been very difficult to watch my fav soap for over more than the last 2+ yrs. But I kept hoping it was gonna get better. Liason blew me away in a good way. Jake should have been raised by Liz and Jason. Jasam part 2, Aiden, Nic, Luck, Liz s/l should have never happened. But the killing of Jake has been so hard to watch. I loved this little actor/character. Then as Jason was on the canvas I was furious Steve told him to not see Liz. Then Jason and Liz scenes all 2 of them were so unfeeling. Nothing like throwing Jason and Liz fans under the "bus" I'm tired of the pushing of the character of Sam who has had awful s/l's since they put her back with Jason. I hope TPTB really are going to exit and either force Guza to write better s/l's or get rid of him also.

I think the reason SB & RH played the scenes the way they did is because sometimes a person's in so much pain, they just go numb. But, I do agree completely on Sam. The worst thing they did for that character was bring her back together with Jason & it would be a mistake to make her get pregnant, esp. with Jason's baby. It would be dishonest for Jason to want a baby right now. A year from now, maybe. But, as I said before, you can't replace one kid with another one. Jake was unique in his parents' hearts & another baby would be another baby, with his/her own personality. He needs to mourn his son. Carly went through that when Michael went in the coma & Jax wanted to start trying for a baby right away. I also agree about the whitewash of Jason & Liz. Everyone in town now knows Jason was Jake's father. There's no reason to have him avoid Liz. As for Steve asking Jason to stay away from Liz, it was a brother's instinct to protect his sister. I think it was stupid too, considering he let Lucky in with her & it was Lucky's rage over her affair with Nik that put Liz in Shadybrook. He shouldn't be encouraging L&L to be together for that reason. I think the 3 of them (Lucky, Liz & Jason), who've always made decisions about Jake together, should mourn him together.
